        환경풍동 내 공기의 온도와 속도 변화에 대한 공기 유동과 전열 특성을 분석하기 위하여 수치해석을 수행하였다. 풍동 시험부 내 각 단면의 평균 속도, 균일도, 그리고 대류 열전달계수는 노즐 출구의 온도와 속도에 따라 큰 영향을 받게 된다. 노즐 출구로부 터 멀어질수록 평균 속도와 균일도가 점차 감소하고, 노즐 출구의 속도가 50km/h일 때 공기온도가 -40~60oC까지 변화함에 따라 단면 평균 속도와 균일도가 각각 약 12.9%와 13.5% 정도까지 증가하였다. 또한 시험부 바닥의 대류 열전달계수는 50~150km/h의 속도 변화에 대해 약 59.7%까지 증가하였으며, 공기의 온도와 속도가 증가함에 따라 시험부 열 유속도 함께 증가하였다. 본 연구에서 수행한 결과들은 최적의 환경풍동 설계에 필요한 주요 설계 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

        To improve the mechanical properties of aluminum, graphene has been used as a reinforcing material, yielding graphene-reinforced aluminum matrix composites (GRAMCs). Dispersion of graphene materials is an important factor that affects the properties of GRAMCs, which are mainly manufactured by mechanical mixing methods such as ball milling. However, the use of only mechanical mixing process is limited to achieve homogeneous dispersion of graphene. To overcome this problem, in this study, we have prepared composite materials by coating aluminum particles with graphene by a self-assembly reaction using poly vinylalcohol and ethylene diamine as coupling agents. The scanning electron microscopy and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy results confirm the coating of graphene on the Al surface. Bulk density of the sintered composites by spark plasma sintering achieved a relative density of over 99% up to 0.5 wt.% graphene oxide content.

        We investigate the characteristics of self-assembled quantum dot infrared photodetectors(QDIPs) based on doping level. Two kinds of QDIP samples are prepared using molecular beam epitaxy : n+-i(QD)-n+ QDIP with undoped quantum dot(QD) active region and n+-n−(QD)-n+ QDIP containing Si direct doped QDs. InAs QDIPs were grown on semi-insulating GaAs (100) wafers by molecular-beam epitaxy. Both top and bottom contact GaAs layer are Si doped at 2×1018/cm3. The QD layers are grown by two-monolayer of InAs deposition and capped by InGaAs layer. For the n+-n−(QD)-n+ structure, Si dopant is directly doped in InAs QD at 2×1017/cm3. Undoped and doped QDIPs show a photoresponse peak at about 8.3 μm, ranging from 6~10 μm at 10 K. The intensity of the doped QDIP photoresponse is higher than that of the undoped QDIP on same temperature. Undoped QDIP yields a photoresponse of up to 50 K, whereas doped QDIP has a response of up to 30 K only. This result suggests that the doping level of QDs should be appropriately determined by compromising between photoresponsivity and operating temperature.

        Assembly of automobile interior materials is very important for assembly and inspection such as sensitivity and noise reduction. Particularly, since assembling parts of automobile interior parts is manually assembled by a worker, a claim due to poor assembly sometimes occurs. In addition, as the labor cost rises, automobile assembly line adopts automatic assembly device as the concept of smart factory in assembly process. Therefore, in this study, we intend to develop automatic assembly device of the door trim for reducing the field claim, improving the productivity, and reducing the assembly failure.

        연안지역의 오염된 저서환경을 개선 및 관리하기 위한 피복재의 성능 평가를 위하여 Mesocosm 실험을 수행하였다. 석탄회 조립물을 연안 오염 퇴적물에 피복하고 1, 3, 6개월 후의 pH, ORP(Oxidation Reduction Potential), 인산염 및 황화수소 농도 변화를 조사하였다. 석탄회 조립물에 함유되어 있는 산화칼슘은 가수분해 과정에 의해 산성화 된 퇴적물을 중화시키는 것으로 조사되었다. 또한 석탄회 조립물에서 용출되는 칼슘 및 실리카 이온은 퇴적물 간극수 중의 인산염을 침전시켜 퇴적물 내의 인산염 농도를 84.31 % 감소시키는 것으로 조사되었다. 황화수소 농도는 1개월 만에 133.5 mg/L가 감소하였으며, 이는 황화수소가 석탄회 조립물 중의 산화망간과의 화학적 반응을 통해 침전되고, 퇴적물의 투수성 향상으로 퇴적물 내부의 혐기성이 약해졌기 때문으로 판단된다. 이상의 Mesocosm 실험 결과를 통해 석탄회 조립물을 오염된 퇴적물 상부에 피복하는 기술은 저서환경 개선에 효과적인 것으로 판단된다.

        The setting of values on door hinge mounting compensation for door assembly tolerance is a constant quality issue in vehicle production. Generally, heuristic methods are used in satisfying appropriate door gap and level difference, flushness to improve quality. However, these methods are influenced by the engineer's skills and working environment and result an increasement of development costs. In order to solve these problems, the system which suggests hinge mounting compensation value using CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) analysis is proposed in this study. A structural analysis model was constructed to predict the door gap and level difference, flushness through CAE based on CAD (Computer Aided Design) data. The deformations of 6-degrees of freedom which can occur in real vehicle doors was considered using a stiffness model which utilize an analysis model. The analysis model was verified using 3D scanning of real vehicle door hinge deformation. Then, system model which applying the structural analysis model suggested the final adjustment amount of the hinge mounting to obtain the target door gap and the level difference by inputting the measured value. The proposed system was validated using the simulation and showed a reliability in vehicle hinge mounting compensation process. This study suggests the possibility of using the CAE analysis for setting values of hinge mounting compensation in actual vehicle production.

        ACT Column은 기존 CFT 기둥보다 얇은 강판으로도 동일한 구조적 성능을 발휘할 수 있으며, 콘크리트의 구속효과와 강관의 항복 후 좌굴응력의 향상을 기대할 수 있다. ACT Column은 보-기둥 접합부에 외다이아프램을 사용한 접합상세가 적용된다. 그러나 ACT Column 외부에 콘크리트가 피복되는 SRC 타입에서는 외다이아프램을 사용한 접합부의 적용이 난해하다. 그래서 ACT Column의 외부에 수직 스티프너와 수평 스티프너를 사용한 접합상세를 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 제안상세를 대상으로 단순인장실험을 통해 성능검증을 수행하였다. 실험체는 현장에 사용량이 많은 크기의 ACT Column 으로 2개의 실험체를 제작하였다. 보 플랜지와 보 플랜지의 양측부에 부착된 윙플레이트를 통해 보 플랜지의 단면 내력이 링다이아프램으로 전달되는 명확한 응력전달매커니즘을 나타내었으며, 보 플랜지 전단면이 소성화되어 파괴되었다. 윙플레이트의 크기가 클수록 하중전달량이 증가하였으며, 제안한 접합상세의 강도평가식을 제시하였다.

        In this study, we consider the assembly line balancing (ALB) problem which is known as an very important decision dealing with the optimal design of assembly lines. We consider ALB problems with soft constraints which are expected to be fulfilled, however they are not necessarily to be satisfied always and they are difficult to be presented in exact quantitative forms. In previous studies, most researches have dealt with hard constraints which should be satisfied at all time in ALB problems. In this study, we modify the mixed integer programming model of the problem introduced in the existing study where the problem was first considered. Based on the modified model, we propose a new algorithm using the genetic algorithm (GA). In the algorithm, new features like, a mixed initial population selection method composed of the random selection method and the elite solutions of the simple ALB problem, a fitness evaluation method based on achievement ratio are applied. In addition, we select the genetic operators and parameters which are appropriate for the soft assignment constraints through the preliminary tests. From the results of the computational experiments, it is shown that the proposed algorithm generated the solutions with the high achievement ratio of the soft constraints.

        This study develops numerical model of mega composite columns in fire and investigates the residual areas using 500℃ isotherm method and residual capacity of mega composite columns after 3 hours. In order to perform heat transfer analysis, thermal properties of steels and concrete were adopted from Eurocodes. In addition to, the temperature distributions of composite columns with respect to fire tests were compared with numerical analysis results. As a result, residual capacity of mega composite column with 1m width remained more than 45%. The residual capacity of mega composite column was only increased to 2.3∼2.6% with the use of additional rebars.

        The application of the theoretical model to real assembly lines has been one of the biggest challenges for researchers and industrial engineers. There should be some realistic approach to achieve the conflicting objectives on real systems. Therefore, in this paper, a model is developed to synchronize a real system (A discrete event simulation model) with a theoretical model (An optimization model). This synchronization will enable the realistic optimization of systems. A job assignment model of the assembly line is formulated for the evaluation of proposed realistic optimization to achieve multiple conflicting objectives. The objectives, fluctuation in cycle time, throughput, labor cost, energy cost, teamwork and deviation in the skill level of operators have been modeled mathematically. To solve the formulated mathematical model, a multi-objective simulation integrated hybrid genetic algorithm (MO-SHGA) is proposed. In MO-SHGA each individual in each population acts as an input scenario of simulation. Also, it is very difficult to assign weights to the objective function in the traditional multi-objective GA because of pareto fronts. Therefore, we have proposed a probabilistic based linearization and multi-objective to single objective conversion method at population evolution phase. The performance of MO-SHGA is evaluated with the standard multi-objective genetic algorithm (MO-GA) with both deterministic and stochastic data settings. A case study of the goalkeeping gloves assembly line is also presented as a numerical example which is solved using MO-SHGA and MO-GA. The proposed research is useful for the development of synchronized human based assembly lines for real time monitoring, optimization, and control.

        글로벌 경제 침체 속에서 기업은 날로 높아져 가는 소비자들의 수요를 만족하기 위하여 납기 대응 그리고 LB(Line Balance, 라인편성효율) 향상과 제조원가의 절감을 위한 생산성 향상은 중요한 개선 항목이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 자동차 물류 중 조달물류를 대상으로 하여 불출자의 로드밸런스율을 증대할 수 있는 휴리스틱 알고리즘 개발에 대하여 연구를 진행함으로써 1차 목표 값을 적용하였을 load balancing율은 45.6%에서 91.7%로 개선 된 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

        As the size of the wind turbine tower becomes larger and larger, research on assembled wind turbine tower that is advantageous for transportation and installation is continuing. Large wind turbine tower require door openings for maintenance. The opening of the tower has an irregular cross section, and an excessive stress is generated due to the door opening. The result is structural damage to the tower and many accidents. In this research, stress analysis was performed on a model with internal stiffener to prevent excessive stress. The stress was investigated around the openings where the tower was resonant and excessive stressed, and the shape of the openings was optimized. Through optimization, we confirmed that the maximum stress was reduced by about 6% with respect to the initial value.
