2022년 우리나라의 합계출산율이 0.78명으로 역대 최저를 기록했다. 그러나, 한 국의 최저 출생률 상황에서도 유아용품 시장은 성장하고 있는 특이한 양상을 보이고 있다. 좋은 제품을 원하는 부모의 소비 욕구와 경제적 합리성을 고려한 양육자의 소비 특성은 유아 용품 시장의 양면성을 나타내는 것이다. 그러나 이에 대한 연구는 미비하기에, 본 연구는 유아 용품 소비자의 양면적 특성을 분석하여 소비가치가 태도와 구매 의도에 미치는 영향을 살펴 보고자 하였다. 특히 유아용품 브랜드 유형을 중저가와 프리미엄으로 분류하고 이에 따른 소비 가치와 소비자 행동 간의 상관관계를 조사하여 시장에 유용한 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 프리미엄 유아용품 브랜드와 중저가 유아용품 브랜드의 양면적 소비자에게 미치는 영향을 탐색하였고, 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아용품의 소비가치는 일반적으로 태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 사회적 가치는 유아용품의 소비가치 중에서 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않았으나, 프리미엄 유아용품에서는 사회적 가치가 태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치지만, 중저가 유아용품에서는 부정적인 영향을 미친것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 중저가 유아용품은 기능적 가치의 중요성이 높았다. 넷째, 프리미엄 유아용품과 중저가 유아용품 간의 제품 구매를 통한 감정적 만족도에는 큰 차이가 없었다. 다섯째, 유아용품 구매 시 대다수의 소비자가 이성적 가치와 감정적 가치를 복합적으로 고려하는 양면적 소비자로 나타났다. 실무 적으로는 프리미엄 유아용품과 중저가 유아용품의 차이에 대한 이해를 통해, 사회적 가치에 대한 브랜드 전략의 중요성과 중저가 유아용품에서는 기능성 강조가 효과적일 것임을 강조 하였다. 본 연구를 통해 유아용품 시장의 동향과 소비자 행동에 대한 깊은 이해를 제공하여 기업 들이 효과적인 전략 수립에 기여할 것으로 기대할 수 있다.
Although interest in eco-friendly fashion products is increasing among scholars and industry leaders, the concept of eco-friendly products remains unclear, preventing consistent assessment of which fashion products are eco-friendly. This study conducted a content analysis of eco-friendly product information from 87 domestic and 102 foreign brands to reveal key standards for categorizing eco-friendly fashion products. Product characteristic information was coded according to the four material-based standards (i.e., organic material, regenerative material, alternative material, and sustainably produced/upcycled material). Consistency between coders was confirmed by Cohen’s kappa. In results, eco-friendly fashion products are categorized by four material-based standards and two certification standards (i.e., certified, not certified). Among the four material-based categories, the greatest number of domestic and foreign companies produced eco-friendly products that were classified as the regenerative material group. In addition, companies acquired eco-friendly certifications related to the use of organic, regenerative, and alternative materials. The greatest number of eco-friendly material brands used for eco-friendly fashion products belonged to the regenerative material group. Based on the study results, a typology of eco-friendly products was suggested. This typology can benefit practitioners and academics by highlighting a need for classification system for the eco-friendly fashion products, as well as by providing insight into the categorization of eco-friendly fashion products.
The purpose of this study was to compare and analyze the importance and satisfaction of consumer selective attributes by home meal replacement (HMR) types using local ingredients. This study was conducted from December 4 to December 8, 2020. A total of 380 responses organized according to preferred types of HMR (100 for Ready to Eat (RTE), 92 for Ready to Heat (RTH), 88 for Ready to Cook (RTC), 100 for Ready to Prepared (RTP) were used for the final analysis. Statistical analysis was conducted by descriptive analysis, paired t-test, and importance-satisfaction analysis by HMR type. Findings of this study showed significant differences in consumer selective attributes by HMR type. RTE and RTC need to improve quality while RTH needs to improve quality and packaging. Notable selective attributes were quality, packaging, and information. They were located in different quadrants of each HMR type. All other attributes appeared in the same quadrant. Further research is needed to determine differences in quality, packaging, and information for each HMR type. Results of this study provide basic data for developing products and marketing strategies for each type of HMR products using local ingredients.
This study examined the effect of Instagram usage time (short, long) and spending on fashion products (light, heavy) on product attitude and purchase intention of products promoted by an influencer. The moderating effect of influencer type (mega, macro, micro) was also investigated. A total of 515 males and females in their 20s participated in an online survey. Descriptive statistics were analyzed and exploratory factor analysis and two-way ANOVA were conducted. Research findings were as follows. First, the usage time, both short and long, had a positive effect on product attitude. Also, the interactive effects of usage time and influencer type on product attitude were found. Consumers with short Instagram usage time displayed the highest attitude toward products promoted by a macro-influencer whereas consumers with long Instagram usage time displayed the highest attitude toward products promoted by a micro-influencer. Second, usage time and influencer type did not show interactive effects on purchase intention. Third, both categoriacl variables of users’ spending on fashion products had a positive effect on product attitude. Fourth, the interaction effects of spending on fashion products and influencer types on purchase intention were found. The group of light buyers showed the highest purchase intention on products promoted by the macro-influencer while the group of heavy buyers showed the highest purchase intention of products promoted by the micro-influencer. Based on the results, implications were suggested.

제품유형과 가격, 브랜드 이미지 등의 상호작용이 소비자의 구매의도와 품질지각에 미치는 효과에 대해서는 다양한 현상을 관찰해 왔다. 그러나 제품유형과 제조방식의 상호작용이 이 요인들에 미치는 효과에 대해서는 연구가 드물었다. 그러나 3D프린터의 등장은 기계를 통한 자동화 생산과 수공예로 대표되던 제조방식에 3D프린팅이라는 새로운 방식을 추가하였고, 이러한 새로운 틀이 소비자의 구매의도와 품질지각에 영향을 미칠 가능성이 있기에 연구가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 제품유형과 제조방식의 상호작용이 구매의도와 품질지각에 미치는 효과를 검증하기 위하여 이루어졌 다. 이를 위한 실험 1은 성격이 다른 제품유형(드론 vs. 바이올린 vs. 컵)을 선정하였고, 제품유형별로 선호하는 제조방식 이 다르게 나타나는지 측정하였다. 결과적으로 소비자들은 드론과 같은 최신제품은 3D프린팅 제작을, 바이올린은 수공예 제작을, 컵은 대량생산이 용이한 기계 제작을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 실험 2는 제품유형에 따른 제작방식 선호의 차이가 구매의도와 품질지각에 미치는 영향에 대한 검증을 시도하였다. 즉 드론은 3D프린팅 제조일 때 구매의도 가 가장 높았고, 바이올린은 수공예일 때 구매의도가 가장 높았으며, 컵은 기계 제작일 때 구매의도가 가장 높았다. 또한 드론은 제작방식 간 품질지각에 차이가 없었던 반면, 바이올린은 수공예의 품질을 가장 우수하다고 지각했고, 컵은 3D프린팅에서 품질을 가장 낮게 지각했다(컵은 3D프린팅 제작일 때 구매의도도 가장 낮았다). 본 연구가 소비자 심리학, 마케팅, 광고 등의 분야에 폭넓은 시사점을 줄 것으로 기대한다.
This study aimed to identify the effects of fashion brand extensions types, preannouncing and consumers' regulatory focus on preference towards extension products. To that end, the study used a 2 (fashion brand extension types: similar vs. non-similar) × 2 (preannouncing: near preannouncing vs. far preannouncing) × 2 (regulatory focus: promotion focus vs. prevention focus) three mixed elements. The subjects of the study were 280 men and women in their 20~40s living in Seoul and Chungnam province and total of 229 data were analyzed. Data were analysed with SPSS 19.0 program and three-way ANOVA, simple interaction effects and simple main effects analysis were conducted. The results of this study are as follows: First there were significant differences in preference based on fashion brand extension types and preannouncing. Second, there were significant interaction effects in preference between extension types of fashion brand and regulatory focus. But there was no difference in preference toward extension products according to types of preannouncing and regulatory focus. Lastly, fashion brand extension types, preannouncing and regulatory focus showed significant interaction effects on preference. Thus even in cases of non-similar brand extensions which carry more risk of failing, the appropriate marketing communication strategies such as preannouncing will result in brand preference. Also marketing activities should be comprehensive and strategical based on consumers’ tendencies in order to derive positive evaluations.
시간과 돈 효과는 시간이라는 개념이 돈보다 소비자의 제품에 대한 태도 및 의사결정에 긍정적인 역할을 한다는 것을 의미한다. 시간과 돈을 어떻게 사용하는가는 각 개인의 정체성과 밀접한 관계가 있다. 기존 연구에 의하면, 시간은 경험으로 존재하기 때문에 시간은 물질적 제품보다 경험적 제품에 대해 좀 더 긍정적인 소비자 반응을 유발하는 반면, 돈은 소유로 대표되는 물질주의적 가치와 관련되어 있으므로 경험적 제품보다는 물질적 제품에 대해 좀 더 긍정적인 소비자 반응을 유발한다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 제품유형에 스마트폰을 더하여 시간과 돈의 효과가 소비자의 반응에 어떤 영향을 주는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 실험 1에서는 기존에 자신이 사용하였던 제품에 대한 평가를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 소비자의 만족도에 대해 시간과 돈 활성화 조건과 3 가지 제품유형(패밀리 레스토랑, 스마트폰, 고급브랜드청바지)간의 상호작용이 관찰되었으며, 스마트폰에 있어서는 시간활성화가 돈활성화보다 높은 만족도를 유발하였다. 실험 2에서는 실험1에서 사용된 제품유형에 대한 이미지 광고를 사용하여 시간과 돈 효과를 살펴보았다. 제품에 대한 태도, 만족도, 구매의사, 개인적 관련성 변인 모두에서 시간돈활성화 조건과 제품유형간의 상호작용이 관찰되었으며, 역시 스마트폰에서만 유의미한 활성화조건간 차가 관찰되었다. 아울러 활성화조건의 주효과도 관찰되어 시간활성화 광고가 돈활성화 광고보다 훨씬 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과에 대한 이론적, 실용적 함의점이 논의되었다.
Consumers can have impression goals as well as defense goals. Those with impression goals could use social goals or opinions of others in a social context to determine their attitudes, and those with defense goals could maintain their existing attitudes and beliefs. Since people typically approach pleasure and avoid pain, there are two kinds of goal orientations depending on regulatory focus theory. Therefore, marketers could design advertisements for their products on the basis of two types of focus, promotion-focused and prevention-focused advertisements. This study aims to explore how consumers with different consumption goals evaluate an advertised product. The results of this study demonstrate that consumers with impression goals felt much more "right" about the product in a promotion-focused, rather than prevention-focused, advertisement, and those with defense goals, felt much more "right" about the product in a prevention-focused advertisement. Consumers with impression goals evaluated the product in the promotion-focused advertisement more favorably than in the prevention-focused advertisement, and those with defense goals evaluated the product in the prevention-focused advertisement more favorably.
본 연구는 소비자들의 사고유형에 따른 소비 행동의 차이를 탐색하였다. 특히 소비자들이 실용제품의 평가에는 실용속성을, 쾌락제품의 평가에는 쾌락속성을 보다 많이 활용하게 될 것으로 예측하였다. 또한 소비자의 사고유형을 이성적 사고유형과 경험적 사고 유형으로 구분하고 제품속성 정보 유형에 따라 다른 사고유형을 유발시키는지를 검증하고, 이러한 사고유형이 제품평가에 미치는 영향을 탐색하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 소비자들은 제품유형별로 각기 다른 기준을 이용하여 평가를 하는 것으로 나타났는데, 실용재의 경우에는 평가기준으로 실용속성을 좀 더 사용하며 쾌락재의 경우에는 쾌락속성을 좀 더 이용하는 것으로 나타났다 둘째, 속성정보 유형에 따라 유발되는 사고유형이 다른 것으로 나타났는데 실용속성 정보는 이성적 사고를 유발하는 반면, 쾌락속성 정보는 경험적 사고를 유발하는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 실용재를 실용속성으로 평가할 경우 이성적 사고가 제품에 대한 평가를 높게 하며, 쾌락재를 쾌락속성으로 평가할 경우 경험적 사고가 제품에 대한 평가를 높게 하는 것으로 나타났다.
The purposes of this study is to investigate the attitudes and value of fashion product description and consumer replies used in online shopping malls, and to examine the differences in the perceived reliability(objectivity, expertise, trustworthiness) preference and purchase intention toward the product as determined by the appeal type (evaluation-sentimental vs. factual-information) of the product description, the direction(negative vs. positive) and type(factual vs. evaluative) of consumer replies for the product in online shopping malls. Data was collected from female college students with fashion products purchase experience at online shopping malls by questionnaire survey (N=424) and analyzed by using frequency analysis, t-test and ANOVA. Results showed that consumers respondents tended to read product description and other consumer replies before purchasing, when shopping for fashion products through an on-line shopping mall. They thought that sellers' product description and the consumers' replies were helpful in making their decision; but, they were also skeptical about product description. Respondents showed higher perceived reliability, preference and purchase intention to the factual-information type product description than the evaluation-sentimental type. Positive consumer replies were more effective in yielding higher preferences and purchase intentions. Factual replies tend to yield higher reliability than evaluative replies.
본 연구에서는 사용하는 제품의 유형에 따라 표출되는 감성어휘에 차이가 있는지 알아보기 위하여 휴대폰 및 웹을 사용하는 도중에 표출되는 사용자의 감성을 측정하기에 적합한 감성어휘들을 추출하여 비교해 보았다. 본 연구의 결과를 종합해 보면, 휴대폰과 같이 하드웨어적인 특성이 강하고 사용자가 어떤 특정한 목적을 가지고 사용하는 상황이 많은 제품에 대해서는 사용상황 및 태스크 수행에 직접적으로 관련된 '사용적 만족성'과 '유쾌성' 등에 관련된 감성어휘가 많이 추출되었고, 제품의 외관이나 다양한 시각정보에 의해 표출된 '심미성'과 참신하고 새로운 것에 의해 표출된 '신규성'에 관련된 감성어휘는 다수가 제외되었음을 발견할 수 있었다. 반면에 웹과 같이 소프트웨어적인 특성이 강하고 사용자들이 특정한 목적의 태스크를 수행해야 하는 상황보다는 뭔가 새로운 정보를 찾거나 보다 우수한 것을 찾기 위하여 사용하는 제품의 경우에는 '신규성'과 같이 직접적인 사용에 관련된 것보다는 시각적이고 새로운 정보에 관련된 감성어휘가 많이 추출됨을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과는 해당 제품의 특성과 사용목적에 적합한 감성어휘를 중심으로 제품의 유형에 따라 구분하여 각각의 제품에 적합한 주관적 평가스케일을 도출하는 것이 바람직하다는 것을 반증해 준다고 할 수 있다.
Purpose - Current study aimed at investigating the effects of the choice easiness as a thought triggered at the time of making decision and the goal achievement emotion as a prediction of how consumers feel in the state of achieving consumption goal on brand purchase intention. And It also explored moderation role of incidental pride type such as ambient hubris pride and ambient authentic pride felt before the event in the effects of message type such as self-verifying message and self-enhancing message on the choice easiness and the goal achievement emotion.
Research design, data, and methodology - Message type was divided into self-verifying message and self-enhancing message. Incidental pride type was divided into hubris and authentic pride. Smart mobile phone was selected for empirical study. And the experiment was performed with 2(pride type: hubristic versus authentic) × 2(message type: self-verifying message versus self-enhancing message) between-subjects design. Questionnaires from 215 undergraduate students were used to test hypotheses by Macro process model 7. The hypotheses were tested at each of self-verifying message group and self-enhancing message group.
Results - First, both choice easiness and goal achievement emotion positively influenced on the purchase intention at both self-verifying message group and self-enhancing message group. Second, at self-verifying message group, the positive effects of self verification on both choice easiness and goal achievement emotion were higher to the customers under incidental hubris pride than to those under incidental authentic pride customers. Third, at self-enhancing message group, the positive effects of self enhancement on goal achievement emotion were higher to the customers under incidental authentic pride than to those under incidental hubris pride. However, at self-enhancing message group, the positive effects of self enhancement on choice easiness (goal achievement emotion) were not higher (higher) to the customers under incidental authentic pride than to those under incidental hubris pride.
Conclusions - Focusing on the results of this study, to promote their brand purchase intention, brand managers should use self-enhancing message to induce goal achievement emotion from incidental authentic pride customers. And the brand managers should develop and use self-verifying message to induce choice easiness as well as goal achievement emotion from hubris pride customers, which in turn, promote their brand purchase intention.
