        An Automatic feed mechanism is one of the most important systems that make up the air defence gun. The System which consists of consecutive mechanisms from a magazine to the breech of automatic machine gun(Dual) carries ammunitions through the feeding pass with a high speed by the electric boosters to synchronize with gun firing speed. In order to feed the rounds smoothly without jamming, it is necessary to optimize the design of the driving torque needed to carry them and to get a proper distribution of power between rounds after performing mathematical calculation. In this study, in order to predict and prevent malfunctions of feeding and unloading ammunition, we have developed an optimal computational model using CATIA and multi-body dynamics software, ADAMS.

        본 논문에서는 선박의 안전운항을 위하여 안개 발생 시 엔진을 자동으로 제어하여 피해를 최소화하거나 회피할 수 있도록 자동 제어 시스템을 설계 및 제작 하였다. 제작된 동력 자동제어시스템은 ATmega128과 RPM감지회로를 사용하여 안개발생부에서 인위적으로 안개를 발생시켜 RPM의 변화량을 측정하였다. 이를 위하여 전체구성도를 작성하였으며 홀센서가 있는 모터를 사용하여 PWM 제어를 하 도록 ATmega128에 Source code를 적용시켰다. 추후, 제작된 동력 자동제어장치를 통하여 실제 선박에서의 실험 및 안전성평가를 마련할 계 획이다.

        접수 및 대목 줄기의 회전 절단으로 인한 접목 불량 발생 가능성에 대한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 수학적 분석 및 고속카메라를 이용하여 실측한 결과 칼날 회전 반경 50mm이고 줄기직경이 5mm 일 때, 깊이는 0.11mm 인 것으로 계산되어 줄기부 곡면 절단에 따른 문제는 없을 것으로 사료된다. 또한 접목시스템에서 모종 줄기를 잡는 그립퍼의 최적 형상 설계를 위하여 실시한 모종 줄기 압축시험 결과 대목의 경우 0.8mm 이상, 접수의 경우 0.6mm 이상의 범위에서 줄기부를 압축 할 경우 이전 형상으로 완전히 복원되지 않는 것으로 조사되어 그립퍼 형상 설계 시 그럼퍼 간격 결정에서 고려해야 할 것으로 사료된다. 또한 접목시기인 토마토 모종의 경우 줄기의 휨이 평균 10도 전후 인 것으로 조사되어 접목불량이 발생할 가능성이 있으므로 이를 개선하기 위한 추가 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다. 최적핑거 형상 시험에서는 모서리핑거 형상이 핑거간 거리 조정을 통해 정확한 중앙점을 잡을 수 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 핑거 간 거리는 접수와 대목에 대해 각각 2.5mm와 3.0mm로 설정하고 신축성 있는 재질을 이용하여 1mm 두께로 코팅을 하면 대부분의 모종 줄기를 상처없이 파지 할 수 있을 것으로 조사되었다.

        In order to secure competitiveness of companies in the semiconductor industry, state management of equipment is one of the most important key factors. Particularly, after carrying out preventive maintenance (PM) work to maintain the best equipment condition, process reliability inspection is carried out. This work must be performed manually by the intervention of the operator. This inspection work is becoming more and more difficult due to the difficulty of the manufacturing worker, the increase of the simple repetitive workload, and the increase of the inspection items for the engineer, as the condition and the procedure continuously change as the semiconductor scaling down. Therefore, we would like to carry out an empirical study on the construction of an automatic inspection system in order to carry out the more reliable and efficient inspection procedure by eliminating the problems and unreasonableness of the past based on the investigation and analysis of the work procedures and conditions of the existing manual method.

        A new design concept for integrated thermal energy storage system is suggested to increase energy saving rate for heating and cooling system of the closed glass greenhouse. Heat pump of air source is installed in the mechanical room and air flows then controlled by damper system located between the greenhouse and outdoor environments. A damper control algorithm is designed to enhance the usage of excessive energy in the glass greenhouse. Since the proposed system is installed at the actual glass greenhouse site for experimental verification of energy savings, the proposed system with damper control is compared with conventional greenhouse heating and cooling system. From results, it is found that more than 10% increase of energy saving rate is achieved.

Automatic continuous manufacturing system is necessary to raise the productivity and strengthen the competitiveness in the phosphor bronze wire manufacturing. For this purpose, the authors carrying out the design and production of devices such as raw material supply, drawing, heat treatment, winding and main control system, etc. As a result, we could product the 0.35mm of phosphor bronze wire with continuous processes.

        The purpose of this study is to develop the automatic water wank for rural living water with a built-in filter device. For this purpose, the author carrying out the design and production of devices such as a stacked plate filter, automatic water tank and water purification equipment, main control system and solenoid valve, solar cell, battery, water gauge, flowmeter and pump, etc. As a result, the author obtained very good results which satisfy all the research and development objectives planned. In addition, the water quality test results received, it is determined that the water is suitable for rural living water standards of the developed prototype.

        The research on improvement of false alarm from the automatic fire detection system has been continually achieved in the meantime. But the research for the code-transmitter as one of component devices of the automatic fire detection system. In order to improve difficulty of the code-transmitter check-up, introduction for the address type-code-transmitter and the automatic recovery system for check up of the code-transmitter was proposed. In order to prevent against occurrence of noise and signal attenuation, introduction of the optical fiber cables that noise and signal attenuation do not occur and introduction for an optical communication relay that can apply to was proposed respectively.

        The e-CALLISTO is a network of CALLISTO (Compact Astronomical Low-frequency, Low-cost Instrument for Spectroscopy in Transportable Observatories) spectrometers which detect solar radio bursts 24 hours a day in frequency range 45-870 MHz. The number of channels per spectrum is 200 and the time resolution of whole spectrum is 0.25 second. The Korean e-CALLISTO station was developed by Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI) collaborating with Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich) since 2007. In this paper, we report replacement of the tracking mount and development of the control program using Visual C++/MFC. The program can make the tracking mount track the Sun and schedule CALLISTO to start and to finish its observation automatically using the Solar Position Algorithm (SPA). Daily tracking errors (RMSE) are 0.0028 degree in azimuthal axis and 0.0019 degree in elevational axis between 2014 January and 2015 July. We expect that the program can save time and labor to make the observations of solar activity for space weather monitoring, and improve CALLISTO data quality due to the stable and precise tracking methods.

        The goals of automatic fire detection equipment in Japan and South Korea are the detection in early fire stage, alarm and finding the location of the fire. Japan also has similar operation system and signal transmission method compared with South Korea. The standards of fire detection equipment in Japan are established their own standards. The automatic fire detection equipment in Korea has been developed with benchmarking the Japanese system in early 1950’s and follows the decree on the basis of Japan’s fire services. NFPA 72, which is automatic fire detection equipment in U.S.A. and verified through the experiment and test, expects to reflect to our automatic fire detection equipment after modification and supplement.

        The functional wood plastic composite(WPC) is one of the noted materials for landscape architecture and residential construction. Iron band, embossing and drain holes are improve the strength and skid resistance of the WPC. In this study, we had developed an automatic manufacturing system for the functional WPC that has vertical pattern embossing and drain holes. The system is consist of an automatic vertical pattern embossing device, multi-spindle drilling M/C, sanding device, inspection equipment, and some facilities developed in the previous research. The performance tests on the several functional items of the system and manufactured WPC represented satisfactory values except the skid resistance and absorption thickness expansion rate.

        Multi-layered metal sheet for electromagnetic interference(EMI) shielding purpose has been designed using metal sheet, PET & DST stacking and laminating technology. Also, an automatic manufacturing system is developed. This metal sheet with multi-layered structure is an effective shield against EMI that can not shield completely by single metal sheet. And the developed automatic manufacturing system can stack and lamination thin metal sheets without any wrinkles.

        In this study, we have developed an automatic manufacturing system for functional wood plastic composites(WPC) which are one of spotlighting materials for landscape architecture and residential construction material. In addition to the existing facilities, this manufacturing system is consist of an automatic hole manufacturing device, iron band supply and winding device, mold with the iron band insert system, calibration unit, control system, etc. We have performed the performance tests for the system such as the specific gravity, bending strength, screw holding power, percentage of moisture content, formaldehyde, absorption thickness, expansion rate, cold resistance(appearance & bending strength), and shock resistance. As a result, the performance of the prototype system satisfies all the objects of this study.
