In this study, project information of government-funded research institute in the food field was collected and analyzed to systematically identify the factors affecting the process of transferring technological achievements of public research institute to the private sector. This study hypothesized that human resources, financial resources, and technological characteristics as input factors of R&D projects affect output factors, such as research papers or patents produced by R&D projects. Moreover, these outputs would serve as drivers of the technology transfer as one of the R&D outcomes. Linear Regression Analysis and Poisson Regression Analysis were conducted to empirically and sequentially investigate the relationship between input factors and output and outcome of R&D projects and the results are as follows: First, the principle investigator's career and participating researcher's size as human resource factors have an influence on both the number of SCI (science citation index) papers and patent registration. Second, the research duration and research expenses for the current year have an influence on the number of SCI papers and patent registrations, which are the main outputs of R&D projects. Third, the technology life cycle affects the number of SCI papers and patent registrations. Lastly, the higher the number of SCI papers and patent registrations, the more it affected the number of technology transfers and the amount of technology transfer contract.

Customer loyalty is tested every day in the retail sector and the past years have been challenging for retailers to keep their existing, loyal customers. Covid-19 outbreak caused significant changes in consumers’ purchasing behavior because during the pandemic, consumers were forced to adapt new patterns of shopping which is likely to reflect also in customer loyalty. To better understand the temporal development of customer loyalty, we investigate how cognitive, affective, and social drivers of loyalty differ between 10,044 Trustpilot reviews before, during and after the Covid-19 pandemic. We investigate customer loyalty in the retail sector using an objective and a novel approach; thus we based this study on user-generated content in the form of online reviews in contrast to the traditional survey-based measures of customer loyalty.

As online reviews become a major factor in the consumer decision making process, firms have started seeking ways to help consumers make informed decisions. To avoid potential information overload, most online retailers provide review helpfulness features by allowing consumers to cast a vote on the (un)helpfulness of a review. Previous research has extensively focused on identifying the drivers of review helpfulness while little attention has been paid to review unhelpfulness. Using an empirical analysis of a large review dataset from a major online retailer, this research investigates the drivers of both review helpfulness and unhelpfulness. By revealing the asymmetry between the consumers’ review helpfulness and unhelpfulness voting behaviors, this study provides practical implications for review platforms.

Fear of missing out (FoMO) is an emotional, psychological, intellectual, and physical feeling of deprivation or exclusion from an event. This paper aims at finding key factors and sub-factors responsible for FoMO among social media users. The survey data for conducting factor analyses and structural equation modeling (SEM) was collected from heavy and moderate users of social media. It analysed the role of gratification, popularity, and acceptance in social media users in the FoMO phenomenon. The factor analyses gave the final construct impacting FoMO. The study highlighted the agenda for future researchers in the given domain.

Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations have become increasingly important for firms' sustainability. Mandates for ESG information disclosure have been implemented in over 25 countries, including the EU, Australia, and China (Krueger et al., 2021). However, little attention has been paid to the drivers and mechanisms of ESG, which remain unclear. The existing literature has mainly focused on the consequences of ESG which shows mixed results and paid little attention to the drivers of ESG (Paolone et al., 2021). The majority of prior research suggests that ESG activities positively affect firms' financial performance (Nekhili et al., 2019). On the other hand, some researchers show a significant and negative relationship between ESG performance and a firm's financial performance (Duque-Grisales and Aguilera-Caracuel, 2021). To fill the research gap, this study attempts to identify 1) firms' internal and external factors that lead to ESG performance as drivers of ESG, and 2) firm performance as the consequences of ESG. The study found that environmental innovation activities, ESG committees, external audits, and ESG compensations related to environmental innovation could be drivers of ESG application and performance, leading to better firm performance. Moreover, the findings indicate that ESG performance positively affects firms' financial and non-financial performance. Understanding the adoption of ESG is crucial for firms since ESG requires a long-term perspective. This study contributes to the literature on ESG and firm sustainability and suggests new directions for managers to implement ESG in their business model. Especially, this study argues that taking a carrot-and-stick approach could lead to better ESG performance and firm performance. Therefore, managers might consider internal policies to encourage ESG that can lead to better firm performance.

Improvisation is an important firm competence in product innovation as firms increasingly face inherent uncertainty in new product development (NPD) process and frequent jolts in the external environment. While there is some empirical and conceptual work on the value of improvisation for several new product outcomes, there is lack of empirical research on the antecedents of improvisation in innovation studies. We attempt to address this gap by studying the role of team variation and team convergence traits in the occurrence of improvisation in a sample of 118 NPD teams from manufacturing firms.

목적 : 본 연구는 현재 운전 여부가 운전면허를 취득한 지 만 2년 미만인 자의 운전관련 인지・지각능력에 미치 는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 20대 초보운전자 26명을 대상으로 일반적 특성, 운전현황 및 Cognitive perceptual assessment for driving (CPAD)를 이용한 운전능력관련 인지・지각능력검사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계량과 독립 t-검정을 적용하여 분석하였다. 결과 : 분석결과 연구대상자들은 CPAD점수가 합격군에 해당되었으나, 스트룹검사에서 가장 낮은 점수를 보여주 었다. 현재 운전을 하고 있는 집단과 운전을 하지 않는 집단을 비교분석 한 결과, 운전하는 집단은 깊이지각의 반응시간이 가장 높았고, 운전하지 않는 집단은 숫자외우기가 가장 높았다. 또한 깊이지각 검사에서 운전하는 집단의 반응시간이 빠른 것으로 나타나 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다(p<.05). 반면에 전반적인 운전능력관련 인지・지각능력에서는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 결론 : 초보운전자들은 억제 조절능력이 다른 운전관련 능력에 비해 떨어지며, 운전여부에 따라 거리조절에 대한 반응속도의 차이를 나타냈다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로, 초보운전자를 대상으로 하는 운전능력관련 인지・지각능 력의 평가 및 훈련과정 개발을 제언하는 바이다.

목적 : 본 연구는 미국의 조건부 운전면허 관련 상세 운영 현황을 알아보고, 분석한 결과를 바탕으로 고령운전자 안전운전 을 위한 국내 조건부 운전면허 도입 시 참고가 될 수 있는 기초자료를 마련하고자 하였다. 또한, 운전재활전문가로서 작 업치료사의 조건부 운전면허에 대한 관심을 제고시키고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 미국자동차협회 교통안전재단(AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety)의 자료를 참고하여 미국의 고령운전자 사고율이 25% 이상에 해당하는 상위 4개 주인 켄터키, 미시시피, 몬태나, 와이오밍 주의 고령운전자 조건부 운전면허 관 련 현황을 정리하였다. 결과 : 본 연구에서는 미국 4개 주의 고령운전자의 운전면허 갱신, 고령운전자 조건부 운전면허 실시 및 제한 방법, 고령 운전자 조건부 운전면허 결정 판단 주체, 지역 현지 심사관(Local examiner)의 고령운전자 조건부 운전면허 결정과 관 련된 현황을 주로 파악해보았다. 조건부 운전면허 제한 유형으로는 고속도로 접근 제한과 거리 제한, 차량 장비 등이 있 었고 각 주의 공통적인 부분으로는 주간이나 낮에만 운전할 수 있도록 야간운전 제한 및 속도를 제한하고 있음을 파악하 였다. 결론 : 본 연구는 미국 4개 주의 고령운전자 조건부 운전면허제도 관련 현황 분석을 통해 우리나라 고령운전자 조건부 운 전면허제도 도입 시 참고 가능한 자료임에 의의가 있다. 앞으로 우리나라 고령운전자를 위한 국내 환경에 맞는 조건부 운전면허제도 도입과 관련된 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

PURPOSES : In this study, the main factors affecting the severity of traffic accidents among elderly drivers were reviewed, and accident factors with a high accident risk were analyzed. This provided basic data for preparing a traffic safety system for elderly drivers and establishing policies. METHODS : Based on machine learning, the major factors influencing accident severity (from the analysis of traffic accident data for elderly drivers) were analyzed and compared with existing statistical analysis results. The machine learning algorithm used the Scikit-learn library and Python 3.8. A hyperparameter optimization process was performed to improve the safety and accuracy of the model. To establish the optimal state of the model, the hyperparameters were set (K = 5) using K-fold cross-validation. The hyperparameter search applied the most widely utilized grid search method, and the performance evaluation derived the optimal hyperparameter value using neutral squared error indicators. RESULTS : The traffic laws, road sections of traffic accidents, and time zones of accidents were analyzed for accidents involving elderly drivers in Daejeon Metropolitan City, and the importance of the variables was examined. For the analysis, a linear regression model, machine learning-based decision tree, and random forest model were used, and based on the root mean square error, the random forest accuracy performance was found to be the best. Ultimately, 18 variables were analyzed, including traffic violations, accident time zones, and road types. The variables influencing the accident severity were the speed, signal violation, intersection section, late-night driving, and pedestrian protection violation, with the relative importance of the variables in the order of speed (0.3490966), signal violation (0.285967), and late-night driving (0.173108). These can be seen as variables related to the expansion of life damage owing to physical aging and reduced judgment abilities arising from decreases in cognitive function. CONCLUSIONS : Restricting the driving of the elderly on the expressway and at night is reasonable, but specific standards for driving restrictions should be prepared based on individual driving capabilities.

한국은 2021년 10월 페루의 수도 리마에 한-페루 디지털정부 협력센터를 설립함으로써 한국형 디지털정부의 경험을 전수하게됨과 동시에 페루와의 심도깊은 디지털 협력 체계를 구축하게 되었다. 본 연구는 한국의 대(對)페루 디지털정부 협력을 추동하는 요인을 제시하는 것을 주요 목적으로 한다. 우리나라 대외 원조의 결정 요인에 대한 기존의 문헌들은 공여국의 경제적 이익에 크게 초점을 맞추고 있다. 따라서 이전의 연구들은 정치적 관점에서 페루와 한국의 디지털 정부 협력을 설명하기 위한 적절한 분석 체계를 제공하지 못했다. 이러한 격차를 해소하기 위해, 본 연구는 국제관계학의 분석 수준(levels of analysis) 분석 틀을 활용함으로써 양국 간의 디지털 협력을 이끈 주요 정치적 동인을 검토한다. 본고는 국제적인 차원에서 한국을 디지털 정부 협력의 가장 좋은 파트너로 여기는 페루의 인식과 디지털 분야의 리더로서의 위상을 공고화함으로써 연성권력을 제고하는데 대한 한국의 적극적 관심이 교차점을 만들었다고 주장한다. 국내적으로는 디지털정부 추진 및 ODA 중점협력국의 전략적 선정 등 디지털정부와 관련된 국내의 정치사회적 동학을 양국간 디지털정부 협력을 이끈 주요 관련 요소로 간주할 수 있다.

The purpose of this research was to examine the preferences of five traditional Korean drinks and analyze the factors affecting the preferences of children aged 7-12 in Korea, Vietnam, and China. The samples used in a sensory test were omija-cha, yuza-cha, sujeonggwa, sikhye and misutgaru. The test was performed to examine the overall, appearance (color), odor, taste and mouth-feeling and a sweetness intensity using 5 point hedonic scale (1=dislike extremely, 5=like extremely) and, check-all-that-apply (CATA) method was performed to determine preference and non-preferences factors. The preference of all samples except sujeonggwa showed significant differences in all items of the preferences (p<0.001). Almost items of the preference was rated more than 4 points in Chinese and Korea children. The sweetness intensity showed also significant differences in all items of the preferences except sujeonggwa (p<0.001), and evaluated as not sweetappropriate with the score between 2 and 3 points. Sweetness, color, mouth-feeling, familiar flavor and healthy feeling was selected for the factors affecting the preferences. In conclusion, the result of this study determine the preferences and the affecting factors for the traditional Korean drinks in children of Korea, Vietnam, and China.

This study analyzed the relationship between the community structure of benthic macroinvertebrates and habitat changes in open estuaries among the sites included in the national estuary monitoring program. The estuary survey was conducted under the “Guidelines for Investigation and Evaluation of Biometric Networks” and classified by sea area, 80 places in the East Sea, 102 places in the South Sea, and 19 places in the West Sea were investigated. In a total of 201 open estuaries, benthic macroinvertebrates were identified with 4 phyla, 9 classes, 41 orders, 139 families, 269 species and 196 species in the East Sea, 182 species in the South Sea, and 90 species in the West Sea. The highest population densities were Insecta in the East Sea, the Malacostraca in the South Sea, and the Annelida in the West Sea. Through SIMPER analysis, species contributing to the similarity of benthic macroinvertebrates communities in each sea area were identified. Some species greatly influenced the similarity of clusters. The benthic community in the East Sea was affected by the salinity, so the contribution rate of freshwater species was high. On the other hand, the benthic communities of the South and West Seas showed species compositions are influenced by the substrate composition. As results, the benthic macroinvertebrate community in Korean estuaries was impacted by salinity and substrate simultaneously, and the close relationship with geographical distance was not observed. The result of this study is expected to be used to respond to environmental changes by identifying and predicting changes in the diversity and distribution of benthic macroinvertebrates in Korea estuaries.

The continuous development of in-vehicle information systems in recent years has dramatically enriched drivers’ driving experience while occupying their cognitive resources to varying degrees, causing driving distraction. Under this complex information system, managing the complexity and priority of information and further improvement in driving safety has become a key issue that needs to be urgently solved by the in-vehicle information system. The new interactive methods incorporating the augmented reality (AR) and head-up display (HUD) technologies into in-vehicle information systems are currently receiving widespread attention. This superimposes various onboard information into an actual driving scene, thereby meeting the needs of complex tasks and improving driving safety. Based on the qualitative research methods of surveys and telephone interviews, this study collects the information needs of the target user groups (i.e., beginners and skilled drivers) and constructs a three-mode information database to provide the basis for a customized AR-HUD interface design.

The　possibility of developing musculoskeletal disorders increases with the length of service of the worker. Musculoskeletal disorders can occur when performing repetitive and forceful movements. Therefore, Cargo drivers operate repeatedly in the wrong posture for a long time. When loading and unloading a cargo, the cargo driver works repeatedly with force. Cargo operators are also exposed to musculoskeletal disorders in the working environment due to poor posture and repetitive movements. In this study, we are going to conduct a study on the level of awareness and prevention of the possibility of musculoskeletal disorders in cargo drivers for long periods of time. As a result of the study, the factors that cause musculoskeletal disorders in each group can occur during the long-term operation and preparation of drivers.

목적 : 본 연구는 노인의 운전적합성을 판별하는 한국형 노인 자가운전 평가도구(K-Drivers 65 plus)를 이용하여 위험운전에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보고자 한다. 연구방법 : 65세 이상 노인 운전자 157명을 대상으로 K-Drivers 65 Plus 평가를 실시하고 15개 문항에 대한 응답을 5개 요인으로 구분하였으며, 위험운전에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 파악하기 위해 상관관계분석과 다중회귀분석 을 이용하여 분석하였다. 결과 : 그 결과 ‘교통상황’과 ‘건강우려’요인 간에 강한 부적 상관관계가 확인되었으며(r=-.357, p<.05), 5개 요인 (교통상황, 건강우려, 노력, 안전, 위반·사고) 중 4개의 요인(교통상황, 노력, 안전, 위반·사고)이 운전 위험에 영향 을 미쳤고, 그중에서‘교통상황’이 가장 큰 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다(β=.562, p<0.01). 결론 : 노인 운전자는 특정 교통 상황에서 운전이 어려운 것으로 확인되었지만, 외부 조건 만 만족하면 안전하게 운전할 수 있다고 판단하여 운전 능력을 높이 평가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 향후 자가운전평가를 통해 자율 면허 반납을 활성화하고, 운전을 계속하고자 하는 노인들을 위해서 안전 운전범위 및 안전 운전경로 정보제공 또는 다양한 교통상황에서의 대처 방안 교육이 마련되어야 할 것이다.

환경 오염과 지구 온난화의 위협이 구체적으로 모습을 드러내는 가운데 사회 전반적으로 녹색 경영의 중요성이 과거 어느 때보다 부각되고 있다. 이러한 현실 흐름을 반영하여 녹색 경영을 실행하는 기업들이 최근 들어 점점 증가하고 있다. 녹색 경영에 관한 기존 연구들에서는 녹색 경영의 의의와 중요성, 녹색 경영의 성과, 그리고 녹색 경영에 대한 영향 요인에 관하여 다루어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 녹색 경영 실행에 영향을 미치는 기업 내부의 촉진 동인에 관하여 살펴보았다. 66개 중소 기업에 대한 통계 분석 결과, 외부 연계, R&D 역량, 그리고 조직 문화 모두 기업의 녹색 경영 실행에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 무엇보다도, 독립 변수들 가운데 조직 문화의 영향이 가장 두드러지는 것으로 파악되었다. 녹색 경영 요소들 간의 관계를 주로 살펴본 기존 연구들과 달리, 녹색 경영 실행에 대한 기업 본원적 요소의 영향에 관하여 살펴보았다는 점에서 본 논문은 의의가 적지 않다. 향후 연구에서는 더욱 다양한 기업 본원적 요소의 영향에 관하여 살펴볼 필요가 있을 것이다.
