        This paper examines the seismic performance and structural design of the ceiling bracket-type modular connection. The bracket-type system reduces the cross-sectional area loss of members and combines units using fitting steel plate, and it has been developed to be fit for medium-story and higher-story buildings. In particular, this study conducted the cyclic loading test for the performance of the C-type and L-type brackets, and compared the results. The test results were also compared with the commercial FEA program. In addition, the structural design process for the bracket-type modular connection was presented. The two connections, proposed as a result of the test results, were all found to secure the seismic performance level of the special moment steel frame. In the case of initial stiffness, the L-type bracket connection was found to be great, but in the case of the maximum moment or fully plastic moment, it was different depending on the loading direction.

        In this paper, seismic performance evaluation using 3D modeling of structural analysis was carried out to confirm and enhance the seismic performance of modular houses through the seismic performance evaluation scheme. Based on the results, the performance of structural members and joints in the modular house was investigated.

        This paper was conducted to evaluate structural performance of modular system connection with bracket. It was evaluated to two external connection specimens and two internal connection specimens. As a result of experiment, excessive shear deformation of the bracket was observed in all of the specimens. However, all of the specimens satisfied the requirement for intermediate moment frames (IMF) targeted in the experiment.

        In this paper, structural behavior of internal and external connection of modular system was evaluated by finite element analysis(FEA). As a result of FEA, results of experiment and analysis were nearly similar to validate analysis model. Parametric analysis will be necessary using this valid analysis model

        The purpose of this study was to experimentally evaluate seismic performance of connection of modular system. As a result of experiment study, two specimens did not show the strength reduction and brittle fracture at connection until 2% story drift. Thus, requirements for intermediate moment frame(IMF) was satisfied in two specimens.

        최근 구조물의 노후화에 따른 급속 교체, 교통 영향 및 환경 영향 최소화의 요구에 따라 프리캐스트 기술을 활용한 모듈러 교량 연구가활발하게 진행중에 있다. 본 연구는 모듈러 교량과 관련된 연구의 일환으로 모듈러 슬래브 교량의 횡방향 연결부를 대상으로 반복하중 재하 실험을 통하여 횡방향 연결부의 반복 하중에 따른 구조적 거동 특성을 파악하고 사용성 평가하였다. 반복하중의 크기를 결정하기 위하여 RC 보를 1개 제작하였으며 반복하중 재하 실험을 위하여 일체형 RC 보 1개와 분절형 실험체 3개를 제작하였다. 실험결과, 분절형 실험체는 하중 반복 횟수가 증가함에 따라 처짐 및 균열폭이 거의 일정하거나 수렴하는 경향을 나타냈으며, 일체형 RC 보와 비교하여 최대처짐, 잔류처짐, 균열폭 모두 작게 나타났다. 또한 사용하중을 반복 재하한 실험체의 경우, 처짐 및 균열에 대한 사용성 기준을 모두 만족하였다.

        In this study, a new type of the embedded column connection was proposed, and its flexural behavior was evaluated through a series of experimental study. Four full scale specimens for the proposed connections were constructed and tested. From the results, it was found that the flexural stiffness of the proposed connection was higher than that of the semi-rigid connection for all test specimens, and 200mm of embedment length was proper for the given test specimens in this study.

        The performance of the connection in precast members that were made by accelerated construction was performed. In result, behavior of INT-1 and SEG-1 specimens was different. Therefore, in thin study, design of concrete in Korea and experiment result were compared to verify behavior of SEG-1.

        This paper is a aim to develop a connection modular-to-foundation that can be adapted using steel-frame middle & high-rise of the modular units. Analysis results, embedded column length is somewhat greater stiffness and strength were highly appreciated. Reduced embedded length even if the length of the base is not a problem for ensuring highly fixed.

        This paper presents a study of the numerical analysis of bracing connection in modular pier system using Concrete Filled Tube members. To evaluate the structural capacity of bracing connection, which have various shapes, numerical analysis is performed. For the optimal shape of bracing connection, the shape and size of gusset plate are evaluated by using analysis results.

        The object of this study is to evaluate static behavior of transverse connection of slab-type modular bridge. Especially, this paper focus on evaluation that shear key and tendon force affect bending strength of transverse connection of slab-type modules. We compared and examined the bending performance of connection through a structural test (4-point bending test). This experimental results show that bending strength of transverse connection of slab-type modules are influenced a number of shear key and amounts of tendon force. So in order to apply to modular construction, it is necessary to research in connection of slab-type modules.

        The objective of this study is to evaluate fatigue behavior of transverse connection of girder-type modular bridge. In order to evaluate fatigue behavior, a integral specimens and one segmental specimens were applied fatigue load ranging between 10% and 60% maximum static load with 200000 cycles. In order to test the serviceability, another segmental specimens was applied a fatigue load ranging between 10% and 100% service load with 2 million cycles. The results showed that the segmental specimens had enough safety and serviceability under fatigue load.

        This paper presents the results of researches to developing the precast modular bridges. Procedures to decide types of bridges, results of the optimizations to minimize the cross sectional areas, concepts of joints between modules, and the results of the experimental tests to evaluate the performance of joints are presented in this paper. It is expected that the precast modular bridges may be the effective alternatives to rapidly replace deteriorated bridges and damaged bridges by disasters.

        최근 교량의 건설에서는 공사기간의 단축 등을 위해 조립식 형태의 교량 시공이 연구되고 있다. 하지만 이는 대부분이 주 구조물인 교각, 거더와 바닥판 등에 국한되어 있고, 조립식 교량에 적합한 방호울타리와 같은 부대시설에 대한 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 조립식 교량 적용을 위한 콘크리트 방호울타리 연결 시스템을 제안하고, 제안된 시스템의 구조적 성능을 검증하기 위하여 정적 실험을 수행 하였다. 변수는 볼트의 수직 수평 접합방식으로 기준실험체와의 비교를 통해 조립식 교량에 적합한 콘크리트 방호 울타리 연결시스템을 제안하고자 하였다. 그 결과, 볼트의 수직접합이 구조적 성능 및 건전성이 일체형의 기준실험체와 거의 동일하다는 것을 알 수 있었고, 조립식교량 적용을 위한 연결시스템으로 적당하다고 판단된다.

        최근 교량의 신설 및 교체 공사 중 요구되고 있는 교통 혼잡의 최소화, 환경 영향의 최소화, 공사기간의 단축, 품질과 시공성 향상 등을 위해 조립식 교량 시스템의 적용이 시대적 요구로 대두되고 있다. 조립식 교량 시공 중 거더 간의 연결 시 발생할 수 있는 전도 및 추락 사고는 교량 시스템에 적합한 가로보의 사용으로 해결이 가능할 것으로 보여 진다. 본 연구에서는 가로보의 구조적 특성을 조사하고 국내 외 적용현황을 분석하여 조립식 PSC T형 거더 교량에 접합한 가로보 대안을 설정하여 가로보 연결부의 특성을 규명하고자 실험체를 제작하여 정적 하중 재하실험을 실시하였다. 정적 하중 실험을 통하여 실험체의 접합부의 거동과 하중분배에 대해 살피고 실험결과를 비교, 분석하였고 실험을 통한 구조 성능의 결과 치, 시공성을 고려하여 조립식 PSC T형 거더 교량에 접합한 가로보 대안을 제안 하였다.
