본 연구는 경로당을 이용하는 노인들을 대상으로 ICT기반 치매예방 통합프로그램을 적용하여 활력, 치매두려움 및 치매예방행위에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 시도되었다. 프로그램 구성은 주 2회, 6주, 회기당 30분 분량으로 총 12회차이며 단일군 전후 실험설계이다. 자료분석은 기술통계, Paired t-test, Pearson's correlation coefficient를 이용하였다. ICT기반 치매예방 통합프로그램은 경로당 노인의 활력과 치매예방행위를 증가시키고, 치매두려움은 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 ICT기반 치매예방 통합프로그램을 경로당 이용노인의 치매예방를 위해 실무현장에서 활용할 것을 권장한다.

본 연구에서는 가로수로 식재 한 메타세쿼이아 214본을 대상으로 시각적 활력 평가와 형성층전기저항계(JunsMeter) 측정 결과를 비교하였다. 시각적 활력 평가로 경북 예천군에서는 모든 활력 단계를 관찰하였고, 상주시에서는 ‘매우 양호’와 ‘양호’ 단계만 나타났다. JunsMeter의 측정 평균값은 예천(75.48)보다 상주(86.99)에서 높았다(P=0.01). 방위별 JunsMeter 측정에서는 예천군의 서쪽(71.29)에서 가장 낮았다. 예천과 상주에서 시각적 활력 평가로 구분한 3개 그룹과 JunsMeter 측정값과 일관되게 나타났다.

본 연구는 경남지역 내 주요공원(4곳)에 생존하고 있는 조경 수목의 수목활력도를 파악하여 수목보호 관리에 기초자료를 제공할 목적으로 실시하였다. 부산시민공원 내 관목류의 수목활력도는 불량, 활엽 교목, 침엽 교목은 모두 양호한 수준이었다. 다대포해변공원 내 관목류, 활엽 교목, 침엽 교목은 모두 양호한 수준이었다. 해운대나루공원 내 관목류는 양호한 수준이었으며, 활엽 교목, 침엽 교목은 매우 양호한 수준이었다. 밀양아리랑공원 내 관목류는 양호한 수준이었고, 활엽수 교목과 침엽수 교목은 매우 양호한 수준이었다. 수목별 수목활력도는 침엽수 교목이 가장 높았으며, 그다음으로 활엽수 교목, 관목류 순이었다. 4개의 공원에서 수목의 공원별 수목활력도의 평균이 가장 높은 순서는 해운대나루공원, 밀양아리랑공원, 다대포해변공원, 부산시민공원 순이었다. 계절별 수목활력도 변화는 계절별로 측정된 수목의 수목활력도에서 수목활력도가 가장 높은 순서는 밀양아리랑공원, 해운대나루공원, 부산시민공원과 다대포나루공원 순이었다. 계절별로 변화는 수목의 생장이 활기차게 시작되기 전 3월과 4월의 초봄이 가장 낮았고, 다음으로 가을철 9, 10, 11월이 낮았다. 여름철인 6, 7, 8월이 수목활력도가 높았는데, 가장 높은 시기는 8월이었다.

본 연구는 천연기념물로 지정된 소나무와 은행나무를 중심으로 수목활력도를 측정하고, 관리시설물에 따른 노거수의 수목활력도 차이를 규명하였다. 수목활력도 측정 결과 소나무의 전기저항 값은 평균 14.9㏀이고, 8.5~37.5㏀사이에 분포하며, 은행나무의 전기저항 값은 평균 13.5㏀로, 6.4㏀~40.5㏀사이에 분포하는 것으로 나타났다. 관리시설물 현황 조사 결과 소나무, 은행나무 모두 과반수 복토 및 석축이 이루어졌고, 특히 복토 여부에 따라 수목의 활력에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 소나무와 은행나무 모두 복토 된 수목의 형성층 전기저항 값이 복토되지 않은 수목보다 유의하게 높게 나타나 상대적인 생육상태가 불량한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 복토를 제거하는 방향으로 관리가 필요하며 천연기 념물로 지정된 노거수 외 지자체에서 관리하고 있는 보호수에 대한 관리방안 실태조사도 실시하여 전반적인 복토 제거 등 관리시설물 개선이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

노조의 위기극복방안 즉 활성화방안에 대한 논의가 많이 제시되고 있는 가운데, 신자유주의 세계화 속에서 노조의 지역조직이 중요한 역할을 담당해야 한다는 인식에 따라 본 논문은 노동조합 지역조직의 활성화노력에 관해 민주노총 부산지역본부를 중심으로 실태를 살펴보고 활성화방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구방법은 1차 자료를 이용한 문헌연구가 주된 것이며, 필자들의 경험을 외삽하였다. 노조활성화에 대한 제 논의를 노조효과성과 노조활성화차원을 중심으로 살펴보아 실태분석과 방안제시의 분석틀로서 활성화차원을 조직화, 연대ㆍ연합형성, 정치적 행위 및 재구조화로 정리하여 마련한 후 민주노총 부산지역본부의 경과와 현황을 일반적인 것과 설정한 사업목표와 과제를 살펴보고, 부산지역본부의 활성화 노력을 조직화, 연대ㆍ연합형성, 정치적 행위 및 재구조화라는 활성화차원별로 분석하여 살펴보았다. 결과로서 부산지역본부의 노조활성화 노력이 많았다고 할 수 없었으며 이에 따라 부산지역본부의 노조효과성도 대표성, 교섭력, 영향력 모두에서 낮아서, 부산지역노동운동의 침체가 심화되고 있음을 감안할 때, 부산지역본부의 노조활성화 노력이 절실하게 요구되는 실정임을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 점을 바탕으로, 구조적 한계와 필요한 전제조건을 고려하면서, 조직화, 연대ㆍ연합형성, 정치적 행위 및 재구조화라는 활성화 분석틀의 차원별로 부산지역본부의 활성화 방안을 제시하였다. 나아가 활성화전략들 중에서 부산지역본부는 조직화전략을 중심으로 추진해야 할 것을 제시하였다.

Vital pulpotomy is a very useful method for disarming of canine tooth, tooth fracture, periodontitis, and malocclusion in veterinary dentistry. Calcium hydroxide is the material commonly used as a liner during vital pulpotomy. This creates a mineralized barrier by stimulating osteoblastic hard tissue repair, arrests the inflammatory response, and soothes dentin. However, the powder or mix type calcium hydroxide materials have many disadvantages due to complicated procedures for use and are hard to handle when vital pulpotomy is followed under general anesthesia in animals. This study was conducted in order to compare the effect of mix and premixed paste type calcium hydroxide as a liner in vital pulpotomy. Six beagle dogs underwent hemisection on the mesial root of the mandibular first molar and vital pulpotomy on the distal root of the first molar. On the distal root of the left and right mandibular first molar, mix type (DYCAL®, Dentsply, USA) and premixed paste type calcium hydroxide (VITAPEX®, Morita, Japan) were used as liners, respectively. Radiological evaluation was performed at immediate, 4, 12, and 20 weeks after vital pulpotomy. According to the results, all teeth had well-formed dentinal bridges, and there were no periradicular lucency, lamina dura loss, or anomalies of the pulp cavity. According to these results, on vital pulpotomy in animals, premixed paste type calcium hydroxide was easy to handle and decreased the anesthesia period due to a more convenient application procedure. A further study of many clinical cases is needed for evaluation of side effects and other problems.

All architectures in the history have certain attitudes of aesthetic expression of their own. Depending on the culture, such aesthetic attitudes are not the same but different. This paper aims to identify the nature of the difference of aesthetic attitude in the architectures of the East and the West. As a way of approach for this purpose, two keywords are employed as representative concept. They are: 'proportion' and 'vitality'. Proportion, of course, represent the attitude of the Western, while, vitality, the Eastern. Although these two words are subjective selection, it is hoped that the nature of aesthetic attitudes could be observed through the windows of these two representative concepts. We all know that the architects and students of architecture of this period, are very much concerned about the aesthetic expression of their design. However, the value judgement of aesthetic quality seems quite confused in modem period. If the nature of aesthetic attitudes of the Eastern and the Western architecture is well understood, such understanding will help much for the direction of architectural aesthetic of future architecture.

The nature poems of G. M. Hopkins is generally characterized as a sensitive observation on the natural objects. But the most distinctive character of his poems is in its motion and trembling. It is related with his peculiar poetic concept ‘inscape’ and ‘instress.’ We can see too many proves of this moving in Hopkins’s poetry. In his nature poems, every tree, spring water and grass is alive. Even the cloud is described as a moving life force in his diary or poems. It is surprising to be able to see so many life forces in one poet’s poems. This life force is more distinguished in his poem “The Windhover” or other poems of animal. And its climax, we can see in his poem “Harry, the Ploughman.” In this poem we can see wonderful observation on the body of a strong farmer. He observed even the minute motion of muscles one by one and he seems to be glad to see this manly body. Hopkins has an inclination of the socialist and he liked more the labouring men than the cultured weak people. Another example is Tom in “Tom’s Garland” and the blacksmith in “Felix Randal.” This is in striking contrast to Yeats’s early nature poems which are considered as a dreamy poetic world. Yeats was too devoted to one woman’s love and his early poems are a kind of escape from this world. His nature is a retirement place from this world. Contrary to this, Hopkins’s nature is a life itself. For him the whole world and nature are a great and perfect work of God. And he caught its highest moment in its motion, that is inscape.

To compare the vitality among cool-season turfgrasses under summer weather conditions and to obtain information to improve the management of turfgrasses in golf courses and sports fields., the chlorophyll fluorescence of three cool-season turfgrasses commonly planted on golf courses in the Jeju area was measured. The turfgrasses were perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.), Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis L.), and creeping bentgrass (Agrostis palustris Huds.). In perennial ryegrass and Kentucky bluegrass, the chlorophyll index was low in early summer and high in late summer. In creeping bentgrass, it remained low throughout the study. Fo tended to be low in the early summer and high in late summer in the three turfgrasses. However, the difference in Fo between late summer and early summer was markedly higher in perennial ryegrass than in Kentucky bluegrass or creeping bentgrass. Fm tended to be low in early summer and high in late summer, without obvious differences among the three turfgrasses. Fv/Fm, a measure of photochemical efficiency, was also low in early summer and high in late summer in the three turfgrasses. However, Fv/Fm in late summer was mostly higher in Kentucky bluegrass and creeping bentgrass than in perennial ryegrass, indicating that the former are more resistant to the high temperature and humidity of late summer. Furthermore, Kentucky bluegrass had a high chlorophyll index in late summer and would be most resistant to the harsh conditions of late summer.

한약재 및 식용으로 사용되는 순비기나무, 번행초, 갯방풍의 재배 한계지역과 생리활성 성분의 효능은 다음과 같다. 1. 순비기나무, 갯방풍의 서해안 북방한계지역은 태안반도이며, 동해안 북방한계지역은 강원도 지역으로 확인되었고, 번행초의 서해안 북방한계지역은 전라남도이고 동해안 북방한계지역은 경상북도 울릉군 지역이었다. 2. 자생지가 해안 200 m 이내 모래점토와 점토흙이 혼합된 지역에서 직사광선은 받는 우점식생이 없는 것을 볼 때 재배 지역은 해안지역과 인접한 지역은 재배 가능지역으로 판단된다. 3. 생리활성효능을 RAW 264.7 세포와 HL-60 세포를 이용하여 확인한 결과 유효한 항염효능은 확인하지 못하였고, 항암활성을 검정한 결과 순비기나무, 번행초는 억제활성이 없었고, 갯방풍은 100μg/ml에서 60%, 200μg/ml에서 72%의 증식억제 효과를 확인하였다.
