고강도콘크리트(압축강도 400-700kgf/cm/sup 2)를 이용한 구조물의 강도성능과 휨변형을 정확히 구하는 해석방법을 제안하는 것이 본 연구의 목적으로서, 재료특성을 모델화하기 위하여 희귀분석을 이용한 고강도콘크리트의 응력-변형률관계와 사다리꼴 응력모델을 검토하여 그 적용성을 확인하였다. 내력과 변형의 해석방법으로서는 단면을 요소분할하여 재료의 응력-변형률관계를 이용한 모멘트-곡률관계의 해석을 이용하였다. 여기서 본 연구는 재료특성의 불확정 변수와 해석시의 반복계산에 의한 오차를 최소화하기 위하여 확률적 개념을 이용한 몬테카를로 시뮬레이션의 방법을 도입하여 내력 및 변위성능을 합리적으로 평가하였다.
NaCl과 sucrose 용액을 역삼투용 워난틀형 모듈에 공겁하여 투과실험하였으며 Kimura-Sourirajan[8]이 제안한 방법으로 분리성능을 분석하였다. 사용한 분리막의 순수투과계수는 압력에 무관하게 2.17 × 10-6 (gmol/cm2 -sec-bar)로 일정하게 유지되었다. Sucrose 용액의 농도분극화 현상은 NaCl 용액보다 심각하였으며 40bar 이상에서는 압력이 증가함에 따라서 오히려 투과선속이 감소하였다. 용질 배제율은 NaCl 수용액의 경우 압력이 증가함에 따라서 감소하였으나 sucrose 수용액의 경우는 압력에 따라서 배제율도 증가하였다.
우유의 allergenicity를 감소시켜 우유에 대하여 allergy성 질환을 일으키는 사람들에게 이들 식품의 섭취 및 이용을 증대시킬 수 있게 하는 방안을 강구하고자 allergy 조제분유의 개발을 위하여 열처리, 자외선 및 microwave의 조사, 축합 인산염 처리, 효소처리 등을 한 후 guinea pig를 이용한 Passive Cutaneous Anaphylaxis(PCA) inhibition 실험과 Non Proteic Nitrogen(NPN) 정량을 통한 가수분해율의 측정 실험을 시행한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 우유의 allergenicity는 가열에 의해 감소하였으며 가열시간이 길수록 단백질 가수분해율 및 PCA inhibition을 증가시켰다. Ultraviolet조사와 microwave조사는 단백 가수분해율과 PCA inhibition을 증가시켜서 allergenecity를 저하시켰으며 ultraviolet이 저해초과가 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 효소처리는 단백질의 가수분해율 및 PCA inhibition를 증가시키며 allergenecity를 현저히 감소시켰으며 neutrase가 alcalase보다 저해효과 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. Polyphosphate의 첨가는 단백질의 가수분해는 유도하지 않았으나 PCA inhibition을 증가시키며 allergenicity를 감소시켰다.
본 연구는 오이 재배 시에 재배요인으로 관수방법에 따른 토양내 수분함량의 차이가 오이의 저장성과 몇 가지 품질에 미치는 영향을 구명하고자 실시하였다. 1. 저장중 생체중은 과실내 수분함량이 많았던 점적관수 처리구가 13℃, 24℃저장에서 모두 저장 초기부터 최종일까지 그 감소의 폭이 컸으나 저장 최종일에는 처리간 유의성은 없었다. 2. 건물율은 저장 초기부터 최종일까지 점적관수 처리구가 관행관수 처리구보다 낮게 나타났으며 저장기간 중 감소하는 경향이었다. 13℃와 24℃ 저장에서 모두 같은 경향이었으나, 24℃ 저장시 그 감소폭이 더 컸다. 3. Vitamin C 함량은 저장기간 중 감소하는 경향이었는데, 13℃에 비해 24℃ 저장에서 그 감소폭이 더 컸다. 그러나 관수방법 별로는 그 차이에 유의성이 보이지 않았다. 4. 오이과실의 경도는 13℃와 24℃에서 모두 저장 종료일까지 과경부가 화흔부보다 높게 나타났으나, 저장온도(13℃, 24℃)과 관수방법(관행관수, 점적관수)별로는 유의성이 나타나지 않았다. 5. 점적관수는 관행관수 방법보다 다소 많은 수분이 공급되지만, 소량의 수분을 지속적으로 공급하므로 과다관수로 인한 오이과실의 저장성 및 품질의 저하는 나타나지 않았다.
Bacteriocins from lactic acid bacteria have attracted much attention in recent years because of their useful worth in increasing safety and extending shelf life of foods. These substances show an inhibitory effect against some food spoilage bacteria and food-borne pathogens. The inhibitory effect of the bacteriocin produced by lactic acid bacteria against Listeria monocytogenes(L. monocytogenes) was examined in this study. The culture supernatants of 5 kinds of bacteria among the 10 kinds of tested lactic acid bacteria had the inhibitory activity against Listeria sp., various Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria. Bacteriocin produced by Lactobacillus plantarum(Lact. plantarum) LMG 7945 was the most active toward L. monocytogenes. Bacteriocin production of the Lact, plantarum LMG 7945 cultured on MRS broth was increased late logarithmic phase over early stationary phase. This bacteriocin was stable at heat treatment and acidic pH relatively; The activity was retained after heating at 121 for 15min and was active in the pH range of 2-4 but was lost above pH 5.
Vibrio vulnificus, a normal inhabitant in estuaries, is of great concern because it is a potent human pathogen causing septicemia, wound infection and gastrointestinal disease in susceptible hosts. To elucidate the distribution and environmental factors of V. vulnificus in Kum river, sampling was undertaken in five station from March, 26, 1993 to February, 22, 1994. Samples of 54 and 49 were collected from seawater and bottom deposit. The total detection rate of V. vulnificus was 11.7%. The detection rates of V. vulniftcus in the seawater and the bottom deposit were 9.3% and 14.3% respectively. V. vulnificus was mainly detected in estuary water when temperature was above 23℃ and salinity was below 15‰. We suppose that water temperature, salinity, pH and COD affect growth of V. vulnificus.
In general, research in isokinetic exercise has focussed on studies of peak torque. However, peak torque is not always sufficient to assess the real amount of motion or to determine endurance. In this study, the subjects were 54 healthy students who performed continuous maximal isokinetic knee flexion and extension until their total work per time reached 50% of their maximal total work. Isokinetic curves were then plotted. Total work sums, exercise durations in seconds, and the numbers of repetitions were compared with reference to subject gender, angular velocity and muscle group. The relationship between total work sum, duration and number of repetition and thigh circumference plus leg length was computed. In addition, the characteristics of total work per second and total work per time were calculated. Results showed the total work sums differed greatly from muscle group to muscle group and with different angular velocities. The duration in seconds and the numbers of repetition differed only at higher angular velocity. Males achieved higher levels in every category except for some duration in seconds and some numbers of repetitions. Thigh circumference and leg length were deciding fators in every case, but duration in seconds and number of repetitions were not. These results suggest that measures of endurance should be included along with measures of total work when isokinetic studies are done. Measures of endurance in seconds are more accurate when isokinetic exercise is performed at lower angular velocities and numbers of repetitions at higher angular velocities.
양액재배에서 제주송이가 다른 배지와 비교하여 방울토마토의 수량 및 품질에 미치는 영향과 양액성분 변화를 조사하여 제주송이를 양액재배용 고형배지로 실용화하기 위하여 시험한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 건엽비, 건과비, 당산비는 1익㉣ 1회 1시간 담액후에 완전 배액한 구에서 높았다. 2. 방울토마토 생과중은 상위 화방으로 갈수록 암면구와 담액수경구는 작아졌으나, 송이구와 일향토구, 펄라이트구 등 고형배지경에서 무거웠다. 3. 방울토마토의 생육이 왕성한 시기에 양액성분중 다량원소를 분석한 결과는 송이 재배구에서 인산과 칼륨 농도가 낮았다. 4. 방울토마토의 수량과 당도는 암면과 일향토구에서 높은 경향을 보였다. 5. 일반적으로 양액재배에서는 수분의 증발과 식물의 수분 흡수 증산작용으로 비료염의 농도가 높아가는데 송이구도 다른 고형배지경과 비슷한 결과를 보였다. 6. 제주 송이 양액재배용 고형배지로 손쉽게 이용할 수 있는 가벼운 자재로 가공개발 연구가 있어야 할 것으로 본다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the removal of ammonium nitrogen by biological nitrification in raw water containing LAS using BAC. At batch teats, LAS removal by ozone followed the first order reaction, and the rate constants(k) by ozone dose 1, 3mg/min.L were $0.040min^{-1}$, $0.062min^{-1}$ respectively. Therefore, the more ozone was dosed, the higher LAS was removed The reaction between ozone and ammonium nitrogen also followed the first order, and rate constants(k) at pH7,8 and 9 were $8.9{\times}10^{-4}min-1$, $3.8{\times}10^{-3}min^{-1}$, and $2.9{\times}10^{-2}min^{-1}$ respectively at ozone dose of 3mg/min.L . Therefore, ammonium nitrogen was little removed by ozone under neutral pH of 7. The continuous flow apparatus had four sets composed of a ozone contacter and a GAC column. Through continuous filtration test for 50days, the following conclusions were derived; (1) LAS was removed 23%, 30% respectively by ozone dose 1, 3mg/L, and was not detected in all column effluents during the period of experiment. Therefore, it appeared that adsorption capacities of each column still remained. (2) Ammonium nitrogen concentration after ozone contact varied little in raw Water because pH of raw water was from 6 to 7, and was transfered to nitrite and nitrate within GAC columns as the result of staged nitrification. After 30days, nitrite was not detected in all column effluents due to biological equilbrium between nitro semonas and nitrobacter Average removals of ammonium nitrogen in each column after the lapse of 30days were the following; ${\cdot}$ column A (ozone dose 3mg/L, EBCT 9.5min): about 100% ${\cdot}$ column B (ozone dose 1mg/L, EBCT 9.5min): 91% ${\cdot}$ column C (ozone dose 3mg/L, EBCT 14.2min): about 100% ${\cdot}$ column D (ozone dose 0mg/L, EBCT 9.5min): 53% Though column A and C reached nitrification of about 100%, column C (longer EBCT than column A) was more stable than column A. (3) After backwash, nitrification reached steady state within 5 to 8 hours. Therefore, nitrification was not greatly affected by backwash. (4) According to the nitrification capacity in depth of column A, C, where 100% nitrification occured. LAS was removed within 20cm, while ammonium nitrogen required more depth to be removed by nitrification.
This study was undertaken to investigate the dietary behavior and sugar intake of korean school children. The subject were 131 school lunch program children and 149 non school lunch program children lived in Soung Nam city. Sugar intake, food intake, dietary behavior and anthropometric measurement were studied through personal interview using 24-hour recall dietary data and records. Total daily energy and nutrient intake of children were higher than RDAs except for intake of Calcium and vitamin A. The nutrients intake of school lunch program children were significantly higher than that of non school lunch program children (p〈0.05). The range of daily sugar intake was 10 g to 220 g and the total daily sugar intake was 63.0±37.4 g. Sugar intake of school lunch program children (51.4±25.7 g) was significantly lower than non school lunch program children (73.1±42.9 g) (p〈0.0001). The more sugar intake increase more intake of Energy, Fat and Carbohydrate. The result of stepwise multiple regression analysis using the sugar intake of children as dependent variable, energy, vitamin B2, protein, niacin, calcium school lunch program, education of fathers are significant explanatory variables, explaining 44.8% of variation. Result of this study suggest that school lunch program is desirable for good dietary behavior and decreation of sugar intake of school children.
Ozone treatment was applied to ginseng powder for the improving hygienic quality of ginseng powder. A bacterial strain was isolated form ginseng powder contaminated. The strain designated as GT4, was identified as Escherichia coli species by IMVIC test method. Ozone inhibited strongly total bacteria and coliforms in ginseng powder(initial concentration 10³/g) at 0.35 ppm. High ozone concentration reduced death time of the total bacteria in ginseng powder. However, ozone treatment caused significant degradation in saponins of ginseng powder. Ozone treatment also caused a increase in Hunter's color L value and decrease in a and b values of ginseng powder.
Dry rehydratable film (Petrifilm) method was compared with the standard pate count (SPC) method for estimation of total bacteria in ginseng products. Ginseng products (7 sample) was analyzed for total count by the SPC, and Petrifilm methods, respectively. In the case of ginseng tea, ginseng extract, ginseng extract pill, ginseng powder capsule, and ginseng extract tea,. they showed non-significant values at the 1 level. However, the values of ginseng powder and tablet showed significant at the 1 level. These results generally indicate the suitability of the dry rehydratable film methods as alternatives to the SPC method for estimating of total bacteria in ginseng product samples except to ginseng powder and ginseng tablet.
The effect of the ethanol extract from salviae miltiorrhizae radix (Salvia miltiorrhiza) on the microbial growth and the stability of the extracted antimicrobial material were investigated. The ethanol extract had strong growth inhibition activity (MIC, 3.13-50.0 pg/ml) against Gram-positive bacteria such as B. subtilis, L. monocytogenes and S. aureus. Among Gram-positive bacteria tested, B. subtilis was the most susceptible to the extracted substance. While the antimicrobial activity of the ethanol extract was weak (MIC, 400-800 ug/ml) to E. coli and yeasts (C. albicans. Sacch. diastaticus). The ethanol extract had bactericidal action at higher concentration than MIC against B. subtilis, while the extract had only bacteriostatic action against S. aureus. The extracted antimicrobial substance was stable in the pH range of 4.0 to 10.0, heat treatment at 121℃ for 15 min, and freezing and thawing
