Safety training for foreign workers should be thoroughly done. But it has not been done well even if field safety manager understand that the training has not been well provided. 72% of responders (Safety Managers) at field thinks that safety training has not been well provided at a site. It is shown that there are not any additional measures to correct this problem. Eventually, the reasons of that the training is not well provided, and foreign workers do not understand safe condition at site, well lead to an accident at construction site.
The construction industry by its nature retains higher level of danger where the smallest of error may lead to a major catastrophe endangering many workers and public safety as well as provoke social criticism. With the aid of quantitative statistical data on safety-related calamity analyzed till this day, this paper handled in depth the analysis of diseases other than the accidents, and selected new variable indexes that influence the indirect sections of calamity that are mostly concealed and incorporated them in a new model. For the factor selection of new calamity evaluation model, FRAT(Frequency, Recency, Amount, Type of merchandise/service)technique of customer-related management in marketing was applied, and as for the significance of each factor in the weight selection of variables. Consequently, considering the graveness of the FRAT itself through safety management experts, the related researches must be expanded.

Therefore, the accidents have often happened due to the deficiency of laborer's understanding and lack of safety of structure. Till now, as we have research and studied above, we can properly protect accidents by construction equipments particularly crane as well as most disasters which occur frequently in construction site. The goal of this study is the safety inspection model of the tower crane a construction site, which preventible the collapse accident of tower crane which is constructed by using the correcting frame. In order to accomplish the goal of this study, the field survey, the reference investigation and the structure analysis were performed for the collapse accident of tower crane using the correcting data. This study will be proposed a build-up solutions about operating and release of safety constructions and researched about software safety estimation. Also, preventing safety problems of Tower Crane Construction site as applying safety estimation program and laws and regulations. As a result, The real time control of tower crane inspection system is implemented by to illustrate the application of the adopted optimal design model.
Safety climate in the research area of industrial safety begins to be influential meta-theory. With this research trend, this paper is to examine the relationship between safety climate and safety participation, and the moderating effect of age. Data were gathered from 292 manufacturing workers in construction industry. It is found that management involvement, safety education, and precaution activities have affirmative effect on safety participation, and physical job load negative effect on it. Next, education, precaution activities, and safety system were found to have interactional effects on safety participation with age.
This study deals with construction contract bid-rigging by Japanese contractors who monopolized the construction market of the Korean Peninsula during the Japanese colonial rule, and investigates the abuses of the contract bid-rigging. First of all, construction contract bid-rigging in Korea was triggered by Japanese construction contractors and contract brokers, who had savored the benefits of bidrigging in Japan and had repeated the bid-rigging in Korea since 1903. Second, the agency played a significant role to mediate construction contractors, and existed throughout the Japanese colonial rule on the Korean Peninsula with changing their names. Most of them were engaged in major contract bid-rigging scandals. Among them was Construction Association of Korea, which existed for over 13 years. The agencies had took part in governmental services since the mid-1930s when Japan exploited Korean people during wartime, and focused on sweating human resources for the constructions. Third, one of the biggest construction bid-rigging scandals during the Japanese colonial rule was "the 1st and 2nd scandal on Daegu construction contract bid-rigging." Indeed, the second scandal paved the way for the serial scandals: "Kyeongseong construction contract bid-rigging scandal", "Busan construction contract bid-rigging scandal", and other cases throughout the nation. Fourth, along with the contract bid-rigging cases related to the Japanese Government-General of Korea and local authorities, bid-riggings firmly took rooted in local governments' farmland reclamation projects in the 1920s and the poor relief services in the 1930s. The "bid-rigging charges" forced contractors to compensate their losses with exploiting material costs and labor costs, generating serious problems. The construction contract bid-rigging enabled Japan to monopolize the construction industry and to sweat farmers on the Korean Peninsula. Against this backdrop, contract bid-rigging by Japanese construction contractors during the its colonization made Korean contractors ruled out, and helped Japanese monopolize the industry. A large amount of bid-rigging charges drove Japanese contractors to do fraudulent work with cheap materials and to exploit Korean labor force.
광양만에서 호안 건설 후 조간대 퇴적물의 분포 및 변화를 조사하기 위하여 표층 퇴적물의 조직 특성과 퇴적률에 대한 모니터링을 실시하였다. 퇴적물의 평균 입도는 가을에 조립하고 겨울, 봄, 여름으로 갈수록 세립해지며, 여름에는 초기에 일시적으로 조립한 후 세립해지는 계절적 변화를 보였다. 퇴적률은 봄에 퇴적되고 여름과 가을에 주로 침식되어 호안이 건설퇴기 이전인 2001-2003년 동안 관측한 결과와 매우 비슷한 양상을 보였다. 그러나 연평균 퇴적률은 북측 조간대에서는 2001-2003년 동안 관측한 결과와 유사한 경향을 보였으나, 주변에 호안이 건설된 서측 조간대는 퇴적 환경에서 침식 환경으로 변화된 양상을 보였다. 이와 같은 퇴적 환경의 변화는 아마도 호안 건설에 따른 수류의 변형에 기인하는 것으로 판단된다.
