        The purpose of this study is to examine the construction industry of Korea from the 1920s to the 1930s by analyzing activities of construction-contractors trying to overcome the recession of the construction industry and intensified competition in the industry. In this paper, I looked at the activities of Hanazono Sakichi as concrete examples. First of all, with the strategy of the vertical integration, by manufacturing and selling building materials, Hanazono Sakichi expanded his company and the scope of contract business. The second, he attempted to diversify related projects. Through related diversification, he seemed to have earned not only land management profit but also advantages from related construction. These aspects were not only seen by Hanazono’s activities but also by other contractors’. On the other hand, a few contractors have taken over a trust company to secure the funds for land management. Attempts to maximize personal interests through the expansion and diversification of contractors' business can be seen as overcoming the pre-1920s environment, where almost construct works were ordered under the government, and creating opportunities for the private sector to work and make profit by themselves. In the end, it can be mentioned that ‘the contractor’ established ‘the construction industry’ through this process.

        Supply chain management can be defined as an information system that connects the inside and outside of a company. Its purpose is to systematically and strategically manage the flow of information, resources and services to improve the long-term performance of the entire organization, including individual companies connected to the supply chain, and the quality of service provided to customers. The ultimate goal of SCM is to create synergy through organic integration of supply and demand based on cooperation and collaboration with stakeholders in the supply chain. This study is based on the hypothesis that the company's management performance will improve as the level of SCM improves. Most of the previous studies dealt with the relationship between corporate performance and SCM in the IT area. In this study, research was conducted through human capacity with IT system. The causal relationship was demonstrated, and there was a difference in the perception of the results of this study depending on whether or not smart factories were consulted in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution. There is a need to examine the links between management's value chain and its causal relationship.

        To evaluate alterations in fecal bacterial compositions in weaning piglets after supplementation with Phellodendron Cortex extract (PCE), piglets were allowed freely to consume feed containing 10 ppm of PCE for 7 weeks. During the feeding period, fecal samples were collected from individual piglets. A total of 578 valid sequence reads were generated from 40 fecal samples of normal piglets before supplementation with PCE. Fifteen classes were identified. Approximately 90% of classifiable sequences belonged to Clostridia and Bacilli classes. The abundance of Clostridium spp. and Lactobacillus spp. was determined based on the results of the sequencing. The supplementation with 10 ppm PCE for 3 weeks increased the numbers of Clostridium spp. and Lactobacillus spp. whereas seven weeks of supplementation with PCE reduced their abundance. In vitro, PCE inhibited the growth of E. coli and Salmonella enteritidis in a dose-dependent manner.

        Many people have often reused their disposable respirator multiple times due to reasons of economy and purchasing inconvenience. However, multiple use of a disposable respirator may lead to an adverse effect of its protection performance. In this study, we aimed to determine changes in the protection performance of disposable respirators related to multiple use and to suggest the appropriate number of times of use. The masks of the brands T and Y were selected in this study, respectively. A mask of each brand was used for testing at the same time and place for two hours per day. The protection performance of each disposable mask was tested after consecutive use on days two, three, and four. The protection performance tests for each used mask following wear on a mannequin were performed in the laboratory using GRIMM’s fine dust monitoring device and TSI’s nebulizer. The concentration of PM10, PM2.5, and PM1.0 inside and outside the mask was measured. The filtration rate was calculated and the results were analyzed using the SAS statistical program. The protection rates of the brandnew masks of T and Y brands (blank test) were 80% and 60%, respectively. After one-day usage, the protection rates of the brand-new T and Y branded masks significantly decreased from 80% to 60% and from 60% to 50%, respectively. Rather, the slight drops of protection rate were observed after two or more days of respirator use. Our findings indicate that the change of protection performance could occur after one-time use. It would not be recommended to use disposable respirators several times in terms of in terms of protecting human health from environmental hazards.

        The field experiment was carried out to evaluate changes of dry matter productivity and feed value of Italian ryegrass and triticale at different growth stages in Wonju from 2018 to 2019. Italian ryegrass and triticale forages were harvested at an interval of seven days from May to June. The dry matter yield of Italian ryegrass with 7,870 kg/ha harvested on May 16 was significantly higher than that harvested on May 3 and May 9. The dry matter yield of triticale with 12,050 kg/ha harvested on June 7 was significantly higher than that harvested from May 3 to May 16. The crude protein yields harvested on May 16 were 890 kg/ha for Italian ryegrass and 1,103 kg/ha for triticale and were significantly higher than those harvested on May 3 and May 9. The total digestible nutrient yield(TDN) of Italian ryegrass with 5,223 kg/ha harvested on May 16 was significantly higher than that harvested on May 3 and May 9. The total digestible nutrient yield of triticale with 8,277 kg/ha harvested on June 7 was significantly higher than that harvested during May, but not different from that harvested after June 7. Considering the dry matter yield, crude protein yield and total digestible nutrient yield, it is suggested that the optimal harvesting times for Italian ryegrass and triticale seem to be May 16 and June 7, respectively.

        n-Butanol is used to assess how odor intensity correction affects judges’ evaluation of the odor intensity based on the concentration. The odor intensity correction effect is verified by using three types of test solutions which are used for the selection of judges based on their concentration levels. The correction effect is statistically analyzed according to gender, odorant type, and concentration on the group and individual level. The result shows that n- Butanol correction affects the odor intensity evaluation for three odorants in different ways. In most cases, n- Butanol correction increases the panelists' sensitivity to the odor intensity change, and results to be close to the theoretical value. The female panelists can more accurately evaluate the sourness intensity of acetic acid after n- Butanol correction. All panelists regardless of gender can more accurately evaluate the fishiness intensity of trimethylamine after n-Butanol correction. For evaluating the caramel smell intensity of methylcyclopentenolone, a full panel without n-Butanol correction is recommended. Therefore, n-Butanol correction should be included in the process of judge selection and the odor intensity assessment.

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the interrelationship of how the ship's wave resistance performance changes with the change of the longitudinal position of the section line in the ship's lines, and to find a way to use it in the hull-form design. To this end, we developed a hull-form automatic change algorithm that can maintain the proper hull-form while moving the section lines in the longitudinal direction, and the computer program for a numerical analysis was developed to apply the developed algorithm. By applying the developed hull-form automatic change algorithm and the wave resistance performance prediction program, the numerical analysis package was constructed. The numerical analysis was carried out for the passenger ship. Numerical analyzes were carried out by moving the section lines of the passenger ship in the longitudinal direction, and the results were compared with each other. Based on the numerical results, we attempted to investigate the correlation between the section line movement and the wave resistance performance.

        A dapo type bracket system which consists of chuganpo(柱間包) and chusangpo(柱上包) with a fake-beam adopted a nemok-dori member to cope with oemok-dori member in order to obtain balance between the outer-side and the inner-side of the bracket system. The middle part of the longest rater in the dapo system is supported by three points made by oemok-dori, jusim-dori and nemok-dori members and the area between the rafer supporting points forms a supporting area. The increase of rafter supporting points and supporting area leads to heightening the structural stability and the efficiency of load delivery. In the eave of dapo system the portion where the three supporting points formed by oemok-dori, jusim-dori and nemok-dori members shows as 33% in the early period, 71% in the middle period and 78% in the later period. On the contrary the portion where more than one of the three dori members were omitted shows as 67% in the early period, 29% in the middle period and 22% in the later period. This is the result of the increase of the number and the distance of steps in the dapo bracket system as time goes on. This is because the structural role of three supporting points becomes important as the increase of distance between the dori members leads to the increase of load which burdens on each dori member.

        The change of fishing power index was analyzed to identify the development of the vessel and gear technology that may improve the fishing efficiency of the offshore conger eel pot fishery from 1980s to 2015. Gross tonnage per fishing vessel was rapidly increased annually. The standard of pot was maintained, but the number of pot used rapidly increased by using conger eel pot hauling devices, carrying and loading devices, main line hauler, casting devices and slide type pot. Fish finder system to identify fishing ground information and the conger eel pot hauling devices were modernized, and supply rate was also increased. Therefore, the relative fishing power index in the offshore conger eel pot fishery increased from 1.0 in 1980 to 1.3 in 1990, to 1.8 in 2000 and to 2.0 in 2015. The results are expected to contribute to reasonable fisheries stock management of the offshore conger eel pot fishery.

        Thousands of pelagic and demersal fishes inhabit the waters around Korea and many of them are overexploited. One of the reasons is technological development, which increases the efficiency of the vessels continuously. The analysis was conducted to identify the change of fishing power index to develop the vessel and gear technology that may have improved the fishing efficiency of the otter trawl fishery from 1960s to 2010s. Gross tonnage was decreased stably, but horse power was increased annually. The perimeter of net mouth was somewhat longer, but little changed. Color fish finder was utilized from the mid-1960s. Hydraulic net drum were introduced in the early 1990s, and supply rate was gradually increased. Surveys on the supply and upgrading of fishing equipment utilized visiting research. Therefore, the relative fishing power index in the trawl fishery increased about two to three times in the 2010s compared to the 1980s. The results are expected to contribute to reasonable fisheries stock management.

        PURPOSES: Knowing the scope of deterioration of the concrete slab around spalling is important in determining the size of the partial-depth repair. The change in the material properties of the concrete slab, according to the severity of spalling and distance from spalling, is analyzed herein by performing non-destructive and destructive tests at the field and in the laboratory. METHODS: The test slabs were determined by finding spallings with high or medium severity. The relative elastic modulus was measured near the spalling, far from spalling, and around the slab center using an impact echo equipment. The core specimens were obtained at the measurement positions. An absorption test was performed for the core specimens, while the impact echo and dynamic modulus tests were performed for the upper and lower parts of the core specimens under dry or saturated conditions. A compressive strength test was also performed for the upper and lower parts of the core specimens. RESULTS : The absorption coefficient, relative elastic modulus, relative dynamic modulus, and relative compressive strength worsened as the measurement position became closer to the spalling distress and top of the slab. The worse material properties were measured for the spalling with a higher severity. The moisture condition of the specimens scarcely affected the material properties. CONCLUSIONS : The impact echo test results obtained at the field showed a high correlation with the results of the absorption, impact echo, dynamic modulus, and compressive strength tests performed in the laboratory. Accordingly, a quicker and a more convenient nondestructive soundness evaluation of concrete pavements is expected to be realized using the field impact echo test method.

        이 연구의 목적은 집단중심 추세모형을 적용하여 과학고 학생들이 탐구를 수행하는 과정에서 나타난 통합 탐구 기능 변화의 양상과 특징을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 3개의 가설-연역적 탐구 과제를 이용하였으며, 이를 59명의 과학고 학생들에게 순차적으로 수행하게 하고 그 과정을 보고서로 작성하게 하였다. 작성된 보고서는 Lee and Park (2017)에 의해 개발된 평가 준거틀에 따라 통합 탐구 기능 4개 요소별로 평가하였으며, 이를 집단중심 추세모형에 적용하여 탐구 과제를 수행한 3개 시점에 따른 탐구 기능 수준의 변화 양상을 요소별로 분석하였다. 또한, 탐구 기능 변화에서 나타난 특징을 몇 가지 관점에서 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다: 첫째, 집단중심 추세모형을 적용하여 학생들의 통합 탐구 기능 변화 양상을 분석한 결과, 4개 요소 모두에서 2개 집단으로 분류되었으나 그 변화 양상은 요소별로 많은 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 학생들의 통합 탐구 기능 변화에서 나타난 특징을 분석한 결과, 탐구 기능의 맥락의존성, 탐구 기능 발달 경로의 변이성, 탐구 기능 요소별 수준의 들쭉날쭉성을 발견할 수 있었다. 연구 결과를 토대로 과학고 학생들의 통합 탐구 기능 발달을 위한 제언을 하였다.

        본 연구는 9~11세기에 성립된 것으로 알려진 『요가야갸발키야(Yogayājñavalkya)』에서 나타난 명상을 통한 의식의 전환을 설명한다. 『요가야갸발키야』는 명상을 통해 의식을 각성하고 형이상학적 진실을 완전히 이해할 수 있는 질적으로 다른 의식을 얻는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 『요가야갸발키야』는 옴(praṇava)명상, 유속성 명상, 무속성 명상을 소개한다. 『요가야갸발키야』에서는 명상 수행을 통해 아뜨만(ātman)을 깨닫게 되고 삼매(samādhi)를 성취한다고 한다. 즉 개아가 무지(ajñāna)에서 벗어나 자신의 본성이 불변하며 영원한 의식임을 알게 되는 의식의 전환이 이루어진다.

        The present study examined changes in surface shape and pore size observed in carbon black particles isothermally oxidized in an air atmosphere according to their burn-off ratio. Carbon black materials were fed into a horizontal tubular furnace in an air atmosphere when the inside temperature reached 600 °C. Subsequently, while changing the isothermal oxidation time, carbon black samples with different burn-off ratios were obtained, i.e., 10.5, 20.0, 30.4, 41.0, 49.9, 59.8, 71.1, and 81.0%. The scanning electron microscope analysis revealed that the observed carbon black particles were in the form of aggregated primary particles, and that there was no change in the particle size of these primary particles as the burn-off process proceeded. The latter observation supported the observation that pores were formed in the carbon black samples during the burn-off process. Notably, the Brunauer–Emmett–Teller analysis exhibited hysteresis curves, indicating that the corresponding adsorption isotherms were of IV-type. It was also found that the area of the hysteresis curves increased as the burn-off process proceeded. The specific surface area of the raw carbon black sample was 58.00 m2/g, while that of the 81.0% sample was about 4.1 times the figure at 240.27 m2/g. The total pore volume VT was 0.17 cm3/g for the raw sample, and it was much higher for the 81.0% sample at 0.58 cm3/g. The transmission electron microscope analysis showed that the raw carbon black particles had a spherical shape with a smooth surface, but inner pores were not observed. In the 49.9% sample, pores with a size of about 5 nm were observed inside carbon black particles. Notably, the size of the pores observed in the 81.0% sample was about 20 nm and the large pores were created by the collapsing and merging of the smaller pores by oxidation.

        오늘날의 스포츠는 그 자체만으로도 매우 다양한 현상을 표출하기도 하고, 복잡한 사회적 기호를 재생산하거나 의미를 내포하고 있다. 각 시대에서 중심적 이슈가 되고 있는 이데올로기와 결합하면서 변용되는 스포츠의 의미는 최근 더욱 다양해지고 있다. 최근 사회 현상을 주도하는 4차 산업혁명과 만나서 스포츠문화는 새로운 현상을 생산하고 있다. 과연 이러한 시대에 우리는 스포츠문화를 어떻게 이해하고, 해석해야 하는 것이 옳은 접근인가에 대한 고민에서 이 연구의 필요성이 있다. 각각의 학문별로 영역별로 살아남기 위한 몸부림, 그것이 스포츠문화의 재해석이라는 것으로 표현되었다. 스포츠문화가 어떻게 소비 되고, 확산되고, 재해석되어 가는가에 대한 궁금증을 해소하기 위함이다. 이를 통해 스포츠문화의 방향과 지향점을 알아보고자 하는 것이 이 연구의 목적이다. 이와 같은 문제인식을 바탕으로 스포츠문화는 무엇을 소비하는가에 대한 답을 다섯 가지 형태로 제시하였다. 이를 근거로 스포츠문화의 확산 매개체로 학교체육, 스포츠 동호회(스포츠 클럽), 스포츠이벤트, 스포츠미디어, 스포츠와 관련된 공정성을 제시하였다. 우린 수 많은 과학문명을 수용하고, 변용하면서 스포츠문화를 향상시키고, 소비자에게 촉진 시키고 있다. 다만 그러 한 것을 규정화 하지 못하는 아쉬움이 있다. 보다 근본적인 부분에서의 노력, 즉 문화 규정짓기와 근본적인 방향성에 대한 논의가 필요하고, 해야 한다. 스포츠문화의 재해석이라는 틀은 단지 해석의 차원이 아니라 무엇을 할 것인가에 대한 방향과 답을 끊임없이 찾아야 할 것이다.

        미세먼지발생 문제는 커다란 사회적 문제로 대두되고 있다. 선박에서는 주 추진 동력원으로 디젤엔진을 주로 사용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 디젤엔진에서 발생하는 미세먼지로 알려진 입자상 물질을 줄이기 위해서 디젤엔진의 후처리시스템으로 사용 중인 DPF(디 젤미립자 필터, Diesel particulate filter)를 소개하고자 한다. DPF의 소재로는 Cordierite와 SiC (Silicon carbide)의 두 가지가 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SiC DPF에 사용되는 접합제의 물성 향상을 위해서 기존 접합제로 사용된 SiC 계열의 물질 대신 코디얼라이트를 사용하여 열 팽창계수 변화를 통한 고온 변형에 대한 열 내구성을 평가하였으며, 접합제와 Segment 사이의 결합을 결정짓는 바탕제에 주성분인 실리카 졸의 pH 변화에 따른 물성 변화를 확인하였다. 이를 기반으로 실리카 졸의 반응성을 높이기 위해 Siline계 커플링제를 첨가하거나 SiC를 일부 첨가함으로써 접합제의 물성 변화의 영향에 대해서 실험을 통하여 확인하였다.

        This study developed an evaluation system of adaptation countermeasures for climate change in the water resources sector using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), and the assessment procedures were applied to the Second Chungcheongnam-do Climate Change Adaptation Implementation Plan (Chungnam Implementation Plan). Firstly, the evaluation criteria are composed of two levels according to the hierarchical structure, and AHP gives priority to 4 evaluation criteria of the first level and 16 alternative indicators of the second level. Secondly, after the importance of the evaluation criteria or indicators has been determined, the significance of each measure was evaluated by applying it to the water-sector measures of the Chungnam Implementation Plan, and the effectiveness of the evaluation system was validated. The Chungnam case study shows that the evaluation system will be more effective and efficient when it is applied during development phase rather than after the implementation plan is finalized. It is also expected that the evaluation system will be used to evaluate and prioritize climate change adaptation policies in other regions, and then to compare the means of adaptation to climate change in various regions and to select recommendation policies.

        여름철 집중 강우량 감소에 따른 저서성 대형무척추동 물 군집 변화를 알아보기 위하여 섬진강 본류 25지점을 대상으로 2014년과 2015년 각각 5월과 9월 총 4회 조사를 실시하였다. 서식환경에 중요하게 작용하는 요인인 강우량, 기온, 수질, 수심, 유속, 하상구성을 수집하고 측정하였다. 섬진강의 5월 누적강우량 (CP)은 2014년 2,322.1 mm, 2015년 2,371.0 mm로 큰 차이를 보이지 않았으나, 9월 CP 는 2014년 7,678.2 mm, 2015년 3,726.1 mm로 반절 이상 감소하였다. 여름철 집중강우로 인한 유실효과로, 개체밀도와 종 수는 5월이 9월보다 높았다. 5월은 깔따구류와 세 갈래하루살이, 9월은 네점하루살이, 두점하루살이, 세갈래 하루살이가 우점을 차지하였다. 생물지수와 환경요인과의 상관성 분석 결과, 하상구성 및 유속과 상관성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 저서성 대형무척추동물 우점종과 환경요인과의 집괴분석한 결과 5월과 9월의 CP와 MT에 따라 4 그룹으로 나뉘었다. 주성분 분석 결과 집괴분석으로 나뉘어진 그룹의 특성을 잘 반영하였으며, 특히 네점하루살이와 두점하루살이는 강우량의 변동을 잘 반영하였다.

        We investigate the provenance and the changes in the timekeeping system focusing on official records such as almanacs and textbooks published by the government after the solar calendar was introduced. We found that the solar calendar and the 12-hour clock time first appeared in 1884 during Joseon dynasty, at that time the solar calendar was used at the open port in Busan to facilitate the exchanges with Japan. The 12-hour clock time first appeared in the『Hansung Sunbo』published by the government in 1884. We also found that the Joseon dynasty also used 12 diǎnzhōng or 12 diǎn. In addition, the term of the ‘Sigan’ first appeared in the first official academic textbook in August 1895, and the chapter related to time contained the information about 12-hour clock time instead of the 12 Shi. In 1908, the meaning of the solar time, the equation of time, and the differences in longitude with the adoption of Korean Standard Time were introduced. Meanwhile, the 24-hour clock time was first introduced in Joseon and applied to railway times in 1907. The 1946 almanac, the first issue after liberation, used the 12-hour clock time which uses ‘Sango’, ‘Hao’ and the 24-hour clock time started to be used from the following year and is still used to this day. Finally, the 12-hour clock time, which was introduced around 1884, was enacted as Article 44 of the law in 1900 and was revised again in 1905 and 1908. In Korea, the terms related to the time in the current astronomical calendar system were newly defined around 1884, 1896, and 1908, and gradually standardized through the establishment of laws.
