        The results of the Crab pulsar observations with the photometrical MANIA (Multichannel Analysis of Nanosecond Intensity Alterations) complex at the 6-m telescope are presented. More than 12 millions photons in UBVR-bands simultaneously with time resolution of 10-7s were detected. Using the original software for search for optical pulsar period, we obtained the light curves of the object with time resolution of about 3.3 μs. Their detailed analysis gives the spectral change during pulse and subpulse, the shape of the pulse peaks, which are plateaus (with the duration of about 50 μs for the main pulse), limits for an amplitude of fine temporal (stochastic and regular) structure of pulse and sub pulse and the interpulse space intensity. The results of CCD-spectroscopy of the Crab pulsar show that its summarized spectrum is flat. There are no lines, neither emission nor absorbtion ones. Upper limit for line intensity or depth is 3.5% with the confidence probability of 95%.

        We determine analytically the onset of thin-shell formation time of fast wind bubble with power-law energy injection Ein=E0ts Ein=E0ts , and power-law ambient density structure, ρ0(r)= ¯ ρ(r/ ¯ r)−ω ρ0(r)=ρ¯(r/r¯)−ω . Thin-shell formation time, tsf tsf can be estimated by minimizing the total time elapsed before the complete cooling of shocked gas. For uniform medium (ω=0 ω=0 ) and constant energy injection (s = 1), the onset of shell formation is found to be at tsf=5.2×103yr tsf=5.2×103yr , which agrees Quite well with the results of FCT 1D numerical calculation. We solve the line transfer problem with previous result derived by numerical calculation in order to calculate line profile of [OIII] (λ=5007\AA) forbidden line. In general, radiative outer shell causes the formation of double peaked line profile. Each peak corresponds to approaching and receeding shells with large velocities. Our line profiles show good agreements with observation of expanding shell structure.

        The purposes of this study were to: a) investigate the percentage distribution and the time spent of dietetic activities and b) estimate dietitian's staffing needs in employee foodservices. In 6 employee foodservices, the dietetic activities were analyzed by work sampling methodology. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The percentage distributions of dietetic activities, delay and non-dietetic activities were 79.06, 20.39, and 1.55%, respectively; 2. The major activities of dietitians in employee foodservice were production management 21.00%, purchasing management 16.73%, record keepig 14.40%, and menu management 6.30%, 3. The total labor time per week was 3,310 min (55.16 hr) and specially the time spent on 13 dietetic activities was 2,626 min (43.77 hr). 4. The time spent per week on major activities of dietitians such as production management, purchasing management record keeping, and menu management were 693.93, 554.83, 483.99, and 205.22 min, respectively.

        This study was conducted to investigate the effects of preincubation time, concentration and exposure time of sperm on in vitro fertilization of porcine follicular oocytes rnatured in in vitro. The results obtained are as follows ; 1. Effect of preincuhation time for porcine sperm capacitation on in vitro fertilization in medium with heparin was investigated. Normal fertilization rate was highest in 15 min(26.4%). However, there were no significant differences among preincuhation times of 5~90 min, 2. Normal fertilization rates of sperm concentrations were 17.0~26.5%, and normal fertilization rate from l l05cell /ml concentration was also higher than those of other sperm concentration. 3. Normal fertilization rates of sperm exposure time of 4, 8, 12, 16 and 20 hours were 6.1, 20.8, 27.8, 25.0 and 26.7%, respectively. Normal fertilization rate from sperm exposure time of 12 hours was also higher than that of other sperm exposure times.

        Forecasts of monthly landings of walleye pollock, Theragra chalcogramma, in Korea were carried out by the seasonal Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average(ARlMA) model. The Box - Cox transformation on the walleye pollock catch data handles nonstationary variance. The equation of Box - Cox transformation was Y'=(Y0.31 1)/0.31. The model identification was determined by minimum AIC(Akaike Information Criteria). And the seasonal ARlMA model is presented (1- O.583B)(1- B1)(l- B12)Zt =(l- O.912B)(1- O.732B12)et where: Zt=value at month t ; Bp is a backward shift operator, that is, BpZt=Zt-P; and et= error term at month t, which is to forecast 24 months ahead the walleye pollock landings in Korea. Monthly forecasts of the walleye pollock landings for 1993~ 1994, which were compared with the actual landings, had an absolute percentage error(APE) range of 20.2-226.1 %. Thtal observed annual landings in 1993 and 1994 were 16, 61OM/T and 1O, 748M/T respectively, while the model predicted 10, 7 48M/T and 8, 203M/T(APE 37.0% and 23.7%, respectively).

        19세기말의 아일랜드 시인인 William Butler Yeats와 20세기 초반 영국 시인인 Thomas Stearns Eliot는 위 두편의 시에서 union의 개념을 통해 이상과 현실 사이의 부조리를 나름대로의 철학을 적용해 해결하는 방법을 제시하고 있다. 예이츠는 조국인 아일랜드가 영국으로부터 해방되기를 갈망하면서 동시에 현실에 얽매인 세속적인 인간들의 모습에 크게 실망하여, 자신의 작품을 통해 참혹한 현실에 대응하는 독특한 아일랜드의 전설과 혼합한 신비주의를 추구하고 있다. 즉 예이츠에게 union이란 개념은 두개의 서로 배타적인 세계(아일랜드의 해방운동과 현실을 초월한 신비주의)를 하나로 융합하는 것이 아니라 균형을 갈망하면서 동시에 양 세계로부터 거리를 유지․보존하려는 것을 의미한다. 그럼으로서 예이츠는 이일랜드의 민족주의 운동과 초자연적인 진실 중 어느 한쪽도 포기하지 않으며 변화시키지도 않는다. 예이츠와는 달리 엘리어트는 단편적인(fragmentary) 일상생활과 그가 그려왔던 이상의 세계를 하나로 융합하면서 조화와 완벽을 추구한다. 엘리어트는 기독교적인 신념을 바탕으로 전체적인 개념, 즉 감각과 정신의 융합(conversion of sense and spirit)을 추구하고 있는 것이다. 예이츠와 엘리어트는 제각기 다른 시적․철학적인 방법으로 union에 관한 비전에 접근하고 있으나, 이 두 시인의 궁극적인 목적은 자신들의 시적체험을 통해 이상과 현실세계간의 부조리를 해소할 수 있는 평화와 조화를 추구하는 것이다.
