        The present study aimed at selecting a cost-effective substrate for king oyster mushroom based on the growth characteristics of fruiting body for use as a basic resource to ensure stable production on farms. Compositional analysis of substrates manufactured with different materials in each process revealed that the total carbon content was 42.24–48.22% higher and the total nitrogen content was 1.7–2.29% higher in the processed lot than in the control (i.e., substrate used by the farmhouse; 40.86% and 1.39%, respectively). Meanwhile, the carbon-to-nitrogen ratio was the highest in the control (27.9% vs. 19.12–27.88% in the processed lot). When cultured for 28 days, the mycelium growth was 11.5 and 11.3 mm in substrates 1 and 6, respectively, indicating the fastest growth; meanwhile, the values were 10.1–10.3 mm in the control and substrate 11, showing a similar tendency. Mycelial density did not differ significantly among the processed lots. Yield per bottle was higher in substrates 8 (205.95 g/bottle), 7 (178.51 g/bottle), and 11 (170.63 g/bottle) than in the control (152.2 g/bottle). Fruiting body quality was comparable to controls in all processed lots. Overall, economic effects, such as substrate material prices, should be analyzed, and stability evaluations, such as residual pesticide and harmful microorganisms, should be undertaken along with further detailed examination to ensure safe and stable production on farms.

        The present study investigated the optimum additive ratio of wheat straw pellet as a substitute for beet pulp during oyster mushroom cultivation. The chemical properties across treatments were pH of 4.8–5.5, total carbon content of 45.9–46.5%, total nitrogen content of 1.5–1.7%, and carbon-to-nitrogen ratio of 27.8–31.0. Mycelial growth was the fastest in a medium containing 20% wheat straw pellet (at 88.2 mm in ‘Heuktari’ and 70.3–79.6 mm in ‘Suhan-1Ho’); however, there were no significant differences in mycelial density among the treatments. The characteristics of fruiting bodies by variety were as follows. In ‘Heuktari’, the valid stipe number per bottle (1,100 cc) was 22.5 and yield was 177.1 g/1,100 cc in the mixed medium containing 10% wheat straw pellet, with the values being comparable to those of controls. In ‘Suhan-1Ho’, the valid stipe number per bottle (1,100 cc) was 14.0 and yield was 151.2 g/1,100 cc in the mixed medium containing 10% wheat straw pellet, with the values being comparable to those of controls.

        This study analyzed Tuber melanosporum, Tuber aestivum,and Tuber magnatum, specifically the content of β-glucan, amino acids, nucleic acid-related substances, vitamin C, and ergosterol. The β-glucan content was highest in T. magnatum (20.54%). The free amino acid content was highest in T. aestivum, with the major amino acids being cystine, glutamic acid, and aspartic acid. The total amino acid content was the highest in T. magnatum, the primary amino acids being cystine, glutamic acid, and lysine. The content of nucleotide related compounds was the highest in T. magnatum (5.09 mg/100 g). The highest content of vitamin C (10.15 mg/100 g) and ergosterol (596.91 mg/100 g) was found in T. magnatum, which had the highest useful component content among the three truffles. Additional studies investigating the variation in useful components according to collection time and growth environment are needed.

        본 논문에서는 인력에 의한 외관 조사의 단점을 해결하고 터널 안전 점검의 자동화를 위하여 터널 스캐닝 영상을 통 한 영상접합 자동화 알고리즘을 제시한다. 터널 스캐닝 영상을 통한 안전 점검은 기존 인력에 의한 외관 조사에 비해 조사 기 간과 인력을 크게 줄일 수 있으며 조사자의 안전사고와 교통체증에 따른 사회적 비용을 절감할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 터널 스캐닝 영상 기반 안전 점검을 위해서는 터널 스캐닝 영상의 접합을 통하여 평면 전개 이미지 자동화 생성이 핵심이다. 터널 스캐닝 영상 기반 평면 전개 이미지 생성의 자동화를 위하여 특징점 추출 및 특징점 매칭을 통한 다중촬영 이미지 간 접합 과 정이 주요한 요소이다. 본 연구에서는 터널 평면 전개 이미지 자동화 생성의 주요 요소인 이미지 접합의 성능을 높이고 기존 접합 기술에서 발생하는 오류를 해결하기 위하여 특징점 매칭 선분의 물리적인 특성을 고려하여 매칭 정확도를 높인 기술을 제 안하였다. 터널 이미지 중 약80∼90%를 이루는 타일부와 콘크리트부를 대상으로 기존기술의 특징점 매칭 결과와 제안 기술의 특징점 매칭 결과를 비교분석 하였으며 제안 기술을 통해 매칭 성능이 향상된 것을 확인하였다.

        국내에서 공용중인 교량은 33,177개로 사회기반시설 중 가장 많은 비중을 차지한다. 이러한 교량은 공용하중, 온도, 습도 등에 의해 거더에 신축량이 발생하게 되고, 거더간 유간거리에 대한 안정성을 확보하기 위해 신축이음장치를 설치한다. 신 축이음장치에는 교량의 누수 및 퇴적물 낙하 등을 방지하기 위해 고무지수재를 설치하는 것이 일반적이다. 하지만 이러한 고무 지수재는 다양한 원인에 의해 쉽게 손상이 발생하게 된다. 손상된 고무지수재를 통해 거더의 부식, 교량하부 인명사고 등 다양 한 2차 피해가 발생할 수 있다. 이러한 피해를 예방하기 위해 교량의 유지관리를 수행하고 있지만 고무지수재 특성상 지속적인 교체는 불가피한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기존 신축이음장치에 활용되는 고무지수재의 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 초탄 성 형상기억합금을 활용한 새로운 지수재 개발 연구를 수행하였다. 초탄성 형상기억합금 지수재에 대한 유한요소해석을 수행 및 분석하였으며, 복원 효과를 통해 지속 사용 가능한 지수재 연구를 검증하였다.

        과학과 기술의 발달로 복합재료, 합금, 고강도 탄소섬유, 고분자 재료 등 지능형 소재가 개발되고 있다. 다양한 엔지 니어링 분야에서 이러한 첨단 재료의 응용을 연구하기 위해 전 세계적으로 광범위한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 초탄성 형상기억합 금(SSMA)은 깃발 모양의 히스테리시스 거동을 가지며 추가적인 열처리 없이 응력 완화로 인한 잔류 변형이 거의 없는 신뢰성 이 높은 내진 재료이다. 그러나 공학 문제에서 SSMA 효율성을 연구하기 위한 수치 모델의 개발은 여전히 어려운 작업이다. 본 연구에서는 SSMA 인장시험의 실험결과를 통해 유한요소해석 프로그램인 Abaqus와 수치해석 프로그램인 OpenSEES를 이용하여 재료 모델을 구현한 후 해석결과의 거동 특성 및 에너지 소산을 분석하였다.

        PURPOSES : Local governments in Korea, including Incheon city, have introduced the pavement management system (PMS). However, the verification of the repair time and repair section of roads remains difficult owing to the non-existence of a systematic data acquisition system. Therefore, data refinement is performed using various techniques when analyzing statistical data in diverse fields. In this study, clustering is used to analyze PMS data, and correlation analysis is conducted between pavement performance and influencing factors. METHODS : First, the clustering type was selected. The representative clustering types include K-means, mean shift, and density-based spatial clustering of applications with noise (DBSCAN). In this study, data purification was performed using DBSCAN for clustering. Because of the difficulty in determining a threshold for high-dimensional data, multiple clustering, which is a type of DBSCAN, was applied, and the number of clustering was set up to two. Clustering for the surface distress (SD), rut depth (RD), and international roughness index (IRI) was performed twice using the number of frost days, the highest temperature, and the average temperature, respectively. RESULTS : The clustering result shows that the correlation between the SD and number of frost days improved significantly. The correlation between the maximum temperature factor and precipitation factor, which does not indicate multicollinearity, improved. Meanwhile, the correlation between the RD and highest temperature improved significantly. The correlation between the minimum temperature factor and precipitation factor, which does not exhibit multicollinearity, improved considerably. The correlation between the IRI and average temperature improved as well. The correlation between the low- and high-temperature precipitation factors, which does not indicate multicollinearity, improved. CONCLUSIONS : The result confirms the possibility of applying clustering to refine PMS data and that the correlation among the pavement performance factors improved. However, when applying clustering to PMS data refinement, the limitations must be identified and addressed. Furthermore, clustering may be applicable to the purification of PMS data using AI.

        PURPOSES : The purpose of this study is to confirm the thermal expansion characteristics of concrete mixed with 1% waste glass fine aggregates, which is the amount stipulated for recycled aggregates in the current quality standard. METHODS : The coefficient of thermal expansion was measured by applying AASHTOT 336-10 using a LVDT. The results measured were used as physical properties in a finite element analysis to confirm the change in tensile stress and the displacement of the right angle section of the upper slab of a concrete pavement due to admixture substitution. RESULTS : The thermal expansion coefficients of concrete based on the replacement rate of the admixture when the waste glass fine aggregates are replaced are within the range of the thermal expansion coefficients of concrete specified in the Federal Highway Administration report. As the replacement rate of the admixture increases, the thermal expansion coefficient of concrete decreases. As the thermal expansion coefficient decreases, the slab pavement curling displacement and the tensile stress of the center of the upper slab of concrete decrease. CONCLUSIONS : In the short term, the presence or absence of waste glass fine aggregates does not significantly affect the thermal expansion coefficient of concrete. However, in the long term, waste glass fine aggregates are reactive aggregates that causes ASR, which creates an expandable gel around the aggregates and results in concrete expansion. Therefore, the relationship between ASR and the thermal expansion coefficient must be analyzed in future studies.

        PURPOSES : In this study, surface distress (SD), rutting depth (RD), and international roughness index (IRI) prediction models are developed based on the zones of Incheon and road classes using regression analysis. Regression analysis is conducted based on a correlation analysis between the pavement performance and influencing factors. METHODS : First, Incheon was categorized by zone such as industrial, port, and residential areas, and the roads were categorized into major and sub-major roads. A weather station triangle network for Incheon was developed using the Delaunay triangulation based on the position of the weather station to match the road sections in Incheon and environmental factors. The influencing factors of the road sections were matched Based on the developed triangular network. Meanwhile, based on the matched influencing factors, a model of the current performance of the road pavement in Incheon was developed by performing multiple regression analysis. Sensitivity analysis was conducted using the developed model to determine the influencing factor that affected each performance factor the most significantly. RESULTS : For the SD model, frost days, daily temperature range, rainy days, tropical nights, and minimum temperatures are used as independent variables. Meanwhile, the truck ratio, freeze–thaw days, precipitation days, annual temperature range, and average temperatures are used for the RD model. For the IRI model, the maximum temperature, freeze–thaw days, average temperature, annual precipitation, and wet days are used. Results from the sensitivity analysis show that frost days for the SD model, precipitation days and freeze–thaw days for the RD model, and wet days for the IRI model impose the most significant effects. CONCLUSIONS : We developed a road pavement performance prediction model using multiple regression analysis based on zones in Incheon and road classes. The developed model allows the influencing factors and circumstances to be predicted, thus facilitating road management.

        PURPOSES : To efficiently manage pavements, a systematic pavement management system must be established based on regional characteristics. Suppose that the future conditions of a pavement section can be predicted based on data obtained at present. In this case, a more reasonable road maintenance strategy should be established. Hence, a prediction model of the annual surface distress (SD) change for national highway pavements in Gangwon-do, Korea is developed based on influencing factors. METHODS : To develop the model, pavement performance data and influencing factors were obtained. Exploratory data analysis was performed to analyze the data acquired, and the results show that the data were preprocessed. The variables used for model development were selected via correlation analysis, where variables such as surface distress, international roughness index, daily temperature range, and heat wave days were used. Best subset regression was performed, where the candidate model was selected from all possible subsets based on certain criteria. The final model was selected based on an algorithm developed for rational model selection. The sensitivity of the annual SD change was analyzed based on the variables of the final model. RESULTS : The result of the sensitivity analysis shows that the annual SD change is affected by the variables in the following order: surface distress ˃ heat wave days ˃ daily temperature range ˃ international roughness index. CONCLUSIONS : An annual SD change prediction model is developed by considering the present performance, traffic volume, and climatic conditions. The model can facilitate the establishment of a reasonable road maintenance strategy. The prediction accuracy can be improved by obtaining additional data, such as the construction quality, material properties, and pavement thickness.

        국내 생산 감로꿀의 기능성 식품 소재로 활용하기 위하여 DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picryl hydrazyl)와 ABTS [2,2-azobis (3-ethylbenzothiazoline- 6-sulfonate)] 라디칼 소거능, FRAP (Ferric reducing antioxidant power) 활성, 총 폴리페놀 함량 분석을 통하여 항산화 활 성을 평가하였다. 국내 생산 감로꿀은 DPPH와 ABTS 라디칼 소거 활성을 보였으며 최고농도 10 mg/mL에서 DPPH에 비하여 ABTS 라디칼 소거능이 3배 이상 높게 측정되었다. FRAP 분석에서는 ferric ion (Fe3+)를 126 μM의 ferrous (Fe2+)로 환원시켰다. 또한, 국내 생산 감로꿀에 함유된 폴리페놀성 화합물의 총량은 73.41 mg GAE/kg로 확인되었다. 이상의 연구결과에 비추어 볼 때, 국내 생산 감로꿀의 우수한 라디칼 소 거능과 환원력을 가지며 천연 항산화제로 알려진 페놀성 화합물을 존재로 인하여 항산화 활성을 가지는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구결과는 국내 생산 감로꿀의 기능성 식품 소재로 활용할 수 있는 기초자료로 제공하는 바이다.

        콩명나방은 콩과작물 특히 팥을 가해하는 해충으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구는 콩명나방의 생물적 특징을 알아보기 위해 발육단계별 발육기 간, 성충의 수명과 번식능력을 13, 16, 19, 22, 25, 28, 31, 34°C 항온조건에서 조사하였다. 알은 모든 항온조건에서 부화하였고 유충은 16~ 31°C 온도조건에서 성공적으로 성충까지 발육을 완료하였다. 알의 발육기간은 31°C까지 온도가 상승할수록 짧아지다가 이후 온도에서 길어지 는 경향을 보였다. 유충, 번데기의 발육기간과 성충수명은 온도가 상승할수록 감소하였다. 콩명나방 발육단계별 발육 최저, 최고 한계는 LRF와 SSI모델을 이용하여 계산하였고 발육영점온도와 유효적산온일도는 선형회귀분석을 이용하였다. 1령 유충 부화부터 성충출현까지의 발육영점온 도와 유효적산온일도는 12.8°C와 280.8DD였다. SSI모델을 이용하여 추정한 부화부터 성충출현까지 발육최저 및 최고온도는 14.2°C과 31.9°C였고 이들간의 차이 즉 발육적정온도범위는 17.7°C였다. 온도와 관련된 콩명나방 성충의 생존, 수명, 산란기간, 산란수 자료들을 이용하 여 산란모형을 작성하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 온도발육모형과 산란모형은 야외에서 콩명나방의 개체군동태를 이해하고 콩과작물의 종합적인 해충군관리체계 확립에 기여할 것으로 보인다.

        We analyzed work safety risk factors, which are likely to occur during fishing in gillnet fishing vessels using the written verdict of the Korea Maritime Safety Tribunal from 2016 to 2020, and considered work safety management. Of the total of 37 fatal accidents, three cases in the East Sea, six cases in the South Sea, and 28 cases in the West Sea were very frequent. The accident rate per vessel by sea area (%) was 0.08% in East Sea, 0.12% in South Sea, and 0.40% in the West Sea. Based on the East Sea, the number of fatal accidents was 1.6 times higher in the South Sea and 5.4 times higher in the West Sea. Six cases (16.2%) occurred during departure and preparation for fishing in the fishing process, and all other 31 cases (83.8%) occurred during fishing operation. In the order of accident types, 21 cases (56.8%) of being struck by object, eight cases (21.6%) of contact with machinery and six cases (16.2%) of falls from height were found to be fatal accidents in gillnet fishery. Human factors, such as fishers’ carelessness and negligent safety management by captain accounted for 27 cases (73.0%) of the main cause, and 35 cases (94.6%) of the secondary cause. In addition to human factors such as fisher’s carelessness and negligent safety management by captain, mechanical factors, environmental factors and management factors must be improved together to reduce human casualties. These results are expected to be utilized as basic data for reducing safety accidents during the work of fishers.

        To provide information needed for managing fish resources and protecting the ecosystem of Cheonsu Bay, bimonthly variations in species composition and abundance of fish eggs and larvae were investigated. The samples were collected by using bongo net at three different stations from February 2020 to December 2021. Fish eggs were divided into Engrualis japonicus and unidentified eggs, of which Engragulis japonicus accounted for 85.6% of the total eggs collected. A total of 21 species representing 17 families and 6 orders were collected. The three dominant species were Gobiidae spp, Thryssa hamiltonii and E. japonicus and these three species accounted for 74.1% in the total number of individuals. The number of species was highest in August, 2020 and lowest in February, 2020 and 2021; the number of individuals was highest in August, 2020 and lowest in February, 2020. Temporal changes in the abundances of pelagic eggs and larval fishes corresponded with temperature.

        Purpose: This study aimed to explore university students’ experiences of participating in online classes during the COVID-19 outbreak. Methods: A survey was conducted with 169 third- and fourth-year students at five universities in W City from May 5 to 22, 2021 through an online survey platform. Qualitative data were collected from 13 third- and fourth-year students at five universities in the same area through three focus group interviews between May 22 and 25 and analyzed through qualitative content analysis. Results: The experience of online classes was rated in the following order: live lectures (92.9%) and recorded lectures (73.4%). Satisfaction with online classes was rated for recorded lectures, which were scored 3.54±1.05 (out of five), and live lectures, which were scored 3.32±1.02. Lack of interaction with faculty (37.9%) and lack of participating practicum (30.8%) were cited as dissatisfaction factors in online classes. From the qualitative data, five sub-themes were identified: “not being respected in one’s learning”, “increased burden of learning in a situation of poor communication,” “it's not that I hate online classes”, “efforts to improve the loose will and attitude toward classes”, “reduced quality of experience and uncertain future”. These sub-themes were abstracted under the theme of “everyday life of learning alone toward an uncertain future”. Conclusion: To ensure more effective online learning, it is necessary to strengthen the interaction between faculty and students, apply online teaching strategies suitable for class objectives, and support various programs to motivate students for self-directed learning.

        이 논문은 베이스 기타의 리듬 그루브에 영향을 끼치는 요소들을 분석하여 연주자와 편곡자 그 리고 프로듀서들이 좀 더 리드미컬한 연주와 다양한 리듬의 표현이 가능할 수 있도록 하는 목적을 가지고 연구하였다. 연구 방법은 리듬 그루브에 영향을 끼칠 수 있는 요소인 음의 길이, 엑센트, 타이밍, 화성 및 선율, 딕션, 데시벨, 빠르기, 피치, 음색 중에서 베이스 기타에 적용할 수 있는 요소인 첫째 음의 노트 변화, 둘째 음의 피치 변화, 셋째 음의 엑센트 변화, 넷째 음의 톤 변화, 다섯째 음의 길이 변화, 여섯째 음의 데시벨 변화의 샘플을 만들어 각 실험군에게 듣게 한 후 가장 리듬 그루브의 변화를 느낀 번호를 선택하는 방식으로 이루어졌다. 연구결과, 가장 그루브의 변화 에 영향을 끼치는 요소 중 유의미한 결과는 음의 길이 변화 (35.2%), 음의 엑센트 변화 (19.3%), 음의 톤의 변화 (17%), 음의 노트 변화 (13.6%)로 나타났으며 흥미로운 것은 악기를 직접 연주하 는 기악 전공은 54%로 음의 길이 변화에서 압도적으로 리듬 그루브의 변화를 느꼈다는 것이었다. 이 실험에서 도출된 유의미한 결과 값을 잘 적용한다면 베이스 기타의 연주와 편곡, 프로듀싱에서 리듬 그루브의 표현방법이 확장될 수 있을 것으로 예측하였다. 이번 연구는 다양한 장르와 스타일 과 복합적 요소가 결합 된 샘플을 제공하지 못하는 한계를 가지고 있으며 이후 연구에서 복합적 실험이 이루어진다면 많은 음악 환경에 따른 그루브의 변화를 도출해 낼 수 있을 것으로 예측하고 제언하였다.
