India has been a member of the BRICS group since 2009. It has been a staunch advocate for the synergistic power. Their summits have focused on a wide range of topics, all of which share the common goal of reorganizing the global economic and political order. The BRICS nations have together accomplished several significant milestones which include the establishment of the New Development Bank, the BRICS Payment System, collaborative anti-terror programs, climate mitigation, green energy, and other such initiatives. South Africa played home to the 15th BRICS Summit, which took place in the August of 2023 and was centered around the theme of “BRICS and Africa: Partnership for Mutually Accelerated Growth, Sustainable Development, and Inclusive Multilateralism.” This essay considers issues from an Indian perspective that may pop up in the future BRICS summit.

한류는 음악, 영화, 드라마를 중심으로 점차 연유되어 현재는 케이팝 아이돌 산업에서 큰 강점을 보 인다. 아이돌 그룹은 스토리텔링을 바탕으로 자신들만의 견고한 세계관을 구축해나가고 있으며 아이돌 스토리텔링에 관한 선행연구 조사 결과, 방탄소년단의 논문들이 대부분이었다. 이들의 소속사인 하이 브는 웹툰을 통해 스토리텔링을 적극적으로 활용해오고 있었다. 반면 같은 소속사에 웹툰과 같이 스토 리텔링이 탄탄한 엔하이픈에 관련된 논문은 아직 자료가 미비하다. 이들은 롯데월드와의 콜라보, 스파 오와의 협업 등 세계관 웹툰을 현실에 적용시켰다. 콘텐츠로만 존재하던 세계관을 이렇게 여러 방면으 로 활발히 넓혀왔음에도 불구하고 지금까지 엔하이픈을 연구한 논문들 중 영상 분석을 통해 스토리텔 링을 자세히 연구한 논문이 없었다. 따라서 엔하이픈의 데뷔 트레일러 영상 2편을 웹툰과 데뷔 앨범 컨셉을 중심으로 한 분석을 통해 이들의 세계관과 스토리텔링을 어떻게 설정하고 어떤 식으로 전개하 였는지 알아보았다. 본 연구는 엔하이픈의 스토리텔링 홍보 수단으로 웹툰을 어떻게 이용하고, 앨범 컨셉과 세계관의 연결성을 통해 스토리텔링을 어떻게 효과적으로 보여주는지에 대한 시사점을 도출하 는 것에 목적을 두고 있다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 웹툰에 나타나는 요소들이 데뷔 트레일러 에서도 비슷하게 연계된다는 것을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 앨범에서 보여주는 두 가지의 시간 개념을 색상을 통해 세계관과 결합시켜 전개하였다. 셋째, 영상은 모두 하이픈을 통해 전개되어 통일성을 이루고 있 다.

『Hasimdangga Eumsikbeop』 is the second cookbook discovered in the Honam region. It is believed to have been copied by Hong Ju-song between the late 1800s and early 1900s, and excluding the missing parts, it contains a total of 14 items, including 7 liquor items and 7 general food items. Judging from the proofreading marks, it was not considered a complete creation. However, it was confirmed that the book was not influenced by existing ancient cookbooks from the Seoul-Gyeonggi, Chungcheong, and Yeongnam areas. Therefore, it is highly likely that the book was based on an undiscovered recipe book from an ancient family. It is valuable as a basis for comparative research on regional food culture in the traditional era in that the manufacturing methods, ingredient quantities, and description methods are different from existing cookbooks in many ways and contain unique terminologies and regional dialects.

본 연구는 초등학생이 인식한 학교 만족도와 교사와의 관계, 부모와의 관계가 학생 주도성에 미치는 직접적인 영향과 자아효능감을 매개로 한 간접적인 영향을 구조적으로 밝히는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연 구의 대상은 서울시교육청에서 2010~2018년 동안 실시한 서울교육종단연구 1차년도의 초등학교 4학 년 패널 4,326명이다. 이를 토대로 구조방정식 모형을 구성하여 변인 간 구조적 관계 및 매개효과를 분석하였으며 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학생이 인식한 학교 만족도는 자아효능감과 학생 주 도성에 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 학생과 교사와의 긍정적 관계는 자아효능감과 학생 주도성에 정적으 로 유의하였다. 셋째, 자녀와 부모와의 원만한 관계는 자아효능감과 학생 주도성에 통계적으로 유의하 며, 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 자아효능감은 학생 주도성에 정적 영향을 미쳤으며, 학교 만족도, 교사 와의 관계, 부모와의 관계와 학생 주도성을 각각 정적으로 매개하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 학교 만족 도, 교사와의 관계, 부모와의 관계, 자아효능감, 학생 주도성 간의 구조적 관계를 규명한 뒤 이 연구결 과를 바탕으로 학생 주도성에 대한 시사점을 밝히고 지원방안을 제언하였다.

The armillary sphere, an astronomical observation device embodying the Orbital Heaven Theory of the Later Han Dynasty in China, holds both historical and scientific significance. It has been produced in various forms by many individuals since its inception in the era of King Sejong in the Joseon Dynasty. A prominent figure in this field was Nam Byeong-cheol (南秉哲, 1817-1863), known for his work 'Uigijipseol' (儀器輯說), published in 1859, which detailed the history, production methods, and usage of the armillary sphere. This text particularly highlights 21 applications of the armillary sphere, divided into 33 measurements, covering aspects like installation, time, and positional measurements, supplemented with explanations of spherical trigonometry. Despite numerous records of the armillary sphere's design during the Joseon Dynasty, detailed usage information remains scarce. In this study, the 33 measurements described in 'Uigijipseol' (儀器輯說) were systematically classified into six for installation, nineteen for position measurement, seven for time measurement, and one for other purposes. Additionally, the measurement methods were analyzed and organized by dividing them into the ecliptic ring, moving equatorial ring, and fixed equatorial ring of the armillary sphere. In other words, from a modern astronomical perspective, the results of schematization for each step were presented by analyzing it from the viewpoint of longitude, right ascension, and solar time. Through the analysis of Nam's armillary sphere, this study not only aims to validate the restoration model of the armillary sphere but also suggests the potential for its use in basic astronomical education based on the understanding of the 19th-century Joseon armillary sphere.

16세기에 제작된 초기 낙중낙외도 병풍의 고찰을 통하여 사방위와 사계절을 결합하여 표 현되는 3차원의 시공간 표현의 기원을 살펴보았다. 동아시아에서는 예로부터 사계절의 순환 을 통한 새로운 봄의 시각화는 우주 만물의 순조로운 운행과 이상향을 상징하는 주제였다. 특히 정월은 해가 바뀌고 처음으로 돌아오는 달로 새해의 풍년과 안녕을 기원하는 중요한 시 기이며, 12달 중에 예축적인 세시풍속이 가장 많이 집중된 달이었다. 이 기념비적인 병풍은 초토화된 교토를 재건하면서 도시의 번영을 기원하고 예축하는 의미를 지녔다. 초기 낙중낙 외도 병풍의 곳곳에 이들의 예축활동이 세밀하게 묘사된 것은 도시도 병풍이라는 매체가 지 닌 예축의 기능에 충실히 부합하는 선택된 화제였다고 생각된다. 16세기의 낙중낙외도 병풍에는 사방사계의 아름다움으로 장엄미를 강조하는 중세회화의 면모와 미시적이고 다양한 인간 양태의 묘사에 집중하는 근세 풍속화로의 태동이 모두 감지 된다는 점에서 그 의의를 찾을 수 있다.

The new biography of Jin Yunqiao published in the 19th year of Si De of Vietnam (1866) is the earliest version of “The New Jin Yun Qiao Biography” discovered at present. The text of “The New Jin Yun Qiao Biography” is divided into two columns, the upper column is a six-character poem, and the lower column is an eight-character poem, with a total of 2390 sentences and 16724 muttering words. The relationship between Nom characters in the book and Vietnamese recorded is complex. Through investigation, there are three situations: one word with many words, one word with many words and one word with one word. There are many words in a word, which can be subdivided into homophones, near sounds and different meanings, and near sounds and near meanings according to the sound and meaning relationship between words. According to the relationship between characters and their use functions, the word multi-character can be subdivided into “native use-native use”, “native use-borrowing” and “borrowing use-borrowing”. Word by word, according to the different use attributes, can be divided into two categories: “original use” and “borrowing”. The reason for the complex relationship between words and characters is related to the low standardization of Nom and Vietnamese. A Nom has many written variants, and a Vietnamese vocabulary has many phonetic expressions.

본 연구의 목적은 독립 이후 보고타의 수도 위상에 대한 논쟁과 대립 이 19세기 각기 다른 정치 엘리트 그룹 간의 경쟁 구조와 어떤 상관성 을 가지고 있는지에 관해 분석하는 것이다. 콜롬비아의 경우, 독립 이 후 지역을 기반으로 각기 다른 엘리트 그룹의 정치·경제적 이해관계가 형성되는 독특한 정치 구조를 구축하였다. 이러한 엘리트 그룹 간의 정 치 경쟁 구조는 19세기 동안 아홉 차례의 무력 갈등을 발생시켰고, 이 과정에서 수도 보고타의 위상에 대한 논쟁을 유발하였다. 보고타를 중심 으로 한 전통적인 엘리트 세력이 보고타의 수도 위상을 유지하게 되면서 이를 공고히 하기 위한 전략으로 철도 건설 프로젝트를 통해 근대화 발 전을 시도했다. 본 연구는 수도 이전을 둘러싼 정치적 경쟁 구조 논의를 보고타의 사례로 분석했다는 점에서 의의를 가진다.

This study examines the significance and problems of the Fourth Amendment to the Fisheries Act, which went into effect in January 2023. Following the passage of the Aquaculture Industry Development Act, the fourth amendment to the Fisheries Act sought to reform the fisheries legislative framework, while also including significant changes. In particular, a number of new systems for managing fishing gear have been implemented, and local governments now have some autonomy in fisheries management, which has allowed for adjustments to be made to meet the needs of the fishing industry and changes in socioeconomic situations. However, as independent legislation for each fisheries sector continues, the subject of regulation under the Fisheries Act, as well as the Act's position as a basic legal system, has been continuously reduced, overshadowing the Act's objective. As a result, a full-fledged assessment of changing the legislation's name in the future is required, as well as addressing issues such as the lack of difference in the legislative purpose clause and the necessity for further revision of the definition clause. Therefore, any future revisions to the Fisheries Act should aim to overhaul the existing framework, including fishing licenses and permits.

최근 우리사회에서 젠더갈등이 지역, 이념, 세대와 더불어 새로운 갈등 으로 부상하는 가운데 20대 대통령선거를 통해 유권자의 관심이 집중되 었다. 본 연구의 목적은 청년세대 남녀 간 갈등으로 취급되었던 젠더갈 등 이슈가 20대 대통령선거에서 쟁점으로 부각되면서 유권자의 주요 정 당 대통령후보에 대한 평가와 투표선택에 어떤 영향을 주었는가를 경험 적으로 분석하는 것이다. 당시 논쟁이 되었던 젠더갈등 이슈로 여성가족 부 폐지를 비롯해 여성할당제 폐지, 여성 병역의무화, 남성 육아휴직이 며, 주요 정당의 대선후보 평가를 후보 호감도와 국정운영 능력 평가로 분석한 결과 윤석열 후보와 이재명 후보의 호감도와 국정운영 능력 평가 전반에 지속적으로 영향을 미친 젠더갈등 이슈는 여성가족부 폐지였다. 또한 여성가족부 폐지 외 두 후보의 평가에 영향을 준 젠더갈등 이슈는 여성 병역의무화와 남성 육아휴직이었다. 마지막으로 두 후보에 대한 유 권자의 투표결정에 영향을 준 젠더갈등 이슈는 여성가족부 폐지로, 여성 가족부 폐지가 유권자의 대선 후보자에 대한 전반적인 평가는 물론 투표 선택에도 결정적 영향을 준 선거의 쟁점 이슈임을 여실히 증명했다.

This study examined the structural characteristics of the royal tomb equipped with only rail stones in the early Joseon Dynasty. Bongneung(封陵: the burial mound of royal tomb) equipped with only rail stones was constructed from 1468 to 1632. During this period, Hyeongung(玄宮: the underground chamber for the coffin of the king or queen) was constructed with lime. When the Hyeongung is completed, the soil is covered with a thickness of 1 foot parallel to the ground surface. On top of that, as the base of the Bongneung, the rail ground stone is constructed with a height of about 1.5 to 2 feet. The inside of the rail ground stone is also firmly filled with soil. On top of this, semicircular lime is installed with a convex center. Lastly the soil is divided and compacted several times to form a hill, and then covered with grass to complete the Bongneung. The notable feature is that between the Hyeongung made of lime and the Bongneung made of soil, the rail ground stone serves as a stylobate with the inside compacted by the soil.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the association between household economic changes by COVID-19 and dietary habits in Korean adolescents. The study analyzed data from the 17th Korea Youth Risk Behavior Survey in 2021. A total of 54,848 middle and high school students, 28,401 males and 26,447 females, participated in this study. COVID-19 lead to deterioration of household economy in the lower level of household economic status (p<0.001). The deterioration of household economic status by COVID-19 was associated with dietary habits such as lower breakfast intake, and higher fast food, soda drinks, and sweet drinks consumption (p<0.001). Logistic regression analysis showed that deterioration of household economic status was significantly decreased in frequency of breakfast intake (OR: 0.73, 95% CI: 0.67~0.80). The deterioration of household economic status by COVID-19 was also significantly associated with increased frequency of fast food (OR: 1.28, 95% CI: 1.16~1.41), soda drinks (OR: 1.42, 95% CI: 1.30~1.56) and sweet drinks (OR: 1.35, 95% CI: 1.24~1.46) consumption (p<0.001). In conclusion, it was confirmed that the change in household economy caused by COVID-19 was associated with dietary habits in adolescents. As the household economy deteriorated, there was an increase in undesirable dietary habits including skipping breakfast and fast food consumption.

This paper elucidates the novel direction of food research in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution characterized by personalized approaches. Since conventional approaches for identifying novel food materials for health benefits are expensive and time-consuming, there is a need to shift towards AI-based approaches which offer more efficient and costeffective methods, thus accelerating progress in the field of food science. However, relevant research papers in this field present several challenges such as regional and ethnic differences and lack of standardized data. To tackle this problem, our study proposes to address the issues by acquiring and normalizing food and biological big data. In addition, the paper demonstrates the association between heath status and biological big data such as metabolome, epigenome, and microbiome for personalized healthcare. Through the integration of food-health-bio data with AI technologies, we propose solutions for personalized healthcare that are both effective and validated.

본 연구는 유럽 음악의 영향을 크게 받은 영국 예술가곡의 역사적 흐름과 발전을 정리하고 이를 바탕으로 영국 작곡가들 을 특정된 20세기에는 작곡한 예술가곡에서 나타난 고유한 문 화적, 음악적 특징, 내면적 감정 그리고 시적 운율 등을 제시하 고자 한다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 먼저, 영국 가곡 의 역사적인 흐름을 다섯 개 시기로 나누어 정리하여 설명하였 다. 20세기 영국 유명한 작곡가들은 자기 나라의 시인을 선호 하는 배경으로 인해 음악을 시와 연결하여 작곡하는 사실을 제 시하고 당시 예술가곡의 일반적인 특징을 파악하는 동시에 연 가곡 <A Cycle of Life>을 예로 들어 20세기 영국 예술가곡에 나타난 선율, 조성 등 음악적 특징을 구체적으로 파악하였다. 마지막으로 이를 통해, 20세기 영국 예술가곡의 특징을 조합적 으로 정리하였다. 이로 도출된 결과는 연가곡 <A Cycle of Life>를 연주하고 표현하는 데에 유용한 참고자료로 된 것으로 판단된다. 음악연구자 또는 성악연주자로서, 20세기 영국 예술 가곡에 관한 이해를 넓히며, 이를 비롯한 다른 20세기 영국 예 술가곡을 연구하는 데에 도움 되길 바란다.
