한국사회에서 증가되어 온 성범죄에 대해 기존의 권위주의 정권은 형벌의 강화 외 에도 전자감시 등 다양한 가외성(redundancy) 장치의 보안처분을 시행해 왔다. 특히 2010년에 제정된 성충동 약물치료제도(화학적 거세)는 성범죄자에 대한 보안처분 중 에서도 가장 강력한 처분으로 여러 인권적 문제가 제기되어 왔다. 이에 따라 이 제도의 개선을 위한 많은 선행연구들이 나왔다. 그러나 기존의 선행연구들이 제도의 보완론과 수정론에 그치는 근본적 한계가 있고 동시에 법적, 형사정책적 등의 비학제적인 단선적 측면에서 접근한 한계가 있다. 학제적 접근으로 이해해야만 하는 한국의 성충동 약물치료제도는 권위적 정치체제의 공리주의적 이념, 선정성을 깊고도 은밀히 깔고 있는 한국의 상업 저널리즘, 엄격한 성 문화의 전통, 시민들에 대한 정치사회화와 미디어리터러시에 대한 교육의 부족으로 인하여 극장의 우상과 상징폭력에 대한 상징 세뇌의 심화, 보수주의와 보안 관료레짐의 역사에 기인한 패널 포퓨리즘의 역사, 정치적 이해관계 등이 역동적으로 작용하여 만들어진 야만적이고 잔인한 국가폭력이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 성충동 약물치료에 깊이 숨겨진 파시즘적인 상징폭력과 반인권적 속성을 독창적으로 주장하고 동법의 전면적 폐지의 당위성을 주장하였다.

In this study, we isolated and identified an aggregation-sex pheromone from Monochamus saltuarius, the major insectvector of the pine wood nematode in Korea. Adult male of M. saltuarius produces 2-undecyloxy-1-ethanol, which is knownto be an aggregation-sex pheromone in other Monochamus species. We performed field experiments to determine the attractivenessof the pheromone and other synergists. More M. saltuarius adult beetles were attracted to traps baited with the pheromonethan to unbaited traps. Ethanol and (-)-α-pinene interacted synergistically with the pheromone. Traps baited with pheromone+(-)-α-pinene+ethanol were more attractive to M. saltuarius adults than traps baited with pheromone, (-)-α-pinene, or ethanol alone.Ipsenol, ipsdienol, and limonene were also identified as synergists of the aggregation-sex pheromone for M. saltuarius adults.

본 연구는 성범죄 수형자의 심리사회적 변화를 위해 음악치료 프로그램을 적용 실시하여 효과성을 분석하고자 하였다. 그 결과 음악치료 프로그램에 대한 긍정적 영향을 나타내는 표본의 변화를 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 우울조사에서 긍정적인 변화가 감지되었다. 개인의 심리정서적 측면에 해당되는 우울 정도는 음악치료를 통해 변화를 보일 가능성에 대한 증거를 보여 준 것이라 할 수 있다. 통계적으로는 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 일부 연구대상자들 가운데는 음악치료가 진행됨에도 불구하고 계속해서 우울과 분노, 불안이 높아지고, 자아존중감과 타인에 대한 공감 능력이 오히려 낮아진 경우도 있었다. 이러한 현상을 보이는 연구대상자에 대해서는 집중적인 관찰의 필요성과 그 이유에 대한 원인 파악이 이루어져야 할 것이다. 음악치료프로그램의 만족도 조사에 대해서는 연구대상자들 대부분이 음악치료에 대한 소감이 매우 좋았다고 응답하였다. 이는 음악을 중재로 한 치료프로그램은 성범죄 수형자의 심리사회 재활에 긍정적 영향을 미친다는 것을 의미한다. 따라서 본 연구는 성범죄 수형자의 재범 방지를 위해 음악치료의 필요성과 방법론적인 접근법을 제시하는 데 함의를 도출하였다.

경남과 전남지역의 단감원에서 밤알락명나방의 발생소장과 성페로몬샘의 성분별 및 트랩 종류별 유인력을 조사하였다. 2014년부터 2016 년까지 발생소장을 조사한 결과, 밤알락명나방은 년 3회 발생하는 것으로 조사되었다. 각 세대 성충의 발생시기는 월동세대는 4월 상순-5월 하순, 제1세대는 6월 상순-7월 하순, 제2세대는 8월 상순-10월 중순이었다. 성페로몬샘 성분별 유인력은 (Z9,E12)-tetradeca-9,12-dien-1-ol (Z9, E12-14OH) 단독 루어가 (Z)-tetradec-9-en-1-ol (Z9-14OH) 단독 루어보다 유인력이 뛰어났으며, 두 물질을 9:1로 혼합한 루어와 차이가 없었 다. 깔대기 트랩과 흰색 및 붉은색 트랩을 비교해 본 결과 트랩 종류 간에는 유인수의 차이가 없었다.

The nesting behavior, reproduction, fruit set and shape of O. cornifrons varied significantly with the released sex ratio of O. cornifrons. A female : male sex ratio of 1 : 2 was resulted in a 3.4 to 6.7 fold higher than other sex ratio in a nesting behavior. A ratio of 1 : 2 resulted in a 1.2-fold nesting rate, which was slightly higher than other nesting rates. Releasing only males resulted in a 2.4-fold greater amount of fruit set in non-pollinated sites. A sex ratio of 1 : 2 gave a slightly higher shape index and a 1.2 to 1.6-fold lower asymmetric index than other sex ratios. There was no significant difference between female release numbers in fruit set, and 100 to 200 females gave a slightly higher shape index than 400 females. Thus, we determined that 200 females should be released per 2,000㎡ and that the sex ratio of females to males should be 1 : 2.

The tobacco cutworm, Spodoptera litura(Fabricius), is a major pest of tomato and frequently demands control measures. The timing of insecticide application is a key factor in determining its efficiency, so an experiment was designed to investigate this. Application of insecticide was based on three criteria: (i) the number of trap-caught moths in a Delta-type trap with a commercial sex pheromone lure placed in the center of the target area, soon after plant emergence; (ii) the percentage of plants exhibiting pinhole-type damage (10% or 20%) and (iii) the percentage of plants exhibiting shot hole-type damage (10% or 20%) compared to a check plot without any control measures. We found that the number of trap-caught moths was, compared to the other methods, the best means of deciding on insecticide application in tomato plant to control the tobacco cutworm. Using pheromone traps, we obtained the best performance of the insecticide Shinnago, causing > 90% larval mortality. Without insecticide application, tomato yield reduction due to the tobacco cutworm larva damage was 27%.

이 연구의 목적은 성범죄자의 교정시설 수용 이후 가족관계 실태를 알아보고, 성범죄자 집단별 가족관계 정도와 가족지원 욕구를 파악함으로써 효과적인 가족지원방안을 모색하고자 하는 연구이다. 교정시설 수감 중인 성범죄자들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 성범죄 발생 이후 가족과의 관계 실태와 집단별 가족관계 정도를 분석하였다. 본 연구결과에 의하면 성범죄자들은 성범죄 발생 이후 가족과의 연락을 자주 못하며, 이혼과 같은 가족해체를 경험했다. 또한 성범죄자 가족들은 정신적 충격, 경제적 어려움 등의 피해를 호소하고 있었다. 따라서 성범죄자들의 가족관계 강화를 위해 교정시설 내에서 가족 간의 접촉 기회를 늘리고, 편안한 분위기에서 가족들이 면담할 수 있는 공간을 마련해 주어야 한다. 부모교육과 부부관계 개선을 위한 프로그램을 진행하고, 성범죄자들의 개별 상황에 맞춘 가족지원 프로그램이 강화되어야 한다. 지역사회 민간기관 및 전문가들과 연계하여 다양한 치료 프로그램이 실시될 수 있도록 교정현장의 개방화가 이루어져야 한다.

예이츠는 그의 시에서 성적인 은유와 죽음이라는 소재를 즐겨 다루었다. 이는 그의 초기시부터 후기시까지 상당히 광범하게 나타나는 현상인데 이를 다룬 초 기와 중기 그리고 후기의 시들을 비교해보면 성적인 메타포와 죽음에 대한 소재가 그 의 시적 또는 영적, 정치적 메시지를 전달하는데 중요한 모티브로 사용되고 있음을 알 수 있다. 초기에는 사후 또는 영의 세계로의 유혹의 도구로 사용되다가 중기에 이르러 서는 죽은 아이리쉬 영웅들을 기억 속에서 소생시키려는 그의 의도를 느낀다. 후기에 는 정치적 종교적 사회적 분열이 가져온 한 정치적 영웅의 죽음을 반추하며 이러한 극한대립을 화해하고 녹이기 위한 비전으로 승화시킨다.

우리나라의 성폭력 문제는 날이 갈수록 심각해지고 있으며 성폭행 사건이 잇따라 발생하면서 성폭력에 대한 국민들의 경각심은 단순한 공포와 염려의 수준을 벗어나 폭발적인 분노에 이르고 있다. 성폭력범죄를 줄이기 위해서는 처벌을 강화하는 것도 중요하지만 무엇보다 사전 예방교육이 우선되어야 한다. 이에 따라 법무부는 2012년부터 교정시설에 수용중인 성범죄 재범 고위험 군에 대한 과학적인 평가 및 분석과 체계적이고 집중적인 심리치료를 통하여 출소 후 사회의 안전을 확보하고 재범방지에 기여하고자 교정심리치료프로그램을 실시하고 있다. 본 연구는 교정시설에 수용중인 성폭력사범 중 2014년 3월부터 2015년 1월 사이에 16개 집단 190명을 대상으로 법무부 교정본부 성폭력사범 기본교육 매뉴얼을 적용하여 실시한 후, 자아존중감, 강간 통념, 아동 성추행, 성대응 전략, 분노, 충동성, 고독감에 대한 인지적 변화를 살펴보았다. 프로그램의 만족도에 대한 설문지 분석 결과 67%~ 83%의 긍정적인 평가를 하였으며, 사전사후 척도검사 결과, 자아존중감 척도, 강간통념 척도, 상태특성-분노표현 척도, 충동성 척도, 아동 성추행 척도, UCLA 고독감 척도, 성을 이용한 대응 척도에서 긍정적인 변화가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 향후 연구에서는 다양한 측정도구를 활용하여 그 효과를 다각도로 분석하고 성폭력 가해자의 성에 대한 인지왜곡을 수정하고 감소시키기 위한 다양한 집단상담 프로그램을 개발하려는 지속적인 연구가 필요하다.

This study was conducted to estimate growth curve parameters by sex in Korean native Goat. Weight-age data from 148 male goats and 169 female goats raised at Animal Genetic Resources Research Center in Korea were used in this study. Growth curve parameters were estimated from nonlinear regression using Gompertz and Logistic models. Mature weight ( ) and growth rate () of male goats were 50.0 kg, and 0.0038, respectively, when Gompertz model was used. They were 47.9 kg and 0.0062, respectively, when Logistic model was used. In female goats, mature weight ( ) and growth rate () were 35.8 kg and 0.0030, respectively, when Gompertz model was used. They were 34.6 kg and 0.0046 when Logistic model was used. The goodness of fit determined by R2 was higher in the Gompertz model than that in the Logistic model. The growth curve functions estimated from the Gompertz model in Korean-native male and female goats were , respectively. The inflection point () showed that the maximum growth rate and the weight at inflection (  ) estimated from the Gompertz model were 234.8 days and 18.37 kg, respectively, in male goats. They were 235.7 days and 13.16 kg, respectively, in female goats. The growth pattern of Korean-native goats obtained from this study might be useful for determining their feeding and management plans by sex and design breeding strategies.

Increase of bovine embryos produced by in vitro fertilization (IVF) has been seen. The main reason for producing in vitro fertilized embryos in Korea has been to utilize the genetics of cows with higher carcass grade. Ovaries are collected from the cows in the slaughter house and the information on the carcass grade of the cow can be traced. Embryos produced from cows with higher carcass grade have been favored by the farmers. PCR has been one of the main techniques for sex determination of embryos targeting various genes. Bovine sex determining region Y (SRY) is specific to Y chromosome. However, it requires a control gene for PCR, if the embryo is female. In comparison to SRY, amelogenin can be amplified from male or female embryos with different fragment sizes due to differential splicing in all bovidae. The goal of this study was to determine whether there are any differences in the sex ratio of embryos produced in vitro and to compare the efficiency of sex determination using PCR. Ovaries of Hanwoo were collected and transported to the laboratory in thermal bottles. For in vitro maturation, oocytes were collected from the follicles with less than 8 mm of diameter and placed in either the Brackett & Oliphant media (BO), Tissue culture medium-199 (TCM-199), or IVMD101 media, containing 3% fetal bovine serum (FBS), 0.5 mg/ml FSH, 0.5 mg/ml LH, and 1 mg/ml estradiol-17β. For IVF, frozen sperm from Hanwoo bulls were used. After 22-24h IVF, embryos were transferred and cultured either in BO or TCM-199 with 10% FBS until the embryos were hatched. Hatched blastocysts were stored in PBS frozen, and later thawed and treated with embryo lysis buffer. After isolating genomic DNA, it was used for PCR using primers for casein beta (CSN2), as PCR control, or for male specific SRY primers. Alternatively, primers for amelogenin were used. Sex of embryos was determined and the sex ratio was analyzed. Out of 94 embryos, sex of 83 embryos (88.3%) was determined and there were 40 male embryos (48.2%) and 43 female embryos (51.8%). Sex of 31 embryos was determined using both SRY and amelogenin. Among those, 17 embryos were determined as having identical sex, while 1 embryo was determined as having different sex, and the sex of 11 and 2 embryos were determined only by amelogenin or SRY primers, respectively. In conclusion, the success of determining the sex of embryos by PCR was relatively high. Using amelogenin primer for PCR tends to be more efficient than SRY primer in determining the sex. Slightly higher ratio of female embryos was different from previous years and the cause for the difference may require further investigation.

Euzophera batangensis (Lepidotera: Pyralidae) is seriously damaging trunks or branches of persimmon tree (Diospyros sp.). We tested the attractiveness of (Z)-9-tetradecen-1-ol (Z9-14OH) and (Z9,E12)-tetradeca- 9,12-dien-1-ol (Z9,E12-14OH) with single or blended baits at southern parts of Korea in 2014 and 2015. The monoene was not attractive at all at three places during the two years. In 2014, diene was equally or more attractive than the mixture in Jinju and Suncheon, respectively. In 2015 too, the attractiveness of diene and mixture was not different in Jinju and Munsan. Monitoring of the seasonal occurrence of E. batangesis with the sex pheromone components revealed that it occurred three times a year; the first occurrence from early April to mid May, the second from early Jun to mid July, and the third from late August to late September.

미국에서 동성애 및 동성혼과 관련된 논쟁은 오래전부터 시작되었다. 미국의 일부 주법은 동성애행위자체를 법으로 금지하는 경우도 있었기 때문에, 동성애자들의 권리투쟁은 그에서부터 시작되었다. 그리고 그들은 동성혼 역시 이성혼과 법적으로 동등하게 취급되어야 하며, 동성혼을 법 적으로 인정받기 위한 권리투쟁을 계속해왔다. 그리고 2015년, 마침내 미국의 연방대법원은 5대 4로 동성혼 역시 수정헌법 제14조의 적법절차 조항과 평등보호조항에 의하여 보호되어야 함을 선언함으로써, 미국 전 역에서 동성혼을 합법화하였다. 한국은 아직 미국처럼 동성애 및 동성혼을 둘러싼 논란이 가열되지는 않은 단계이다. 그러나 지난 2013년, 광화문에서 한 동성커플의 공개적인 결혼식 및 혼인신고 이후로 이에 대한 주목은 예전보다 높아져가고 있다. 한국에서 동성애 및 동성혼을 둘러싼 사회적 논의는 아직도 미미하지만, 성적소수자로 분류되는 이들의 권리 또한 보호받아야 하기에 과연 그 범 위를 어디까지 인정할 것인지에 대한 법적 논의는 분명 필요하다. 이 논문은 미국에서의 동성애 및 동성혼 관련 판결분석에 주된 초점을 맞추었다. 연방대법원의 판결문 내용을 검토하여 판결의 점진적인 변화 를 살펴보고, 또한 그러한 변화를 이끌어 낸 원인은 무엇인지, 이전 판례 와의 차이는 무엇인지 등을 분석해본다. 그리고 이를 통해 한국에서 동 성혼을 제도화하는 데 있어 고려가 되어야 할 헌법조항들은 어떤 것이 있으며, 어떤 단계들이 필요한지 간략하게 논한다. 미국의 연방대법원 판 결분석은 그 자체로 우리에게 충분한 시사점을 제공해줄 것이

Consumers nowadays are looking for luxury brands that are able to fulfil their values. Luxury fashion marketers have spent enormously on advertising and adopted sex appeal extensively as their major selling technique. Little empirical evidence, however, has been presented with regards to the effectiveness of using sex appeal in luxury fashion advertising. Consumer responses to sex appeal in luxury brand advertisements are also poorly understood and under-investigated. The massive use of sex appeal in luxury brand advertising suggests the strong need for empirical research to determine the relationship between sex appeal and perceived luxury values. Based on the luxury value framework and adopting a quasi-experimental design, this study examines the influence of sex appeal in advertising on the relationships between attitude towards the advertisement and luxury value perceptions. Results show that the increase of sex appeal level increases the favourability of the advertisement which results in significant changes in luxury value perceptions. The influence of gender is found to be prominent in this study, which highlights the importance of gender consideration when adopting sex appeal strategy for any luxury brand advertising. Implications for luxury brand marketers and advertisers are discussed.

The Red-spotted Apollo Butterfly (Parnassius bremeri ) is member of Snow Apollo Butterfly in Genus Parnassius which has been designated as the most endangered insect around the world and recorded in IUCN Red List of Threatened Animals and Appendix II in CITES. The lack of distributional information of Parnassius bremeri is one of the main problems when trying to assess the threats to and planning conservation strategies for this endangered species. The pheromone method made it easier to detect local populations of the species, not to disturb the habitat and can be used by providing a useful tool for conservation research. Sampling by breeding captivity in Holoce Ecosystem Conservation Research Institution (HECRI) was used. Each of 3 individuals male, mated and unmated female, end of the abdomen tissue and abdominal tissue containing the sphragis were cut. The pheromone was extracted as method presented by Hernández-Roldán et al. (2014). Among pheromone fatty alcohol to the (Z, Z, Z) -9,12,15-octadecatrien-1-ol and Eicosane classified as hydrocarbon of unmated female was detected higher rate than mated female. Two pheromone can be helpful to attract males in potential population.

Two Grapholita congener, G. molesta and G. dimorpha have difference in several biological characters such as flight time, emerging number/year, damage site, pupation site, and mating time although their host plants were similar. As a problem, cross-trapping was identified in each trap for monitoring. Effects on species-specific lure using minor sex pheromone components were observed in host plant orchards (apple, pear, peach, and plum) for continuative two years. Treatments of various ratios (0 to 10%) of Z8-12OH to G. molesta lure (Z8-12Ac/E8-12Ac = 95:5) allowed to increase the attraction of G. molesta, but not of G. dimorpha male. Other two minor components (14Ac and 12Ac) to G. dimorpha lure (Z8-12Ac/E8-12Ac = 85:15) were not showed species-specific responses. However, 10% treatment of Z8-14Ac to G. dimorpha lure was showed that G. molesta was decreased significantly although G. dimoprha was not affected. E8-14Ac treatment to new G. dimorpha lure (Z8-12Ac/E8-12Ac/Z8-14Ac = 85:15:10) not affected to attraction of two species. From these results, we suggest that optimum ratios for species-specific monitoring of G. molesta and G. dimorpha are Z8-12Ac/E8-12Ac/Z8-12OH = 95:55:5 and Z8-12Ac/E8-12Ac/Z8-14Ac = 85:15:10, respectively.

Behavioral responses to the sex pheromone blends rely on genetically designed hardwired olfactory pathways, including precise detection of the specific pheromone compounds and sophisticated signal processes in the brain to interpret correct pheromone mixture information. Owing to minimized association of individual variation and acquired traits from learning in sex pheromone communication, behavioral assays can be very useful tool for understanding each step in the olfactory system. To investigate interactions between peripheral and central pathways in shaping olfactory perception, we used antennal imaginal disc transplants between phylogenetically close two heliothine moth species Heliothis virescens and Heliothis subflexa. In behavioral tests, the response patterns of the male transplants were distinct from any of normal males of either species. Neurophysiological analyses of olfactory receptor neurons in the antenna and projection neurons in the brain also supported the behavioral dissimilarities between the transplants and normal animals. Results will be discussed in light of the functional roles and developmental significances of peripheral and central olfactory pathways in pheromone communication system.
