        This study carried out to identify effect of horticultural therapy programs (HTP) on the changes of depression and self-esteem in released-convicts. HTP were conducted once a week total 4 times (each time 60 minutes) from 7 November to 28, 2016 on 13 released-convicts coming Korea rehabilitation agency Gwangju Jeonnam branch. Measurement methods were used scale of depression, scale of self-esteem, Form for evaluation of HTP. As a result, the mean value of depression was decreased to 11.2 after HTP compared with 17.4 before HTP and there was statistically significant difference (p=.013). And HTP in grade of self esteem was increased to 16.1 after HTP compared with 12.1 before HTP and there was statistically significant difference (p=.001). The result of this study indicated that the horticultural therapy programs has positive effects on depression and self-esteem in released-convicts.

        본 연구의 목적은 교사의 소명의식과 삶의 만족간의 간계에서 자아존중감과 직업적 정체감 의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울 및 경남지역 교사 346명을 대상으로 소명의 식척도, 자아존중감척도, 직업적 정체감척도와 삶의 만족척도를 실시하여 그 결과를 분석하였 다. 소명의식, 자아존중감, 직업적 정체감, 삶의 만족도의 관계는 상관분석을 통해 검토하였고, 소명의식과 삶의 만족 관계에서 자아존중감과 직업적 정체감의 매개효과를 구조방정식 모형검 증을 통해 확인하였다. 본 연구결과 소명의식과 자아존중감, 직업적 정체성, 삶의 만족은 모두 유의한 정적 상관이 있었다. 그리고 자아존중감은 직업적 정체성과 삶의 만족, 직업적 정체성 은 삶의 만족과 정적 상관이 있었다. 둘째, 교사의 소명의식이 자아존중감, 직업적 정체감, 삶 의 만족에 이르는 경로, 자아존중감이 직업적 정체감, 삶의 만족도에 이르는 경로는 유의한 것 으로 나타났다. 셋째, 교사의 소명의식과 삶의 만족 사이에서 자아존중감과 직업적 정체감의 매개효과는 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 시사점과 한계점을 논의하였다.

        The purposes of this study were to examine the factors of psychological maladjustment experienced by adolescents for educational welfare, and to analyze the effects of a self-growth group counseling program applied to horticultural activities, which have been considered effective social alternatives, on adolescents’ self-esteem, ego-resilience, and stress change. For these purposes, the program was executed for 8 th -grade students at Y Middle School through 10 sessions, once a week, and 100 minutes per session during the period from 5 September to 14 November in 2014. As to difference between before and after the program, when the horticultural activity program based on self-growth group counseling was applied, the control group included many negative ranks in self-esteem before and after, and thus there wasn’t significant change, but all the subjects in the experimental group showed highly significant improvement (P=0.005). As to changes in ego-resilience, both the control group and the experimental group included many positive ranks and the changes were significant, but the significance was somewhat higher in the experimental group than in the control group (P=0.007). A decrease in stress is indicated by a large number of negative ranks. The control group had many positive ranks, and thus the change was not significant. In the experimental group, all the subjects had a negative rank and therefore the change was highly significant (P=0.005). If such a horticultural activity program is applied to adolescents through a longer period, it is believed to bring a positive change in them.

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the differences in self-encouragement, self-discouragement, self-esteem, self-management, psychological well-being in a characteristics of athletes with disabilities and to examine the relationships of those variables among them. Methods: A total of 324 athletes with physical disabilities (male=208, female=115) completed self-encouragement and discouragement, self-esteem, self-management, psychological well-being measure. Results: Participants who have an affiliation, full-time, salary, athlete’s career, and motivation had positively higher on self-encouragement, self-esteem, self-management, psychological well-being. However, self-discouragement and negative self-esteem were higher affiliation, low career, and motivation by others. Self-encouragement had positively influence the self-esteem, self-management, psychological well-being, whereas self-discouragement had negatively affect on the self-esteem, self-management. Moreover, the self-encouragement showed a positive indirect effect on the psychological well-being and self-discouragement appeared a negative indirect effect on the psychological well-being. Conclusion: It is required to necessity a positive self-encouragement of the disabled athletes because self-awareness and beliefs affects their behavior of individuals.

        This study was conducted to investigate of horticultural activity programs (HAPS) on self-esteem and school life adaption of juvenile. As one group pre-post designed trial, ten participants (5 males, 5 females) were recruited to participate in 16 HAPS within 4 months. The programs were performed 1 time per week from September 3 to December 17. The HAPS were composed of making vegetable garden, making herb candle, planting a floricultural crops, and pressed flower. The self-esteem and school life adaption were evaluated to examine the effects of HAPS between before and after. In the self-esteem, mean value of juvenile showed high score 52.10 after HAPS compared to 42.60 before. And, self-esteem of all subjects were significantly improved regardless of juvenile. In school life adaption, mean value of juvenile was higer score of 71.00 after HAPS than that of 46.60 before HAPS. And, school life adaption of all subjects were significantly improved regardless of students.

        Purpose – Research shows that increased workload and psychological pressure produces tensions in organizations. Such tensions can increase employee aggressive workplace behavior. This study attempted to discover the relationship among verbal aggression, job involvement, and turnover intention. Research design, data, and methodology – A survey of administrative workers in colleges was done between May 20 and May 26, 2015. Result – The findings were as follows. First, verbal aggression directly increased employee turnover intention. Second, stress recognition also created turnover intention among employees, which was detected in the interviews conducted after the survey. Third, both the survey and the interviews showed that stress recognition did not have a significant effect on job involvement. Fourth, both the findings and the interviews after the survey showed that stress increased turnover intention. Last, the finding on the role of self-esteem showed that self-esteem had a positive moderating effect on the relationship between the influence of verbal aggression and stress recognition. Conclusion – Having strong talent at work should lower turnover intention and turnover rates and develop the organization continuously.

        본 연구는 회상요법을 적용한 원예치료 프로그램이 시설거주에 거주하는 치매노인의 자아존중감과 삶의 질에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보기 위해 실시되었다. 연구에 참여한 총 대상자는 21명이었으며 프로그램 사전과 사후로 측정하였다. 삶의 질의 변화는 원예치료 실시 전 평균 24.6점에서 실시 후 평균 29.8점으로 유의하게 향상되었다. 자아존중감의 변화도 원예치료 실시 전 평균 22.7점에서 실시 후 평균 31.0점으로 유의하게 향상되는 것을 볼 수 있었다. 원예활동평가도 참여성, 관심과 조력성, 언어소통능력, 대인관계능력, 인지 및 문제 해결능력, 운동 지각 능력, 자아개념 및 주체성, 욕구 충동 능력, 숙련도와 작업 적응력 등 9개 영역에서 통계적으로 유의한 향상을 보였다. 이상과 같이 회상요법을 적용한 프로그램으로 치매노인들이 쉽게 작업할 수 있는 실내 활동을 실시한 결과 치매노인의 자아존중감과 삶의 질의 향상에 효과가 있었다고 판단된다.
