        한·미 FTA가 발효되면서 미국산 사과가 중장기적으로 국내시장을 잠식할 것이 예측되지만, 역발상으로 한국산 사과의대미 수출을 증대시키면 수출시장의 다변화 측면에서 매우 긍정적인 효과를 가질 것이다. 본 연구에서는 미국 사과수출 전략 수립을 위한 기초자료를 제공하기 위해 미국 거주 한인들을 대상으로 소비자조사를 통한 한국산 사과 속성에 대한 선호도를 분석하였으며, 분석방법은 중요도-만족도 분석과 로짓 모형을 이용하였다. 분석결과 및 함의는 다음과 같이 요약된다. 먼저 미국 사과 수출을 위해 집중적으로 관리가 필요한 요인은 가격이다. 재미 한인들은 가격에 대해 중요도는 매우 높은데 비해 한국산의 만족도는 매우 낮게 평가하고 있다. 또한 가격의 중요도와 민족도의 차이는 한국산 사과 소비의향에 영향을 미치며, 중요도와 만족도의 차이가 클수록 한국산 사과를 구입할 확률은 감소하는 것으로 분석되었다. 그러므로 한국산 수출사과의 가격인하는 수출신장을 위해 매우 중요한 조건이다. 그렇다면 국내 사과시장의 가격이 상대적으로 높게 형성되는데 어떻게 수출가격을 인하할 수 있는가의 문제에 직면한다. 이 문제는 적합한 수출시기 선택에 의해서 부분적으로 해결할 수 있을 것이다. 예를 들어 추석에 사과소비가 많기 때문에 일반적으로 추석직후는 사과가격이 하락한다. 이 시기에 수출사과를 매입할 경우 수출가격은 인하하며, 국내 시장가격의 지지효과를 얻을 수 있을 것이다. 둘째, 당도, 씹는 느낌, 안전성 등의 내적 요인과, 빛깔은 지속적으로 잘 유지할 필요가 있다. 또한 당도, 씹는 느낌, 안전성 등의 내적 요인에 대한 중요도와 만족도의 차이는 한국산 사과 소비의향에 영향을 미치며, 중요도와 만족도의 차이가 클수록 한국산 사과의 구입할 확률은 감소하는 것으로 분석되었다. 그러므로 미국산 사과와 경쟁하기 위해서는 고품질 사과를 엄선하여 수출해야 한다. 이를 위해 무엇보다 중요한 것은 엄격한 품질관리를 위한 수출조직이 필요하다. 이와 같은 수출조직의 육성을 위해서는 중앙정부 및 지방자치단체의 수출보조금을 이 조직을 통해서 지불하는 방안을 들 수 있다. 또는 수출사과의 자조금제를 신설하여 이 조직이 운영하는 방안 등을 들 수 있다. 셋째, 표면, 브랜드, 포장은 중요도와 만족도가 모두 낮기 때문에 우선순위를 낮추어도 좋으며, 크기와 모양은 중요도는 낮은데 비해 만족도가 높아 불필요한 과잉 관리를 개선할 필요가 있다. 또한 표면, 브랜드, 포장, 크기, 모양은 중요도와 만족도의 차이가 한국산 사과 구입의향에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 분석되었다. 마지막으로 소비자의 사회경제적 특성변수 중에서 연령과 가구소득에 대한 추정계수가 양(+)으로 통계적 유의성을 가지는 것으로 분석되었다. 한국산 배가 미국의 동양식품점에서 거래되는 점을 감안할 때 소매단계의 유통기관으로는 동양식품점이 적합하다. 또한 소비대상은 한국산 사과에 대해 거부감이 적고 신뢰도와 충성도가 높은 한인들이 적합하며, 목표 소비자는 재미 한인 중에서 장년층과 고소득층으로 설정하는 것이 효과적일 것이다.

        The purpose of this study was to analyze the general characteristics of coffee house consumers as well as the importance and satisfaction of selection attributes of specialty coffee houses according to length of coffee education period. Applicants in the Gwangju and Jeonnam area who had finished their Barista 2 grade certificate examination participated in a survey on March 12, 2011. Further, university students living in Gwangju participated as subjects who had never experienced coffee education from March 15 to March 31, 2011. Two-hundred and one subjects participated in the survey, and 184 questionnaires were used for analysis. Regardless of coffee education experience, quality of coffee was important, but higher educated subjects showed the lowest satisfaction of coffee from a coffee house (p<0.01) in terms of attributes such as freshness of coffee beans (p<0.01) and overall taste (p<0.01). Further, subjects who received no or little education demonstrated high correlation between importance/satisfaction of 'brand' and 'employee' compared to subjects who studied more than 2 semesters. These results provide future coffee house entrepreneurs and baristas with market information and marketing strategies for understanding customers' coffee house selection attributes.

        The purpose of this study was to analyze the difference in bakery choice attributes according to consumers' general characteristics and purchasing behavior. Among 350 questionnaires distributed to bakery consumers, 277 complete questionnaires (79.1%) were analyzed. Bakery choice attributes were classified into five factors: "environment and image", "bakery product features", "location", "employee service", and "price and sales promotion"; the mean scores of these factors' importance levels were 3.59, 3.58, 3.49, 3.36, and 3.00, respectively. Males considered 'employee service' factor significantly more than did females. Further, the importance level of 'employee service' factor was significantly greater as consumer's age increased. The importance levels of 'bakery product features' and 'employee service' factors were considered significantly more by consumers who spent KRW10,000-15,000 than those who spent KRW5,000 or less. 'Price and sales promotion' was considered to be more important by consumers who obtained information from the Internet than from the TV and radio. 'Location' factor was considered to be more significant as purchasing frequency increased. Such differences in importance level of bakery choice attributes according to consumers' gender, age, job, and purchasing behavior should be considered and applied to the development of marketing strategies targeted at consumers.

        경상북도, 성주 지역에서 2009년 6월에서 8월 사이 매달 참외를 수확하여 수확시기의 기상환경이 참외의 수용성 비타민 함량 및 품질에 미치는 영향을 평가하고자 하였다. 과실 품질평가를 조사하기 위하여 무게, 경도 그리고 당도 등의 특성을 조사하였고 수용성 비타민인 엽산과 비타민 C의 함량을 측정하였다. 수확시기에 따른 과실특성을 조사한 결과 강우량이 적고 일사량이 많은 6월에 수확한 과실이 무게, 경도 및 당도가 가장 높게 나타났고, 강우량이 많은 7월에 급격히 감소하는 경향을 보여주었다. 8월에 일사량이 증가하고 강우량이 감소하면서 다시 증가하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 참외의 대표적인 비타민인 엽산과 비타민 C의 함량을 측정한 결과, 6월에 수확한 참외에서 가장 높은 함량을 보여주었고, 7월에 현저히 감소하였다. 과실의 특성 조사 결과와 마찬가지로 엽산과 비타민 C의 함량은 강우량이 감소하는 8월에 다시 증가하는 경향을 보여주었다. 부위별로 분석해 본 결과 태좌 부위에 다량의 엽산과 비타민 C가 함유되어 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이상의 연구결과는 강우량 증가에 의한 수분장애 및 일사량 부족은 참외 과실의 품질뿐만 아니라 수용성 비타민 함량에도 영향을 미치고 있고, 특히 엽산 함량을 크게 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다.

        Consumers are highly interested in processed fishery products that are healthy and superior in terms of convenience, nourishment, and taste. However, current domestic research on processed fishery products is marginal. We systematically analyzed consumer consumption patterns and the relationship to pursuit benefits, selection attributes, satisfaction levels, and reasons for purchase. Consumers considered product information the most important selection attribute, whereas convenience scored highest for pursuit benefits. Furthermore, the influences of selection attributes and pursuit benefits on satisfaction level and the reason for purchasing an item were analyzed using demographic properties as control variables. The variables that affected satisfaction level were residential district (region: B= -0.268, p<0.05.), recipe (B=0.098, p<0.05), nutrients (B=0.124, p<0.05), convenience (B=0.283, p<0.001), and economics (B=0.138, p<0.05). The variables affecting the reason for purchasing were nutrients (B=0.173, p<0.001), convenience (B=0.277, p<0.001) and satisfaction level (B=0.163, p<0.001). Pursuit intention had significant effects on purchase intention; however, selection attributes had no significant effect on purchase intention. Therefore, consumer satisfaction had a significant effect on purchase intention. This result showed that if consumers were satisfied, they intended to repurchase. Attempts to increase repurchases by consumer are needed by fulfilling consumer satisfaction. These data can be utilized as a fundamental reference for sales promotions.

        This study focused on examining methods for the favorable relationship between internet shopping mall and customers from a point of view that it was necessary for internet fashion market getting faced with keen competition to change its marketing focus from securing new customers to customer retention strategies. Measurement instruments were selected to measure these variables and a questionnaire was made. Data was collected in 491 men and women in their twenties residing in Gwangju city using the questionnaire. The analysis results were summarized as follows: First, in the failure to purchase fashion products in internet shopping mall, as consumer's favorable internet shopping attributes, their possibility of complaining and repurchase intentions became higher, and had negative effect on regret and dissatisfaction. Second, attributions of the result of a failure to purchase fashion products in internet shopping mall were found to increase regret and dissatisfaction. Third, customers experiencing regret and dissatisfaction showed a very high possibility of complaining but their possibility of repurchase intentions had negative affect.

        본 논문에서는 "악기"의 성유애락론과 이를 비판적으로 논의한 혜강의 성무애락론, 조선시대의 "악학궤범"과 천기론을 주장한 일련의 학자들의 이론을 통해서 한국인 혹은 동양인의 사고에 전통적으로 내재되어 있는 소리와 감성의 속성 및 그 유형에 대해 살펴보았다. "기"를 통해서는 애심, 락심, 희심, 노심, 경심, 애심(哀心, 樂心, 喜心, 怒心, 敬心, 愛心)의 여섯 가지 감성과 관련된 각각의 소리에 대해 고찰하였다. 소리는 객관적 외물일 뿐이지 마음의 형이 아니라고 주장한 혜강의 논의를 통해서는 그가 맹정(猛靜), 단복(單複), 서질(舒疾), 고비, 선악(善惡)으로 규정한 소리의 속성이 크기(loudness), 세밀성(sharpness), 피치(pitch), 거칠기(roughness), 요동강도(fluctuation strength), 쾌적감(pleasantness) 등과 대응되고 있음을 살펴보았다. "악학궤범"을 통해서는 당시 조선 유학자들의 소리와 감성에 대한 사고가 "악기"를 기본으로 한 유가적 악론과 음률에 바탕을 두고 있음을 확인하고, 천기론을 통해서는 천기를 통해 발현된 소리와 감성의 관계에 대해 살펴보았다. 동양인의 의식에 내재된 소리와 감성의 관계에 대한 분석은 한국인 혹은 동양인의 감성에 기반한 소리 유형 분석의 기초가 됨으로써 여러 분야에서 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the brand awareness, attributes and purchase behaviors for luxury products in the age of mcluxury. In-depth interviews were conducted to 18 consumers(10 singles, 8 married) in the age range of 20~49 and having purchased luxury products twice in last 1 year. The interviews were directed by a trained mediator according to the interview guidelines and recorded. Interviewees were asked to talk freely and protocols were made for data analysis. Similarities were found regarding the salient attributes, brand awareness of luxury products as known in general; however, the perceived importance of each attribute of luxury products seemed to be changed as mcLuxury has continued. Moreover, the consumers' attitudes toward the luxury products consumption tended to become favorable than before, and the motives to buy luxury products were more valueoriented and self fulfillment rather than display one's wealth. The buying behaviors of luxury products vary among different age groups. However, most of them tended to purchase luxury products at duty-free shops and premium outlets while traveling abroad, or bought them on sale at domestic department stores.

        The purpose of this study is to explore the applicability of QFD to product development of clothes by empirically applying it to development of a specific clothes, middle and elderly women’s formal knitwear. The voices of customers(VOCs) for formal knitwear was collected through in-depth interviews with 25 customers, shop masters, and designers. Also, questionnaires of which respondents were 230 customers were used to rank the importance of the items of VOC. A QFD team of 10 knitwear experts implemented the task of translating VOCs into design attributes and measuring the values of the relationships between VOCs and design attributes. Importance ranking of the items of design attributes was obtained based on Lyman’s method. The results of this study were as follows. First, the customer requirements for formal knitwear were classified into five dimensions, that is, symbolism, aesthetic, fitness, usefulness, and maintenance. Second, the descending order of the necessity of improving the quality was maintenance, aesthetic, fitness, usefulness, and symbolism. Third, three-staged design attributes were obtained as a result of translating of VOCs into design attributes. Lastly, the descending order of the importance of design attributes was “sorts of yarn”, “sorts of color jacquard”, “color”, “tone”, “ease”, etc.

        The principal objective of this study was to categorize service attributes on the basis of the asymmetric and non-linear relationship existing between service attributes and customer satisfaction. Researchers generally assume that service attribute performances and customer satisfaction are both symmetrical and linear. That is to say, improvements in attribute performance will inevitably result in increased customer satisfaction. However, this is not always the case. Certain attributes have been shown not to create satisfaction even when improved, and others do not create dissatisfaction even when their performance ratings become negative. Understanding this relationship is crucial not only to researchers, but also to service managers. Service managers can arrange their priorities with regard to which attributes must be improved or promoted first, in an environment of limited technical, financial, and human resources. Many studies into this asymmetric and non-linear relationship have recently been conducted, beginning with Herzberg's motivation-hygiene theory (1976) and the disconfirmation theory, which was eventually developed into Kano's model (1984). This study attempted to determine the impact level of service attributes on incidents of satisfaction or dissatisfaction. It used 30 service attributes generated by Park (2008) in the CIT research into family restaurants. The data were collected from 600 participants, 300 incidences of satisfaction and 300 incidents of dissatisfaction, via an online survey. The t-test was used to confirm the difference between the satisfaction group's and dissatisfaction group's attributes. 11 attributes were found to be significant at a level of p>0.05. This indicates that the 11 attributes exerted different impacts on satisfaction and dissatisfaction, which confirmed the asymmetric and non-linear relationship. 14 attributes were categorized into the core service, 1 attribute into the quality service, 7 attributes into the basic service, and 8 attributes into the neutral service. Strategic customer service management was recommended for the 'A' family restaurant as an example, on the basis of the asymmetric and non-linear relationship and the characteristics of the four service factors.

        The objectives of this study were to: a) examine foreign customers’ satisfaction and expectations for the food and service attributes of Korean restaurants located in the U.S., b) measure the gap between the satisfaction and expectations for food and service attributes, c) analyze through IPA analysis the crucial attributes needing improvement in order to minimize the discrepancy between customers’ expectations and performance, and d) analyze the effects of factors related to the food and service attributes on overall customer satisfaction in regard to Korean restaurant selection. A total of 255 American customers who had visited four Korean restaurants located within metropolitan and rural areas of the U.S. were surveyed for this study. Statistical analyses, including t-tests, factor analysis, and multiple regression, were performed using the SPSS statistical package (12.0). The American customers’ overall satisfaction of the food and services offered by the Korean restaurants was relatively high, with the exception of tangible service attributes such as comfortable chairs, restroom cleanliness, and restaurant interior. The urban foreign customers, however, were dissatisfied with the use of healthful ingredients in Korean food, because their expectation level toward this aspect exceeded their satisfaction level. In terms of Korean restaurant selection, tangible services related to the restaurant facilities were identified as the critical factor having an effect on American customer satisfaction.

        The purposes of this study were to analyze importance and performance for coffee quality attributes based on customers according to their consumption types; and provided ideas and marketing strategies to increase sales through IPAs (Importance-Performance Analysis). University students in Incheon were conducted a survey from March 13, 2007 to March 31, 2007. As for a quality attribute with the highest importance, the survey showed 'price' was important for 「vending machine coffee」, and 'taste' was important for 「commercial coffee」, and 「coffee house coffee」. And 'thirst relief' was found to have the lowest importance for three types of coffee. As for a quality attributes with the highest performance, the survey showed 'taste' was important for 「coffee house coffee」 'price' was important for 「vending machine coffee」; and 'period of circulation' was important for 「commercial coffee」. IPA results for coffee quality attributes also showed quality attributes that should be improved quickly for each type of coffee: 'hygiene', 'safety', 'period of circulation', and 'package' were for 「vending machine coffee」; 'price' and 'freshness' were for 「commercial coffee」; and 'price' and 'period of circulation' were for 「coffee house coffee」.

        This study was carried out to investigate the effect of market weight on the sensory attributes of Korean native black pork. The M. longissimus from Korean native black pigs (KNP) with market weight of 56 kg and 70 kg were utilized as experimental materials. The intramuscular fat content, a* (redness) and b* yellowness) values were higher in KNP with market weight of 70 kg than in KNP with market weight of 56 kg (p<0.05). In TPA, hardness, adhesiveness, guminess and chewiness were lower in KNP with market weight of 70 kg than in KNP with market weight of 56 kg (p<0.05). The marbling score, meat color and overall liking among sensory evaluation of raw pork and taste, texture and overall liking among sensory evaluation of cooked pork were higher in KNP with market weight of 70 kg than in KNP with market weight of 56 kg (p<0.05). Therefore, higher market weight of KNP increased the sensory attributes of pork.

        This study will provide a useful information and suggestions regarding new wine drinkers wine selection attributes and preference on wine producing countries to wine distributors, wine producers and marketers in Korea. New wine drinkers showed high preference on sweet wine, rich aroma wine, matured wine and white wine respectively. Regarding wine producing countries, Germany, France and Chile were rated among the top preferred countries by new wine drinkers. Results showed that the reasons for disliking wines were not being used to it as the top reason followed by wine being expensive and wine not being tastes good.
