        In this study, in order to establish a strategy for developing an fire following earthquake risk assessment method that can utilize domestic public databases(building datas, etc.), the method of calculating the ignition and fire-spread among the fire following earthquake risk assessment methodologies proposed by past researchers is investigated After investigating and analyzing the methodology used in the HAZUS-MH earthquake model in the United States and the fire following earthquake risk assessment methodology in Japan, based on this, a database such as a domestic building data utilized to an fire following earthquake risk assessment method suitable for domestic circumstances (planned) was suggested.

        This study is to investigate the improvement of quality and cost reduction of welding materials for combat vehicles through localization. The existing imported welding wires and localized welding wires were evaluated. The evaluation of the welding wires was performed for the feedability, chemical/mechanical properties, macro testing, and weldability. As a result of evaluation, the localized welding material met all the evaluation standard values. In addition, it showed excellent performance in terms of weldability and feedability. It is judged that the welding quality is improved thanks to the improvement of feeding characteristics through the localization of the welding material, and the fatigue of the worker is also expected to be relieved.

        Unlike wheeled vehicles, tracked armored vehicles require a highly developed transmission technology since the transmission has to not only shift gears but also steer and brake the heavy ground weapon system precisely. Even though weapons systems including the K00 Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) have recently been developed with domestic technology, it is true that many core parts in the systems are still being imported. In this paper localization process of the accumulator which is one of the most important hydraulic parts in the K00 transmission is introduced. In order to determine design variables such as operating pressure we analyzed torque characteristics of the transmission and calculated spring constant by disassembling the original accumulator. And tests such as durability, safety, etc. were conducted to assure the validation of the development. We expect that the process of reverse engineering we adopted will be helpful to localize similar hydraulic parts.

        현재 국내 댐‧저수지는 노후도가 높은 수준으로 노후 필댐에 대한 철저한 유지관리가 필요하다. 해외에서는 전자기장 탐사 등 선진기술을 활용하여 댐체 누수탐사를 수행중이나, 국내의 경우 비용절감 및 실무 적용성 향상을 위해 민관공동 투자기술개발을 통해 국산화 기술개발을 완료하였다. 개발기술의 Test-bed 적용 결과 합리적 수준의 오차 범위내 비교적 정확한 누수경로 추정이 가능하였으며, 금년도 신뢰성 검증을 위한 추가 실증시험에서 시추조사 결과 및 동일조건의 전기 비저항탐사와 비교‧검증 결과도 비교적 일치하는 것으로 조사되었다. 향후 본 탐사법에 대한 추가적인 실적 확보 및 이론 검증 등을 통해 노후 필댐에 대한 물리탐사 기술을 지속적으로 향상시킬 계획이다.

        Polluting gases emitted from industrial sites take compound forms consisting of gaseous and particulate phases. Localization of PTFE membrane filters has thus been initiated to remove particulate materials and mercury, which is a heavy and hazardous metallic element. More specifically, a PTFE membrane filter was fabricated by thermal laminating technology to vary porosity on the filter surface for removal of particulate materials thereon. Optimized equi-biaxial stretching ratio control enables minimization of large-size pore formation with an average pore size of 0.58 μm and improved air permeability of 8.03 cm3/cm2/sec. Various adsorbents were tested for removal of mercury vapor by surface treatment of the PTFE membrane filter. The filter’s surface was further altered using functional amine group compounds: one composed of silane coupling agent (APTMS) was found suitable as a mercury adsorbent. When ACF with a large surface area was used as support material, mercury removal efficiency increased threefold to 0.162 mg/g-ACF. Furthermore, the developed PTFE membrane filter was tested in its capacity of differential pressure and filtering efficiency using a pilot scale particulate removal unit. Stable and consistent differential pressure was maintained during long-term operation and less frequent periods of filter shutdown due to pores filling with 99.96% of particulate removal efficiency, which was more than satisfactory filtration efficiency.
