This study aims to propose an improvement of fire safety management plans for buildings, such as apartment complexes and schools, within a 10 km radius of industrial complexes. It utilizes an off-site consequence analysis program to reflect the toxic impact on national industrial complexes and surrounding areas. The ALOHA program was utilized to analyze the impact of toxicity due to a hydrogen chloride leak, a hazardous material. The results showed that the area with AEGL-2 and above ranged from 3.1 km to 10 km, the AEGL-3 area ranged from 1.9 km to 7.3 km. The ASET was measured to be between 3 and 24 minutes. Due to the impact of toxicity, it is necessary to prepare fire safety management plans for buildings, such as apartment complexes and schools that are within a 10 km radius from industrial complexes. These safety plans incorporate the hydrogen chloride risk assessment results, ASET, weather conditions, and coordination with the local community.

In this study, the mechanical behavior occurring in U-typed and V-typed seismic separation joint was analyzed according to the length of the bellows, the length of the elbow straight pipe, and the open angle. As a result, as the length of the bellows increased, the stress and natural frequency decreased. In addition, as the length of the elbow straight pipe increased, the stress tended to decrease in the case of forced displacement in the vertical direction. As the open angle increased, the stress in the case of forced displacement in the left and right directions increased.
In the case of the companies selected for noise measurement in this study, even though noise exposure in the workplace begins with noise management for large machines or high-output machines, they only manage to write reports on how much workers are exposed to noise for 8 hours a day. is focused on. When large machines are delivered, little information on noise received from the manufacturer is kept, and noise information indicated on design drawings is also difficult to find. History management of noise information of large machines is necessary. There is also a problem with the professionalism of managers who manage noise information. Like odors and fine dust, it is judged that noise needs to be managed by a professional manager at the workplace and managed through a database of noise information.
The purpose of this study is to identify psychological anxiety factors related to firefighters' field activities and suggest improvement measures. To investigate the actual status of psychological anxiety factors, a survey was conducted on approximately 3,500 current firefighters, and the responses of 505 people who participated in the survey were analyzed. As a research method, frequency analysis and cross-analysis were conducted according to the general characteristics of the participants to determine the actual level of psychological anxiety in each work field and the results were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, it was statistically confirmed that firefighters feel a lot of psychological burden due to legal and institutional inadequacies during dispatch, return, or field activities, and frequent friction with civil servants is also a major cause of psychological anxiety. Therefore, based on the results of this study, it is proposed to establish a permanent legal support team in each city and province, designate and operate a hospital dedicated to psychological treatment, and establish a special provision for traffic accidents during the return of fire trucks so that firefighters can concentrate on their duties without psychological anxiety. do.
This study aims to verify the impact of a metaverse-based safety education program on the fire safety awareness of elementary school students. Utilizing the National Fire Agency's 119 metaverse program, an educational program was implemented for two months, and the experimental group was examined using paired-sample t-tests, while comparisons with the control group were made using independent-sample t-tests. The results revealed statistically significant differences between the experimental and control groups in the area of fire prevention. Although no statistically significant differences were observed over time within each group, the overall average scores for the entire class improved across all areas. Based on these findings, the effectiveness of metaverse-based safety education is suggested; however, a significant difference compared to traditional education was not detected. The study concludes by exploring implications for considerations in the implementation of metaverse safety education in the future.
This study aims to understand the current status of exemptions for traffic accidents during the return of emergency vehicles and to provide suggestions for improvement. A survey was conducted on 3,500 firefighters to investigate the perception of traffic accidents during the return of emergency vehicles, and responses from 505 participants were analyzed. Based On the demographic characteristics and perception of the participants, frequency analysis and variance analysis were used as research methods to analyze basic statistics and the current situation. The results showed that firefighters have concerns and anxieties about traffic accidents during the return of emergency vehicles, and the need for applying exemptions and enacting explicit legal provisions was statistically confirmed. Based on these results, we suggest a policy for exemptions to improve the preparation for re-deployment and to alleviate the concerns and anxieties of firefighters.
본 연구는 Ajzen(1991)의 계획행위이론을 바탕으로 중년 소방관 및 교도관의 헌혈의사에 영향 을 미치는 요인을 규명하기 위한 서술적 연구이다. 연구대상은 G시, B군에 소재한 소방서 및 교도소의 중 년 소방관 및 교도관 223명이었다. 자료분석은 기술통계 및 t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, 다중회귀분석을 하였다. 연구결과 헌혈 경험, 1년 이내 헌혈 시도, 3개월 이내 헌 혈 참여 계획에 따라 헌혈의도에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 대상자의 헌혈의도는 헌혈에 대한 태도, 주관적 규범, 지각된 행위통제와 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었다. 헌혈의도에 대한 다중회귀분석 결 과 3개월 이내 헌혈 참여계획, 지각된 행위통제, 주관적 규범, 헌혈태도, 1년 이내 헌혈시도 순이었고, 설명 력은 69% 이었다. 이에 중년의 헌혈의도를 높이기 위해서는 태도, 주관적 규범, 지각된 행위통제를 개선할 수 있는 프로그램이 필요하다
본 연구의 목적은 간부의 코칭리더십과 실무자의 임파워먼트가 조직시민행동 에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하여 조직 발전의 기초자료를 제공하는 데 있 다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 전국 5개 시·도 소방공무원 중에서 실무자를 모집단으로 선정한 후 임의표본추출법을 이용, 2021년 8월 25일부터 10일간 온 라인으로 설문을 시행하여 최종 472부를 연구에 활용하였다. 분석 방법은 빈도 분석, 기술통계 분석, 구조방정식모형 분석을 사용하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 코칭리더십은 조직시민행동에 직접적인 영향 을 미치고 있고, 조직몰입을 매개로 간접적인 영향도 미치므로 부분매개효과를 가진다고 할 수 있다. 둘째, 임파워먼트는 조직시민행동에 직접적인 영향은 미 치지 않으나, 조직몰입을 매개로 간접적으로만 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나서 완전매개효과가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 결론적으로 소방 조직의 발전과 성장을 위해서는 간부의 코칭리더십과 실무 자의 임파워먼트가 필요하다. 따라서 조직 내에 전문 코치 배치 또는 양성, 소방 교육기관의 코칭리더십 교육과 코치양성 프로그램 개발 등을 제안한다.
In school safety education, it was difficult to apply how to link the safety education according to grades year, and student’s interest was reduced due to the repetition of existing safety education contents and the absence of new teaching methods and tools. In this study, as a new type of safety education, a performance forms fire safety education program was developed. This program aims to increase students’ interest and satisfaction in safety education, and to this end, it was connect with korean elementary science curriculum and combined various engineering teaching materials or tools and methods. Developed program was applied to 2,231 students, 25 schools in 10 regions of Gyeonggi-do and surveyed 476 fifth and sixth grade students program satisfaction and 3 factors of interest in fire safety education who could respond to the survey. As a result of applying the program, more than 90% of students responded more than 'satisfied' in all areas. and statistical test(independent t-test and non-parametric test) indicates over-all satisfaction and interest factors in the program are high regardless of gender and grade, so the effectiveness can be guessed indirectly and there is a universal applicability also. Moreover, examining the influence of student interest level in the satisfaction of the fire safety program, it was found that in order to increase the satisfaction of fire safety education, students should have more fun with the content and feel interest in the teacher's teaching method or explanation.
This study attempted to explore how the perception of the necessity of safety education for adolescents affects fire safety consciousness and whether personality factors control the relationship. To this end, a survey was conducted at a high school in region C, and data of 1,049 people who agreed to the survey and responded faithfully were used for analysis. Hayes’ macro was used to analyze the moderating effect, and as a result of the analysis, adolescents’ awareness of the need for safety education increased, and their relationship was significantly regulated by extroversion, openness, and conscientiousness among the five personality factors. A simple regression line analysis was conducted to find out the specific direction, and it was found that the higher the need for safety education in both the group with high extroversion, openness, and conscientiousness, the higher the awareness of safety education. These results suggest that changes in educational methods and contents are needed to raise awareness of the necessity of education in fire safety education and to improve educational motivation, and that it may be helpful to actively utilize students’ personality strengths in education.
본 연구는 도시숲을 활용한 회기형 산림치유 프로그램이 소방공무원의 직무스트레스, 외상후 스트레스 장애(PTSD), 우울감 등 정신건강에 미치는 효과와 프로그램에 대한 만족도를 알아보기 위해 수행되었다. 2018년 9월부터 11월까지 인천대공원에서 진행되는 산림치유 프로그램에 참여한 인천시 G 소방서 소방공무원 63명을 대상으로 하였고 주 1회 2시간씩 총 4회 8시간으로 대상자 특성, 산림치유 요법 및 산림치유 인자를 활용한 프로그램을 새롭게 구성하여 실행하였다. 연구 결과 소방공무원 대상 산림치유 프로그램은 직무스트레스, 외상후 스트레스, 우울감 완화에 긍정적인 영향을 주었으며, 만족도 분석 결과 대부분 항목에서 긍정적인 반응을 보였다. 따라서 산림치유 활동은 고위험 직업군인 소방공무원의 스트레스를 완화하고 심리적·정서적 문제를 예방 및 관리하는 정신건강 관리 중재 프로그램이 될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 추후 연구에서는 다양한 형태의 소방공무원을 대상으로 확대 시행하며, 소방공무원의 심리 특성과 요구를 반영한 다양하고 흥미로운 산림치유 프로그램 개발이 지속해서 이루어져야 할 것이다.
This study investigated changes in psychological stress levels of 60 firefighters after participation in an eight-week Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) program consisting of 16 sessions. The Korean versions of the Posttraumatic Diagnosis Scale (PDS-K), the Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale (K-CESD), and the Difficulties in Emotional Regulation Scale (K-DERS) were used for measurements. Participants were divided into two groups according to level of posttraumatic stress symptoms (PTSS): the PTSS risk group and the PTSS non-risk group. Results showed that PDS-K, K-CESD, and K-DERS scores were significantly reduced after the program in the PTSS risk group. Significant reduction was also found in all sub-scales of PDS-K: re-experiencing, avoidance/emotional numbing, and hyperarousal. Moreover, in the PTSS risk group, there were greater improvements with significant group x time interactions. These findings suggest that EAL is effective in relieving PTSD and PTSD-related symptoms of firefighters with subsyndromal or more severe levels of PTSD.
Korea has the highest suicide rate in the world, and firefighters have the highest suicide rate among the professional population. As a result of the study, post-traumatic stress disorder education is essential in all occupations. Post-traumatic stress disorder is the most common disease and the biggest obstacle for firefighters in Korea. Firefighters who have suffered physical and mental damage in many types of disaster sites due to their extreme occupations are rapidly increasing the suicide rate in recent years. In order to maximize the effect of job training, education on post-traumatic stress disorder from new employees to leadership training is urgently needed.
In this study, according to the staking method of the fire hose in the indoor hydrant system, the number of kinks when the fire hose is deployed was measured and analyzed to examine how the staking method of the fire hose affects the kink when the hose is deployed. The fire hose staking method was classified into three types: donut-type, accordion-type, and hose hanger-type, and the walking speed and number of kinks were measured by repeating the experiment 5 times for male and female students. The results of the study are as follows. (1) Among the three types of fire hose staking methods, the donut-type staking method had an average of 92 times for male students and 86 times for female students on average. (2) The accordion-type and hose hanger-type staking methods showed similar results with an average of one or two kinks for both male and female students. (3) Regardless of the staking method, it was found that in general, male students with high walking speed had more kinking than female students with slow walking speed.
This study is to check waterproof by number of twists of fire hose and measure the first waterproof time to analyze the relationship between twists of fire hose and first waterproof time and waterproof by position of twists so as to suggest the efficient plan to prevent twists of fire hose. Ordinary fire hose did not make waterproof in case that position of twists was near the nozzle with twists 5 times or more, while anti-twist fire hose had no problem for waterproof only with delayed time. Like ordinary fire hose, anti-twist fire hose also showed the tendency to increase the waterproof time in proportion to the number of twists. In case that the position of twists was near waterproof port even with 10 times of twists in anti-twist fire hose, the first waterproof time was increase by 0.63 seconds on average without any problem for waterproof, which was somewhat faster than that in ordinary fire hose. With respect to the position of twists, waterproof of anti-twist fire hose was affected more as the number of twists was increased more near the nozzle rather than near the waterproof port, like ordinary fire hose. In summary, anti-twist fire hose equipped with anti-twist tool at the middle connection port and the nozzle showed a good waterproof performance with delayed waterproof time regardless of number of twists, as a solution for the twist problem of ordinary fire hose.
The objective of this study was to understand which type of fire hose should be placed in indoor fireplug box upon analyzing the preparation time between rack-type fire hose and reel-type one. With respect to the type of hose, rack-type stacking method was used and hose preparation time was measured with 5 times of repeat test, separating men and women. Study results reveal that preparation time of reel-type fire hose took longer than that of rack-type one in both men and women. For both rack-type hose and reel-type hose, preparation time by two persons took shorter than that by one man. Also, preparation time by three persons took shorted than that by two women. Preparation time for both rack-type hose and reel-type one by men took shorter than that by women. In summary, it was confirmed that rack-type hose could be prepared within shorter time than reel-type one. Since the size of drum set in the reel-type fire hose is relatively small, it had some difficulty in preparation of fire hose timely.
In this study, the purpose of this study was to examine the effect of twisting in the preparation of waterproofing in the process of unfolded donut-type staking method fire hoses in indoor hydrant system. The central pull-out method caused more twisting than the rolling method, and there was no significant difference in the number of twists according to the pull-out method in the case of male and female students. It was found that the time it took to untwist and prepare waterproofing was much shorter for male students. The angle valve and hose are connected, and the time to untwist and prepare for waterproofing after withdrawing the fire hose with the hose and nozzle connected was shorter than the unconnected state. In the rolling method, when a hose connected with two 15 m fire hoses was used and the angle valve-hose was connected, but the hose-nozzle was not connected, the least kinking occurred. The time to untwist and prepare for waterproofing was also the shortest. As a result, in the withdrawal method of the donut-type loaded fire hose in the indoor hydrant system, it is a rolling method rather than a central withdrawal method. With the angle valve and hose connected, unfold the fire hose with the hose and nozzle connected, if a large number of people unwind the twisted hose, the time to prepare for waterproofing can be shortened.
