목적 : 안경광학과 학생들의 의사소통 역량과 안경사 윤리강령 인식 간의 상관성을 분석하여, 예비 안경사의 핵 심 직무 역량 강화를 위한 교육 프로그램 개발의 기초 자료로 활용하고자 한다. 방법 : 본 연구에서는 안경광학과 재학생 98명을 대상으로 일반적 특성과 교육 경험 및 필요도는 빈도와 백분율 로 분석하였고, 최근 1년간 봉사 경험과 윤리적 가치 의식은 카이제곱 검정(chi-squared test)을 통해 분석하였 다. 또한, 의사소통 역량과 안경사 윤리강령 간의 상관관계는 Pearson 상관분석을 이용하여 분석하였다. 결과 : 의사소통 교육 경험 여부에 대해 77.55%가 경험이 있다고 응답했으며, 직업윤리 교육 경험 여부는 86.73%가 있다고 응답하였다고 답했다. 또한, 의사소통 역량의 필요성에 대해 81.63%가 필요하다고 응답하였다. 직무 관련 최근 1년간 봉사활동 경험과 윤리적 가치 및 직업의식 간의 연관성을 분석한 결과, 봉사 경험과 '우리 사 회의 근면성을 설명할 수 있다'라는 문항 간에 유의한 상관성(χ2=27.91, p=0.032)이 나타났다. 안경사 윤리강령과 의사소통 역량 간의 상관 분석 결과, '안경사는 품위를 유지하고 봉사 정신을 발휘해야 한다'와 '원활한 의사 표현을 방해하는 요인을 설명할 수 있다' 문항 간에 가장 높은 상관성(r=0.71, p<0.001)을 보였다. 결론 : 본 연구에서, 예비 안경사의 의사소통 역량 강화와 정직성을 바탕으로 한 직업윤리 확립의 필요성이 확 인되었다. 봉사 경험과 윤리적 가치 의식, 그리고 의사소통 역량과 안경사 윤리강령 간에 유의한 상관관계는, 다양 한 계층을 대상으로 한 비교과 프로그램을 체계적으로 구축하고 효과적인 교육 시스템 마련의 필요성을 시사한다.

이 연구는 과학교육에서 강조하고 있는 민주시민교육이 학교 밖 교육기관인 과학관에서는 어떻게 구현되고 있 는지를 평가하고, 향후 과학관 전시 및 프로그램 개선 방향을 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 사전에 분석 틀을 바탕으로 전시 내용을 코딩하여 분석하는 지시적 내용분석을 적용하였으며, 분석 자료의 시각화를 위해 기술통계학을 활용한 혼합연구를 실시하였다. 연구대상은 국내의 해양과학관과 기상과학관 각 1곳씩 총 2기관을 선정하여 총 150개 의 전시물을 분석하였다. 분석 도구는 선행연구(Lee, 2024; Park et al., 2018; Park et al., 2021)에서 제시된 민주시민 역량 분석 틀과 과학커뮤니케이션의 6요소, 그리고 전시유형 분석표를 기준으로 구성하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 대부분의 전시물에서 민주시민역량의 정보처리능력과 과학커뮤니케이션의 개념요소가 지배적으로 발견되었다. 둘째, 전시 관람방 식은 대부분 수동적이어서 관람객이 능동적으로 전시물을 탐구할 기회가 제한적으로 나타났으며, 교육적 목적에도 탐구 보다는 설명 중심의 전시가 많아 민주시민역량과 과학커뮤니케이션 요소를 충분히 반영하는 데 어려움이 있는 것으로 판단되었다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 과학관에서 민주시민역량함양을 효과적으로 함양하기 위해 필요한 과학커뮤니케이션 의 요소와 이를 반영할 수 있는 전시연출 방안을 제안했으며, 도슨트 프로그램 강화 및 과학대중화(PUS)를 목표로 한 전시의 필요성을 시사점으로 제시했다.

본 연구의 목적은 제2언어로서의 중국어 교육에서 읽기 및 스토리텔링을 통한 교 수법(TPRS)의 적용 사례를 분석하여 국내 중국어 교육에서의 효과와 적용 가능성을 검토하는 것이다. 이에 본고에서는 언어습득 이론에서 크라센의 입력 가설을 바탕으 로 TPRS의 개념과 절차를 이론적으로 정리하고, 중국에서 발표된 다양한 TPRS 교육 사례를 분석했다. 사례 분석 결과, TPRS 방식은 의미 중심 입력을 통해 학습자 의 참여를 효과적으로 유도하고 듣기, 말하기, 읽기, 문법 및 어휘 능력을 향상시키 는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 스토리 기반 수업이 언어와 문화를 통합하고 학습자 의 공감을 촉진하며 자발적인 말하기를 장려하는 데 효과적이라는 것을 시사한다. 그러나 스토리 구성, 수업 설계, 교사 역량 부담, 전용 교재 부족 등의 과제가 존재 한다. 국내 중국어 교육에서 TPRS의 적용 가능성을 높이기 위해서는 스토리 뱅크 구축, 교사 연수 프로그램 개발, 기존 스토리를 수업에 활용할 수 있도록 재구성하는 방안이 필요하다고 제안한다.

Purpose: This study examined the effects of clinical nurses' communication skills, critical reflection, and professional self-efficacy on medication safety competency. Methods: The participants were 150 clinical nurses with at least 12 months of experience in a tertiary hospital. Validated scales for assessed communication skills, critical reflection, professional self-efficacy, and medication safety competency. Data were analyzed using SPSS 29.0 with descriptive statistics, t-tests, ANOVA, correlation, and regression analyses. Results: The mean medication safety competency score was 4.24 ± 0.49, with the highest subscale scores observed in crisis management, patient-centered medication management, and problem-solving. Nurses aged 36 years and older and with over 6 years of experience demonstrated significantly higher medication safety competency. Medication safety competency showed positive correlations with communication skills (r = .68, p <. 001), critical reflection (r = .70, p < .001), and professional self-efficacy (r = .61, p <. 001). Regression analysis revealed these factors as significant predictors, collectively accounting for 57.5% of the variance. Conclusion: Communication skills, critical reflection, and self-efficacy significant determinants of nurses’ medication safety competency. Educational programs targeting theses domains are essential to improve medication safety. Further research is needed to assess and refine such interventions, thereby supporting continuous professional development and improved patient outcomes.

Purpose: This study aimed to develop and implement a multi-patient simulation (MPS) program for nursing students with no prior clinical practice experience. It also examined the effects of the program on the students’ communication competence and clinical reasoning ability. Methods: A one-group pretest-posttest design was used. The MPS program, consisting of four patient scenarios was applied to second-year nursing students with no prior clinical practice experience. Communication competence, clinical reasoning ability, and the perceived effectiveness of the multi-patient simulation program were measured using structured tools before and after the program. Results: Communication competence significantly improved after the MPS program, whereas clinical reasoning did not show a statistically significant difference. Perceived effectiveness of the MPS program was generally high, with the debriefing component scoring the highest. Confidence scores were relatively low, suggesting the need for level-appropriate scenario. Conclusion: The MPS program was effectively enhanced communication competence among preclinical nursing students. Although clinical reasoning scores did not improve significantly, the study highlights the importance of introducing realistic simulation experiences early in nursing education. Future research should focus on developing suitable clinical reasoning assessment tools for early year students and conducting randomized controlled trials to validate the effectiveness of customized MPS programs.

Aviation safety is critically dependent on effective communication, particularly in the English language, which serves as the international language of aviation. This paper explores the significance of proficient English language communication among aviation professionals and its impact on operational safety. Effective communication in aviation involves various factors such as lack of accent, perfect listening skills, effective hearback and readback procedures, and more. Additionally, English language efficiency in aviation is closely related to emotional stability and the ability to manage stress, both of which are crucial in highpressure environments. The research will also look into the regulatory challenges faced by the aviation industry in standardizing and enforcing language proficiency requirements by the International Civil Aviation Organization and other international institutions. Through a thorough review of existing regulations, industry practices, and case studies, this paper highlights the steps taken to improve communication skills among pilots, air traffic controllers, and other key aviation professionals.
