This study investigates contact-induced grammatical change with specific emphasis on the prefinal imperfectives –ang and -ag in Swahili. Strategies for marking tense and aspect in Swahili and Bantu languages have been analyzed in a number of books, book chapters and articles. Despite the incontrovertible upsurge in the use of prefinal imperfectives, particularly in communicative interactions amongst the youth in urban settings, investigations into this phenomenon are scarce. Based on naturally occurring data obtained in Nairobi, Kenya and observations and interpretations, this study attempts to analyze the morphosyntactic and semantic features of prefinal imperfectives –ang and -ag in Swahili. First, background information conducive to understanding this grammatical change is provided. This includes the standardization of Swahili and its impact on present-day Swahili, strategies to mark tense and aspect in Swahili and other Bantu languages, semantic features of imperfectivity in Swahili, the prominent roles of mimesis in acquiring a second language in contact situations, the S-curve of language change and its applicability, and the disadvantages of prescriptive grammar rules. All these key concepts and topics are interrelated, and less researched topics must be included to systemically and clearly explain language change. Accordingly, this study is designed to enhance our understanding regarding one of the aspects of grammatical change from both synchronic and diachronic perspectives.

본 연구는 화장품산업에서 중요한 역할을 담당하는 감성 요소를 마케팅의 주요 수단인 광고에 서 찾고자 화장품 광고를 분석대상으로 삼았다. 광고의 핵심적인 구성 요소인 이미지와 카피 사이의 결속 과 강조 현상을 중심으로 유럽의 화장품 광고에 나타난 소구 전략들을 분석하였다. 분석을 통해 우선 화장 품광고에 나타나는 보완적 결속, 강조적 결속, 반복적 결속 등 이미지와 카피의 결속 유형을 파악할 수 있 었다. 다음으로 화장품 광고의 강조적 특징을 강조의 전략적 차원에서 다양하게 분류하였다. 이러한 분석 을 바탕으로 기능성 화장품 광고에서 강조되는 신뢰, 기대, 기쁨 등의 감성소구의 요소들을 발견하였으며, 이들이 갖는 궁극적인 감성 소구 전략도 파악할 수 있었다.

선박직원법은 위험화물 취급에 대한 최소자격 요건을 규정하고 있다. 과거에는 케미컬 탱커 직무교육 이수를 위해 필수적으로 승무 경력이 요구되었으나, 2023년 동 법 개정 이후, 승무 경력이 없어도 교육 이수가 가능해졌다. 이에 따라 교육의 성과는 개정 전에 비 해 낮아질 것이라 예상할 수 있다. 본 연구는 케미컬 탱커 직무교육에서 승무 경력 유무에 따른 교육 만족도 차이를 확인하였다. 그 결과, 이수 자격에서 승무 경력이 삭제된 이후 타 선종에서 케미컬 탱커로 이직자의 비율이 늘고, 승무 경력 유무에 따른 교육 만족도는 승무 경력자가 교육 운영, 교육설계, 교육효과, 강사 능력, 현업 적용 모든 측면에서 높은 만족도를 보였다. 특히 현업 적용에서 가장 큰 만족도 차이를 보이고 교육설계에서 가장 낮은 만족도 차이를 보여 주었다. 이에 대한 개선 방안으로 선상 직무교육의 인정, 시뮬레이터를 활용 한 교육 방법 및 승무 경력자와 무경력자의 토의법을 제안한다. 본 연구는 케미컬 탱커 직무교육 과정에서 승무 경력의 유무가 교육효과 에 미치는 실제 영향을 보여 주며, 향후 교육과정의 개선 시 기초자료로 활용될 것이다.

This study examines the impact of Strategic Emphasis (SE) on Enterprise Value (EV) in KOSDAQ 150 firms, exploring how the balance between Value Creation (VC) and Value Appropriation (VA) strategies influences Tobin's Q as a measure of EV across different industries. Using Mizik and Jacobson's Strategic Emphasis framework, this research conducted a panel regression analysis on financial and stock market data of KOSDAQ 150 firms over a decade (2014–2023). This study employed a comprehensive empirical framework that accounts for industry characteristics, firm profitability, and time effects to examine how different sectors respond to SE changes. The analysis revealed that SE significantly impacts EV, with varying effects across industries. For instance, VC strategies positively influenced EV in the Healthcare sector, whereas VA strategies proved more effective in the Consumer Discretionary sector. Additionally, the relationship between SE and EV was moderated by firm profitability and shaped by industry-specific factors. This study highlights the importance of choosing appropriate measures, such as Tobin's Q, when evaluating corporate strategies. The findings offer actionable insights for Korean venture firms, emphasizing that strategic resource allocation should be tailored to industry-specific dynamics and a firm’s financial context to maximize EV.

Phytoplankton communities, with emphasis on picoplankton and nanoplankton, were investigated in Gamak Bay, South Korea, where freshwater input and coastal water intrusion shape ecosystem functions. Shellfish farms and fish farms are located in the inner bay and outer bay, respectively, and tides translocate uneaten food and urine production from aquaculture farms toward the inner bay. Water masses were distinctly different based on a significantly different density between the surface and bottom layer and among three water masses, including the inner bay, outer bay, and Yeosu Harbor. Phytoplankton communities were quantified using flow cytometry and size-fractionated chlorophyll-a (chl-a) was measured. Salinity was a principal variable separating phytoplankton communities between the surface and bottom layer, whereas Si(OH)4 controlled the communities in the inner bay, and NH4 + and PO4 3- governed the outer bay communities. While phycocyanin-containing (PC) cyanobacteria dominated in the outer bay, phycoerythrin-containing (PE) cyanobacteria dominance occurred with cryptophyte dominance, indicating that nutrients affected the distribution of pico- and nanoplankton and that cryptophytes potentially relied on a mixotrophic mode by feeding on PE cyanobacteria. Interestingly, picoeukaryotes and eukaryotes larger than 10 μm were mostly responsible for the ecological niche in the western region of the bay. Given that chl-a levels have historically declined, our study highlights the potential importance of increased small phytoplankton in Gamak Bay. Particularly, we urge an examination of the ecological role of small phytoplankton in the food supply of cultivated marine organisms.

근대 고등교육 사립 연희전문학교의 설립·운영에서 실무자로 직접적인 영향력을 보여준 에비슨(Oliver R. Avison)의 교육행정가적 인 특징과 상호문화성의 관련성을 고찰하여 현대적 시각에서 조명해 보고자 하였다. 에비슨의 교육행정가적인 네 가지 특징은 상호소통 능력, 협업능력, 추진력, 통합능력이다. 이들은 상호문화성의 중핵적 요소들이 내재되어 실제적으로 교육 현장에서 개방성, 가능성, 공공성, 현재성의 네 가지 상호문화성으로 발현되었다. 따라서 에비슨의 교육행 정가적인 특징들은 곧 상호문화성으로 호환 가능한 자기 번역 능력을 가졌으며, 그 상호문화성이 곧 사립 연희전문학교 설립·운영을 주도한 숨은 공로자였음을 확인할 수 있었다. 상호문화성이 내재된 에비슨의 교육행정가적인 특징들에 관한 연구는 한국의 다층적 삶을 살아가는 모든 구성원의 상생적 삶을 위한 대안적 모색임과 동시에 선교현장에서 교육행정가의 모범으로써 선용할 만한 또 하나의 모델을 발굴하는 일이 될 것이다.

마케팅과 R&D의 상대적 비중으로 측정되는 전략적 강조(strategic emphasis)가 기업 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지는 주로 미국 상장 기업들의 자료에 의존하여 연구 되어 왔다. 하지만 이 머징마켓의 중요성이 증대되고 국가간 경제의 상호의존성이 높아지고 있음을 고려할 때, 전략적 강 조가 기업 성과에 미치는 영향이 선진국 뿐만 아니라 이머징마켓에서도 나타나는지를 살펴보는 연 구는 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 중국 시장에 상장된 기업들의 자료를 분석하여 전 략적 강조가 중국 상장 기업들의 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보고 더 나아가 그 영향이 선진국인 미국과 이머징 마켓인 중국에서 어떻게 다른지 비교하고 있다. 또한 상당수의 중국 기업 들이 국영기업들임을 감안할 때, 국영기업에서 전략적 강조의 효과가 감소 또는 증대되는지를 살펴 본다. 중국과 미국 기업들의 자료를 분석한 결과, 중국 시장에서 전략적 강조가 기업 성과에 긍정 적인 영향을 미치며, 그 영향은 미국에서 보다 중국에서 더 크게 나타났다. 또한, 전략적 강조의 기 업 성과에 대한 긍정적인 영향이 중국의 국영기업일수록 줄어드는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연 구 결과는 기업들이 한정된 자원을 가치 창출 활동과 가치 전유 활동에 어떻게 배분하는지에 따라 기업 성과가 달라지고, 또한 시장 환경에 따라 자원배분 효과가 달라진다는 점을 의미하여 다국적 기업의 글로벌전략 수립에 중요한 시사점들을 제시한다.

2016년 초･중등학교에서 한자교육을 선택적으로 받도록 한 국어기본법의 위헌 확인 헌법소원이 각하되었고, 2018년 교육부는 ‘교과용 도서 개발을 위한 편수자료’를 공지하면서 이전 정부에서 추지하였던 초등학교 교과서의 한자 병기 정책을 사실상 폐지하였다. 이에 따라 초등학교에서는 정규 교과의 학습 시간에 한자교육을 명시적으로 수행하기 어렵게 되었으며, 한자 교육은 창의적 체험활동 시간을 활용하여 학습할 수 있게 되었다. 이러한 실정으로 본고에서는 각 교과의 교육과정을 수행하면서 잠재적 교육과정으로 한문 고전을 활용한 한자 수업에서 전통적 가치관 교육의 실행 방안을 논의하였다. 학습자에게 전통적 가치관을 교육시키기 위해서는 학습자 스스로 전통적 가치가 담겨있는 여러 고전들을 읽고 그 의미를 탐색하여 스스로 성찰하도록 하여야 한다. 그러나 선인들의 전통적 가치관 을 추출할 수 있는 자료들은 대부분 한문으로 기록되어 있고 초등학교 학습자들은 한문으로 기록된 자료들을 읽을 수 없는 것이 현실이다. 따라서 본고에서는 전통적 가치가 담긴 고전을 번역하여 우리말로 풀이한 서사 텍스트를 활용하여 교육하는 방법을 논의하였다. 본고에서 전통적 가치가 담긴 서사 텍스트로 활용한 자료는 ≪삼국유사≫와 ≪삼국사기≫이다. 우리의 선조들이 동몽들의 덕성교육용 교재로 사용했던 ≪명심보감≫, ≪동몽선습≫, ≪격몽요결≫ 등과 같은 자료들이 사람의 본성이나 오륜의 도리, 처세의 원칙 등 유교의 전통 가치를 잘 담고 있어서 전통적 가치관의 교육 자료로 더 적절할 수 있겠으나 현재의 초등학교 교실 수업 현장을 고려할 때 위의 교재를 활용하기에는 많은 어려움이 있다. 그러므로 본고에서는 초등학교 학습자들이 서사 구조를 지닌 이야기를 들을 때 흥미를 가지고 수업에 참여한다는 사실에 주목하여 전통적 가치관을 담을 수 있는 서사 텍스트로서 ≪삼국유사≫와 ≪삼국사기≫의 일화 들을 선정하여 논의를 전개하였다. 2015 초･중등학교 교육과정은 홍익인간의 교육이념과 인격도야, 민주시민으로서의 자질 함양, 인간다운 삶의 영위, 민주국가의 발전과 인류공영의 이상 실현이라는 교육 목적을 이루기 위해 4가지 인간상을 제시하였다. 4가지 인간상은 자주적인 사람, 창의적인 사람, 교양 있는 사람, 더불어 사는 사람이다. 또한 2015 초･중등학교 교육과정은 교육과정이 추구하는 인간상을 실현하기 위해 교과 교육을 포함한 학교 교육 전 과정을 통해 중점적으로 기르고자 하는 6가지 역량을 제시하였다. 곧 자기관리 역량, 지식정보처리 역량, 창의적 사고 역량, 심미적 감성 역량, 의사소통 역량, 공동체 역량이다. 본고는 이러한 역량을 증진시키는 것이 중요하다고 인식하고 전통적 가치관 교육을 6가 지 역량의 신장과 관련지어 논의하였다. 다만 지식정보처리 역량은 중등학교 한문과 교육과정을 참고로 하여 인성역량으로 바꿔서 검토하였다. 본고에서 논의 한 ≪삼국유사≫와 ≪삼국사기≫의 서사 텍스트는 하나의 예시 자료이며 각 교과의 학습목표나 학습제재에 따라 다른 서사 텍스트로 대치할 수 있다. 또한 ≪삼국유사≫와 ≪삼국사기≫의 서사 자료에 국한하지 않고 초등학교 학습자들이 흥미 있게 학습에 몰입할 수 있는 다양한 한문 고전 자료의 활용도 가능할 것이다. 여기에서의 논의가 촉매가 되어 초등학교 수업 현장에서 한문 고전을 활용한 다양한 교수･학습 방법이 도출되기를 기대한다.

현재 우리가 살고 있는 세계는 기상이변으로 재해에 대해 예측하기 어렵지만 조선시대에는 더욱 어려웠을 것으로 예상된다. 1662년 부사 허목이 쓴 『陟州誌』 에는 17세기 중기 삼척 기후에 대한 일면이 서술되어 있고, 또 沈宜昇이 쓴 『삼척군지』에는 삼척의 기후에 대하여 기술하고 있다. 삼척지역은 이상기후와 그로 인한 자연재해가 빈번하게 발생하였고, 이러한 자연재해는 농업생산과 식량부족 현상을 초래하였다. 『陟州先生案』은 다른 지방의 읍 선생안과는 달리 내용이 다양하고 풍부하다. 그러므로 본 글은 『陟州先生案』을 통해 삼척지역에 대한 자연 재해를 좀 더 면밀히 살펴볼 수 있었으며 자연재해에 대한 府使·民의 대응도 검토하였다.

The International Organization for Standardization published ISO 9001 Quality Management System – Requirements in 1987 and has revised four times since then. ISO 9001:2015 is the latest edition and organizations are supposed to obtain the certificate of the new version registration by late 2018. This latest edition has two most noticeable changes. The first major change of new edition focuses on performance with an emphasis on Risk-Based Thinking (RBT) to enhance the process approach. The new edition consists of ten clauses whose first three clauses are largely same as older edition but risks are clearly stated and stressed in last seven clauses, emphasizing on Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle at all levels in the organization. The second major change is that the new edition has the same overall structure as other ISO management system standards known as High Level Structure with Annex SL.In this article we pursue to explain the basic concept of Risk-Based Thinking and describe six steps of Risk-Based Thinking using a realistic example. We enumerate all possible risks that can be occurred in organizations and propose a specific risk management procedure that the quality managers of organizations can systematically implement.

Korea’s main manufacturing industries, which have led its economy for the past three decades, are faced with a serious downturn and loss of competitive advantages due to the current economic depression, China’s rise, and the drop of oil prices. Korean business firms must adopt the paradigm shift in their value strategies, along with a government-led industrial restructuring in order to gain sustainable competitive advantages. Business firms allocate their limited resources between value creation and value appropriation, however, what effect does strategic emphasis on value creation versus value appropriation have on a business firm's financial performance? This paper empirically addresses this issue by examining the effect of shifts in strategic emphasis on stock return. Furthermore, this study examines appropriate choices of strategic emphasis to gain differential financial performance. The data set used in this regression analysis comes from the KISLINE database of NICE Information Service. The variables that form the basis of this analysis are stock return, ROA, and Strategic Emphasis [(advertising expenditures-R&D expenditures)/assets]. The interactive effect with situational factors regarding the firm and the type of technological environment in which the firm is operating was also analyzed. Our results show that investors acknowledge a shift of strategic emphasis as a sign of stock valuation. In comparison to US, Korean business firms have weak value creation capabilities in high-technology industries, and weak value appropriation capabilities in low-technology industries. This proves Korean firms are fast followers in the global market. Our findings suggest that Korean firms have to adopt a balanced value strategy, nurturing value creation and developing value appropriation for overcoming the current economic downturn and becoming a first mover in the dawn of “Industry 4.0.”

Green products are often afflicted with a perceived performance liability, presenting marketing managers with a dilemma of how to motivate consumers to alter their consumption behavior, while acknowledging their negative inferences about green product performance. To address this problem, we develop green emphasis, defined as the prominence given to a firms’ environmental initiative in a green product communication appeal. By employing a green emphasis strategy, a firm makes prominent in a communication message either environmental attributes (Study 1 and 3), or uses assertive terminology (Study 2) to heighten issue importance. When a green emphasis strategy is used, the lack of performance-related extrinsic cues may reduce an individuals’ evaluation of a product’s performance ability. This relationship is mediated by autonomous motivation, which may be enhanced through the provision of information that is of interest and value to an individual (Deci & Ryan, 2000). Next, the moderating variable of performance criticality is examined, whereby the importance of the products’ performance ability is based on its associated category (Study 1) or purchase situation (Study 2). When a product belongs to a performance-critical category, or if situational involvement is heightened, the incongruent product information may heighten the negative impact of green emphasis. Finally, environmental attribute optionality (Study 3) is examined. When optional, the attribute is non-fundamental to the functioning of the base product (Ma, Gill, & Jiang, 2015). By making the environmental attribute an option, it is supposed that the incongruity between the attribute and perceived product performance is mitigated and localized, overcoming the negative effect of green emphasis.

최근 우리사회는 고도의 산업성장을 통해 국토의 도시화, 인구 고령화, 핵가족화 등에 따라 우리의 삶도 빠른 성장속도에 맞추어 빠르게 변화하고 있다. 변화는 단순히 우리의 라이프스타일 뿐 만 아 니라 삶의 관념적 의식 특히, 죽음을 대하는 태도를 크게 바꾸어 놓았다. 우리의 삶의 변화는 급속한 산업 성장 속도와 비례하면서 양적 풍요는 얻었지만, 사람들은 무한 경쟁 속으로 내몰리면서 육체적 피로와 정신적 상실감은 그 어느 때 보다 크다고 전문가들은 말한다. 이러한 배경으로 현대를 살아 가는 사람들은 다양한 방법으로 정신적 피로를 치유하는 방법 중 하나로 영화를 선택한다. 영화는 대중적인 시각매체로 힐링 효과가 매우 크다고 할 수 있다. 필자는 영화<님아! 그 강을 건너지 마오> 를 통해 관객들에게 어떠한 치유적 요소가 있는지 살펴보았다. 카세티(Francesco Casetti)는 “영화적 상황에는 심리학적 과정에서 관객이 ‘참여’라고 하는 관객이 스크린의 대상과 교류하는 ‘감정이 입’ 과정을 가진다고 말한다. 본고는 동 영화가 오늘을 살아가는 현대인들에게 ‘죽음’이라는 관 념적 이미지를 어떤 새로운 시선으로 바라봐야 하는지를 서술 하였으며, 또 관객들은 영화를 통해 자신이 현재 처해있는 상황을 반추하면서 자신의 감정을 영화 속 등장인물이나 상황으로 이입 시켜 분노, 공포, 웃음, 눈물 등을 통해 정서적 치료 효과를 가진다고 서술하였다. 본고의 영화는 진모영 감독의 인터뷰와 영화치료이론, 영화이론을 바탕으로 관객의 치유적 관점으로 분석하였다.

본 연구에서는 비합리적 도박신념, 자아 존중감, 사회적 지지와 병적 도박자의 단도박 기간과의 관계를 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구는 서울, 경기 지역의 단도박 모임에 정기적으로 참석하고 있는 성인 남자 68명을 대상으로 진행하였으며 단도박 기간에 따라 단도박 6개월 미만 집단(n=35), 단도박 3년 이상 집단(n=33)의 2집단으로 나누어 진행하였다. 두 집단의 인구통계학적 특성을 카이검정(x²)으로 살펴본 결과 연령, 결혼여부가 차이가 있어 이 변인들을 공변인으로 두고 두 집단간 비합리적 도박신념, 자아 존중감, 사회적 지지의 차이를 알아보기 위해 ANCOVA 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 비합리적 도박 신념은 기술과대 평가적 추론, 자기과신-비논리적 추론 2개의 척도 모두 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았으며, 자아 존중감은 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 사회적 지지는 4개의 하위 척도 중 정서적 지지만 유의미한 차이를 보였고 평가적지지, 정보적지지, 물질적 지지는 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 따라서 자아 존 중감과 사회적 지지가 병적 도박자의 단도박 기간과 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 제한점 및 추후 연구 방향에 대해 논의하였다.
