        This research was conducted to analyze the relationship between the induction time of runners and the growing degree days for domestic strawberry cultivars, 'Sulhyang' and 'Arihyang'. Runners were induced at 15-day intervals over five periods, starting from late April to early June, and the study compared the number of runner formations and temperature changes for each period while it also investigated the plantlet quality on the transplanting date. Based on back calculations from the transplanting date of September 18th, 'Sulhyang' required induction from late April to early May to achieve 70-day-old plantlets and from late April to mid-May for 60-day-old plantlets. On the other hand, 'Arihyang' needed induction from late April for 70-day-old plantlets and from late April to early May for 60-day-old plantlets. To secure about 20 daughter plants, the growing degree days needed to be around 1,000°C, and a delay in runner induction led to a delay in formation of daughter plants. The relationship between growing degree days and runner formation was expressed as the following quadratic equations: for 'Sulhyang,' y = 9E-06x2 + 0.0124x – 2.4806 (R2 = 0.9696), and for 'Arihyang,' y = 1E-06x2 + 0.0192x – 2.9274 (R2 = 0.9431), and these equations showed high correlations. The crown diameter on the transplanting date was thickest in mid-May for 'Sulhyang', and it tended to increase with delayed runner induction for 'Arihyang'. In conclusion, this study confirmed that the number of daughter plants and growth characteristics varied depending on strawberry cultivars and the timing of runner inducement time. The relationship equations derived through measurements of growing degree days can be used as the fundamental data for reasonable production of daughter plants in the future.

        Water utilities are making various efforts to reduce water losses from water networks, and an essential part of them is to recognize the moment when a pipe burst occurs during operation quickly. Several physics-based methods and data-driven analysis are applied using real-time flow and pressure data measured through a SCADA system or smart meters, and methodologies based on machining learning are currently widely studied. Water utilities should apply various approaches together to increase pipe burst detection. The most intuitive and explainable water balance method and its procedure were presented in this study, and the applicability and detection performance were evaluated by applying this approach to water supply pipelines. Based on these results, water utilities can establish a mass balance-based pipe burst detection system, give a guideline for installing new flow meters, and set the detection parameters with expected performance. The performance of the water balance analysis method is affected by the water network operation conditions, the characteristics of the installed flow meter, and event data, so there is a limit to the general use of the results in all sites. Therefore, water utilities should accumulate experience by applying the water balance method in more fields.

        PURPOSES : The purpose of this study is to identify the beneficiaries of car-sharing that can utilize autonomous car-sharing services when they are introduced. METHODS : This study was conducted in two stages. The first step was to analyze the characteristics of shared car usage by region and rental time using t-Ttest. The second step was to analyze the beneficiaries of autonomous car-sharing services if they are introduced. The beneficiaries were derived using parking time and survey data. RESULTS : Car-sharing behavior showed statistically different usage characteristics by region and rental period. However, the distance traveled per trip for short trips was similar. When the autonomous car sharing service with free return and rental is introduced, 31% (Jeju) to 38% (Daejeon) of short-term renters and 50 to 52% of long-term renters are expected to benefit. CONCLUSIONS : When introducing autonomous car-sharing services, it is necessary to establish a shared car strategy that reflects the characteristics of car-sharing use by region and rental period. In particular, in Jeju Island, where the rental time is relatively longer than Daejeon, the introduction of autonomous car-sharing services will contribute to reducing the cost of shared vehicles in terms of cost.

        목적: 본 연구는 작업치료사가 시행한 시간 관련 중재의 효과와 임상 적용에 관하여 체계적으로 분석하였다. 연구방법: 2000년 1월부터 2022년 12월까지 학술연구정보서비스(Research Information Sharing Service), DBpia, PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science 및 CINAHL을 통해서 ‘장애’, ‘시간관리’, ‘시간보조도구’, ‘중재’, ‘프로그램’, ‘작업치료’를 검색하였다. 해당 문헌들은 PRISMA-2020에 따라 체계적인 검토를 수행하였 고, PEDro를 통하여 연구의 질적 평가를 실시하였다. 최종 선정 기준에 부합한 연구는 총 9편이었다. 결과: 선정된 9편의 시간 관련 중재 중 시간기술훈련과 시간보조도구를 혼합하여 사용한 논문은 4편(44.5%), 시간보조도구는 3편(33.3%), 시간기술훈련은 2편(22.2%)이었다. 시간 관련 중재를 적용한 결과 시간기술에서 유의미한 효과를 보였다. 또한 인지 및 일상생활 기능, 작업 수행도 및 만족도, 심리 사회적 요인의 향상이 나타났다. 결론: 본 연구는 시간 관련 중재가 클라이언트의 시간 처리 능력 및 일상생활 수행 및 삶의 질 영역에 긍정적인 효과를 확인하였다. 추후 국내 작업치료 분야에서도 다양한 시간 관련 중재가 활용되기를 기대한다.

        During wartime, the operation of engineering equipment plays a pivotal role in bolstering the combat prowess of military units. To fully harness this combat potential, it is imperative to provide efficient support precisely when and where it is needed most. While previous research has predominantly focused on optimizing equipment combinations to expedite individual mission performance, our model considers routing challenges encompassing multiple missions and temporal constraints. We implement a comprehensive analysis of potential wartime missions and developed a routing model for the operation of engineering equipment that takes into account multiple missions and their respective time windows. Our approach centered on two primary objectives: maximizing overall capability and minimizing mission duration, all while adhering to a diverse set of constraints, including mission requirements, equipment availability, geographical locations, and time constraints.

        High-temperature molten salts not only demonstrate exceptional thermal and chemical stability but also offer significant advantages in catalyzing chemical reactions. Consequently, they have garnered attention as a promising medium for next-generation nuclear reactors and a wide range of electrochemical processes. Nevertheless, the challenging experimental conditions in molten salts make applying conventional analytical methods to understand reaction mechanisms a formidable task. This underscores the imperative need for more intuitive approaches to investigate molten salt chemistry. One of the simplest yet potent methods involves real-time visual monitoring of the reaction system as chemical reactions progress. In light of this, we have developed an experimental system enabling real-time visual monitoring of the internal dynamics of molten salt media. This system can capture high-resolution videos and images within molten salts, surpassing existing methodologies. We have applied this system in various electrochemical experiments using the molten LiCl-KCl eutectic salt medium. Among them, this study primarily focuses on two challenging experimental scenarios that became comprehensible through our proposed system’s application: (1) the transpassivation of Zr metal and the agglomeration of potassium hexachlorozirconate (K2ZrCl6) solid salt, and (2) the solvation of electrons during the oxidation of Li metal within the molten LiCl-KCl eutectic salt.

        To ensure the maintenance of the nuclear emergency response system, it is important to periodicaly conduct hazard assessments using up-to-date input variables. The results of this review are apllied to drills and exercises, enabling the inspection of emergency plan and response procedures. Therefore, this study aims to analyze off-site consequences according to the occurrence time of the Design Basis Accident (DBA) for the Hanaro Fuel Fabrication Facility (HFFF) by using the recent site-specific meteorological data and to review the appropriateness of urgent protective measures. MELCOR and SafeHanaro computer codes were used for radiation source-term estimation and environmental impact assessment, respectively. It was assumed that radioactive materials are released into environment for 2 hours due to the fire during the nuclear fuel sieving process. The following 12 scenarios for each occurrence time period was selected (0 am, 2 am, 4 am, 6 am, 8 am, 10 am, 12 pm, 2 pm, 4 pm, 6 pm, 8 pm, 10 pm) and the effective dose and thyroid dose in earlyand intermediate-phase were assessed. As a result, the most severe exposure-induced accident scenario is found to be as occurring at 0 am on July 15th, with the Most Exposed Individual (MEI) positioned 200 meters downwind from the facility. The committed effective dose for MEI is identified as to be 2.97E-02 mSv which has a significant margin against the IAEA's (Generic Intervention Level) GIL and (Generic Criteria) GC. During the passage of the radio-active plume, the estimated effective dose and thyroid dose due to inhalation were 2.97E-02 mSV (99.99%) and 5.06E-05 mSv (99.77%), respectively. External exposure appeared to be negligible. Meanwhile, the thyroid dose is noticeably below the criteria for decision-making for distribution of Potassium Iodide (KI). Accordingly, in order for local residents to participate in the exercise and drills, it is essential to develop scenarios considering simultaneous emergencies at multi-facilities and latenight accidents. In conclusion, this results will be used to improve the exercise plans for enhancing the nuclear or radiological emergency competencies of the KAERI.

        When decommissioning a nuclear power plant, it is expected that clearance or radioactive waste (e.g., soil, concrete, metal, etc.) below the low-level will be generated in a short period on a large scale. Among the various types of waste, most of the contaminated soil is known to be classified as clearance or the (very) low-level radioactive waste. Accordingly, an accurate measurement and classification of contaminated soil in real-time during the decommissioning process can efficiently reduce the amount of soil waste and the possibility of contamination diffusion. However, in order to apply a system that measures and classifies contaminated soil in real-time according to the level of contamination to the decommissioning site, a demonstration is required to evaluate whether the system is applicable to the site. In this study, to establish requirements for determining the applicability of the system to the decommissioning site, preceding cases from countries with abundant decommissioning experience were investigated. For example, MACTEC of the U.S. demonstrated the developed system at the Saxton nuclear power plant in the U.S. and confirmed that the amount of soil that can be analyzed per hour in the system is affected by radionuclides, minimum detectable activity (MDA), and applicable volume. In the future, therefore, we will utilize the result of this study to develop the requirements of demonstrating the system for measurement and classification of contaminated soil in real-time.

        Spent nuclear fuel continues to be generated domestically and abroad, and various studies are actively being conducted for interim dry storage and disposal of spent nuclear fuel. The characteristics vary depending on the type of spent nuclear fuel and the initial specifications, and based on these characteristics, it is essential to estimate the burnup and enrichment of spent nuclear fuel as a nondestructive assay. In particular, it is important to estimate the characteristics of spent nuclear fuel with non-destructive tests because destructive tests cannot be performed on all encapsulated spent nuclear fuel in case of intrusion traces in safeguards. Data is made by measuring spent nuclear fuel directly to evaluate burnup of spent nuclear fuel, but computer simulation research is also important to understand its characteristics because past burnup history is not accurately written, and destructive testing is difficult. In Sweden, the dependency of the burnup history in source strength and mass of light-water reactor-type spent nuclear fuel was evaluated, and this part was also applied to MAGNOX in consideration of the possibility of being used to verify DPRK’s denuclearization. SCALE 6.2 TRITON modeling was performed based on public information on DPRK’s 5 MWe Yongbyon reactor, and the source strength of Nb-95, Zr-95, Ru-106, Cs-134, Cs-137, Ce-141, Ce- 144, Eu-154 nuclides were evaluated. Since the burnup of MAGNOX is lower than that of lightwater reactors, major nuclides in decay heat were not considered. The cooling period was evaluated based on 0, 5, 10, and 20 years. In case the discharge timing was different, the total period of discharge and reloading was the same, and the end-cycle burnup was the same, calculations showed that the source strength emitted from major nuclides was evaluated within 2-3% except for Ru-106 and Ce-144 nuclides. Even the burnup step of nuclear fuel is the same, and the reloaded length after discharge is different, i.e., the cooling period between is different at 5, 10, and 20, the source strength of Nb-95, Zr-95, Ce-144, and Cs-137 was evaluated as an error of 1%. Except for Ru-106 and Ce-144, nuclides are highly dependent on burnup. Compared to the case of light-water reactors, the possibility of a decrease in error needs to be considered later because the specific power is low. As a result, radionuclides in released fuel depend on the effects of burnup, discharged and reloaded period, and a cooling period after release, and research is needed to correct the cooling period within the future burnup history. In addition, in this study, it is necessary to select a scenario -based burnup because the standard burnup due to the statistical treatment of discharged fuels was not considered as conducted in previous studies.

        목적 : 본 연구는 시뮬레이터 훈련이 척수손상 환자의 운전시뮬레이터 도로 주행시간과 주행조작 능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 본 연구는 단일사례실험연구 AB설계로 진행되었으며, 기초선 3회기, 중재기 10회기를 적용하였다. 기초선 3회, 중재기 5회 도로주행코스(중급) 수행 시 운전시간, 주행조작 능력 자료가 수집되었으며, 연구결과 분석을 위하여 시각적 분석 방법과 평균 ±2*표준 편차를 사용한 양적 분석을 동시에 사용하였다. 결과 : 연구대상자 3명의 총 주행시간은 기초선 A보다 중재기 B에서 3분 내외의 감소하였고, 세 명 모두에서 통계학적으 로 의미있는 주행 능력의 향상이 확인되었다. 주행조작능력 또한 오류 점수가 감소하였고, 첫 번째 참여자와 세 번째 참 여자의 경우 그 변화가 통계학적으로 유의하였다. 결론 : 본 연구에서 연구대상자의 총 주행시간 및 수행 오류의 감소가 확인되어 운전시뮬레이터 훈련의 효과가 있었다. 이 와 같은 결과는 운전시뮬레이터 훈련의 적용 가능성을 뒷받침 한다.

        곤충생태원에서 진행되는 진로체험프로그램의 일환으로 ‘곤충 캠프, 파브르의 하루’ 프로그램을 개발하여 시범 적용하였다. 참가자는 전주시 지역에 거주하는 초등·중학생 16명이며, 야간시간(19:00-23:00)대에 활동이 이루어짐에 따라 사전에 보호자로부터 참여 동의를 획득하였다. 야외 활동은 각 개인별로 랜턴과 채집 도구를 지참하였으며, 4-5명씩 한 조를 이루어 담당 교사와 보조 교사가 동행하였다. 주된 활동은 야간등화, 통나무 무더 기, 야생의 서식지, 미리 설치한 곤충 트랩 속 곤충 찾기, 스탬프 미션활동 등으로 구성되었다. 실내활동으로는 곤충 동정하기, 곤충 관찰 수첩, 나만의 곤충도감 만들기 등을 진행하였다. 효과를 분석하기 위해서 프로그램이 진행되기 전과 끝난 후에 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 참여자의 평균 연령은 12.8세이며, 프로그램 참여를 통해 자아존중감의 향상(3.34점→3.61)과 진로인식 향상(3.40점→3.66)에 긍정적인 변화를 가져왔다(p<0.05). 야간에 이루어지는 활동으로 고려해야 할 사항이 많기는 하지만, 참여자의 재참여 의도가 90점으로 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났기에, 향후 추가적인 연구 및 새로운 시도가 필요할 것으로 보인다.

        농가에서 곤충자원을 활용한 치유농업프로그램의 개발 요구가 증가함에 따라 기존 곤충 돌보기 중심의 치유프로그램과 더불어 활용할 수 있는 야간 곤충채집 활동을 치유농업프로그램으로 개발하 고 시범 적용하였다. 야간곤충채집 활동은 대학생 9명에게 사전에 참여 동의를 획득하고, 전남대학교 학술림(장성)에서 1박 2일간 진행하였다. 18시부터 24시까지 야간 채집 활동과 익일 오전에는 채집한 곤충을 이용한 곤충 표본 제작 활동으로 프로그램을 구성하였다. 프로그램의 효과 분석을 위해 사전 (활동 전), 중간(채집활동 직후), 사후(표본제작 직후)에 뇌파, 맥파 검사 그리고 설문조사를 실시하였 다. 뇌파 분석 결과, 야간 채집활동 직후 뇌파의 기초율동이 향상(10.67→11.44)하였다(p<0.05). 요인 분석을 통한 스트레스 분석 결과, 내적 스트레스는 3.22(사전)→2.96(사후)로 감소(p<0.1)하였고, 문제 수행능력 관련 스트레스는 2.92(중간)→2.70(사후)로 감소하였다. 이러한 결과는 야간 채집 활동 속에 서 이용되는 근육의 움직임이 뇌 기능 향상과 스트레스 감소에 영향을 줄 것으로 생각된다. 참여자가 적은 연구의 한계를 극복하기 위해 향후 연령대별, 성별 등 다양한 참여자를 대상으로 추가적인 채집 프로그램의 개발 및 적용이 필요하다.
