        본 연구에서는 3D 프린팅 기술과 인체공학 순설계를 이용하여 턱관절 자기공명영상 동적 턱관절 검사 보조기구를 개발하고자 하였다. 3D 프린팅 기술 재료는 3D 프린터(Sindo, 3DWOX1, Korea), 3D 모델러 프로그램(Fusion 360, autodesk, USA), PLA(polylactic Acid) 필라멘트 소재를 이용하였고, 영상 검사는 3.0T 자기공명영상 장비 (Magnetom Vida, Siemens, Germany)를 사용하였다. 개발 방법은 성인 30명(남:13명, 여:17명, 평균나이 22.9±2.0세)의 안면뼈 CT(computed tomography) 검사의 단면 영상을 역학적으로 실측하여 상/하악궁의 형상을 모델링하였다. 모델링된 파일은 FDM(fused deposition modeling) 방식으로 3D 프린팅하였다. 출력된 보조기구는 자화 감수성 인공물 실험, 동적 영상 비교, 만족도 평가로 성능을 평가하였다. 그 결과, 자화감수성 인공물 발생은 개발된 개구 보조 장비와 비교하여 모든 영상에서 유의한 차이가 없었다. 동적 비교 영상에서는 TSE 기법이 모든 평가 법에서 가장 우수한 영상 품질을 보였다. 만족도 평가에서는 피검자는 평균 4.3점, 방사선사는 평균 4.4점으로 높은 만족도를 보였다. 결론적으로 인공물 발생이 없는 환자 맞춤형 보조기구에 개구의 동적 기능이 탑재된 보조기구 를 개발하였다.

        Slipchip offers advantages such as high-throughout, low cost, and simple operation, and therefore, it is one of the technologies with the greatest potential for high-throughput, single-cell, and single-molecule analyses. Slipchip devices have achieved remarkable advances over the past decades, with its simplified molecular diagnostics gaining particular attention, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic and in various infectious diseases scenarios. Medical testing based on nucleic acid amplification in the Slipchip has become a promising alternative simple and rapid diagnostic tool in field situations. Herein, we present a comprehensive review of Slipchip device advances in molecular diagnostics, highlighting its use in digital recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA), loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP), and polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Slipchip technology allows users to conduct reliable droplet transfers with high-throughput potential for single-cell and molecule analyses. This review explores the device’s versatility in miniaturized and rapid molecular diagnostics. A complete Slipchip device can be operated without special equipment or skilled handling, and provides high-throughput results in minimum settings. This review focuses on recent developments and Slipchip device challenges that need to be addressed for further advancements in microfluidics technology.

        본 논문은 예이츠와 셰익스피어가 문학적 도구로서 ‘유령’을 사용함에 있어 서로 다른 입장과 목적을 갖고 있었음을 전제로 그들이 극작품에서 ‘유령’이라는 도구를 어떻게 사용하는지에 대하여 살펴보고자 한다. 셰익스피어 유령극의 전형적인 특징은 유령을 마주하게 되는 인물이 대부분 죄를 지은 인물이라는 점인데, 특정 유령을 사용함으로써 캐릭터의 심리에 대해 많은 것을 드러내고, 이를 통하여 관객들의 공감적 반응을 이끌어낸다. 반면, 예이츠는 유령을 마주하는 인물보다는 유령 그 자체가 목적이었기 때문에 셰익스피어와는 유령에 대한 사용방식이 다를 수밖에 없었다. 예이츠는 극작가로서 그 자신만의 가치를 갖고 있었다.

        At Pyropia farms, organic acid treatments have enhanced productivity and quality by removing pest algae (such as Ulva spp. and diatoms) and reducing the occurrence of diseases. Ulva spp. attaches to the Pyropia nets competing for inorganic nutrients & space and diminishing productivity. Additionally, the presence of attached contaminants (such as diatoms and middy particles) on the Pyropia nets negatively affects the quality of Pyropia. This study investigated the effects of removing Ulva linza and washing the Pyropia yezoensis nets using an activating treatment agent (organic acid and highly saline solution) with an air bubble device. The results of measuring the dead cell ratios after treatment under different conditions showed that the dead cell ratio of U. linza did not significantly increase when the air bubble device combined the activating treatment agent with the activating treatment agent alone. When washing the P. yezoensis nets, the air bubble device was about 19-37% more effective than the activating treatment agent alone. The findings of this study suggest that the air bubble device enhances the efficacy of the activating treatment agent, resulting in the effective cleaning of the Pyropia nets.

        As part of strengthening pyro safety measures, the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute is developing LIBS (Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) application technology to analyze molten salt components in electrolytic recovery device in real time. LIBS performs qualitative and quantitative analysis by analyzing the spectrum of energy emitted by atomizing and ionizing elements on the surface of a salt sample with a high-focused laser. Since salt easily corrodes metal, it must be managed in an environment with a dew point of -40°C or lower. In this study, we designed and manufactured a device that places a rod-type sampling stick on a mounting base, automatically moves it to the optimal measurement position for LIBS, and retrieves the sample. Its characteristics are as follows. First, LIBS is stationary and does not move. Second, the sample stick is placed on a mounting base and can rotate 360 degrees. Third, according to the command, the sample stick automatically moves to the optimal measurement position of LIBS with three degrees of freedom (X, Y, Z). Fourth, the salt attached to the sampling stick is recovered for chemical analysis by driving the gripper mounted at the bottom of the Z axis, Z axis, and rotation axis (R). The X, Y, and Z movement distances of this device are each 100 mm, rotation is 360 degrees, grip stroke is 50 mm, and position accuracy is ±20 m. Once the performance test of the automated salt sample analysis device is completed, it will be installed in a dry room with a dew point of - 40°C or lower. Samples will be collected remotely in connection with the electrolytic recovery device and gantry robot built in the dry room. We plan to conduct experiments to seat the sample stick. Ultimately, we plan to conduct comprehensive experiments in conjunction with LIBS.

        This paper is a study on the malfunction that occurred during the power supply logic of the Gunner Display Device during Mortar Functional Firing under low temperature conditions. As a result of the phenomenon reproduction test and its analysis, the cause of the malfunction of the Gunner Display Device was Glitch, which occurred in the process of converting the image signal, and the improved software was applied to the Gunner's Display System by ignoring some of the image signal conversion process that causes Glitch. The improved Gunner Display Device passed the validity test and applied the improvement to the mortars. As a result of this study, several suggestions for power supply and control logic were proposed. It is expected that this study will be used as a reference in the future design of similar weapons systems.

        Currently, yellow phosphor of Y3Al5O12:Ce3+ (YAG:Ce) fluorescent material is applied to a 450~480nm blue LED light source to implement a white LED device and it has a simple structure, can obtain sufficient luminance, and is economical. However, in this method, in terms of spectrum analysis, it is difficult to mass-produce white LEDs having the same color coordinates due to color separation cause by the wide wavelength gap between blue and yellow band. There is a disadvantage that it is difficult to control optical properties such as color stability and color rendering. In addition, this method does not emit purple light in the range of 380 to 420nm, so it is white without purple color that can not implement the spectrum of the entire visible light spectrum as like sunlight. Because of this, it is difficult to implement a color rendering index(CRI) of 90 or higher, and natural light characteristics such as sunlight can not be expected. For this, need for a method of implementing sunlight with one LED by using a method of combining phosphors with one light source, rather than a method of combining red, blue, and yellow LEDs. Using this method, the characteristics of an artificial sunlight LED device with a spectrum similar to that of sunlight were demonstrated by implementing LED devices of various color temperatures with high color rendering by injecting phosphors into a 405nm deep blue LED light source. In order to find the spectrum closest to sunlight, different combinations of phosphors were repeatedly fabricated and tested. In addition, reliability and mass productivity were verified through temperature and humidity tests and ink penetration tests.

        The occurrence of sudden strike pest events in urban areas is increasing as global warming intensifies, consequently, re causing harmful impacts. Studies on these incidents are fewer in number and insufficient compared to research on other nuisances such as mosquitoes and flies. Therefore, we conducted a study on the development of a selective collection method, using a filter layer to establish a monitoring system for Ephemera orientalis (Ephemeroptera: Ephemeridae), a species frequently identified as a sudden strike pest. Three sampling points were selected along the Hangang River in Namyangju, where E. orientalis outbreaks occur. Prototypes, consisting of four layers and with a light source attached to attract insects, were installed at each sampling point. Sampling was performed every 30 minutes between 19:00 and 22:30 in the month of June. The filter interval of each layer was adjusted so that the collected mayflies were distributed into specific layers. To evaluate the collection efficiency in line with the materials and the filter intervals, the optimal collection efficiency was investigated by combining two types of layer materials (stainless and acrylic) and filter intervals (1-5 mm). The optimal conditions were as follows: The selective collection efficiency was found to be highest at 96.5% when the interval of the selective target filter was 2.0 mm and there was one upper filter.

        In this paper, the key assembly of the recently developed light machine gun-Ⅱ sighting device was identified as prone to experiencing horizontal noise caused by unstable voltage fluctuations under high-temperature conditions during the defense environmental stress screening test. The primary objective ot this study is to address the issue of horizontal noise through circuit analysis and device parameter tuning, aiming to eliminate its presence.

        A universal joint is a device that transmits the power of a combat vehicle engine to a cooling fan. The power of the engine is transmitted to the universal joint as it is without buffering, and play occurs at the joint between the drive shaft connected to the engine and the driven shaft connected to the cooling fan according to the usage time. Accordingly, the universal joint is periodically replaced, and the criterion for this is the degree of torsion of the universal joint. However, if the universal joint is not properly maintained during the replacement cycle, damage to the universal joint as well as damage to the surrounding power supply may occur. Accordingly, a backlash measuring device was developed to determine the limit of durability of the universal joint, and the limit of durability was derived through regression analysis of the backlash value according to the use time obtained from the accelerated life test.

        목적 : 본 연구에서는 텍스트 마이닝을 활용하여 치매 보조기기에 대한 국외 연구의 대상자, 적용 환경, 활 용된 보조기기 및 연구 목적에 대한 핵심 키워드를 추출 및 분석하여 치매 보조기기 관련 연구의 동향 을 파악하였다. 연구방법 : 국외 연구데이터베이스에서 1,126건의 연구를 수집하였으며, KH coder 3 프로그램을 이용하 여 11,366개의 단어를 추출하였다. 연구자가 추출된 단어를 검토하여 연구의 대상자, 보조기기가 적용 된 환경, 활용된 보조기기, 연구 목적과 관련된 키워드들을 추출 및 분류하였다. 이후, 추출된 키워드에 대하여 빈도분석을 실시하였으며, 동시출현단어 분석을 통해 연관어 네트워크를 생성하였다. 결과 : 빈도분석 결과, 가장 많이 연구된 대상자, 환경, 적용된 보조기기, 연구 목적 유형은 보호자, 집, 프 로그램/앱, 사회참여 및 상호작용 보조였다. 연관어 네트워크 생성 결과, 보호자는 정서 및 심리지지와 돌봄과 연관성을 보였으며 돌봄은 보조기기 유형 중 원격의료와 연관성을 보였다. 사회참여를 목적으로 하는 경우에는 프로그램/앱과 로봇과 연관성을 보였다. 결론 : 본 연구의 결과를 통해 치매 보조기기에 대한 국외 연구의 주 연구 대상자와 환경 및 활용 보조기 기, 연구 목적을 확인하였으며, 각 영역 간의 관계성을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 치매 보조기기 선 택에 대한 정보제공과 치매 보조기기 지원 정책에 대한 방향성을 제시해 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

        LiCl-KCl eutectic possesses unique properties such as a low melting point, high thermal conductivity, and good electrical conductivity. These properties make it suitable for various applications, including nuclear power generation, pyroprocessing in nuclear waste management, and thermal energy storage systems. In most experiments using LiCl-KCl, the molten salt composition is an important factor; therefore, periodic analysis through sampling is necessary for monitoring compositional changes. Although manual sampling is typically used, it is time-consuming and can introduce errors due to low reproducibility. To address this issue, we have developed an automatic molten salt sampling device using the cold-finger method. This method involves immersing the tip of a tungsten rod in hightemperature LiCl-KCl, removing it after a few seconds, and allowing the adhered molten salt to solidify instantly. A collector then scratches and drops the solidified sample. These processes are carried out automatically using servo motors, enabling the sampling device to move around the molten salt system. We have optimized the sampling conditions, such as insertion and withdrawal rate, immersion time, and the interval between continuous sampling, based on the molten salt temperature. The temperature was set between 500°C and 850°C, considering the operating temperatures of the applications. In addition to sampling speed, the sampling depth is a key condition for determining the sampling mass. Therefore, we examined the amount of sample depending on the sampling depth and, particularly, considered the change in salt height when sampling is performed continuously. As a result, we determined the number of sampling iterations required to reach the target sample mass. Furthermore, to minimize the initial salt loss, we noted that sampling from the salt surface resulted in less representative samples. To determine the reliability, we compared the results of surface sampling with those obtained when sampling at the middle of the salt. This study will enable highly reproducible and reliable sampling by providing a prototype for an automatic sampling device for molten salt along with guidelines.

        The nuclear facilities at Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) have generated a variety of liquid radioactive waste and most of them have low-level radioactive or lower levels. Some of the liquid radioactive waste generated in KAERI is transported to Radioactive Waste Treatment Facility (RWTF) in 20 L container. Liquid radioactive waste transported in a 20 L container is stored in a Sewer Tank after passing through a solid-liquid separation filter. It is then transferred to a very low-level liquid radioactive waste Tank after removing impurities such as sludge through a pre-treatment device. The previous pre-treatment process involved an underwater pump and a cartridge filter device passively, but this presented challenges such as the inconvenience of having to install the underwater pump each time, radiation exposure for workers due to frequent replacement of the cartridge filter, and the generation of large amounts of radioactive waste from the filter. To address these challenges and improve efficiency and safety in radiation work, an automated liquid radioactive waste pre-treatment device was developed. The automated liquid radioactive waste pre-treatment device is a pressure filtration system that utilizes multiple overlapping filter plates and pump pressure to effectively remove impurities such as sludge from liquid radioactive waste. With just the push of a button, the device automatically supplies and processes the waste, reducing radiation hazards and ensuring worker safety. Its modular and mobile design allows for flexible utilization in various locations, enabling efficient pre-treatment of liquid radioactive waste. To evaluate the performance of the newly constructed automated liquid radioactive waste treatment device, samples were taken before and after treatment for 1 hour cycling and analyzed for turbidity. The results showed that the turbidity after treatment was more than about four times lower than before treatment, confirming the excellent performance of the device. Also, it is expected that the treatment efficiency will improve further as the treatment time and number of cycles increase.
