        The objective of this study is to evaluate the location of a failure surface generatrix and the punching shear strength of hollow plat slabs. The main test parameters was the location of a starting position of hollow materials that varied between 1d and 3d, where d is effective depth of slab section. Based on test results, the starting position of hollow materials in plat slabs is recommended to be more than 2d to avoid the reduction of concrete punching shear strength.

        This study reviews past literatures relevant to concrete beams using recycled aggregates (RAs) and investigate existing shear design equations for reinforced concrete (RC) beams. Then, a simplified, emprical design equation to determine the shear strength of high strength RC beams with RAs is proposed and compared with existing equations. The analysis indicated that the proposed equation provided the most accurate estimated of strength of high strength concrete beams with RAs.

        This study investigates the ultimate strength and curling influence in single shear bolted connection with aluminum alloys(6061-T6) using finite element analysis. The applicability of numerical modeling was validated through the comparison of existing test results. Main variables are end distance and edge distance. Strength reduction ratio by curling was estimated quantatively and it is known that the curling reduced the ultimate strength by maximum 26%.

        Difference of two standards, AISC N690 and KEPIC SNG, for the in-plane shear strength was experimentally investigated. In AISC N690, unlike KEPIC SNG, the tie system should be applied to the entire surface of the faceplate. However, using many tie systems is impractical and ineffective due to technical challenges such as difficulty of welding and maintenance. Thus, reducing the number of tie systems is needed, by replacing them with studs. In this study, we experimentally investigated distribution effect of in-plane shear strength connector such as stud and tie bar.

        In this study, the shear buckling strengths of the trapezoidal and sinusoidal corrugated plates with the same self-load were compared, and their characteristics and tendencies were analyzed. In the preceding comparative study of corrugation shapes, the corrugation wave depth and the corrugation wave angle were the same. As these target, A linear buckling analysis was conducted, and the differences in the shear buckling mode and the buckling stress were analyzed.

        In case of Enlargement method using Post-installed Anchors, mechanical expansion anchors were resisting tensile and shear force of Modular extension structure in exist building. The purpose of this study is to investigate strength of Post-installed Anchor on 16 MPa low strength Concrete under less than standard effective depth(hef). The fracture pattern of the specimens in Pull-out tests was pull-out failure and concrete break out failure. In monotonic load shear tests the fracture pattern was steel failure of anchor and concrete break out failure.

        In this study, shear behaviors of various SFRC were predicted using Vector 2 program. Obtained analytical data was compared with preceded experimental data performed by other researchers. It was found that one increase in the span to depth ratio results in 54% decrease in the shear strength. Likewise, 1% increase in the reinforcement ratio causes a 19.9 % increase in the shear strength.

        GFRP 보강근의 역학적 성능은 고온과 콘크리트의 알칼리 환경에서 크게 감소된다. 본 연구에서는 GFRP 보강근이 열손상 뒤, 알칼리 환경에 추가로 노출되었을 때의 계면전단강도변화를 고찰하는데 집중하였다. 이를 위하여 GFRP 보강근 시편은 270도의 열에 1시간동안 노출된 후 알칼리 용액에 장기간 노출되었으며, 전단시험에 의하여 파괴되었다. 비교를 위하여 열손상이 없는 시편도 같은 기간 동안 알칼리 용액에 노출된 후 전단에 의하여 파괴되었다. 결과에서, 열손상을 받은 GFRP보강근의 계면전단강도의 감소가 열손상이 없는 보강근 보다 훨씬 큰 것으로 나타났다. 본 실험을 근거로 하여, 열손상을 미리 받은 GFRP 보강근이 알칼리에 노출되었을 때, 장기 잔존계면전단강도의 예측을 위한 2차식을 제시하였다.

        본 연구의 목적은 고강도 SFRC 보의 강섬유 보강효과를 평가하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 13개의 실험체를 제작하여 성능실험을 실시하였다. 실험 변수는 전단경간비, 강섬유 혼입률, 전단보강근비이며 콘크리트 강도는 60 MPa이다. 기존 연구결과와 재료 및 부재 실험결과에 대한 분석에 의하면, 전단경간비 2.5와 강섬유 혼입률 1.0%인 경우가 강섬유 보강효과가 최대로 발휘되는 것으로 평가되었다. 강섬유 보강 및 전단경간비를 고려한 기존 전단내력식은 고강도 SFRC보의 내력을 과소평가하는 것으로 평가되었다. 향후 고강도 SFRC 보의 강도특성에 대한 보완 연구가 필요한 것으로 판단된다.

        철근콘크리트 구조물의 전단거동은 수년간의 많은 연구에도 불구하고, 이론적으로 명확하게 규명하기에 어려운 문제중에 하나이다. 중공슬래브의 휨강도와 전단강도는 중공부로 인하여 감소되기 때문에, 이에 따른 구조물의 성능을 예측하는 것은 중요한 문제라 할 수 있다.현재 각국의 중공슬래브 전단설계기준은 실험에 의한 기준식을 제시하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 철근비에 따른 일방향 중공슬래브 전단강도 산정방법에 관한 연구를 수행하기 위해 실험결과를 분석하고, 전단강도 산정식들을 비교, 분석하였다.

        플랫 플레이트 시스템은 기둥 주위의 국부적인 응력집중 현상으로 인한 뚫림전단 파괴에 대해 취약하다. 이를 보강하기위하여 전단보강재로 철근 스터럽을 사용하지만 부재에 높은 전단력이 작용할 경우, 배근이 조밀해지고 자중이 증가하고, 골재가 고르게 배치되지 않아 구조물의 성능저하를 유발한다. 철근과 달리 FRP는 높은 내부식성과 경량 등의 장점을 가지고 있어 철근 스터럽의 대체재로서 선택하였다. 전단보강재를 GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer) 판의 형태로 제작하고 플랫 플레이트 슬래브에 매립하였다. 본 연구에서는 무 보강, 스터럽, GFRP 판으로 보강된 3개의 시험체를 제작하였으며 GFRP 판으로 보강된 플랫 플레이트 슬래브의 역학적 거동 파악 및 전단내력을 평가하는데 목적을 두었다.

        Generally, bolted connection was used in stainless steel structural basic design for stainless steel bolted connection is similar to that of carbon steel connection. However, stainless steel with high ductility can be more beneficial if the mechanical characteristics are well used. Experimental and analysis studies had conducted. Curling was observed in some specimens with a relatively long end distance and affected strength reduction of bolted connection. Besides, finite element model had developed and its validation was verified through comparison with test results. In this paper, parametric analysis was performed using proven FE model. Key variables are the end distance and plate thickness of bolted connection. Ultimate strength and curling effect were also investigated.

        The shear behavior of reinforced concrete structure is one of the difficult problems that are not identified theoretically clearly yet despite the efforts of researchers for several years. Since bending and shear strength of hollow slab may decrease due to hollow part inside slab, prediction of such structure performance is very important. In this study, the shear behavior of one-way hollow slab were analyzed through experiment to conduct study on estimation of shear strength, and after comparative evaluation of structure performance based on experiment results.

        The GFRP shear reinforcement is manufactured into a plate shape with several openings, and it is embedded into concrete with longitudinal steel reinforcements during construction stage. In this paper, the performance of the newly proposed shear reinforcement was investigated by carrying out a structural test on four concrete deep beam specimens. Test parameter is shear span-to-depth ratio, and the cracking pattern, failure mode and the effects of this parameter on the shear strength were examined.

        The corrosion is a main cause of degradation damage in the steel bridges. The evaluation whether the repair or reconstruction would be need or not for the corroded steel member, is based on cross section and quantity of corroded portion. It is considered reasonable that the evaluation will be base on the endurance of the corroded member. In this study, the bending endurance of the I-shaped steel girder with the local corrosion on the lower flange is discussed by using elastic-plastic finite element analyses. That simple way of estimating it is also proposed.

        This paper describes an experimental program to investigate the shear behavior of insulated concrete sandwich panels (CSPs) with different types of GFRP shear connector. The study included testing of 13 insulated CSP specimens with two types of surface conditions for extruded polystyrene (XPS) insulation and various shapes of shear connectors. All specimens were loaded in direct shear by means of push-out and were consist of three concrete panels, two insulation layer and four rows of GFRP shear connectors. Load-relative slip between concrete panel and insulation response of CSP specimens has been established through push-out shear test. Test results indicate that the surface condition of insulation has a significant effect on the bond strength between concrete panel and insulation. The specimen used XPS foam with 10mm deep slot shows higher bond strength than those used XPS foam with meshed surface. Corrugated GFRP shear connectors show equivalent strength to grid GFRP shear connectors. Cross-sectional area and embedded length of shear connector have a notable effect on overall response and inplane shear strength of the CSP specimens.

        이 연구에서는 전단하중을 받는 부유식 콘크리트 구조물 모듈 접합부의 구조거동 실험연구를 수행하였다. 모듈 접합부 전단키의 균열 양상, 전단거동 및 전단강도를 파악하였다. 전단강도의 영향을 파악하기 위해 전단키의 경사각도, 횡방향 구속응력 및 콘크리트의 압축강도 등을 실험변수로 고려하였다. 전단키의 경사각도가 증가함에 따라 접합부의 전단강도가 증가하였다. 또한, 구속응력이 증가함에 따라 전단키의 전단강도가 증가하였다. 실험변수에 따른 전단거동 실험결과를 토대로 접합부의 전단강도 평가식을 제안하였으며, 제안식에 의한 전단강도 예측값은 실험값에 근접하는 것으로 나타났다.

        In this study, experimental research was carried out to study the high strength RC exterior beam-column joints regions, without the shear reinforcement, using high ductile fiber-reinforced mortar. Specimens designed by retrofitting the exterior beam-column joint regions of existing reinforced concrete building showed a stable mode of failure and an increase in shear strength capacity due to the effect of enhancing dispersion of crack control at the time of initial loading and bridging of fiber from retrofitting new high ductile materials during testing.
