A new variety 'Suni' was released from the cross between 'Ujeong' and 'Asadal' by the breeding laboratory of the Korea Forest Research Institute (KFRI) in 2001, and the preliminary, advanced and regional trials for evaluation and selection of this variety, were carried out from 1997 to 2001. The progenies were annually managed with transplanting and 5 to 6 times in weeding. Leaves, flowers, branches and growth characteristics on selected trees were investigated. Results of morphological characteristics showed that 'Suni' has simple flower in open type of flower and funnel shape in flower type. The diameter of flower is 61.9 mm and very small as compared with contrastive cultivar, 'Yeongkwang'. The petal is fully folded as compared with contrastive cultivar and diameter of eye zone is 19.7 mm. Leaf type is in oval shape, and leaf length and width are short (58.3 mm) and narrow (34.4 mm), respectively. Leaf width to width of leaf shoulder ratio having 1.7 is very wider as compared with contrastive cultivar having 1.4. Shape of leaf margin, depth of leaf margin and shape of base of the variety are serrate, medium and rounded, respectively. Quantity of bloom is in normal condition and changes in the number of flowers by seasons are small, also, its blossom comes into summer. 'Suni' having very small flowers could be useful for a good ornament as a dwarf variety.
Tamra' was selected in Jeju in 1997 and its open-pollinated progenies were proliferated at the Korea Forest Research Institute in Suwon, Kyungkido. Stability of genetic characteristics was evaluated from 2001 to 2004. The progenies were annually managed with transplanting and 5 to 6 times in weeding. Leaves, flowers, branches and growth characteristics on selected trees were investigated. Results of morphological characteristics showed that 'Tamra' has simple flower in open type of flower and funnel shape in flower type. It has flower diameter of 100.0 mm that is relatively very large as compared with contrastive cultivar, 'Chilbo'. The petal is slightly folded as compared with contrastive cultivar and its eye zone is not spread. Leaf type is in oval shape, and leaf length and width are short (47.1 mm) and narrow (23.8 mm), respectively. Leaf width to width of leaf shoulder ratio having 1.5 is much wider as compared with contrastive cultivar having 1.4. Thickness of leaf, gloss of leaf and density of branch are all medium. Quantity of bloom is in normal condition and changes in the number of flowers by seasons are small, also, its blossom comes into summer. "Pinky Smile", an Asiatic lily variety was released by the National Horticultural Research Institute (NHRI), in 2006. A cross was made between a light pink colored Asiatic lily variety "Marlene" and a white colored Asiatic lily variety "Pinguin" in 1998. Selection was made in the natural cultivation condition from the progenies derived from the cross between "Marlene" and "Pinguin" in 2000. The flower characteristics and performance of "Pinky Smile (line name was Wongyo C1-82)" were investigated from 2001 to 2005. Although its flowering time is early June, year-round cut flower production was possible by storing the bulbs at -1 or -2℃. It has unspotted, upward facing, and ivory-pink (RP62A+W155B) petals with no fragrance. The plant height is 107 cm. The width of flower is 13.9 cm. The weight and circumstance of bulb are 39.3 g and 15.4 cm, respectively. For forcing culture, it is necessary to add calcium to the fertilizer or remove side scales to prevent leaf scorch. Botrytis disease should be properly controlled especially in wet season.

The weight and circumference of bulb are 18.4±6.8 g and 12.4±2.2 cm, respectively. For forcing culture, it is necessary to add calcium to the fertilizer or remove side scales to prevent leaf scorch. Botrytis disease should be properly controlled especially in wet season.
Lately, the autumn cropping areas of potato have been steadily increased to supply fresh potatoes all year round in Korea. Although "Dejima" is a main cultivar for autumn cropping, it is very susceptible to common scab (Streptomyces scabies) and show high frequency of physiological disorders such as knobs and cracking on tubers. "Chudong" was bred in 2002 for fresh table use from a cross between H83520-3 with short tuber dormancy and "Superior" with common scab resistance. It has attractive, round tuber shape with white skin and flesh colors. Its tuber dormant periods is 5 days longer than 65 days of "Dejima". Its average yields were 32.4 and 21.8 ton/ha at 90 days after planting in spring and autumn cropping of regional yield trials, respectively. It is more resistant to common scab and potato leaf roll virus and less susceptible to late blight (Phythophthora infestans) compared to "Dejima". However, it is susceptible to potato virus Y.
