The purpose of this paper is to establish specifications and to make database for the construction of sea pools. Sea pools are faced with sea water including salts, so it will be used that high strength concrete, reinforced high strength and urethane for its construction. 3D-analysis by SAP2000 software is required for designing of sea pools in order to confirm its degradation of the concrete durability. This results show that the strength of concrete of 50MPa is the most suitable and 4m wave is more advantageous than that of 2m.

In this study, the multi-functional fishway with underground passage, sediment block system reflect the fish's ecological characteristics and many kinds of fish up and down easily is proposed. The 3D-analysis of Reinforced Concrete(R/C) Slab and R/C + Steel Concrete(S/C) Slab with rectangular underground passage are carried out by SAP 2000 software program for multi-functional fishway's durability. The Slab analysis results show that the R/C Slab type of the maximum stress is decreased by 33.5 than that of R/C + S/C type(Size:1m x 0.4m, Velocity: 1.6m/sec)and the shortage of shear is 2 than that of R/C + S/C type(Size:1m x 0.4m, Velocity: 1.6m/sec). The stability of R/C + S/C concrete slab with underground passage is more advantageous than that of R/C concrete slab.

Fish movement was blocked by Dam construction in korea, but fish of the ecosystem can be destoryed without movement of fish in the small stream or river. In this study, the water ladder type of fishway with the fish's ecological specific character is proposed. That is created similar to the real natural environment in order to overcome differences in water pressure. It consists water hydrology, bypass, viewing chamber and viewing windows. It is used IT pumping system and bypass fishway for dry season especially. 3D analysis by SAP2000 Soft Ware is essential in concrete structures for the degradation of its durability using the multi-functional fishway's advantages. The size of water tank(4m×4m×5m) is more advantageous than that of other size.

Recently, new cities of Korean coastal area, connective land·bridge and marine structure are increased. However, actually the evaluation method of pile head strengthening performance is not clearly defined, and, in spite of many technology proposed, its qualitative evaluation is not made. Therefore, the fact is that the prefabricated pile head strengthening stability is not verified. Therefore, it’s necessary to evaluate various technologies strategically and verify safety of precast file’s cap.

The quantities of waste glass have been progressively increased because of the rapid industrialization and quality of life. And, the most of them are not recycled. Concrete is the most widely used construction material, the huge amounts of natural resources are required to make concrete. So, it is needed to investigate the possibility of recycling of waste glass as concrete material ingredient. In this paper, the mechanical properties of mortar substituted the crushed heavy weight waste glass and p.s. ball as fine aggregate are compared and evaluated. From the results, it is concluded that the heavy weight waste glass can be used as fine aggregate of concrete.

Many researches are conducted on the concrete pannel to improve the capacity. Up to now, however,the surface glossing of concrete pannel is rarely executed. So it is needed to investigate the surface glossing of concrete pannel. In this paper, the mechanical properties and surface condition of the concrete pannel was compared with water content and aggregate ratio. From the results, when aggregate ratio increase, compressive strength and flexural strength decrease. And, the surface glossing of Non AE concrete pannel was better than that of AE concrete pannel.

This research provides the analyzing case of abnormal expanding of concrete including steel slag aggregate as a recycled aggregate. To determine the reason of abnormal expansion, the components of concrete were searched and the aggregate was found out as a reason of this expansion. The aggregate used was a type of steel slag aggregate without any specific treatment for volumetric stability such as fast-cooling or aging. SEM observation of the aggregate and XRD analysis of the cement paste were conducted and it was found out that the surface of the aggregate is very rough and the cement paste contained a lot of calcium and magnesium. From this research, it is considered to contribute on providing the actual case of failure using steel slag aggregate for concrete.

This paper evaluates the shear strength, behavior and failure mode of reinforced concrete beams with deformed GFRP reinforcing bar. Four concrete beam specimens were constructed and tested. It was carried out to observe failure behavior and load-deflection of simply supported concrete beams subjected to four-point monotonic loading. Load-deflection for FRP reinforced concrete beam member were predicted.

This study investigates the geodesic dome based on an icosahedron and development of joint modules that make up a dome structure in order to model the modular dome using the wood-plastic composite member with 70% of wooden fiber contests. The purpose of this work is used as a basis for verification of structural performance of WPC in the real structures.

The expansive behaviour of heat-cured mortars containing fly ash was investigated. The use of fly ash(replacement 20%) to the mortar reduced the long term expansion. But increase of SO3 in cement led to increase the long term expansion, and gave impetus to the formation of monosulphate for elevated temperature.

High Performance Fiber Reinforced Cementitious Composites (HPFRCC) provides high fracture energy absorption capacity, as well as high strength, being one of the most promising new construction materials. This study is a part of the research works to develop a blast/impact protection material for existing structures. High flow slurry can be used as a cementitious matrix to fill the HPFRCC. A new type of test method was adopted herein, called J-Fiber Penetration Test, to investigate the ability of cement slurry to flow through the fiber mass.

The purpose of this experimental study is to evaluate that KCI2012 equation for the development length, ldt, of headed bars can be used to calculate the lap length of headed deformed bars in grade SD400~500 for high strength concrete. Test results showed that specimens with lap lengths equal to 1.3ldt had maximum flexural strengths as 0.84~0.90 times as the nominal flexural strengths. These observations indicate that 1.3 is unsuitable to the tensile lap length of headed deformed bars in grade SD400~500 for high strength concrete.

In this paper, ultrasonic velocity(UV) test through OPC and Slag concrete is conducted considering porosity under compressive and tensile loading conditions. The test results show that up to 50% of compressive loading condition, UV a little increases and remarkably drops at peak load, however it fluctuates under the tensile loading condition because of the number of increase micro cracks in concrete specimens.

Chloride penetration resistance test was conducted for verifying anti chloride of shotcrete toward change of slag amount in shotcrete. This research compared with each charge passed of material age 28 specimens, which are the results of the chloride penetration resistance test. The result show the shotcrete mixture with slag has great effect on the improvement of anti chloride.
