        미국선녀벌레 [Metcalfa pruinosa (Say, 1830)]는 북미 원산 해충으로서 2009년 서울, 경기, 경남 등 3개 시군구에서 처음 확인되었으며, 2015년 현재 52개 시군구로 급격히 분포 지역이 확대 되고 있는 침입 해충이다. 본 연구는 미국선녀벌레의 월동난의 휴면 종료 시기를 추정하고, 온도에 따른 발육 특성을 조사하고자 수행되었다. 월동난의 휴면 종료 시점을 추정하기 위해 2011년 2회, 2012년 8회, 2015년 5회 월동난을 채집하여 실내에서 가온하였으며, 2013년 채집된 월동난을 이용하여 10개 항온, L:D=14:10 조건에서 발육 특성을 조사하였다. 미국선녀벌레 월동난은 4월 상순부터 휴면이 종료되기 시작하여, 4월 하순경에는 대부분의 난들이 휴면에서 종료되는 것으로 추정된다. 월동난은 처리 온도 중 12.5℃와 35℃를 모든 온도 조건에서 약충으로 발육이 가능하였다. 온도에 따른 난 발육 기간은 4월 26일 채집된 월동난의 경우 15℃에서 46.9일로 가장 길었고 30℃에서 13.3일로 가장 짧았다. 선형모델을 이용하여 추정한 미국선녀벌레 월동난의 발육영점온도는 10.1℃였으며 유효적산온도는 252.5DD 였다. 온도에 따른 발육률을 설명하기 위해 사용된 Lactin 2 등, 4가지 비선형 모델 모두 r2=0.99 이상의 높은 모형적합성을 보여주었다. 2013년 경기도 수원지역의 온도 자료를 사용하여 월동난 부화시기를 추정한 결과 5% 누적 부화일은 5월 22일, 99% 누적 부화일은 6월 5일로 추정되었다. 이상의 결과들은 미국선녀벌레의 효율적인 개체군 밀도 관리 대책 수립을 위한 기초 정보로 사용할 수 있을 것이다.

        본 연구에서는 flake type hybrid silver powder와 poxy type hybrid binder로 그라비어 오프셋 인쇄용 실버 페이스트를 제조하였다. 제조된 실버 페이스트로 그라비어 오프셋인쇄법을 이용하여 30/30㎛(line/space) 를 연속적으로 300장 인쇄가 가능했다. 130℃에서 20분 동안 오븐에서 경화시켰을 때, 선저항은 약 10.4Ω㎝, 연필경도는 4H였다. 결론적으로 본 연구의 결과는 터치 패널용 narrow bezel전극으로 사용 가능함을 알 수 있었다.

        P300 숨긴정보검사는 전통적인 대응수단에 큰 영향을 받지 않는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 전형적인 세 자극 프로토콜을 사용한 P300 숨긴정보검사가 새로운 대응수단에 영향을 받는지 검증하였다. 세 가지 유형의 대응수단을 사용하였다. 첫 번째는 순차적 대응수단으로, 무관련자극이 제시될 때마다 왼손 검지손가락에 힘주기, 오른쪽 발가락에 힘주기, 마음속으로 어머니 이름 부르기, 마음속으로 아버지 이름 부르기를 순서대로 하나씩 수행하는 것이었다. 나머지 두 개의 대응수단은 부분 매칭 대응수단으로 네 개의 무관련자극 중 특정한 2개의 무관련자극에만 반응을 하는 것이었다. 두 번째는 행동적 부분 매칭 대응수단으로, 특정한 한 무관련자극이 제시되면 왼손 검지손가락에 힘을 주고, 특정한 다른 무관련자극이 제시되면 오른쪽 발가락에 힘을 주는 것이었다. 세 번째는 정신적 부분 매칭 대응수단으로, 특정한 한 무관련자극이 제시되면 마음속으로 어머니 이름을 부르고, 특정한 다른 무관련자극이 제시되면 마음속으로 아버지 이름을 부르는 것이었다. 실험결과, 순차적 대응수단을 사용하는 것은 예상과는 달리 P300 숨긴정보검사의 정확판단율을 77%에서 92%로 증가시켰다. 부분 매칭 대응수 단은 P300 숨긴정보검사의 정확판단율에 부정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 물리적 대응수단은 정확판단율을 77%에서 46%로 감소시켰으며, 정신적 대응수단은 정확판단율을 100%에서 69%로 감소시켰다. 대응수단의 사용을 억제하 거나 탐지할 수 있는 기법의 개발 필요성을 논의하였다.

        We evaluated the developed microstructures and mechanical properties of a severely plastically deformed Ni-30Cr alloy. Normal rolling and differential speed rolling were used as deformation processes, and the thicknesses of the specimens were reduced to 68 % of the original thickness after holding at 700 oC for 10 min and annealing at 700 oC for 40 min to obtain a fully recrystallized microstructure. Electron backscattering diffraction was used to analyze the characteristic distribution of the grain boundaries on the deformed and annealed specimens. Differential speed rolling was more effective for refining grains in comparison with normal rolling. The grain size was refined from 33 mm in the initial material to 8.1 mm with normal rolling and 5.5 mm with differential speed rolling. The more refined grain in the differential-speed-rolled material directly resulted in increases in the yield and tensile strengths by 68 % and 9.0%, respectively, compared to normal rolling. We systematically explain the relationship between the grain refinement and mechanical properties through a plastically deformed Ni-30Cr alloy based on the development of a deformation texture. The results of our study show that the DSR process is very effective when used to enhance the mechanical properties of a material through grain refinement.

        The study will design the structural optimization of 30W LED heat sink using the thermal conductive plastic materials. The advantages of thermal conductive plastic heat sink are having formability and being able to lighten products. A heat sink was optimized in terms of the number, and the thickness of fins and the base thickness of the heat sink, using the Heatsinkdesigner software. Also by using SolidWorks Flow simulation and thermal analysis software, the thermal characteristics of the heat sink were analyzed. As the result, the optimized heat sink has 22 fins, which are 1.5mm thick and a 3.8mm-thick base. The weight of the heat sink was 310g, and the highest and the lowest temperature were 64.93℃ and 45.96℃ respectively. Because of the low thermal conductivity of the thermal conductive plastic, the highest and the lowest temperature of the thermal conductive plastic heat sink were 14.3℃ higher and 2.19℃ lower respectively than an aluminum heat sink

        In this paper a study on prediction of the wave resistance performance of a very large crude oil carrier(300K VLCC) was taken into account according to the changes in L/B/T. The wave resistance of the ship was calculated using the potential based panel method in which exact nonlinear free surface boundary conditions and the trim and sinkage were considered. The panel cutting method were implemented to generate the hull surface panel and the free surface panel were generated using the variable free surface method. The numerical analysis was carried out according to the 12 different ships. The wave resistance coefficients and the wave patterns of the 12 different ships were compared with each other. As a result the wave resistance of a ship was found to be significantly affected in L/B than T.

        The purpose of this study is to propose the information and idea that can be applied to color planning by investigating preferred color according to ages, items by distribution of 30s~50s women. As the survey method, questionnaire survey and one-to-one investigation by preparing the color table of basic color and trend color were conducted, and total of 280 questionnaires were used for statistical analysis. The results of this study areas follows. First, in basic color, there were significant differences in preferred hues and tones by age groups. The preferred hues were N, PB in all ages, and the higher the age, the more people preferred vivid tones. Second, in basic color, there was significant difference in preferred hues of jumpers, one-pieces by distribution, and the preferred hue was found to be N in the items except jumpers. There were significant differences in preference tones of all items according to distribution. Third, in trend color, there was no significant difference in preferred hues by age groups. Preferred tones had significant differences by distribution, and the higher the age, the more people preferred vivid tones. Fourth, in trend color, some items had significant differences in preferred hues and tones by distribution. B was preferred in all age groups, and vivid tones were more preferred in wholesaler than the department store. Based on these results, this study proposed 30s~50s women's wear color planning idea that applied consumers' preferred color according to ages and items by distribution.

        It is known that bones get damaged by accidents and aging. Since the discovery of Bioglass, various kinds of ceramics have been also found to bond to living bone; some of these ceramics are already being clinically used as bone-repairing materials. In the present study, antibacterial calcium silicate gel (Ag-30CaO·70SiO2 gel) was prepared by sol-gel method in order to control the microstructure, which is related to the dissolution rate and induction period of apatite formation in body environment. In addition, biological Ag-30CaO·70SiO2 is tested. This was done to impart antimicrobial activity to the 30CaO·70SiO2. Ag ion was added during sol-gel synthesis to replace the H2O added during the making of the 30CaO·70SiO2 gel, which has silver solutions of various concentration. After the sol-gel process, 1N-HNO3 solution was used to wash the gel when synthesizing the gel, in order to maintain the porous structure and remove PEG, water soluble polymers. Then, the apatite forming ability of the sol-gel derived CaO-SiO2 gels was investigated using simulated body fluid (SBF), which had almost the same ion concentration as that of human blood plasma. The gels were analyzed by FT-IR spectroscopy, SEM observation, XRD, and fluorescent microscopy. The apatite was successfully created even after washing the gel; apatite is present in an amorphous state, and was found to affect the concentration of the Ag ion in cells in MC3T3 live & dead assay results. From these results, it is suggested that a good material that can be used to repair defects of nature bone is Ag-30CaO·70SiO2 gel.

        Solar chromospheric surges are often reported to contain rotational motion. However, the details of the motion and driving mechanism of the surges are not yet fully understood. Recurrent surges with rotational motion at AR 10930 on the west limb are observed by Hinode Solar Optical Telescope (SOT) continuously from 11:21 UT on December 18 to 09:58 UT on December 19, 2006, using the Ca II H broadband filter. We analyze details of the motion including number of turns from the rise of the surge to the fall, axial speed and acceleration. During the observation, rise and fall motion accompanying rotation appears recurrently. There occur a total of 14 surges at AR 10930 over 17 hours. The average duration is 45 minutes, and the average width, and length are 8 Mm, and 39 Mm, respectively. We speculate that the surges occurred by recurrent reconnections between the twisted prominence and large untwisted flux tube.

        A new type of women started to appear in Germany during 1920-1930s and unlike his previous work, Klee began to create works, which related to this new type of modern woman. This paper is a study of Klee’s image of New women in the 1920-1930s, and reflects on Klee’s professional achievements and his perception of these times, based on their social background, which was reflected on the shapes of the ‘New women’ that he portrayed. The labor power shortage that resulted in the aftermath of the First World War provided women with employment opportunities and they were therefore able to actively contribute to the economy. Klee recognized the fact that the female gender role that had been limited to being a wife and mother at home, changed drastically as women participated more in politics and social activities. This was illustrated by the diverse images and activities of contemporary women in the performing arts, and portrayed in magazines, newspapers, and film. The liberation of bodies was expressed through dance or gymnastics and the social atmosphere of the time promoted the performances of modern female dancers. Consequently, there was a significant increase in the number of new women who enjoyed dancing and this led to the production of a large number of dance studios and professional dancers. Klee’s images of dancing women shown in his works at the beginning of the 1920s were formed using mysterious and erotic shapes and vibrant lines. However, towards the end of the decade, expressionistic and dark black lines were more prevalent in his dance related works. Clearly repeating straight lines and curves produced geometric and pictorial structures, which expressed perfectly the dynamic motions of dancing women. The 1920s in particular can be said to have been an innovative period of expressionistic dances, and dancers expressed the inner world of human emotions through free movements. The leaping dancers produced by Klee could also be connected to the gymnastics performed at the Bauhaus. At that time, gymnastics was seen as a link between pop culture and the practice of high class art. Overwhelmingly, many participants in gymnastics were women who embraced pop culture and saw themselves as being popular modern women. During the late 1920s, Klee focused on jumping and shifting shapes while concentrating on the creation of geometric abstraction, which meant that the geometrically simplified shapes lost their concreteness and comprised of crosses of planes. Therefore, the gymnastic rhythms that appeared in Klee’s works emphasized movements based on the geometric body shapes, which were connected to an observance of the participants in physical activities.

        In this study, we evaluated the chemical and physical properties of structural steel, which is the most basic material for steel structures and reinforcement concrete structures in modern period. We theorized the technical data for the research of technical history of modern heritage structures by analyzing the product system and its quality control of structural steel used in modern historical heritages. The results of this study are as follow; first, the rounded bars were used in most of modern heritage structures. But in the case of Waegwan railroad bridge, the deformed bars were used in spit of not using in Japan after the great earthquake of Kantou. Second, the structural steel was good in terms of quality control, but It has brittle properties because it was not manufactured by heat treatment process.

        Early 20th century Singapore was faced with the problem of overcrowding. The attendant problems of a rapid increase in population density, namely the lack of proper housing and sanitation, resulted in the issue of an appropriate residential environment emerging as an important task in urban planning. It was necessary to construct housing estates in order to solve this issue. At that time, the British colonial government attempted to transplant modern technology into the construction process of a residential complex system. However, Singapore’s climate and traditional lifestyle made it impossible to apply the British modern system in a straightforward manner, and in the process, a number of transformations emerged. With a specific focus on the Tiong Bahru estate, one of Singapore’s representative public housing projects, from the 1930s through the 1950s, this study intends to look at the way in which such residential estates were assimilated into local surroundings, and the effect of the transplantation of British concepts of modern housing theory. Therefore, the study is divided into an examination of the estate both before and after the turning point of World War II. This study confirms that the difference between the pre-war and post-war planning strategies for the Tiong Bahru estate were made according to the concept of ‘open space.’

        In insect exoskeleton/cuticle, structural cuticular proteins (CPs) and the polysaccharide chitin are the major components of the procuticle. CPs are cross-linked by quinones or quinone methides produced by the laccase2 (Lac2)- mediated oxidation of N-acylcatechols. We reported that two major CPs, TcCPR27 and TcCPR18, belong to the CPR family that contain the RR-2 consensus motif (Rebers & Riddiford), are essential for formation and stabilization of the rigid cuticle of Tribolium castaneum adults. In this study, we characterized and investigated functions of the third most abundant protein, TcCP30, in extracts of elytra. TcCP30 cDNA encodes a protein with 171 amino acid residues containing a putative signal peptide. Unlike TcCPR27 and TcCPR18, TcCP30 mature protein lacks an RR motif, with a very unique amino composition, 36% Glu, 21% His, 20% Arg and 16% Gly. TcCP30 gene is highly expressed right before and after eclosion (in 5 d-old pupae and 0 d-old adults). Immunohistochemical studies revealed that TcCP30 protein was present in rigid cuticle such as elytra and ventral abdomen but not soft cuticle such as hindwings and dorsal abdomen of adult T. castaneum. Injection of dsRNA for TcCP30 into late instar larvae had no affect on larval and pupal growth and development. However, the subsequent pupal-adult molt, more than 50% adults were unable to shed their exuvium and died entrapped in their pupal cuticle. In addition, the resulting adults exhibited wrinkled, warped and split elytra. TcCP30-deficient adults could not fold their hindwings properly because probably due to the malformed elytra. These results indicate that TcCP30 is critical for formation of rigid adult cuticle as well as development and growth of T. castaneum.

        장기간 숙성시킨 된장의 품질 특성을 평가하기 위하여 25년 및 30년간 숙성시킨 된장을 150일(대조구)과 2년간 숙성시킨 된장을 비교하여 품질특성 및 항산화 활성을 시험하였다. 150일간 숙성시킨 된장을 대조구로 하여 분석한 결과 수분 함량은 숙성 기간이 증가함에 따라 점차 감소하였으며, 회분 함량은 숙성기간의 경과에 따라 유의적으로 증가하였다. 조단백질 함량은 30년간 숙성시킨 된장에서 유의적으로 높게 나타났다. 된장의 명도는 대조구에서 가장 높았고 숙성 기간이 경과함에 따라 점차 감소되었으며 황색도와 적색도는 25년 및 30년간 숙성시킨 된장에서 유의적으로 높았다. 된장 중 무기물의 총 함량은 대조구가 3125.10 mg/100 g으로 가장 낮았으며, 30년간 숙성시킨 된장이 6451.95 mg/100 g으로 가장 많았다. 구성아미노산의 총 함량은 3848.34~4382.06 mg/100 g의 범위였다. 총 유리아미노산의 함량은 대조구에서 가장 높았으며, 다음으로 30년, 25년 및 2년간 숙성시킨 된장의 순이었다. 기능성 생리활성 물질인 γ-amino-butyric acid (GABA)의 함량은 장기간 숙성시킬수록 그 함량이 증가하여 30년간 숙성시킨 된장에서는 무려 30.57 mg/100 g으로 검출되어 대조구(0.41 mg/100 g)보다 약 74.6배나 증가하였다. 유기산의 분석 결과 oxalic acid의 함량이 약 82.59~217.06 mg/g으로 가장 많았으며 lactic acid와 acetic acid의 함량은 숙성 기간에 따른 변화는 나타나지 않았으며, maleic acid와 succinic acid는 모든 시료에서 검출되지 않았다. 이소플라본의 함량은 daidzein과 genistein이 숙성 기간이 길어짐에 따라 그 함량은 감소하였으며, glycitin 및 malonyldaidzin의 함량은 숙성시킬수록 증가하였다. DPPH, ABTS 라디칼 소거활성 및 FRAP에 의한 환원력에 의한 된장의 항산화 활성은 숙성 기간에 따라 대차를 보이지 않았으며, 150일간 숙성시킨 된장과 유사한 활성을 보였다. 따라서 25년 및 30년간 숙성시킨 된장을 150일, 2년간 숙성시킨 된장과 비교할 때 품질면에서 손색이 없었으며 식품에 적합한 것으로 평가되었으며, 장기간 숙성시킨 된장의 연구와 개발이 계속해서 이루어진다면 한 단계 더 높은 기능성 전통 발효식품으로 이용될 수 있을 것이라 생각된다.
