물리탐사와 시추자료에 대해 지구통계학적 복합해석 기술을 적용하여 3차원의 암반등급 해석을 수행하였다. 자료 복합 해석을 위한 다양한 지구통계학적 기술 중에서, 본 연구에서는 물리탐사 자료의 값을 추정하고자 하는 지점의 암반등급의 평균치로 치환하는 국소 변이 평균에 의한 단순 크리깅 기술(Simple Kriging with local varying means)을 사용하였다. 암석의 전기비저항 값은 RMR(Rock Mass Rating)값과 양의 상관관계를 갖는 것으로 알려져 있으나 상관 관계 만에 의한 대응방식은 그 양상이 매우 복잡하고 공간적으로 연관되어 있는 경우가 많아 단순히 적용하기 어려운 경우가 많다. 본 연구에서는 전기비저항과 RMR의 일반적 선형 상관관계 외에 지시자 변환(indicator transform)에 의한 비선형 상관관계를 유도하는 방식을 제안하였다. 또한 본 연구에서는 선형 및 비선형 상관관계에 의해 대응된 비저항 값이 실제 RMR과 비교할 때 나타나는 잔차(residual)에 대해 3차원 지구통계학적 분석을 적용하여 이 결과를 상관관계 결과에 추가함으로써 공간적 특성을 반영하는 RMR 평가를 수행할 수 있었다. 사용된 물리탐사 자료는 전기비저항 및 MT(Magnetotelluric) 탐사 자료이며, 총 10공의 시추자료를 통해 획득한 암반등급 값을 이용하였다. 이와 같은 해석은 조사 대상에 대한 광역적 지질조건을 보다 현실적으로 반영하는 암반등급 분포를 만들어내는 것으로 보인다.

Euclidean Voronoi diagram of spheres in 3D has not been explored as much as it deserves even though it has significant potential impacts on diverse applications in both science and engineering. In addition, studies on the data structure for its topology have not been reported yet. Presented in this paper is the topological representation for Euclidean Voronoi diagram of spheres which is represented as a cell structure as one of typical non-manifold models. The topological representation is a variation of radial edge data structure with a consideration on the topological characteristics of Euclidean Voronoi diagram of spheres distinguished from general non-manifold models and Euclidean Voronoi diagram of points. Various topological queries in the Voronoi diagram are also presented and analyzed.

It is known that Voronoi diagrams have many important applications in science and engineering as a useful tool for analyzing spatial properties among geometric objects. In this paper, we propose an algorithm to construct Euclidean Voronoi diagram for spheres in 3-dimensional space. Starting from the ordinary Voronoi diagram of centers of spheres, the proposed region-expansion algorithm constructs the desired diagram by expanding Voronoi regions for one sphere after another via a series of topology operations. While the worst-case time complexity is O(n3 log n) for the whole diagram, its expected time complexity can be much smaller.

방사선물질을 수송하기 위한 용기는 가상 사고조건에서도 안전해야만 한다. 운반용기 설계요구조건은 실험 및 유한요소 해석을 통해 구조적 건전성을 확보하여야 한다. 최근에는 실험보다 유한요소해석을 이용한 방법이 상대적으로 비용이 적기 때문에 주로 사용된다. 그러나 기계적인 반응이 복잡하기 때문에 프로그램을 적용하는 사용자의 방법에 의해 결과가 결정되고 해석하는 동안 여러가지 문제를 발생시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서, 유한요소해석은 LS-DYNA3D와 ABAQUS/Explicit을 이용하여 운반용기의 9m 자유낙하충격실험에 대한 해석기술과 여러가지 손상을 갖는 경우를 발견하기 위해 연구하였다. 운반용기의 각각의 경우를 비교하고 사용후 핵연료 운반용기의 낙하 실험에 대해서 신뢰할 수 있는 비교적 간단한 해석 기술을 제안하였다.

We present a set of high-resolution 3D MHD simulations exploring the evolution of light, supersonic jets in cluster environments. We model sets of high- and low-Mach jets entering both uniform surroundings and King-type atmospheres and propagating distances more than 100 times the initial jet radius. Through complimentary analyses of synthetic observations and energy flow, we explore the detailed interactions between these jets and their environments. We find that jet cocoon morphology is strongly influenced by the structure of the ambient medium. Jets moving into uniform atmospheres have more pronounced backflow than their non-uniform counterparts, and this difference is clearly reflected by morphological differences in the synthetic observations. Additionally, synthetic observations illustrate differences in the appearances of terminal hotspots and the x-ray and radio correlations between the high- and low-Mach runs. Exploration of energy flow in these systems illustrates the general conversion of kinetic to thermal and magnetic energy in all of our simulations. Specifically, we examine conversion of energy type and the spatial transport of energy to the ambient medium. Determination of the evolution of the energy distribution in these objects will enhance our understanding of the role of AGN feedback in cluster environments.

This development has tried to scheme out the convenience for users to use the 3D modeling solution which is developed from the existing programs. The extended 3D modeling solution, to be developed through the use of the API which is provided and Microsoft Access, database is able to reuse the parts, subassemblies of parts, and assemblies. A methodology exhibits the possibility to use a Spinfire Professional Spinfire Reader program. The web evaluation system, which is used to connected with the Internet explorer and to construct a web service, will repeat the evaluations of the company staffs and customers about the new products which the company have designed. The furniture manufacturing company will adopt the 3D modelling solution in modelling the new products and go through the web evaluation system to collect dissatisfied facts of the customers or the company staffs against the new product. Finally, it will contribute to the enormous benefit creation of the enterprise.

The vertical impact crusher is the machine which could produce artifical sand similar to natural aggregates in the site of guarry and pits. FEM was used to analyse the stress and strength of the machine at high rotational speed. The test specimen was made from the same material as the shaft and tension tests were conducted. The Shaft under extreme conditions was analysed to determine maximum stress level and its location from the results. The maximum level of stress and its location could be predicted.

가구 제품 설계 및 디자인의 과정이 고도로 높은 기술력을 바탕으로 이루어지고 있으며, 국내의 가구 기업체도 우수한 기술력과 높은 품질로 경쟁력을 키우며 다양한 고객의 요구에 대응하여 고객만족을 꾀하여야 한다. 이의 기반이 되는 제품의 품질과 사양은 설계에서 시작되는데 아직 국내의 많은 가구기업들은 설계 및 제작 단계에서 많은 시간과 비용을 낭비하고 있다. 3D Modeling Solution은 설계오류가 적으며 시각적인 설계를 할 수 있어 최소의 인력으로 제품을 설계할 수 있는 장점이 있지만 너무 많은 기능으로 인해 사용자가 쉽게 적용하고 사용하기 어려운 단점을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 Autodesk사의 Inventor와 Microsoft Visual Basic으로 Inventor에서 제공하고 있는 API함수를 이용하여 조립자동화를 위한 조립조건 생성, 조립자동화, 부품 재질변경, 수동조립 그리고 부품의 DB화를 구현하고 Add-ln 기능과 미리보기 기능을 구현하였다. 그리고 Actify사의 SpinFire Professional 프로그램을 이용해서 웹에서 모델링된 가구 부품이나 제품을 볼 수 있게 하였다.
