        Recently, an international issue due to the discharge of contaminated water from the Fukushima has been highlighted. Since the Fukushima nuclear power plant accident in japan, marine environmental radioactivity survey has been strengthened with increased sampling frequency and range for seawater in territorial waters. And a stationary underwater radiation monitoring system including floating equipment-based system such as oceanographic buoys, tidal stations have been deployed on-site to detect abnormal radiological events. However, stationary monitoring systems may be insufficient for the early detection of abnormal radioactivity over a wide area, since it is a passive way of waiting for radioactive materials to spread in the ocean. So, our team developed a ship-mounted seawater gammaray monitoring system that can be operated remotely and in real time. In this study, it includes a detailed description of the design, installation, monitoring method, and operation of the system.

        It is important to ensure worker’s safety from radiation hazard in decommissioning site. Real-time tracking of worker’s location is one of the factors necessary to detect radiation hazard in advance. In this study, the integrated algorithm for worker tracking has been developed to ensure the safety of workers. There are three essential techniques needed to track worker’s location, which are object detection, object tracking, and estimating location (stereo vision). Above all, object detection performance is most important factor in this study because the performance of tracking and estimating location is depended on worker detection level. YOLO (You Only Look Once version 5) model capable of real-time object detection was applied for worker detection. Among the various YOLO models, a model specialized for person detection was considered to maximize performance. This model showed good performance for distinguishing and detecting workers in various occlusion situations that are difficult to detect correctly. Deep SORT (Simple Online and Realtime Tracking) algorithm which uses deep learning technique has been considered for object tracking. Deep SORT is an algorithm that supplements the existing SORT method by utilizing the appearance information based on deep learning. It showed good tracking performance in the various occlusion situations. The last step is to estimate worker’s location (x-y-z coordinates). The stereo vision technique has been considered to estimate location. It predicts xyz location using two images obtained from stereo camera like human eyes. Two images are obtained from stereo camera and these images are rectified based on camera calibration information in the integrated algorithm. And then workers are detected from the two rectified images and the Deep SORT tracks workers based on worker’s position and appearance between previous frames and current frames. Two points of workers having same ID in two rectified images give xzy information by calculating depth estimation of stereo vision. The integrated algorithm developed in this study showed sufficient possibility to track workers in real time. It also showed fast speed to enable real-time application, showing about 0.08 sec per two frames to detect workers on a laptop with high-performance GPU (RTX 3080 laptop version). Therefore, it is expected that this algorithm can be sufficiently used to track workers in real decommissioning site by performing additional parameter optimization.

        HIC refers to a radwaste packaging container that can maintain integrity for more than 300 years in the general underground environment and disposal conditions in Korea. For HIC, the integrity of containers is verified according to the HIC regulation guideline for LLW and ILW disposal. Existing material tests include mechanical stability, permeability resistance, corrosion properties, chemical durability and biological resistance. In this study, a chemical durability test was conducted to prove the suitability of the HIC material by measuring the degree of chemical influence other than corrosion from the disposal environment. The chemical resistance evaluation method was used to simulate the disposal environment in the underground repository, and the amount of change in the physical properties of the degraded polymer concrete specimens according to the test time was confirmed. The technical standards considered leaching of material components, sulfation attack, acid attack, alkali, carbonate, and salt crystallization. The compressive strength and weight change of the specimens with time were checked by immersing them in a chemical solution that could leak major hazardous substances and wastes in the groundwater of the repository for several months. In addition, in order to evaluate the integrity in condition severe than the disposal environment, a flow was applied to a chemical solution having a concentration twice that of the basic chemical resistance test conditions, and the test period was extended twice to accelerate the deterioration of the specimen.

        The radioactive waste repository consists of an engineered barrier and a natural barrier and must be managed safely after isolation. We classify the geological events of natural barriers for the evaluation of their present and future disposal stability assessment, they can be divided into regional and regional evolutions according to their scale. Regional evolution can be quantitatively explained by plate tectonics and regional rock distribution, and local evolution can be explained by petrological, mineralogical evidence and ductile, brittle deformation. Plate tectonics can explain the change quantitatively by restoring the direction of the Earth’s magnetic field recorded when rocks were formed. The time units for these changes are tens of millions of years to hundreds of millions of years, but plate tectonic is a way to estimate geological history. It can be assessed by extrapolating past knowledge considering the known geological events of radioactive waste repository. It is possible to derive a conservative value of the change of the geological environment in the time unit of disposal stability. The Korean Peninsula belongs to the edge of the Eurasian plate and is divided into Gyeonggi, Yeongnam Massif, Okcheon orogeny belt, and Gyeongsang Basin. To quantitatively determine their geological history, we collected paleomagnetic data using rocks from the Korea Peninsula (paleomagnetic database and papers). We attempted to carry out the apparent polar wander paths (APWPs) on the Korean Peninsula by collecting and sorting data. Since the Korean Peninsula is composed of multiple massifs, this APWP is expected to serve as a basis for explaining the local crustal rotation or brittle ductile deformation. Furthermore, by extrapolating the change pattern from the past to the present, it can contribute to the estimation of the future geological evolution.

        In order to enhance the transparency of nuclear power, the investigation of nuclear activities is important at the right time. And investigation of North Korea, one of safety measures for such a surveillance system seems essential in the near future. However, the inspection period is limited and the possibility of revisiting is unclear, so it seems easy to install and more reliable monitoring devices are needed. The seal is a security device for monitoring forgery and alteration in the IAEA easily but simple. Since the existing seal devices used by IAEA and KINAC can only be checked through onsite inspections whether it is damaged or not, there is a limit to immediate response in the event of an emergency such as the theft of nuclear materials and loss of Continuity of Knowledge. While the North Korea-U.S. talks and inter-Korean talks are slowly approaching the North Korea’s nuclear issue, it is judged that the inspection of North Korea’s nuclear weapons is not in the distant future. Accordingly, it is necessary to develop a customized seal device for managing and monitoring spent nuclear fuel that can be used for inspection of North Korea. The real-time active seal device consists of a seal equipped with a detection sensor, a translator, and a server, and the translator use wireless communication in consideration of ease of installation and management, respectively. The translator and server use wired communication for data sustainability. The seal device is designed to maintain continuity of knowledge (COK) through wireless communication in consideration of security even in the event of equipment damage, malfunction, and loss of power, while enabling location detection in case of theft or abnormality. Therefore, in this study, a technical investigation on remote data communication was conducted accordingly, and a data communication module for a small amount of broadband data communication was manufactured and applied. In addition, several tests were conducted to determine data integrity and location accuracy according to the communication range.

        본 연구의 목적은 결혼이민자 대상 한국어 온라인 수업 현황을 살펴보고 학습자들의 수업 만족도와 인식을 조사하여 앞 으로 교육 방안을 모색하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 2년 동안 진행 된 다문화센터 한국어 수업을 조사하고, 학습자를 대상으로 1차 만족도 조사, 2차 면담 조사를 하며 수업 형태 변화에 대한 의견 을 모색하였다. 그 결과 학습자들의 매체 활용 능력은 우수하였고 온라인 수업 만족도도 높았다. 온라인 수업은 육아와 가정생활을 함께 할 수 있다는 것을 장점으로 꼽았다. 단점은 집중력 저하, 의사소통 부족 등이라고 하였다. 온라인과 대면 수업을 병행한다 면 온라인 수업은 ‘토픽, 귀화, 쓰기’ 등 이해 중심 수업, ‘회화, 발음, 문화 특강’ 등은 교실 대면 수업으로 진행하는 것이 효과적일 것이다.본 연구를 통해 결혼이민자의 한국어 온라인 수업 방향에 대한 논의가 이루어지기를 기대한다.

        In this paper, among the W-S-R relationship methods proposed by Lee, et. al., (2020) to produce rain-based rain information in real time, we tried to produce actual rain information by applying machine learning techniques to take into account the effects of wiper operation. To this end, rain sensor proposed the Graded Descent and Threshold Map method for pre-processing the cumulative value of the difference before and after wiper operation by utilizing four sensitive channels for optical sensors developed by Kim Byung-sik (2016) and using rain sensor data produced by five rain conditions in indoor artificial rainfall experiments. This method is the method of producing rainfall information by calculating the average value of the Threshold according to the rainfall conditions and channels, creating a Threshold Map corresponding to the grid 4 (channel) x 5 (thinking of rainfall information) and applying Optima Rainfall Intensity among the big data processing techniques. For the verification of these proposed findings, the application was evaluated by comparing the rainfall observations with the methods presented by Lee, et. al., (2020).

        This study analyzes structural landscape changes over a time-series for a small and medium-sized city, Gangneung-Si, based on area and distribution patterns, and according to the type of land cover. Among the types of land cover, the area ratio of urbanized areas increased by 2.02% in the late 2010s as compared to the late 1980s, while there was a decrease of 2.69% in farmland and 0.69% in grassland areas. On analyzing the changes in land cover use by applying the Fragstats program, it was confirmed that landscape changes in urban and management areas were relatively severe according to the Landscape Shape Index, Largest Patch Index, and Aggregation Index. A pattern of concentrated expansion was also found around certain areas. In particular, from the analysis, it was established that the proportion of urbanized area had considerably increased and that the extent of farmland damage to management areas, including planned management areas, was large. Additionally, the Total Core Area generally indicated a reduction in the core areas of farmland and forest within urban and management areas. A medium-sized city showed significant changes besides large cities in terms of landscape structure. The developmental pressure on management areas, in particular, was quite high.

        학교현장실습의 가치와 중요성에도 불구하고, 몇십 년째 계속 똑같은 프로그램으로 운영되는 등 여러 문제점들이 지속적으로 제기되어 왔다. 따라서 학교현장실습이 초등 예비교사들의 초등교사 전문성을 신장하고, 현장에서 교사로서의 효과적인 직무수행을 위한 실질적인 과정이 될 수 있도록 학교현장실습 제도를 개선할 필요성이 있다. 이에 Hargreaves & Fullan(2012)이 교사 전문성 신장의 원동력으로 제시하고 있는 전문적 자본의 관점으로 초등학교 초임교사들이 바라본 학교현장실습과 학교 현장의 초등교사 전문성과의 연 계성을 분석하고, 이러한 관점에서 초등교사 전문성을 신장시키기 위한 학교현장실습 제도 개선방안을 모색하는 데 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 교원양성기관인 K대학교의 학교현장실습 프로그램을 이수하고, 졸업한 초등학교 초임교사 6명을 연구 참여자로 선정하였으며, 심층 면담의 방법으로 진행하였다. K대학교 출신 초등학교 초임교사들의 학교현장실습 경험을 심층 면담으로 연구한 바, 인적 자본과 사회적 자본은 상당 부분 익힐 수 있는 기회가 주어졌으나, 상대적으로 의사결정적 자본은 경험할 수 있는 기회가 부족하였다. 이러한 학교현장실습 경험을 바탕으로 학교현장실습 제도 개선 방안 다섯 가지를 제시하였다.

        초, 고등학생들이 작성한 대몽항쟁 서사는 유사하지만 세부내용에서 차이가 있다는 점에 착안하여 세부내용의 차이를 만드는 시간개념을 언어적으로 어떻게 표현하는지를 살펴보았다. 초등학생과 고등학생이 주로 사용하는 시간개념 유형이 달랐다. 구체적으로 보면, 초등학생과 고등학생 모두 시간 단계화하기를 많이 활용하였다. 학생들은 대몽항쟁의 시작, 과정, 결과를 순서대로 서술하였다. 초등학생은 전쟁의 패배로 서술을 끝냈지만 고등학생들은 전쟁이 끝난 이후 공민왕과 권문세족의 등장으로 시간을 이어나갔다. 시간 설정하기에 서 학생들은 일반적 시간표현과 대강의 시간표현으로 시간을 설정하였다. 초등학생이 일반적 시간 표현을 주로 사용했다면 고등학생들은 세기까지 고려한 대강의 시간범주까지 사용하였고 시간의 범위를 오늘날까지로 확장하였다. 시간 분할하기는 초, 고등학생간 차이가 많이 나타났다. 원간섭기, 대몽항쟁기와 같은 시간을 포함한 역사용어가 고등학생에게 주로 나타났다. 시간을 통해 조직 하기는 초, 고등학생 모두 ‘이후’라는 언어장치를 사용하여 앞 사건과 뒤 사건을 순서대로 연결하려고 하였다. 고등학생은 순서를 제시하는 언어장치를 활용하여 앞으로 다룰 내용을 전체적으로 개괄한 후 순서에 따라 내용을 제시하였다. 시간을 표현하는 장치이면서도 텍스트 구조 표지어 역할도 하였다. 초, 고등학생이 활용한 시간개념을 볼 때, 역사의 시간이 단절된 것으로 파악하는 초등학생에게 역사의 계속성과 함께, 시간을 포함한 역사용어와 같이 특수한 역사용어를 가르쳐야 한다는 점을 알 수 있다. 예컨대, 일반적 시간표현보다 대강의 시간표현을, 대몽항쟁과 같은 특수한 역사용어를 익혀나가는 과정을 경험하게 하는 것이다. 이는 일상언어가 역사언어로 전환하는 과정이다.

        We used seawater temperature data, measured in the Garolim Bay, to analyze temperature variation on an hourly and daily basis. Lagrange’s interpolation using before and after data was applied to restore nonconsecutive missing temperature data. The estimated error of the data restoration was 0.11oC. Spectral analyses of seawater temperature showed significant periodicities of approximately 12.4 h (semidiurnal tide) and 15.0 d (long-period tide), which is close to those of M2 and Mf partial tides. Variation in seawater temperature was correlated more with tidal height than with air temperature around the Garolim Bay. In June and December, when the seawater temperature difference between the inside and outside of the Garolim Bay was very large, the periodicities of 12.4 h and 15.0 d were highly prominent. These results indicate that the exchange of seawater between the inside and outside of the Garolim Bay induced variations in seawater temperature owing to tide. Understanding temperature variation because of tide helps to prevent abnormal mortality of cultured fish and to predict seawater temperature in the Garolim Bay.

        Concern about water quality and pollution was heightened as contaminants flowed into the Namhan River downstream of the Chungju Dam. Thus, this study calculated the Real-Time Water Quality Index (RTWQI) using monthly average water quality monitoring data for major tributaries that require water quality control, which were obtained between 2010 and 2019. To review the applicability of the RTWQI for water quality assessment in the major tributaries of the Namhan River, it was compared with the living environment standard river. The calculated RTWQI result indicated that Bokhacheon, with 59 points, was in the “fair” grade, and this stream was identified as a tributary that preferentially requires water quality improvement as it showed a decreasing (-) tendency of RTWQI. A comparison between RTWQI and the living environment standard of T-P showed that the categories of “completely coincident” and “different by one grade” accounted for 45% of the total, and the water quality of major tributaries was assessed as low. Therefore, the RTWQI, which applies comprehensive water quality parameters and has higher reliability than assessing a single water quality parameter, was determined to be efficient for water quality assessment of the major tributaries of the Namhan River.

        This study was undertaken to find out national level changes in area, production and yield of two major staple crops wheat and potato in Bangladesh. The time series of secondary data was collected from yearbook of agricultural statistics under Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) and used for the statistical analysis during the thirty-year period of 1989/90-2018/19. Moreover, selected data were divided into two groups and regarded as segment (1989/90-2003/04, 2005/06-2018/19) to examine the significant level in each crop. The results of different statistical techniques showed that wheat cultivated area and production were satisfactory level but yield was not too much standard in context of country demand. In the case of potato, yield as well as cultivated area and production were crossed the significant level and fulfilled the demand of population. In recent few years, the ratio of potato production rapidly increased, compared with the cultivation area. Based on segment (period) analysis, at the first half wheat production was always below, compared with the area but second half nine years saw slightly improved. On the other hand, in both segment potato growth rate in area, production and yield were increased throughout the study period. The highest instability was also shown in area, production and yield of potato during whole as well as segmented period. There was always a positive relationship between country’s demand and supply. Both wheat and potato are considered as staple crops and based on the productive capability over cultivated area, potato showed the higher productivity for the country of Bangladesh. In consequences, potato consuming demand also rapidly increased all over the country, compared with past respectively.

        This study was conducted to determine and to standardize the time of emergence of Protaetia brevitarsis adults, through four breeding experiments, including one which selected the dominant individuals of Protaetia brevitarsis. The breeding experiments were divided into two groups with hibernating and non-hibernating Protaetia brevitarsis by placing 100, 150, 200, 250 and 300 Protaetia brevitarsis in each breeding box (50 cm × 35 cm × 15 cm) filled with 12 L of fermented sawdust. Breeding tests were with four replicates each for 3 months. The test period was classified into four stages: Exp. 1 (Sep 1, 2019 to Nov 30, 2019), Exp. 2 (Dec 1, 2019 to Feb 29, 2020), Exp. 3 (Mar 1, 2019 to May 31, 2020) and Exp. 4 (Jun 1, 2020 to Aug 31, 2020). The survey items included average dead number, average emergence number, average mortality, and average emergence rate. In Exp. 1 and 2, the changes in Protaetia brevitarsis adults were similar. In Tables 1 and 2, the allegorical changes of adult white-spotted flowers were similar. In addition, the average dead number, average emergence number, average mortality, and average emergence rate showed better results in the hibernation state than in both Exp. 1 and 2. Exp. 3 and 4 showed a pattern of change different from the results of Exp. 1 and 2 and these characteristics were superior in the hibernation states compared to the non-hibernation states. In conclusion, this result was found to be most appropriate as a standardization of the emergence time of 200 Protaetia brevitarsis treatments through four breeding experiments in the hibernating state.
