        In this study, We evaluated the efficiency of the smart ventilation system being developed at the test-bed(KCL). Smart ventilation system improve the indoor air quality by absorbing carbon dioxide. It is reducing the infusion of outside air can be reduced to minimum energy consumption. To evaluate the energy savings and carbon dioxide removal efficiency. It was more effective when working with air conditioning and ventilation system at the same time.

        고로슬래그는 유동성 장기강도 및 내구성이 좋고 수화열을 낮아 경화체를 제조함에 따른 적용성이 우수하지만, 몇 가지 문제점을 갖는다. 시공시간이 증가하고 회전속도가 늦고 초기강도가 낮다. 본 연구에서는 알칼리활성화를 이용한 경화체 제조에 있어 필요한 알칼리 수용액을 해수담수화 과정에서 발생하는 농축수의 전기분해를 통하여 공급하였으며. 알칼리 수용액을 이용하여 고로슬래그와 경화체를 제작하였다. 결과는 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다 : 모르타르의 압축강도는 NaOH 2%이하일 때는 감소하고, 6% 이하까지는 증가한다. 그리고 NaOCl의 함량이 증가할수록 압축강도도 증가한다. 그러나 NaCl이 모르타르에 존재하면 초기강도보다 재령 28일차 강도는 감소하게 된다.

        본 연구에서는 이산화탄소 고정화에 있어 이산화탄소 전환을 위해 MEA를 이용한 습식화학흡 수법의 셔틀메카니즘을 도입하였다. 또한 알칼리 무기물질을 다량 함유한 산업부산물을 습식탄산화법을 이용해 처리하고자 하였다. 즉, 산업부산물의 화학적 처리를 통해 칼슘이온을 용출하였다. 산성물질을 이용한 용출상징수를 ICP로 분석한 결과, 칼슘이온이 최대 17,900 ppm(1.79%)을 확보하였다. 또한 MEA를 이용한 습식 흡수공정을 통해 상온, 상압조건의 이산화탄소 분위기에서 94%의 전환률을 얻었 다. 슬러지의 액상탄산화를 통해 슬러지 mg 당 0.175 mg의 이산화탄소를 고정하였으며, 최종생성물의 XRD 분석결과 일반적인 탄산칼슘의 결정구조인 calcite 형상을 확인하였다.

        This study was performed to obtain high conversion efficiency of C7H8 using non-thermal plasma and metal-supported catalyst. Adsorption-desorption characteristics of toluene was performed using 4A type (Zeolite) filled in a concentration reactor. Through this test, it was found that the concentration reactor has 0.020 g/g of adsorption capacity (at ambient temperature and pressure) and 3,600 ppm of desorption property at 150℃ (with in 20 min). In case of developed catalyst, toluene decomposition rate of Pd-AO (Pd coated catalyst) was better than Pd/Cu-AO and Pd/Ag-AO (Pd/Ag composite metal catalyst). Developed non-thermal plasma system was obtained flame amplification effect using injection process of desorbed tolune, and 98% of removal efficiency.

        It is important to develop the smart ventilation system in order to minimize a building energy consumption using ventilation. In this study, We evaluated the efficiency of the smart ventilation system being developed at the nursery. To evaluate the energy savings and carbon dioxide removal efficiency, two kinds of experimental conditions were compared. First, air conditioner and Smart HVAC system were operated. Second, air conditioner was operating and external air was put into the inside by rate of air circulation. It was more effective when working with air conditioning and ventilation system at the same time. If the Smart HVAC system is applied in a multi-use facility, indoor air quality will be comfortable and the social cost will be reduced.

        In order to minimize a building energy consumption with ventilation, a development of smart ventilation system is very important. In this study, a dry adsorbent that is main element of smart ventilation system was developed for removing indoor CO2, and evaluate the adsorption performance. Specific surface area, pore characteristic and crystal structure of the modified sorbent was measured to analyze physical properties. From this analysis, it was found that the developed absorbent has a low specific surface area, due to mesopores of substrate was filled with metal contained raw material. Additionally, through analysis of the adsorption properties, the developed adsorbent was shown a adsorption form of mesopore (type Ⅳ), which means adsorption amount was rapidly increased at the part of high-pressure. Order to applying for the field, chamber test was performed. Continuous column tests (2,500 ppm) and batch chamber tests (4 m3, 5,000 ppm) showed CO2 removal efficiency of 95% and 88% within 1 hour, respectively.

        This study was performed to obtain high conversion efficiency of NH3 and minimize generation of nitrogen oxides using metal-supported catalyst with Ag : Cu ratio. Through structural analysis of the prepared catalyst with Ag : Cu ratio ((10-x)Ag–xCu (0≤ x ≤6)), it was confirmed that the specific surface area was decrease with increasing metal content. A prepared catalysts showed Type Ⅱ adsorption isotherms regardless of the ratio Ag : Cu of metal content, and crystalline phase of Ag2O, CuO and CuAl2O was observed by XRD analysis. In the low temperature(150∼200 ℃), a conversion efficiency of AC_10 recorded the highest(98%), whereas AC_5 (Ag : Cu = 5 : 5) also showed good conversion efficiency(93.8%). However, in the high temperature range, the amounts of by-products(NO, NO2) formed with AC_5 was lower than that of AC_10. From these results, It is concluded that AC_5 is more environmentally and economically suitable.

        In this study, a liquid carbonation method was applied for producing precipitate calcium carbonate by liquid-liquid reaction. We recycled the recycling water of ready-mixed concrete, one of construction waste for use source of carbonate ion. A supernatant separated from the recycling water of ready-mixed concrete, as a result of ICP analysis of a cation, Ca²+ was contained up to 1100 ppm. We used MEA as a CO₂ absorbent for the liquid carbonation. A precipitate CaCO₃ was produced at more than MEA 20 wt%. The precipitate CaCO₃ as a final product was separated and dried. The result of XRD was confirmed the generation of CaCO₃ to calcite structure.

        In this study, CO₂ adsorbent was produced for minimizing energy loss due to ventilation within the building. For improved selectivity about low concentration of CO₂ in multiple-use facilities, the ball type adsorbent was modified from a commercial zeolite, alumina, alkali metals and activated carbon with mixing LiOH, binder, and H₂O. We measured specific surface area, pore characteristic, and crystal structure of the modified adsorbent. Effects of alkalization on the absorptive properties of the adsorbents were investigated. Continuous column tests (2,000 ppm) and batch chamber tests (4m3, 5,000ppm) showed that the modified adsorbent indicated about the selectivity of CO₂ more than 9.7% (0.613 mmol/g) compared with ordinary adsorbents and CO₂ removal efficiency of 88.8% within l hour, respectively. It was estimated that the modified adsorbent was applicable to indoor environments.

        In order to improve the selective oxidation reaction of gaseous ammonia at a low temperature, various types of metal-impregnated activated alumina were prepared, and also physical and chemical properties of the conversion of ammonia were determined. Both types of metal (Cu, Ag) impregnated activated alumina show high conversion rate of ammonia at high temperature (over 300℃). However, at lower temperature (200 ℃), Ag-impregnated catalyst shows the highest conversion rate (93%). In addition, the effects of lattice oxygen of the developed catalyst was studied. Ce-impregnated catalyst showed higher conversion rate than commercial alumina, but also showed lower conversion rate than Ag-impregnated sample. Moreover, 5 vol.% of Ag activation under hydrogen shows the highest conversion rate result. Finally, through high conversion at low temperature, it was considered that the production of NO and NO2, toxic by-products, were effectively inhibited.

        본 연구는 1차 아민(MEA, monoethanolamine)으로 개질한 입자상 활성탄(WSC-470)을 이용하여 실내 저농도 이산화탄소를 제거하고자 하였다. MEA 함침농도(6.1~42.7 wt.%)와 용매제(distillate water, ethanol, methanol) 종류에 따라 제조된 흡착제의 특성분석(BET, pore property, XPS)과 각 흡착제의 CO2가스에 대한 최대 흡착능, 3000 ppm의 저농도 CO2분위기에서의 흡착량을 측정하였다. MEA 농도가 증가할수록 물리적 특성인 비표면적, 공극률, 미세기공률 등은 감소한 반면, 표면 염기도 향상에 기여하는 질소 함량은 증가하였다. 이러한 물성변화로 인해 최대 흡착능은 초기 활성탄(RAC: 3.27 mmol/g) 대비 최대 71%(AC-MM(42.7, 40): 0.937 mmol/g)가 감소한 반면, 저농도 이산화탄소에 대한 선택적 흡착량은 45%(AC-MM(15.3, 40): 0.73 mmol/g)의 향상을 보였다.

        In order to enhance the selective adsorption of CO2, the surface of granular activated carbon (GAC) was modified by an ammonia solution. Ammonia in an aqueous phase could be decomposed into NH4+, OH- and other N-containing elements. The present work attempted to impregnate some basic functional groups leading to chemisorption of the activated carbon surface. While the addition of N-groups reduced the specific surface area from 2071.4 m2/g to about 1300-1400 m2/g, the adsorption capacity for CO2 increased to a certain degree, and the best amination could be achieved with the reaction at 100℃ for 12 hours. The enhanced adsorption capacity could be obtained by formation of nitrogen functionalities such as amine, pyrrolic groups and pyridine oxides which were verified by XPS analysis.

        In order to capture the indoor CO2 gas from public indoor spaces, a commercial zeolite(4A) was modified with alkali metals useful for adsorption. The prepared sorbents showed somewhat improved adsorption capacity. A few isotherm models were reviewed to characterize the adsorption mechanism of test sorbents. Sips model was found the most appropriate for low level indoor CO2 adsorption, but revealed a significant error in low pressure regimes and required numerical analysis for quantitative evaluation. Thus, a parameter(qm) in the equation was empirically recorrelated with a operation temperature. As a result, the final model equation including a simple linear function presented less errors for evaluation of the potential capacity of adsorption.

        국립공원 내 양서류 로드킬(Roadkill) 현황을 파악하기 위해 2006년부터 2008년까지 3년 동안 24개 노선을 대상으로 조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 총 2목 5과 9종 1,748개체가 차량에 의해 로드킬 된 것으로 나타났으며, 년차별 비교결과 2006년에 비해 2007년, 2008년에 로드킬이 감소한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 3월부터 6월 사이에 북방산개구리, 두꺼비, 물두꺼비가 집중적 피해를 입은 것으로 나타났으며 "산림-하천" 및 "산림-산림" 환경에서 교통사고가 집중 발생하였고, 덕유산국립공원 국도 37호선, 속리산국립공원 지방도 517호선, 오대산국립공원 국도 6호선, 월악산국립공원 지방도 597호선 등 총4개 노선에서 집중적으로 로드킬이 발생하였다. 따라서 이 지역의 주요 로드킬 대상종이 북방산개구리와 물두꺼비로 확인됨에 따라서 이들 종에 대한 저감대책 수립이 시급한 것으로 판단되었다.

        내장산국립공원에 자생하고 있는 굴거리나무 개체군의 분포와 식생구조를 분석하였다. 굴거리나무 개체군은 내장사지구의 금선계곡과 원적계곡, 백양사지구의 운문암 주변에서 분포하고 있으며, 그 면적은 각각 1.8km2, 0.6km2 이었다. 굴거리나무 개체군의 밀도는 금선계곡 전망대 주변이 가장 높았고, 금선계곡과 운문암 주변에서 비교적 높았다. 굴거리나무는 경사가 급한 전석지대에서 생육하고 있으며, 대팻집나무, 산딸나무, 작살나무와 생태적 적소가 유사한 것으로 생각된다. 식생구조분석 결과 내장산국립공원 산림의 아교목층과 관목층에서 굴거리나무의 우점도가 증가할 것으로 예상된다.

        설악산국립공원의 탐방객 수는 1990년부터 1997년까지 연평균 3%의 증가율을 보이고 있고 전체 탐방객 중 79%가 접근성이 용이하고 편의시설이 잘 갖추어진 외설악지구로 탐방하고 있었다. 외설악지구의 설악동매표소를 통과한 탐방객 중 정상을 향한 등반비율은 6~17%수준이었고 그 나머지는 가까운 거리의 울산바위나 비선대, 마등령 방향으로 등반하고 하산하는 것으로 나타났다. 오색매표소에서 대청봉으로의 등반객 수는 여름철보다 가을철에 더 많았다. 설악산국립공원에서의 탐방객의 통행패턴은 지역별, 계절별, 요일별로 차이가 있었다.
