        국내 중・소규모 지자체의 중・소규모 생활폐기물 소각시설은 에너지 이용을 할 수 없거나, 에너지 회수율이 낮게 활용되고 있다. 중・소규모 생활폐기물 소각시설의 폐열보일러에서는 품질이 낮은 스팀을 생산하므로 스팀터빈을 적용한 경우에는 발전효율이 매우 낮으며, 대부분 생산 스팀을 활용할 시설이 없는 실정이다. 이러한 미활용 되고 있는 중・소규모 지자체에 적합한 고효율발전이 가능하고 열풍 또는 온수 이용이 가능한 폐기물 가스화 발전시설을 보급 가능성을 검증하기 위해 생활폐기물이 1일 50톤 정도 발생하는 지자체에 공기사용 생활폐기물 가스화 가스엔진발전플랜트를 구축하여 성능검증을 수행하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 30톤/일급 상용규모 고정층 공기사용 가스화로에서 생산된 합성가스를 가스엔진 발전시스템에 의해 전력생산량과 50톤/일급 가스화용 생활폐기물 전처리시설 및 가스화발전 시설의 소내 사용전력을 고찰하였다. 반입기준의 생활폐기물 50톤/일급 전처리 및 30톤/일급 가스화 발전 시설의 판매 가능한 전력량을 운전결과를 통해 고찰하였다. 공기사용 고정층 가스화 Pilot 시스템을 이용한 연구에서는 가스엔진 발전이 가능한 합성가스 생산을 위해서는 폐기물의 저위발열량을 3,500 kcal/kg이상으로 전처리 해야 하는 설계조건으로 도출되었다. 본 연구에서 사용한 50톤/일급 전처리시설을 이용하여 파쇄, 선별 및 탈수를 진행하였고, 건조는 진행하지 않은 전처리된 생활폐기물을 공기사용 가스화를 통행 생산된 합성가스를 이용하여 가스엔진 발전시스템에서 생산한 전력량은 약 800 kWe 이상 생산 가능함을 확인하였다. 또한 전체 소내전력 사용량은 약 250 kWe으로 전력판매량은 약 550 kWe로 도출되었다. 폐기물 가스화 발전의 경우 가중치가 1.0이므로 3,960 REC/yr 확보가 가능한 것으로 산출되었다.

        This research performed the effects of the air ratio to produce the syngas from the fixed-bed gasifier for municipalsolid waste. At the inside of reactor, temperature depends on amount of the oxidant to classify four distinct process,combustion, reduction (gasification), pyrolysis and dry zone. As decreasing the air flow rate, the particulate matters hada tendency to decrease, proportionally. In this system, the producer gas needs the clean-up process over 98% efficiencyfor connecting the internal combustion engine to generate electric power. At the test 1 and 2, while the air ratio decreased,the LHV of syngas and CGE were increased. however, at the test 3, because the oxidizer had injected more less thandemanded, these showed a decreasing tendency.

        Buckwheat sprouts are a vegetable; a functional food should provide health benefit and enhance performance as high nutritionally important substances. Buckwheat noodles are the major buckwheat food in Japan, Korea and China. In addition, Buckwheat as preventive medicine has undergone a great advancement in the last decade. Comparison of the functional properties distribution and utilization in tatary buckwheat is required of understanding the metabolites. The study was conducted to identify the sorts of phenolic compounds and metabolites in tatary buckwheat seedling at 4, 7, and 10 days seedling under the different combinations of lightemitting diode (LED) such as blue, red, mix (red, blue, and white), dark, and natural lights in stem and leaves. After breaking the dormancy, buckwheat seeds were grown in culture room under lights for 14 hrs and the dark condition for 10 hrs, at 25ºC for 10 days. Length of buckwheat was gradually increased under all of the conditions. Using HPLC, rutin was highest at 7 days under mix and natural light in stem and leaf, respectively. Quercetin was highest at 4 and 7 days under natural light in both. Chlorogenic acid was highest at 7 days under mix and natural in stem and leaf, respectively. Taken Together, this study indicates that phenolic compounds and metabolites present in those plants could be helpful for the human health and nutritional additive.

        Peg-in-hole assembly is the most representative task for a robot to perform under contact conditions. Various strategies for accomplishing the peg-in-hole task with a robot exist, but the existing strategies are not sufficiently practical to be used for various assembly tasks in a human environment because they require additional sensors or exclusive tools. In this paper, the peg-in-hole assembly experiment is performed with anthropomorphic hand arm robot without extra sensors or devices using “intuitive peg-in-hole strategy”. From this work, the probability of applying the peg-in-hole strategy to a common assembly task is verified.

        The Codonopsis pilosula is traditional oriental herb associated with immune-modulatory functions and has anti-inflammatory properties and antioxidative activity. The present study was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary supplementation of Codonopsis pilosula extract powder (CEP) on the immunity and productivity in sows and piglets. A total of 20 pregnant sows were randomly assigned to two dietary treatments, which was given a corn-soybean meal diet with 0% and 0.5% CEP from 40 days prepartum to weaning (25 days postpartum). The immune system of piglets was expected to build up, because the feeding of CEP might increase the colostrum contents in sows. We also predicted that the growth performance of piglets also could be increased by some compensation effects due to the increased immunity of piglets. In results, immunities of sows and piglets as well as growth performance of piglets were not affected by the supplementation of CEP. The correlation between the colostrum and the serum on the IgG contents tended to have a positive correlation, although there was no significant (coefficient, 0.435; P=0.102). This result suggests that the supplementation of CEP may increase IgG contents in sows and piglets and contribute to improve immunity of piglets. In conclusion, it is thought that the physiologically active substances of CEP did not influence to the immune synergic effects in vivo of sows. Thus, the metabolic and action mechanism of the physiologically active substances of CEP should be explored to evaluate the availability of CEP as a feed additive for the immunomodulator.

        충북농업기술원 마늘연구소에서는 2000년부터 수집한 유전자원 중 한지형인 ‘단양종’ 보다 조숙다수성이며 불완전추대의 특성을 가진 계통을 5년 동안 지속 선발하여 ‘단산’ 품종을 육성하였다. ‘단산’ 마늘의 추대 특성은 불완전 추대형으로 ‘단양종’의 완전 추대형과 뚜렷한 구별성을 갖는다. 따라서 화경이 출현하지 않아 수확 전에 쫑을 뽑을 필요가 없으며 숙기도 6일 정도 빨라 수확기 때 장마를 피할 수 있는 장점을 갖고 있다. 2차 생장비율은 3.3%로 ‘단양종’이 17.3% 보다 매우 낮아 이차생장율이 적은 상품성 마늘을 생산할 수 있다. ‘단산’의 통의 크기는 ‘단양종’ 보다 크고, 쪽 껍질의 색은 갈색을 띠며 안토시아닌 줄무늬가 존재한다. 수량은 1,131 kg/10 a로 ‘단양종’ 보다 18% 정도 높다.

        숯은 제조 및 활용과정에서 연소를 통해 함유된 성분들을 방출한다. 연소는 숯의 화학조성뿐만 아니라 숯의 표면 물성변화를 초래하고 다른 성분을 흡착하기 쉬운 상태로 변형시키기도 한다. 본 연구에서는 국내에서 시판되는 4종 숯에 대하여 화학적, 열적안정성과 중금속 및 유기유해물질의 거동 연구를 수행하였다. 상온에서 400℃까지 열중량분석(TGA)과 시차주사열량계를 이용한 연소에 따른 중량변화와 관련된 물질거동 연구를 수행하였다. TGA 분석결과 대부분 시료에서 200℃ 이전 약 10% 중량이 감소하였으며, 200℃ 이전에 잔류유기물과 가스상 물질이 소실되는 것을 알려준다. 열분석에 의한 질량 감소는 천연숯과 인공숯에서 다르게 측정되었다. 천연숯 K1, C1 에서는 400℃까지의 가열 반응결과 약 15% 중량 감소가 있었으며, 인공숯 K2, C2의 경우 약 20%의 중량 감소가 있는 것으로 검출되었다. 가열에 의한 400℃ 이하 중량감소는 주요 유기물과 VOC의 소설에 기인하는 것으로 나타났다. 화학조성분석에 근거한 X-선 회절분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 첨가제인 Ba이 Ba(NO3)2 및 BaCO3 등의 형태로 NaNO3와 함께 숯에 다량 존재하는 것으로 분석되었다.

        This experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary supplementation of oriental herb extracts (Alpha PlusⓇ (AP)+Dried Foxglove Powder (DFP)) on growth performance and proliferation of splenocytes in broiler chicken raised under low or high density stocking conditions. A total of 240 male broiler chicks were randomly divided into four treatment groups with three replicates composed of ten birds in low density stocking groups and thirty birds in high density stocking groups. The four treatment groups were as follows: C1 (low density without AP and DFP); T1 (low density with AP 0.2% and DFP 0.03%); C2 (high density without AP and DFP); T2 (high density with AP 0.2% and DFP 0.03%). The feed intake of the high density stocking group was significantly lower than that of low density stocking groups during overall experimental period (p<0.05). The body weight of high density stocking groups was lower than that of low density stocking groups (p<0.05). The decrease of feed intake and body weight gain in growing stage (7~25day) under the high density stocking condition seems to be recovered in final stage (26~34day). Meanwhile dietary supplementation of AP+DFP in low and high density stocking groups tended to have higher daily body weight gain than control groups. The proliferation of splenocytes in treatment groups was significantly higher than control groups (p<0.05). In conclusion, the result of the present study suggested that the oriental herb extracts (AP+DFP) could be used as an alternative feed additive resources to improve growth performance and immune activity in broiler chickens.

        가상환경에서 다양한 객체 요소들이 휴먼 캐릭터와 서로 상호작용을 한다. 이것은 휴먼 모션 애니메이션에 영향을 준다. 기본모션데이터는 동적, 고정된 객체의 접촉 상태, 지면과의 관계에 따라 영향을 받는다. 모션이 적절히 수정되지 않으면 불규칙, 비합리적인 표현이 생성될수 있다. 본 논문은 모션 데이터 커브를 추적하고 적절히 장애물 객체의 속성을 포함하는 관절데이터를 추적한다. 상호작용의 결과에 적절히 응답하여 데이터를 수정한다. 본 논문은 애니메이션 시나리오상에서 상호작용하는 객체를 위한 동적 제어 메커니즘을 설계하는 기법을 제시한다. 특정한 규칙을 이용하여 의사 결정할 수 있는 지능형 에이젼트에 기반한 구조로 에이젼트 시스템을 제안한다.

        In this study, We developed an evaluation system for the interim check of Integrated Rural Village Development Project and analyzed its applicability to an actual evaluation process through a pilot evaluation on regions selected. The evaluation system consists of documentary assessments(30%) and field inspections(70%). The documentary assessments are quantitative assessments on check-lists reports by self-evaluation prepared by local governments. The field inspections are qualitative assessments by evaluation teams. Sixteen evaluation indices were developed for documentary assessments and seven criteria were designed for field inspections. For a pilot evaluation, one region in each province excluding Jeju Do, eight regions was selected and the field inspections due to circumstances was proceeded in two regions. The results of documentary assessments indicate that most of regions are evaluated low in project performance attributable to the delay in security for sites. In the field inspections, it appears that most of the regions evaluated high at the documentary assessments got a high point from them. They also show that coordination of action plans, rather than quantitative achievements, is a base determining success of the projects.

        In this study, the distribution characteristics of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) were investigated on the seasonal basis across spring, summer, and fall during the year of 1998. According to this analysis, most VOC species investigated exhibited strong temporal trends. Over diurnal scale, there distribution characteristics were affected by seasonal factors strongly. While they showed high day/night ratio pattern during spring, the pattern was reversed during fall. When the seasonal mean values were compared between the two seasons, the spring values were systematically higher than their counterparts in most cases. In addition when our VOC measurement data were compared with those reported from elsewhere, we were able to conclude that the VOC levels in the study area are comparable to the level weakly impacted by the regional emissions of VOCs. Although our data are not sufficient enough to systematically explain the atmospheric distribution and behavior of VOCs, the findings of strong correlations among some of VOC species suggests strong need for investigating their interactions in the earth's atmosphere.

        In this study, we investigated the site feasibility for the construction of the incineration facilities in Won Ju City. To assess the environmental impact of its construction, we examined the current status of air quality in the selected candidate sites and predicted the extent of air quality change upon its operation through modification of stack type. If the stack height is assumed to be 70 m, the concentrations of SO2 and dioxin in the surrounding area were predicted to increase by 0.05 ppb and 0.09 pg/㎥, respectively. The impact of its operation was assessed and compared among different sites. According to this analysis, more impact was expected from the residential area for the Dan-Gye site than from agricultural areas of the Kwan-Sul and Sa-Je site.
