        어류는 수체 내에 서식하기 때문에 시각적으로 행동이 나 이동을 연구하는 데에는 어려움이 있다. 원격측정방식 중 하나인 수중음향측정 방식(acoustic telemetry)은 수 생 생물 특히, 어류에 효과적으로 적용되는 방식으로 이 동경로 및 거리, 패턴의 분석에 효과적이다. 본 연구에서 는 국내에 서식하는 잉어과 어류인 눈불개를 대상으로 하 여 수중음향측정방식을 적용, 서식처범위(home range)와 이동패턴에 대한 모니터링을 시행하였다. 연구는 금강 하 구둑부터 백제보까지의 약 70 km 구간을 대상으로 총 9 개체의 눈불개를 하구둑(Sc1-3)과 백제보(Sc4-9)에서 각 각 방류하여 모니터링을 진행하였다. 하구둑에서 방류한 개체들은 방류지점으로부터 12.7 km 상류지점까지를 서 식처 범위로 하여 이동하는 패턴을 나타냈고, 백제보에서 방류한 개체들은 가장 하류까지 이동한 Sc6 (방류지점에 서 직선거리로 53.4 km 하류까지 이동)을 제외하고 대부 분 방류지점에서 7.2 km 하류 지역을 서식처 범위로 이용 하고 있었다. 상대적으로 크기가 작은 Sc7, 8, 9 개체는 큰 이동을 보이지 않았다. 눈불개의 총 이동거리는 개체의 체장의 크기와 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났고(rs=0.715, p=0.03), 또한 이동 개체와 이동하지 않은 개체 비교 시 이동 개체들의 체장이 통계적으로 유의하게 큰 것으로 확 인되었다(Mann-Whitney U test, p=0.024). 따라서 눈불 개의 이동 범위는 크기와 관련이 있고, 체장이 커질수록 총 이동거리가 늘어나는 것으로 나타났다. 비록 모니터링 개체수가 많지 않았지만 대상종의 이동과 관련된 의미 있 는 자료들의 수집이 가능하였으며, 연구방식이 전반적으 로 국내의 다양한 어류에 안정적으로 적용이 가능하기 때 문에 향후 어류의 이동을 모니터링을 하는데 있어서 활용 가치가 높을 것으로 판단되었다.

        수중음향측정 방식은 어류이동에 대한 연속적인 자료 를 확보하기 위해 사용되는 방식으로, 대형하천이나 하구 에서 이동하는 어류의 이동에 용이하게 활용된다. 낙동강 은 남한에서 가장 긴 하천으로 연속적인 보의 설치로 인 하여 하천의 변형이 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 국 내에 서식하는 잉어과 어류인 강준치를 대상으로 하여 수중음향측정방식을 적용, 서식처범위(home range)와 이 동거리, 이동패턴에 대한 모니터링을 시행하였다. 연구는 낙동강 하구둑부터 창녕함안보까지의 약 80 km 구간을 대상으로 총 14개체의 강준치를 3지점에 방류하여 모니 터링을 수행하였다. 하구둑(N02)에서 방류한 8개체들은 방류지점으로부터 15.9 km 상류지점까지를 서식처 범위로 하여 이동하였고, 삼랑진(N07)에서 방류한 4개체들은 신 호가 사라진 E12개체를 제외하고 하류로 이동하였으며, 9.7 km 구간을 서식처 범위로 활용하였다. 2개체가 방류된 창녕함안보(N10)에는 모두가 하류로 이동 하였으며, 이 중 E14개체는 32일 동안 가장 긴 누적감지거리(36.7 km) 를 이동하였다. 강준치의 체장과 누적감지거리, 서식처 범 위와는 상관성이 없는 것으로 확인되었다(Spearman rank correlation, p¤0.05). 비록 본 연구 방식이 담수어류의 이동에 유용하지만 좀 더 자세한 결과를 확보하기 위해 서는 수신기의 수와 적용하는 발신기의 수를 증가시킬 필요성이 있다.

        PURPOSES : The lack of details of guidelines on how to install the Chicane for traffic calming leads the practical difference across the calming areas, so the benefits expected from these facilities are not hardly observed. In this context, this study analysed the relationship between the geometric design alternatives of Chicane with the dynamic behaviour of vehicles in terms of speed and trajectory. METHODS : The study analysed vehicle dynamic behaviour using dynamic analysis program Auto-Turn under various geometric conditions of Chicane. RESULTS : This study suggested the design alternatives of Chicane using terms such as "longitudinal displacement value", "lateral displacement value", etc. which are defined in the study. The suggested combination set is fulfilling the desired or target speed of vehicles and clearance between vehicle and roadside at the same time. CONCLUSIONS : The results from this study can be applied to install Chicane corresponding to the local condition where target speed is 30km/h. The study showed the design alternatives of chicane corresponding to the given road cross-sectional design and clearance to roadside for passenger cars and light truck respectively.

        The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of tensor fasciae latae-iliotibial band (TFL-ITB) self-stretching exercise on the lumbopelvic movement patterns during active prone hip lateral rotation (HLR) in subjects with lumbar extension rotation syndrome accompanying TFL-ITB shortness. Eleven subjects (9 male and 2 female) were recruited for the two-week study. A three dimensional ultrasonic motion analysis system was used to measure the lumbopelvic movement patterns. The TFL-ITB length was measured using the modified Ober's test and was expressed as the hip horizontal adduction angle. The subjects were instructed how to perform TFL-ITB self-stretching exercise program at home. A paired t-test was performed to determine the significant difference in the angle of lumbopelvic rotation, movement onset time of lumbopelvic rotation, TFL-ITB length, and LBP intensity before and after the two-week period of performing the TFL-ITB self-stretching exercise. The results showed that after the intervention, the lumbopelvic rotation angle decreased significantly (p<.05), the movement onset time reduced significantly (p<.05), and LBP intensity decreased slightly but not significantly (p=.07). The hip horizontal adduction angle increased significantly (p<.05) after the intervention. These findings indicate that TFL-ITB stretching exercise increased TFL-ITB length, decreased lumbopelvic rotation angle, and delayed the movement onset time of lumbopelvic rotation after two-weeks. In conclusion, the TFL-ITB self-stretching exercise performed over a period of two weeks may be an effective approach for patients with lumbar extension rotation syndrome accompanying TFL-ITB shortness.

        The purpose of this study is to identify the level of masseter muscle tension according to the levels of restricted movement and pain in the temporomandibular joint(TMJ), thereby verifying the fact that excessive masseter muscle tension can be a cause for restricted movement and pain in the TMJ. The subjects of this study were 81 men and women in their 20s and 30s, who feel uncomfortable with their masticatory function on the preferred chewing side. The subjects were measured in terms of the range of motion (ROM) and deviation of the TMJ and the degree of pain in the affected region. The ROM and deviation of the TMJ were measured using the Global Posture System(GPS) after instructing each subject to open his/her mouth to the fullest and taking photos of the subject with a digital camera. The tension of the masseter muscle was measured with a Pressure Threshold Meter(PTM). After the measurements, in order to compare the ROM of the TMJ, the subjects were divided into two groups based on the ROM of above 35mm and below 35mm. For the deviation and pain, based on the average of total subjects, the subjects were divided into two groups of above and below average. Thereafter, the levels of masseter muscle tension were compared between each pair of groups. According to the results, when each variable was compared between the respective two groups, in terms of the deviation, the pressure pain threshold(PPT) of the masseter muscle revealed a statistically significant difference(p<.05). However, the ROM and pain showed no statistically significant difference. Consequently, masseter muscle tension may cause restricted movement in the TMJ. In particular, the deviation and tension in the masseter muscle is considered to be a factor that causes deviation in the TMJ.

        태풍 발생과 이동에 미치는 전향력의 영향을 살펴보는데 활용할 수 있는 실험 방법을 개발하였다. 실험 장치는 회전원판, 수조, 그리고 태풍과 유사한 모양의 소용돌이를 생성시키기 위한 발생기 등으로 구성되었다. 회전하는 원판에 놓인 수조에서 생성된 소용돌이는 그 형태가 수 분 동안 유지되었다. 반면에 회전이 없을 때는 소용돌이가 생성되기 어려웠고, 생성되더라도 곧 흩어졌다. 회전 유체의 역학적 특성은 전향력이 작용하는 대기와 유사하므로, 앞의 두 실험을 통해 태풍이 발생되기 위해서는 반드시 전향력이 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 경사진 바닥을 갖는 수조 속의 소용돌이는 일정한 방향으로 이동하였다. 지형적 베타 효과를 고려하여, 우리는 바람 효과뿐만 아니라 전향력의 남북방향의 변화가 태풍의 이동에 중요한 영향을 줄 수 있음을 알았다. 이 연구에서 개발한 실험 방법은 학생들이 전향력과 태풍의 관계를 이해하는데 유용하게 사용될 것으로 기대한다.

        목적: 독서능력을 평가하는 도구로 DEM검사를 활용할 수 있는지 확인하였다. 방법: 초등학교4-6학년 246명을 대상으로 독서속도를 직접 측정하는 Visagraph II검사와 DEM검사를 진행한 후, Visagraph II검사의 평균주시횟수, 평균반복횟수, 평균주시시간 및 평균독서속도가 DEM검사의 수직 및 수평보정시간, 오류갯수 및 수평/수직시간비율과 각각 상관성이 있는지 조사하였다. 결과: DEM검사의 수직보정시간은 Visagraph II의 평균주시횟수, 평균주시시간 및 평균독서속도와 각각 유의한 상관성이 있었으며, DEM검사의 수평보정시간은 평균반복 횟수만 유의한 상관성이 있었다. 그러나 DEM검사의 오류갯수 및 수평/수직시간비율은 Visagraph II결과와 유의한 상관성이 없었다. 결론: DEM검사의 중요한 요소인 수평보정시간과 수평/수직시간비율이 Visagraph II의 평균독서속도와 유의한 상관성이 없었으므로, 임상에서 독서능력을 평가하기 위해DEM검사를 활용하는 것은 추가적인 검증이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

        본 연구의 목적은 유아교육기관에서 이루어지는 동작교육에 대한 교사 인식을 규명하는 데 있 다. 이와 같은 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 다음과 같이 연구문제를 설정하였다. 교사들은 유아교육기관 교육과정 중 동작교육에 대한 교사들의 인식과 동작교육 수업을 진행하 기 위해 수업 연구에 대한 노력과 수업 자료를 갖고 있는지와 교사들이 생각하는 동작교육에 대 한 창의성 여부는 어떠한가를 심층면담하고 분석하였다. 수업에 실질적인 도움이 되는 일에 대한 질문에 대부분 대학교육에서나 지속적인 연수를 통하 여 동작교육을 다양하게 실습해 볼 수 있는 프로그램이 제공되어야 한다고 보고 있다. 그리고 그 자료를 현장에서 필요할 때 참조 활용할 수 있도록 수준별 프로그램을 제작하여 유아교육기관에 보급함으로써 보다 질 높은 동작교육을 할 수 있을 것이라는 응답을 하였다. 이러한 내용은 동작 교육 지도에 있어서 시급히 해결해야 할 문제점, 창의적 동작표현 수업 시 어려운 점 등의 내용 을 살펴 본 결과에 대한 해법으로도 제시 될 수 있다. 연구의 결과를 볼 때 움직임과 관련된 동작교육만이 그 교과의 인식과 경험을 풍요롭게 만들어 주는 것인 만큼 대학교육이나 다양한 연수 프로그램, 그리고 여러 가지 교재 개발을 통해 교사들 은 수업에 필요한 구체적인 자료를 제공받기도 하고, 스스로 현장에서 개발하기도 하여 그 영역 에 대한 세계를 함께 공유할 수 있도록 해야 한다.

        The aim of this study was to examine the effects of repeated passive movement (RPM) of different velocities on the improvement of knee joint position sense (JPS) in post-stroke patients with hemiplegia, thereby investigate the possibility of clinical application in the initial stage of rehabilitation for patients with post-stroke hemiplegia. Thirteen hemiplegic patients participated in this study. For the subjects' knee JPS tests, a passive angle reproduction test and an active angle reproduction test were performed prior to and after the intervention, which involved 30 repetitions of passive full-range-of-motion flexion and extension exercise of the knee joints at randomized degrees of , , and . Paired t-test analysis was done in order to compare changes in the pre- and post-intervention knee JPS. One-way repeated analysis of variance was used in order to compare changes in JPS after intervention at three different movement velocities. The level of significance was set at .05. The result was that the subjects' post-intervention knee JPS significantly improved after the RPM exercise at a and a relative to the RPM exercise (p<.05). JPS changes with RPM intervention at the rapid velocity of were most increased, suggesting the most effective enhancement in knee JPS is with intervention at the velocity (p<.05). Therefore, RPM intervention at a half or higher velocity improved stroke patients' knee JPS. During the initial stage of rehabilitation for patients with post-stroke hemiplegia, the efficient application of the RPM exercise at a half or higher velocity will be possible.

        The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of ankle joint mobilization with movement (MWM) on the range of motion (ROM) in the ankle, on the muscle strength of lower extremities, and on spatiotemporal gait parameters in chronic hemiplegic patients. Fifteen subjects with chronic stroke were divided into two groups: an experimental group (8 subjects) and a control group (7 subjects). Both groups attended two or three sessions of physical therapy each week. The experimental group also attended additional MWM training sessions three times a week for five weeks. For both groups, the ROM of the ankle, the muscle strength of the lower extremities, and the spatiotemporal gait parameters in paretic limbs were evaluated before and after the training period. The results showed that the experimental group experienced more significant increases than did the control group in terms of passive (6.10%) and active (21.96%) ROM of the ankle, gait velocity (12.96%), and peak torque, of the knee flexor (81.39%), the knee extensor (24.88%), and the ankle plantar flexor (41.75%)(p<.05). These results suggest that MWM training in patients with chronic stroke may be beneficial in increasing ROM in the ankle, muscle strength in the lower extremities, and gait speed.

        The church growth movement, which is one of the most influential school of mission theology in the 20th century, was born in the postcolonial turmoil which traditional Western churches began to experience stagnation and decline on the home front in North America as well as Europe. In this climate of uncertainty, the research of Donald A. McGavran who had been influenced by the research project of J. Wascon Pickett for the church growth in India, questioned the status quo in missions. This produced The Bridges of God (1955) which suggests new ways to envision the missionary task of the churches. Later on McGaveran’s church growth theories based on research continually challenged the traditional mission strategies and suggested more effective and culturally sensitive ways to win people to Christ. Under his influence, church growth, together with his strong recommendation to adopt research for the church growth, became an indispensable and essential] condition of missions. It is because effective mission strategy based on research for church growth is an indicator of faithfulness to God's command to him. Whereas early church growth movement was mainly concerned with the twothird world church, in 1970s it had been applied into the North American church. Later on many institutes of church growth and church growth scholars have influenced missiology through the different research models. However, it is notable that, while social scientists focus on the contextual factors over which the church have no control, McGavran’s research paradigm usually emphasizes on institutional factors over which the church has control. Nevertheless, it does not discard its contextual factors. By accepting the methodologies of social sciences, the church growth movement has continually developed the effective manuals for research to standardize the research procedures. Although research is not a perfect tool for church growth, strategic research for church growth may well be the most important legacy of church growth movement.

        This meta-analysis investigated the effects on arm motor impairment, arm motor function and disability, and psychological aspects of constraint-induced movement therapy (CIMT) for upper extremity hemiparesis following stroke, based on Korean studies. A comprehensive search of the complete Korean studies information service system (KISS), Research Information Sharing Service (RISS), Korea National Library, and the Korean Medical Database to September 2011 was conducted. Eleven eligible controlled clinical trials compared CIMT to a control group or an alternative treatment. All outcome measures of arm motor impairment, arm motor function and disability, and psychological aspects were pooled for calculating effect size. The overall effect size of CIMT was .700 (95% confidence interval=.482~.918). The CIMT programs showed large effect on the aspect of arm motor function and disability (the effect size is .920) and the psychological aspect (the effect size is .946). The effect of CIMT on arm motor impairment was moderate (the effect size is .588). These results show that CIMT may improve upper extremity motor impairment, function and disability, and psychological aspects following stroke. However, these results were based on a small number of studies, and not all of them were randomized control trials. Additional research is needed to include larger well-designed trials to resolve these uncertainties.

        This study aimed to identify the asymmetry observed in the electromyography (EMG) activity patterns of selected trunk and thigh muscles between the affected and unaffected sides during the sit-to-stand movement in ambulatory patients with post-stroke hemiparesis. This study included 20 patients with post-stroke hemiparesis. The differences between stroke fast walkers (, 11 subjects) and stroke slow walkers (<8 m/s, 9 subjects) were compared. The activation magnitude and onset time of the multifidus, lumbar erector spinae, hamstrings, and quadriceps during the sit-to-stand movement were recorded through surface EMG. Moreover, the EMG activation magnitude and onset time ratios of each bilateral corresponding muscle from the trunk and leg were measured by dividing the relevant values of the unaffected side by those of the affected side. In all the subjects, the activation magnitudes of the multifidus, hamstring, and quadriceps on the affected side significantly decreased compared to those on the unaffected side (p<.05). The onset time of muscle activity in the affected side was markedly delayed for the multifidus and quadriceps during the task (p<.05). The activation magnitude ratios of the quadriceps were markedly decreased in the stroke slow walkers as compared to those in the stroke fast walkers. These findings indicate that the asymmetry in the multifidus, hamstring, and quadriceps muscle activation patterns in patients with post-stroke hemiparesis may be due to the excessive muscle activation in the unaffected side to compensate for the weakened muscle activity in the affected side. Our findings may provide researchers and clinicians with information that can be useful in rehabilitation therapy.

        이 연구에서는 무용동작치료 프로그램 참여가 무용전공 대학생의 무용창작 능력에 미치는 영 향을 규명하기 위해 유목적표집 방법을 이용하여 서울에 소재한 D대학교 무용학과 2학년에 재학 중인 18명을 표집 하였다. 조사도구는 설문지를 사용하였으며, 수집된 자료는 독립표본 t-test, 대 응표본 t-test 그리고 일원변량분석을 통하여 자료를 분석하였다. 첫째, 무용동작치료 프로그램 참여 여부에 따른 무용전공 대학생의 무용창작 능력에 차이를 살펴 본 결과, 무용창작 능력의 각 하위영역인 독창성에서 t=-23.091, p<.05 수준, 다양성에서 t=-39.355, p<.05 수준, 표현력에서 t=-63.778, p<.05 수준, 구성력에서 t=-26.870, p<.05 수준, 그리고 연속성에서 t=-47.343, p<.05 수준으로 모두 실험집단에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보인 것으 로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 무용동작치료 프로그램이 실험집단의 무용창작 능력에 긍정적인 영 향을 미친 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 무용동작치료 프로그램 참여 여부에 따른 집단 간 사전·사후 무용창작 능력을 분석 한 결과, 실험집단에서 유의미한 차이를 보인 것으로 나타났다. 실험집단의 독창성, 다양성, 표현력, 구성력, 그리고 연속성 모두에서 프로그램 시행 전 사전검사점수보다 시행 후 사후검사점수가 통 계적으로 유의미한 수준에서 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 종합해보면, 무용동작치료 프로그램은 무용전공 대학생의 무용창작 능력의 각 하위영역인 독창성(F=15.143, p<.05), 다양성(F=70.447, p<.05), 표현력(F=20.751, p<.05), 구성력 (F=25.456, p<.05), 그리고 연속성(F=57.983, p<.05)에 영향을 미치고, 무용창작 능력을 향상시키는 데 있어 효과적이라는 결론과 함께 긍정적으로 작용함을 알 수 있었다.

        This study used an unstable platform to change the support surface type and position of both lower limbs in order to determine changes in weight distribution and muscle including the vastus medialis, tibialis anterior, lateral hamstring, and lateral gastrocnemius of both lower limbs were evaluated during knee joint flexing and extending in a semi-squat movement in 32 hemiplegic patients. The support surface conditions applied to the lower limbs were divided into four categories: condition 1 had a stable platform for both lower limbs; condition 2 had an unstable platform for the non-hemiplegic side and a stable platform for the hemiplegic side; condition 3 had a stable platform for the non-hemiplegic side and an unstable platform for the hemiplegic side; and condition 4 had an unstable platform for both sides. The normalized EMG activity levels of muscles and weight bearing ratio of both sides in the four surface conditions were compared using repeated measures ANOVA. A significant increase was found in the weight support distribution for the hemiplegic side in flexing and extending sessions in condition 2 compared to the other conditions (p<.05). A statistically significant decrease in significant decrease in asymmetrical weight bearing in flexing and extending sessions was observed for condition 2 compared to the other conditions (p<.05). A similar significant decrease was found in differences in muscular activity for both lower limbs in condition 2 (p<.05). The muscular activity of the hemiplegic side, based on the support surface for each muscle showed a significantly greater increase in condition 2 (p<.05). An unstable platform for the non-hemiplegic side and a stable platform for the hemiplegic side therefore increased symmetry in terms of the weight support distribution rate and muscle activity of lower limbs in hemiplegic patients. The problem of postural control due to asymmetry in hemiplegic patients should be further studied with the aim of developing continuous effects of functional training based on the type and position of the support surfaces and functional improvement.

        This is the study of American Aesthetic Movement and the Louis Comfort Tiffany's Decorative art. At first, I supposed that Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933) was the most successful American Aesthete. He insisted that he pursuit of ‘quest of beauty’ entire his art life at the speech in 1919 retrospective exhibition. The ‘quest of beauty’ is one of creeds of Aestheticism became known through the famous English aesthete Oscar Wilde lectured at the American tour lecture in 1882-1883. Interestingly Wilde also addressed English Arts & Crafts Movement and the ideas of John Ruskin at the lectures. So American public and artists could be accepted both English decorative art movements synthetically. That resulted many of artists turned their focus on decorative art media or decorative art production, as like interior design, stained glass, art pottery, etc. To American artist, interior decoration was another medium for artistic experiment or art-making to realize ideal beauty in everyday life. To beautify everyday life and environment with artistic utilitarian goods was the goal of William Morris(1834-96)' who the leader of Arts & Crafts Movement, so as to Louis Tiffany. Then, Louis Tiffany tried to show his individuality by the eclectic synthesis of the Oriental-Western styles. He synthesized Western & Oriental arts of disparate region or ages uniquely. Finally, his eclectic design method would be applied for creating interiors to artistic unity. Because of Louis Tiffany was a Colorist painter and American Aesthetic Movement artist also, he searched for beauty and wished to express the beautiful ‘color and light’ effect through his art. To accomplish this artistic goal, he used oil and watercolor paints, from opaque to transparent and also translucent at the same time. At last, he developed the ‘Favrile glass’ to describe the colored light, coloring, shades and gradations more than paintings do. Furthermore, he used a variety of decorative media like glass, enamel, jewel and textile for the natural/artistic reproduction of color and light effect in nature. What was the reason for Louis Tiffany's pursuit of naturalism in his product design? The reason was that he sympathized with the John Ruskin's design concept with ‘garden room’ interior design. He tried to depict natural landscape or garden flowers and vegetables on the stained glass windows, glass vases, lamp shades, enamel work, jewelry to construct Aesthetic-practical garden room. That was also the way to be accomplished the authentic goal of Morris' Arts & Crafts Movement.So he incorporated various art companies and then developed art industry complex. He was also an entrepreneur who produced variety of household products industrially. The reason is that he hoped to realize the ideal of William Morris. Who advocated to beautify the interior and daily life for the public. But real consumers of the Morris products were only the wealthiest high class in England and also in America. However, Louis Tiffany's decorative art work differentiated from the Morris'. Because he wanted to answer the demand for consumer democracy. Therefore, he pursued artistic & economic goals simultaneously through his art enterprises as he accepted Aestheticism and Arts & Crafts Movement together. To realize this double goal, he produced kinds of decorative arts and household goods as the colorist artist- aesthete entrepreneur.
