        In this study the nanostructured ceramics have been fabricated by the combined application of magnetic pulsed compaction (MPC) and subsequent spark plasma sintering (SPS), and their density and hardness properties were investigated. The prepared by the combined processes showed an increase by in density, approaching the value close to the true density, and an enhancement by in hardness, compared to those fabricated by MPC or static compaction method followed by sintering treatment.

        Bio-diesel as fatty acid methyl ester was derived from such oils as soybean, peanut and canola oil by lipase catalyzed continuous trans-esterification. So the activation of lipase(Novozym - 435) was kept to be up to 4:1, the limiting molar ratio of methanol to oil under one-step addition of methanol due to the miscibility of oil and methanol through the static mixer for 4hrs and the elimination of glycerol on the surface of lipase by 7wt% silica gel. Therefore the overall yield of fatty acid methyl ester from soybean oil appeared to be 98% at 50·C of reaction temperature under two-steps addition of methanol with 2×2:1 of methanol to oil molar ratio at an interval of 5.5hrs, 7wt% of lipase, 24 number of mixer elements, 0.2ml/min of flow rate and 7wt% of silica gel.

        최근 콘크리트 균열선단에서 균열의 발생을 억제하거나 균열 발생시 균열폭을 제어하고 일정부분 하중저항 능력을 향상시킬 목적으로 다양한 형태의 강섬유(Steel Fiber)를 혼입하는 방법이 개발되어 사용되고 있다. 강섬유 보강 철근콘크리트보(SFRC; Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete)의 복잡한 파괴역학적 성질에 의한 불확실성 통이 내재되어 있다. 본 연구에서는 SFRC보의 불확식성을 고려하는 신뢰성 해석을 수행하였다. 이를 위해 강도 한계상태모형을 제시하였고, 한계상태함수에 포함된 각종 확률변수들에 대한 통계적 특정값을 국내외 관련 문헌을 근거하여 수집, 제시하였다. 향후 추가적인 관련정보가 수집되면 보다 개선된 통계적 특성값을 제공 할 수 있도록 Blayseian Updating 기법을 사용하여 실험결과로부터 불확실성을 개선하는 과정을 제시하였다. 뿐만 아니라 피로신뢰성의 해석을 위해 피로파괴확률식을 제안하고 필요한 통계적 특성 값을 제시하였다.

        한국원자력 연구소에서 추진하고 있는 사용후핵연료 관리 이용 기술개발의 경제성과 환경친화성을 증진시키기 위해서 리튬회수 기술을 개발하고 관련 검증실험을 수행하였다. 본 기술은 1) 환원전극과 결합된 비전도성 다공성 마그네시아 용기를 이용한 용융염상에서의 산화리튬 전해, 2) 마그네시아 용기를 용융염 액위 이상으로 상승시켜, 용기 내에 회수된 리튬의 용융염으로부터의 분리, 3) 회수된 리튬의 진공 사이펀을 사용한 별도 저장조로의 이송이라는 3단계의 결합으로 특징지어 진다. 개발된 기술에 의하여 염화리튬-산화리튬 용융염으로부터 95% 이상의 수율로 리튬을 반연속적으로 회수할 수 있었다.

        동적 불안정 좌굴현상에 관한 연구는 다소 발표되고 있으나, 주기성을 가진 하중하에서의 동적 좌굴을 다룬 연구는 그리 많지 않은 편이다. 주기성을 가진 하중하에서의 거동은 STEP 하중하에서의 거동과는 매우 다르리라 예상된다. 본 논문에서는 동적 불안정의 기본 메커니즘을 파악하기 위하여 양단 핀으로 고정된 정현형 아치가 정현형 조화하중을 받았을 때의 얕은 아치를 대상으로 한다. 얕은 아치의 동적 간접 좌굴 메커니즘을 파악하기 위하여 STEP 하중뿐만 아니라 정현형 조화하중일 때를 대상으로 한다. 동적 비선형 응답 특성을 알기 위하여 수치적분에 의해 기하학적 비선형 운동방정식을 유도한다. 여기서 얻어진 비선형 변위 응답으로 FFT(Fast Fourier Transform)에 의한 연속 응답 스펙트럼을 구해 동적 불안정 특성에 관해서 분석한다.

        Motor skill learning can be acquired implicitly without consciousness of what is being learned. The purpose of this study was to examine the characteristics of implicit motor learning in young and elderly people using a perceptual-motor task. Forty normal young and elderly subjects participated. A modified version of the Serial Reaction Time Task (SRTT) using six blocks of twelve perceptual motor sequences was administered. The paradigm consisted of the first random sequence block followed by the four patterned blocks and another random block. In each block, the go signal consisted of an asterisk displayed in the one of the four parallel arrayed boxes in the middle of the screen. Subjects were instructed to push the corresponding response buttons as quickly as possible. Young subjects demonstrated shorter reaction times during the consecutive patterned blocks reflecting appropriate learning accomplished. Elderly subjects were able to learn a perceptual-motor task with implicit knowledge, but the performance was lower than that of the young persons. These results indicated that implicit sequence learning is still preserved in elderly adults, but the rate of learning is slower.

        W-Cu composite has been used for the applications requiring both high strength, good thermal and electrical conductivity. A graded combination of W and Cu will reduce thermal stress concerned with heat conduction, maintaining good thermal conductivity and high mechanical strength. In the present work, an attempt was made to fabricate continuous W-Cu FGM by preparing the graded porous structure of W skeleton using spark plasma sintering (SPS) process followed by infiltrating Cu. The graded porous structure was prepared at 150 for 60s under pressure of 15MPa by SPS process using a graphite mold with varying crr)ss section in the longitudinal direction. Infiltration of Cu was performed at 115 for 1 hour under . W-Cu composite with graded Cu composition of 14 to 27 wt% was finally prepared. In this process the gradient of composition could be conveniently controlled by varying the gradient of cross sectional area of graphite mold, temperature and pressure.

        Recently the construction of residential building faces many difficulties due to the shortage of building materials and works. Simplifying the stage of processing and assembling reinforcing rods and increasing the efficiency of them in reinforced concrete construction can be used to settle the difficulties. In the respect, structural wire-fabric is utilized. The purpose of this study, instead of deformed steel bars, to examine the utilization of slab joint, which is accompanied with a large deformation in the structure subjected to seismic loads, to suggest reinforcing method which is efficient, easily constructible and structurally safe. The results are as follows ; 1. The ductility capacity of slab reinforced by welded wire fabric was less than with deformed bar in discontinuous slab joint. To enhance the ductility capacity, deformed bar should be used with welded wire fabric for the longitudinal reinforcement. 2. It is avoid to use loop welded wire fabric as the longitudinal reinforcement in wall, because the strength and ductility capacity showed lower value than that with deformed bar. 3. Using welded wire fabric in wall structures, it need deformed bar reinforcement with sufficient anchorage length.

        본 논문은 강교좌장치를 가지고 있는 연속 강교량을 지진으로부터 보호하기 위해서 형상기억합금을 이용한 장치를 제안했다. 예로 사용하고 있는 연속 강교량은 고정단을 가진 교각에 지진하중이 집중하고 상당히 큰 상부구조의 중량으로 인하여 교각에 손상을 입기 쉽고 상판의 교대에 대한 충돌로 교대의 수동변위가 크게 나타날 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 두 가지 종류의 restrainer-damper가 제안되었으며 지진해석을 통해서 효과를 검증하였다. 또한 미주에서 일반적으로 사용되고 있는 강재 케이블의 restraoiner와 성능을 비교하였다.

When analyzing data set with continuous values in order to gain knowledge utilizing data mining, we often undergo a process called discretization, which divides the attribute’s value into intervals. Such intervals from new values for the attribute allow to reduce the size of the data set. In addition, discretization based on rough set theory has the advantage of being easily applied. In this paper, we suggest a discretization algorithm based on Rough set and SOM(Self-Organizing Map) as a means of extracting valuable information from large data set, which can be employed even in the case where there lacks of professional knowledge for the field.
