,  , Pseudanostirus ecarinatus (Stepanov, 1930) is recognized for the first time in Korea. A redescription and illustrations of the species are presented based on a single male specimen collected from Mt. Bangtae Gangwon-do. We also provide diagnostic characteristics of the genus, which clearly separate it from other closely related genera, Calambus Thomson, 1859 and Anostrius Thomson, 1859.

전광판식 번식 기록관리 시스템은 판넬식 전광판 형태로 되어 있고, 우사의 벽에 설치하 도록 제작되어 있어, 재발정일, 이전(以前) 수정일, 분만예정일, 건유일 등과 같은 관리일 (日)을 알고 싶을 때나 그밖의 개체에 관한 번식정보를 알고자 할 때는 수시로 확인할 수 있음은 물론 분만, 인공수정 등과 같은 관리사항을 기록해야 할 일이 생겼을 때는, 기입할 칸에 <날짜입력>이라는 키를 누름으로써 오늘 날짜가 자동적으로 기록됨과 동시에 저장이 되도록 고안되어 있어 현장에서 사용하기에 매우 적합하도록 되어 있는 기록관리의 편의성 을 제공하기 위해 고안된 시스템이다. 전광판식 번식 기록관리 시스템을 현장에 적용하여 도태율, 번식장애로 인한 도태율, 공태기간 및 공태기간 분포를 조사한 결과, 도태율은 5.7%, 번식장애로 인한 도태율은 10.3% 낮아졌고, 공태기간은 32.2일 단축되었으며, 공태 기간 121일 이상의 비율이 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다. 젖소 농장에서 1일 3회 이상 관찰을 하는 것은 정보 및 경영 활동 등으로 인한 목장에 부재하는 시간이 증가함에 따라 현실적 으로 어려움이 따르고, 또한 온도상승, 사육환경(사육밀도, 우사바닥)의 변화, 고능력우의 증 가, 심야시간대의 발정개시, 미약발정우의 증가 등으로 발정발견이 매우 어려운 상황이다. 발정발견 보조 수단으로는 발정발견의 가장 중요한 지표가 되는 승가허용 원리를 이용하여 소의 미근부에 부착하는 형태의 일회용 또는 전자식 보조기가 많이 개발되어 보급되고 있 는데, 여기서 공시한 발정탐색기는 승가 및 승가허용 행동을 할 때, 발목에 부착되어 있는 센서가 수직적인 충격에 의해 위와 아래의 전극이 접지되어 신호가 발생되고, 그 신호가 전 광판으로 전송되어 발정 정보(발정행동 횟수 및 개시시간)를 표시하도록 고안된 것이다. 승 가나 승가허용의 발정행동에 의해 90% 정확도와 75%의 수태율을 나타내었고, 젖소 사육 농가 5개소에 적용한 결과, 적용 전에 비하여 적용 후에 발정발견율이 크게 향상되는 경향 을 나타내었다. 무인 발정탐색기를 이용하여 발정이 개시되는 시간대를 조사한 결과, 발정 발견이 곤란한 저녁 7시부터 다음날 아침 7시 사이에 59.1%가 발정이 개시되는 현상을 나 타내었고, 발정행동을 한 최초의 시간으로부터 12시간 이후에 인공수정을 실시하는 것이 높은 수태율을 나타내었으며, 발정행동 횟수의 분포를 조사한 결과 3회 이하의 비율이 40.9 %를 나타내었다.

Seven Easy Pieces, the performances that Marina Abramović had shown at Guggenheim Museum in November, 2005 gathered attentions for she represented the performances that had been in 1960s and 70s by the artists herself and her colleagues on those term. The complex meaning of the title, Seven Easy Pieces was enough to make an issue. It contained the meaning of the musical concept and the slogan of the designer Donna Karen simultaneously and showed the performances of 1960's and 70's every night during a week. This show included and presented as follows, Bruce Nauman's Body Pressure(1974), Vito Acconci's Seedbed(1972), VALIE EXPORT's Action Pants: Genital Panic(1968), Gina Pane's The Conditioning(1973), Joseph Beuys' How to explain pictures to a Dead Hare?(1965), her own performance Lips of Thomas(1975) and Entering the Other Side(2005) at the last night.This show was progressing with the performance biennale 'Performa05', at the same time but was not a part of it. However, there is the major significance that Guggenheim made agreement with Abramović to make the performance art meaningful. Also it looked like going together with the meaning of 'Performa05' that Abramović chose the performances during 1960s and 70s when the performance arts have animated. Though, we should consider that the purpose of Seven Easy Pieces was really in remembering the early performances just like she had chosen. Because It had too many interesting points.First, Abramović asked to the major artists in 1960 and 70 the permissions to re-perform their works or paid for copyrights to progress her show. In this pregress, Chris Burden refused to let his work, Trans-Fixed(1974) perform again by Abramović, and Guggenheim denied to re-perform Abramović's Rhythm0(1974). This was the unheard-of thing in the re-performance some works. So, it could be understood as because the performance art was shown in 'the present', in 'the museum', consequently Abramović had to accept the conditions of 'time' and 'space'.Second, there were lots of differences between the original performances and Abramović's re-performances in Seven Easy Pieces. Actually it is not possible to revive the original works as those were, but Seven Easy Pieces is worthy of notice that Abramović adapted the original things. This can be explained by residing in that Abramović couldn't experience the real scene at that time and she planed this show only depending on the documents. And this point can occur the problems of the relationship between the original performance, the documents, and the re-performance based on the documents.Therefore this study set up the purpose to shape up Abramović's intention and the meaning of the re-performance with investigating the re-performed works in Seven Easy Pieces.

 ,  , Two species of the genus Hypena Schrank, 1802, H. nigrobasalis (Herz, 1904) and H. conspersalis Staudinger, 1888, are reported for the first time from China. Adults and genitalic characteristics of the two species are briefly redescribed, with illustrations and their distribution.

 ,  , This study presents the list and key to the 8 species of the Subfamily Typhlodrominae from Korea including a newly recorded species, Typhlodromus coryli Wu and Lan, 1991. This subfamily comprises four genera: Kuzinellus Wainstein, Paraseiulus Muma, Galendromus Muma, and Typhlodromus Scheuten.

 ,  , A taxonomic review of Bolitotrogus kurosonis Miyatake 1964 is presented. B. kurosonis is a fungivorous tenebrionid beetle and is a rare inhabitant of fungi on deciduous trees (Quercus, Carpinus laxiflora, etc.) in Korea. Sporophores of Inonotus mikadoi (Lloyd) Imaz. was the obligate feeding and breeding sites for this species in Jeju-do. A description, an additional key to the Korean Bolitophagini, fungal host, photographs of adult, and illustrations of diagnostic characteristics are provided.

비선형 시간이력응답해석에서 입력지진동은 구조물의 탄소성 지진응답을 결정짓는 중요한 요소이다. 시간이력해석에 사용되는 기록지진동파형은 지진발생 메카니즘, 전달경로, 지반의 성질에 따른 여러 가지 인자가 복잡하게 관련되어 있기 때문에 구조물의 지진응답해석에 사용될 일반성을 갖는 입력지진동을 선정하는 것은 매우 어려운 문제이다. 본 논문은 실무에서 내진설계용 지진동으로 가장 선호하지 않는 입력지진동을 선정하여 인공지진동파형을 작성하였다. 인공지진동은 기록지진동과 동일한 위상각을 가지며, 감쇠정수 h=5%일 때의 설계용 스펙트럼과 거의 일치하도록 작성되었다. 기록지지동과 인공지진동을 입력한 1자유도계의 탄성 및 탄소성 지진 응답해석을 수행하여 탄소성 응답스펙트럼 및 입력에너지 응답 특성을 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 작성된 인공지진동은 건축구조물의 탄소성 지진응답해석용 입력지진동으로 충분히 타당성이 있다고 사료된다.

제주지역은 연평균 16.5℃로 사계절이 뚜렷한 아열대성 해양기후이다. 제주도는 연평균기온이 지난 100년간 지구평균 상승기온 0.74℃보다 2배이상 높은 1.6℃상승하여 기후온난화 영향이 뚜렷하게 나타나고 있다. 기후온난화 영향으로 위도가 높은 섬지역서도 아열대성 나방류가 발견되고(박, 2006)있어 제주지역 및 인근 섬 지역에 분포하는 나방류 분포 및 아열대성 나방류 유입 여부등 나방류 분포의 명료화 할 필요가 있게 되었다. 이에 2010년 5월부터 2011년 5월까지 아열대나방류 분포확인을 위해 제주도 및 제주도 인근 부속섬(추자도, 우도, 마라도)의 9개지역 20개지점을 대상으로 55회 유아등 조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 자나방과 2종(Heterolocha coccinea (Inoue), Mixochlora vittatas (Moore)), 밤나방과 2종(Adrapsa subnotigera Owada, Adrapsa ablualis Walker), 독나방과 1종 (Calliteara taiwana (Wileman)), 재주나방과 1종(Quadricalcarifera nachiensis (Marumo)), 총 4개과 6종이 우리나라 미기록 종으로 확인되어 보고하고자 한다.

 ,  , Synanthedon velox (Fixsen) is redescribed and the genus Bembecia is reported for the first time from Korea with B. pavicevia Tosevski, Description, images of the adult, genitalia, and the Korean common names of two species are provided. Their host plants are listed and their biology is briefly summarized.

 ,  , The family Brachyceridae is reported for the first time in Korea and is represented by Desmodophorus hebes(Fabricius, 1781). A revised description, morphological photographs of adults, illustrations of genitalia, a key to the families of Korean Curculionoidea, and a key to the East Asian species of Desmidophorus are provided.

Western style timber roof trusses used as typical roof structures of buildings during a modern period have been developed with the interactions with their facade and functionality. The shapes of trusses and member sizes have been diversely changed by the purposes of architects, historical circumstances, and structural characteristics. For this reason, the change in the shapes of western style timber trusses along the times is one of important technology assets demonstrating the development of their structures during the modern period. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to find out their structural characteristics throughout parametric analysis of which parameters were determined from the collected and classified documents on western style timber roof structure built in the modern period carefully obtained from public institutions. Results of the parametric analysis are as follows. The number of king-post trusses and modified king-post trusses built between 1920 and 1937 reaches almost half of the total number of truss types investigated. The mean values of their spans, distances, tributary areas, and height are respectively, 10.5m, 2.4m, 24.37㎡ and 3.24m. The cross-section areas of trusses tend to reduce since the city construction law was enacted in 1920. Also, this study found that western architects usually used larger structural members than eastern architects and usages and finishing materials of roof trusses are not always considered as one of the important design parameters.

This study was conducted to investigate the meal quality and dietary behaviors of low-income family children by qualitative method. The subjects were 12 children(2 boys and 10 girls) aged 7 to 11, enrolled in an after-school care center in Kimpo, Gyeonggi province. Most of their mothers had jobs(83.3%) and 75% were the beneficiaries of a government assistance program. When compared using body mass index(BMI) percentile, 16.7% of the subjects were classified as being overweight. The food intake patterns and meal qualities were evaluated from dietary records for three non-consecutive days. The mean dietary diversity score(DDS) was 3.8, suggesting at least one food group was deficit. Only 8.3% of the records indicated a satisfactory intake of all five food groups, and fruit was the most deficit food group(58.3%). Also, the proportion of balanced of meals was low, especially breakfast(36%), in that main dish(the source of protein) was not included. The children had problematic eating behaviors, such as an unbalanced diet, eating meals in a hurry, skipping breakfast, and irregular meal times. They answered that they liked to eat simple meals and convenient foods. In conclusion, nutrition education should incorporate strategies to reach families and help with meal planning and management, as well as modifying the eating behaviors of children, in order to improve nutritional status.

Five erigonine spider species are described with illustrations: a new species, Saitonia pilosus n. sp., and four records new to the Korean spider fauna, Ceratinella brevis (Wider, 1834), Erigone atra Blackwall, 1833, Maso sundevalli (Westring, 1851), and Parasisis amurensis Eskov, 1984. The occurrences of four spider genera, Ceratinella Emerton, 1882, Maso Simon, 1884, Parasisis Eskov, 1984, and Saitonia Eskov, 1992, are also new to Korea.

줄무늬폭탄먼지벌레속(Mastax)은 분류학적으로 폭탄먼지벌레아과(Brachininae), 폭탄먼지벌레족(Brachinini)에 속하며 세계적으로 50여종이 아시아와 아프리카에 걸쳐 분포하는 희소 분류군이다. 본 속의 종들은 소형이며, 일반적으로 빨간 체색 과 딱지날개의 특이적인 줄무늬 문양을 지닌 아름다운 색체를 띠고 있다. 국내에 서 최근 줄무늬폭탄먼지벌레, Mastax thermarum egorovi (Lafer, 1973), 1종만이 보고된 바 있다. 이에 추가적으로 2009년도 충북 청원지역에서 채집된 표본에 대 한 검토 결과, Mastax formosana Dupuis, 1912로 확인되었다. 이에 따라서 전자현 미경적 미세구조 등 형태적 특징을 보고하고자 한다. Two species of the genus Andaspis, Andaspis crawii (Cockerell) and Andaspis kashicola (Takahashi) are newly recorded in the Korean fauna of armored scales (Diaspididae). A key to species of Andaspis, illustrative photographs and information on the distribution and hosts of each species, are also provided to identify the specimens of Andaspis collected in Korea.

Three species of the genus Neolygus Knight - N. hakusanensis (Yasunaga, 1991), N. roseus (Yasunaga, 1991) and N. zhugei (Yasunaga, 1991) - are recognized for the first time in Korea. An identification key to the eleven Korean Neolygus species is presented. Some illustrations of male genitalic structures are also provided.
