        The inspection items of tunnels include road surface breakage and cleaning condition, lane paint condition, lining crack, leakage, corrosion condition, tile cleaning condition, daylight and nighttime optimum illuminance condition, drainage facility damage and cleaning condition, Gangway wall wall and retaining wall abnormality, slope top and side slope condition. However, investigations for maintenance of tunnels mainly consisted of surveying condition and durability of concrete lining due to characteristics of tunnels.

        In this study, the maintenance techniques of expressway geotechnical structures have been reviewed for the last 50 years. And, throuth this, necessary maintenance technology was derived in the future. As a result, the maintenance of the geotechnical structures was mainly developed for slope structures. And slope information system, alarm system, etc. have been developed and applied. In the future, technological advancement will be achieved by applying the 4th industry revolution technology.

        This study introduces a decision-making support method for maintenance activities of bridges after earthquake. A seismic damage prediction system for bridges which do not have seismic acceleration sensors was developed to support the maintenance activities. The system consists of two main modules, one is seismic load estimation module based on the data from seismic stations and the other is seismic damage prediction modules based on the finite elements analysis models for seismic analysis. After verifying the prediction system for the damaged bridges after Po-Hang Earthquake, it was found that the system was able to predict seismic damages of bridges enough to make a decision of maintenance activities.

        This Study reviewed the case of Gyeonggi-do province which recently induced Drone to pavement management system in order to research a plan to utilize recent technology Drone to pavement management system which is being operated depending on vehicles and manpower for 30 years. After filming video on local roads managed by Gyeonggi-do province by using Drone directly and created point cloud having three dimensional coordinate and color value through program analysis. Furthermore, this research showed that when we found similar color to point cloud at pavement crack part and applied color, crack part was detected.

        The stresses occurred in the middle slab at the areas of the emergency passageway in a double-deck tunnel are analyzed when the slab is lifted to replace bearing pads placed between the middle slab and supporting bracket as a maintenance process. The middle slab can be lifted at several different points near the emergency passageway areas and the stresses of the middle slab depend on the lifting points. This study presents the effect of the lifting location of the middle slab on the stress occurrence for the maintenance work of replacing bearing pads under the middle slab near the emergency passageway areas.

        We are observing the cracking condition of HPC pavement. We used ultrasonic equipment and 3D GPR equipment to inspect cracks. The depth and the deterioration of cracks were good during observation. We are going to observe the crack with caution.

        In this paper, damage assessment technology based on statistical pattern recognition technology was developed for maintenance of structure and the performance of the developed technology was verified by vibration test. The damage assessment technique uses the improved Mahalanobis distance theory, which is a statistical pattern recognition technique, and developed to take account of the variability between the measured data. In order to verify the damage evaluation performance of the developed technology, a cable damage test was conducted for a cable-stayed bridge. Experimental results show that the developed damage assessment technology has the capability of extracting information that can determine the location of damage due to cable damage.

        In this study, in order to verify the effects of damaged quantities to maintenance prioritization with performance evaluation system, crack conditions which were subdivided as per performance evaluation grade, critical maintenance part and priority part are considered as evaluation factors of prioritization. This result prove that maintenance prioritization has been changed by damaged quantities.

        In this study, we analyze the policy related to building safety diagnosis and maintenance management and suggest improvement direction of system for building diagnosis. The US has various test methods and laws and regulations standardized on wide territory, so it is excellent in responding to changes in regulations. In the UK, the technology of the building diagnosis related field is advanced through systematic efforts of diagnosis and maintenance of the building. Therefore, it is necessary to establish and revitalize regulations related to building diagnosis and maintenance management, to revise the laws and regulations of related institutions, and to systematically cultivate manpower through specialized agencies related to diagnosis and maintenance.

        LoRa LPWAN 네트워크 시스템은 비면허 무선통신을 이용하고, Mems 기반 통합센서를 통하여 Data 계측 및 기존 계측센서의 무선통신을 구현한 시스템이다. 본 시스템은 기존의 무선계측시스템 대비 장거리 통신과 기존망을 활용한 기술적/경제적인 우수성을 갖고 있으며, 유선계측시스템 대비 시스템 구축장비의 최소화로 경제성을 확보하였다. 경제성 검토항목에서 기존 유선계측 시스템 대비 약 41%의 경제적인 절감효과가 가능하다는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 유지관리 및 운영적인 측면에서도 우수하기 때문에 향후 국내에서도 많은 교량에 설치가 된다면, 교량의 유지관리 분야의 우수한 시스템으로 발전되고, 재난(지진 산사태 등), 환경(오염물 측정 및 관리 등), 플랜트 분야(화재 안전 등)에도 폭넓게 사용되길 기대한다.

        Many of the facility management information system are being operated by each government departments and Acts. Therefore, it is difficult to share and integrate data through the network because data standard codes are not established. In spite of these problems, the Special Act on the Safety Management and maintenance imposes duties on the main agent of national infra structure management and the maintenance results should be integrated in Infra Structure Information Management System(FMS). Thus we propose the structure classification standard codes for the FMS to integrate and analyze safety and management data.

        This study is aimed at developing a wireless unified-maintenance system (WUMS) that would satisfy all the requirements for a disaster preventive SHM system of civil structures. The WUMS is designed to measure diverse types of structural responses in realtime based on wireless communication, allowing users to selectively use WiFi RF band and finally working in standalone mode by means of the field-programmable gate array (FPGA) technology. To verify its performance, the following tests were performed: (i) A test to see how far communication is possible in open field, (ii) a modal test on a bridge to see how exactly characteristic real-time dynamic responses are of structures. Finally, the WUMS is proved valid as a SHM, and its outstanding performance is also proven.
