        본 연구에서는 건조 후 20여년 운항한 군산대학교 실습선 해림호의 발전기를 대상으로 직접 선박현장에서 실험하여 최적 연료분사시기를 규명해서 선박의 경제적이고 친환경적인 운항에 도움을 주고자 연구하였다. 실험은 기관회전속도 1,200 rpm으로 일정히 유지하고, 기관부하를 0 kW에서 90 kW까지 30 kW간격으로 변화시켰으며, 연료분사시기는 BTDC 19o에서 23o까지 2o 간격으로 변화시키면서 실험하였다. 실험결과 연료분사시기를 BTDC 21°에서 BTDC 23°로 앞당길 경우, 연료소비율은 1.37 % 감소하였고, 질소산화물은 11.59 % 증가하였으며, 매연은 23.5 % 감소하였고, 아황산가스는 2.8 % 감소하였다. 따라서 노후 발전기 엔진에 있어서 연료분사시기가 연소특성 및 배기배출물특성에 미치는 영향을 종합적으로 분석․고찰한 결과, 최적 연료분사시기는 원래의 분사시기보다 2° 앞당겨진 BTDC 23°로 확인되었다.

        The smoke emission of biodiesel fuel was reduced remarkably in comparison with diesel fuel, that is, it was reduced approximately 36% at 2000rpm, full load condition. And, power, torque and brake specific energy consumption showed no significant differences. However, NOx emission of biodiesel fuel was increased compared with commercial diesel fuel. Also, the effects of exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) to reduce the NOx emission has been investigated. It was found that simultaneous reduction of smoke and NOx was achieved with biodiesel fuel(20vol-%) and cooled EGR method(10∼15%).

        A demand for bio-diesel oil increases as one of solution for exhaustion of fossil fuel and reduction of CO2 emission, and research on bio-diesel is being carried out. Bio-diesel oil is mainly esterified from vegetable oil with methanol in order to use for fuel on diesel engine and has demerit that costs are increased as compared with directly using like non-esterified one. Bio-diesel oil within 3% mixed with gas oil is used at present, proportion of bio-diesel oil will be increase by 5% in future. We judged that wasted soybean oil non-esterified could be used on diesel engine with an electronic fuel injection according to previous researches with a mechanical fuel injection. A performance test using only gas oil, gas oil with esterified bio-diesel oil 5% and wasted soybean oil non-esterified 5% on diesel engine with the electronic fuel injection were carried out. It is noticed that gas oil with wasted soybean oil non-esterified 5% has more similar characteristics to gas oil than gas oil with esterified bio-diesel oil 5%.

        The effect of carrier gases (He, ) on the properties of Ti coating layers were investigated to manufacture high-density Ti coating layers. Cold spray coating layers manufactured using He gas had denser and more homogenous structures than those using gas. The He gas coating layers showed porosity value of 0.02% and hardness value of Hv 229.1, indicating more excellent properties than the porosity and hardness of gas coating layers. Bond strengths were examined, and coating layers manufactured using He recorded a value of 74.3 MPa; those manufactured using gas had a value of 64.6 MPa. The aforementioned results were associated with the fact that, when coating layers were manufactured using He gas, the powder could be easily deposited because of its high particle impact velocity. When Ti coating layers were manufactured by the cold spray process, He carrier gas was more suitable than gas for manufacturing excellent coating layers.

        In this study, the potential possibility of biodiesel fuel was investigated as an alternative fuel for a naturally aspirated common rail diesel engine. The smoke emission of biodiesel fuel 30 vol%(max. content) was reduced in comparison with diesel fuel, that is, it was reduced approximately 60% at 4000rpm, full load. But, power, torque and brake specific energy consumption didn't have no large differences. But, NOx emission of biodiesel fuel was increased compared with commercial diesel fuel.

        Cold spray deposition using Titanium powder was carried out to investigate the effects of powder morphology and powder preheating on the coating properties such as porosity and hardness. The in-flight particle velocity of Ti powder in cold spray process was directly measured using the PIV (particle image velocimetry) equipment. Two types of powders (spherical and irregular ones) were used to manufacture cold sprayed coating layer. The results showed that the irregular morphology particle appeared higher in-flight particle velocity than that of the spherical one under the same process condition. The coating layer using irregular morphology powder represented lower porosity level and higher hardness. Two different preheating conditions (no preheating and preheating at ) were used in the process of cold spraying. The porosity decreased and the hardness increased by conducting preheating at . It was found that the coating properties using different preheating conditions were dependent not on the particle velocity but on the deformation temperature of particle. The deposition mechanism of particles in cold spray process was also discussed based on the experimental results of in flight-particle velocity.

        본 연구에서는 유리단섬유로 보강된 분사식 섬유보강 복합재료의 인장거동 평가를 위한 실험 및 해석연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위해 다양한 변형율속도(strain rate)에 따른 에폭시수지 및 분사식 섬유보강 복합재료의 인장강도 실험을 수행하였다. 본 연구에 사용된 분사식 섬유보강 복합재료는 15mm 길이로 절단된 유리단섬유가 25% 부피비율로 혼입된 보수·보강용 재 료이다. 에폭시수지의 점탄성 특성을 고려하기 위해 역산모델링(inverse simulation)을 수행하여 변형율속도에 따른 점성변화 를 함수식으로 제안하였다. 역산모델링을 통해 제안된 함수식을 미세역학 기반의 점탄성 손상모델(micromechanics-based viscoelastic damage model; Yang et al., 2012)에 적용하여 분사식 섬유보강 복합재료의 인장거동을 수치적으로 해석하였다. 분사식 섬유보강 복합재료의 인장거동 해석결과와 실험결과를 비교하여 미세역학 기반의 점탄성 손상모델의 정확성을 검증 하였다.

        This study investigated the effects of annealing environment for the densification and purification properties of pure titanium coating layer manufactured by cold spraying. The annealing was conducted at /1 h and three kinds of environments of vacuum, Ar gas, and mixture gas were controlled. Cold sprayed Ti coating layer (as sprayed) represented 6.7% of porosity and 228 HV of hardness, showing elongated particle shapes (severe plastic deformation) perpendicular to injection direction. Regardless of gas environments, all thermally heat treated coating layers consisted of pure -Ti and minimal oxide. Vacuum environment during heat treatment represented superior densification properties (3.8% porosity, 156.7 HV) to those of Ar gas (5.3%, 144.5 HV) and mixture gas (5.5%, 153.1 HV). From the results of phase analysis (XRD, EPMA, SEM, EDS), it was found that the vacuum environment during heat treatment could be effective for reducing oxide contents (purification) in the Ti coating layer. The characteristic of microstructural evolution with heat treatment was found to be different at three different gas environments. The controlling method for improving densification and purification in the cold sprayed Ti coating material was also discussed.

        This study attempted to manufacture a Cu-15 at.%Ga coating layer via the cold spray process and investigated the effect of heat treatment environment on the properties of cold sprayed coating material. Three kinds of heat treatment environments, +argon, pure argon, and vacuum were used in this study. Annealing treatments were conducted at /1 hr. With the cold sprayed coating layer, pure -Cu and small amounts of were detected in the XRD, EDS, EPMA analyses. Porosity significantly decreased and hardness also decreased with increasing annealing temperature. The inhomogeneous dendritic microstructure of cold sprayed coating material changed to the homogeneous and dense one (microstructural evolution) with annealing heat treatment. Oxides near the interface of particles could be reduced by heat treatment especially in vacuum and argon environments. Vacuum environment during heat treatment was suggested to be most effective one to improve the densification and purification properties of cold sprayed Cu-15 at.%Ga coating material.

        염분분위기에서의 부식은 사용후핵연료의 중간저장 기간 동안 304 스테인레스 강재 건식저장용기의 주 열 화기구들 중 하나다. 본 연구에서는 감소정도가 서로 다른 냉연 304 스테인레스 강 시편들에 0.5wt.%의 염화 나트륨 연무를 분사시키면서 느린 변형속도시험(SSRT)과 중성염 분사시험(NSS)을 85℃와 200℃에서 수행하 였다. 85℃에서 2000 시간 동안 시험한 NSS시편의 무게 변화는 200℃에서 시험한 시편의 무게 변화와 크게 달 랐다. NSS 시편의 85℃에서 무게 감량은 미미하였지만, 냉연 감소율이 증가함에 따라서 무게 변화는 점진적으 로 감소하였다. 85℃와 200℃에서 그리고 염분분사 환경에서 가볍게 냉연 가공된 시편의 SSRT 시험으로부터얻은 항복강도와 극한 인장응력의 값은 공기 중의 값보다 약간 낮았다. 그러나 염분 분위기에서 부식으로 인 한 20% 감소 냉연시편의 강도는 더 이상 변화하지 않았다. 예비결과는 냉연 304 스테인레스 강의 질과 성능이 건식저장용기의 제작을 위한 조건에 맞는다는 것을 증명하였다. 그러나 냉연 스테인레스 강의 장기적인 성능 을 더 잘 이해하기 위해서는 염분분위기에서 이 재질의 부식거동에 관한 더 많은 연구가 필요하다.

        Negative temperature coefficient (NTC) materials have been widely studied for industrial applications, such assensors and temperature compensation devices. NTC thermistor thick films of Ni1+xMn2-xO4+δ (x=0.05, 0, −0.05) werefabricated on a glass substrate using the aerosol deposition method at room temperature. Resistance verse temperature (R-T)characteristics of the as-deposited films showed that the B constant ranged from 3900 to 4200 K between 25oC and 85oCwithout heat treatment. When the film was annealed at 600oC 1h, the resistivity of the film gradually decreased due tocrystallization and grain growth. The resistivity and the activation energy of films annealed at 600oC for 1 h were 5.203, 5.95,and 4.772KΩ·cm and 351, 326, and 299meV for Ni0.95Mn2.05O4+δ, NiMn2O4, and Ni1.05Mn1.95O4+δ, respectively. The annealingprocess induced insulating Mn2O3 in the Ni deficient Ni0.95Mn2.05O4+δ composition resulting in large resistivity and activationenergy. Meanwhile, excess Ni in Ni1.05Mn1.95O4+δ suppressed the abnormal grain growth and changed Mn3+ to Mn4+, givinglower resistivity and activation energy.

        In the middle of the 8th century, we met the new high-rise building, the 7th storied wooden pagodas in 'Kokubunji' in Japan. I tried to analyze and study this building to show how the wooden pagoda had changed itself because of appearance of new style. The conculusions are as follows; 1. The construction of the foundation was mainly composed namely 'Panchuk'. It was proceeded by two ways. One is the earthen-digging, laying foundations named 'Gulkwangpachuk' and the other is simply laying foundation named 'Jisangpanchuk'. In that period, due to the progress of the technique, we assumed that the main stream is 'Jisangpanchuk'. 2. The elevation of base was mostly the single foundaion from archaeological study. The material was stone. The middle case of pagoda had the base of tile-roofed. We knew the just one pagoda had the base of brick, but that was not main stream. 3. The new device had appeared in the central base stone. It was the stone point. But in that period the existing method, a hole style and the new style was used in the central base stone. This fact is showed that the central government was not hold the reigon(it names 'Kook') in the respect of the technique. 4. The plan scale is classified of 3 group. As a result, the first body is larger, the main-unit and the sub-unit is a equal unit. But smaller, the length of main-unit is longer than the one of sub-unit. And the very small pagoda was build in that period.

        한국원자력연구원 처분시스템개발과제에서는 처분용기 재료로 개발중인 저온분사코팅 구리에 대한 틈새부식(Crevice Corrosion) 시험을 실시하였다. 본 시험을 통하여 틈새에서의 부식의 발생여부와 발생되는 시점인 재부동태 전위(Repassivation Potential)를 측정하고자 하였다. 틈새부식 시험 방법으로 (1) ASTM G61-86 : Cyclic Potentiodynamic Polarization Measurements, (2) SWRI의 PotentiodynamicPolarization plus intermediate Potentiostatic Hold method, 그리고 (3) ASTM G192-08 (THE method) :Potentiodynamic- Galvanostatic -Potentiostatic Method 등의 3가지 방법을 소개하였다. 실제 저온분사코팅구리의 부식시험에서는 ASTM G61-86에 따라서 틈새부식장치를 설치하고, 저온분사 코팅구리가 KURT 지하수를 모사한 용액에서 어떻게 틈새부식이 일어나는지 살펴보았다. 전기적 부식조건으로는 Cyclic Polarization Test, Potentiostatic Polarization Test, 및 Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy등을 사용하였다. 그리고 부식이 된 시편에 대해 Profilometer Measurement를 통해 실제 부식표면의 높낮이를 조사하여 틈새부식 유무를 관찰하였다. 최종적인 결론에서는 저온분사코팅구리는 틈새부식을 나타나지 않는다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 시험에 사용된 세종류의 구리에 대한 상대적인 부식평가를 한 결과, 부식전위를 나타내는 개방회로(Open Cell)에서의 전위는 구리의 제조방식과 상관없이 구리의 순도가 높을수록 높은 값을 보이는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 결론적으로 KURT 심층지하수 조건에서는 구리는 틈새부식이 발생되지 않는다고 결론지었다.

        The aging characteristics of gas atomized Mg-6 wt.% Al-1 wt.% Zn alloy were investigated and compared to those of cast Mg-6 wt.% Al alloy. The gas atomized Mg-6 wt.% Al-1wt.% Zn alloy powders had spherical morphology between 1 and 100 in diameter. After compaction under the pressure of 700 MPa at for 10 min, the Mg-6 wt.% Al-1 wt.% Zn alloy showed a grain size of approximately 40 which is smaller than that of the cast Mg-6 wt.% Al alloy, and a relative compact density of approximately 93%. After ageing, the Mg-6 wt.% Al-1 wt.% Zn alloy showed much faster peak hardness than cast Mg-6 wt.% Al alloy. The Mg-6 wt.% Al-1 wt.% Zn alloy showed the new fine precipitations with ageing time, while the cast Mg-6 wt.% Al alloy was almost similar morphology.

        The goal of this study is to propose the effective method of investigating the injurious factors and making improved plans that prevents the workers against musculoskeletal disorders at an diesel engine manufacturing company and the same business field with similar working conditions and process. A questionnaire were adopted to analyze the symptoms of workers' musculoskeletal disorders, and an ergonomic assessment method such as RULA, OWAS were performed to find out harmful factors of workplace and working posture. Based on the result of the evaluation, to enhance the working environment, improvement of worktable, working space, tools, and outfit was suggested, and induction of mechanical system was also suggested. It can be concluded that the method and process described in this paper could be helpful for diagnosing the musculoskeletal disorders and making improvement plans to the diesel engine fuel injection system manufacturing company and the same business field with similar working conditions and process.
