It seems that macro-history has no relationship with family history at first glance. A close look at macro-history reveals that people in the micro-history are helplessly governed by macro-history regardless of their willingness. John Montague, a contemporary Northern Irish poet, has sought to investigate his tragic, painful familial history resulting from the macro-history of Northern Ireland which also turns out to be in predicament in political, religious, and educational terms. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, where his father had to be in exile because of his involvement in political activities in Ulster, Norther Ireland. Yet when Montague was quite young, he was sent to Garvaghey, Northern Ireland, his father's hometown. He was brought up there under the tutelage of his aunt. His early experience of separation from his parents has become the central theme of his poetry along with the political turmoil in Belfast. Thus, a number of his poems address his familial distress as well as his own. This essay seeks to examine how the poet recreates in his poems his painful experience involved in his family members, the victims of Northern Ireland's history. Many poems in Rough Field and Dead Kingdom are evaluated to be successful in terms of maintaining his temper even if they deal with painful matters of his family. As Montague himself reveals in his proses and interviews, his poetry seems to place its focus not only on praise but on liberation from his burdensome family history. To Montague, writing poetry is an inevitable means to overcome harsh realities given to his own family, himself and Northern Irish history. Particularly in his later poems, Montague arrives at reconciliation with the two corresponding histories he had to face.

본 연구에서는 고준위 방사성폐기물 심지층 처분시설의 규모 및 layout설정에 필요한 요소인 처분터널 및 처분공 간격에 대한 분석을 수행하였다. 이를 위하여, 기준 처분개념과 공학적 방벽 개념을 바탕으로 다양한 조건의 처분터널 및 처분공 단면을 설정하고, 단층 배치 및 복층 배치 개념 에 따른 처분동굴의 구조적, 열적 안정성을 분석하였다. 분석 결과를 바탕으로 설계에 있어서 주요한 고려인자 중의 하나인 굴착량을 감소시킬 수 있는 처분동굴 및 처분공 간격을 제안하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 심지층 처분시설 설계시 활용될 것이며, 향후, 부지에 대한 불확실성을 줄이기 위하여 정확한 부지특성 자료를 통한 상세한 분석이 필요하다.

본 연구에서는 콘크리트 포장에서 발생하는 소음을 저감시키기 위한 최적의 임의간격 횡방향 타이닝 설계 간격을 제안하였다. 기존 문헌조사를 바탕으로 소음 발생에 대한 원인을 규명하였고, LCG(linear congruential generators) 알고리즘 이론을 이용하여 특정 주파수에 집중되는 에너지를 효과적으로 분산시킬 수 있는 타이닝의 간격을 설계하였다. 실내 시뮬레이션 결과를 대구-포항 고속국도 현장에 적용하였고 기존 국내외에 적용된 임의간격 횡방향 타이닝 시공도 병행하여 실내 외 소음 및 교통소음을 비교하였다. 실내 외 소음 측정 결과, 피치 소음으로 인한 소음을 감소시킴으로써 임의간격 횡방향 타이닝 구간이 일반구간 보다 낮은 소음도를 보였으나, 그 효과가 크지 않았다. 교통 소음 측정에서도 전체적으로 일반 타이닝 구간에 비해 임의 간격 횡방향 타이닝 구간에서 더 큰 소음저감 효과를 확인할 수 있었으나, pass-by 소음 측정과는 다소 차이를 보였다.

줄눈 콘크리트포장에서 적정한 줄눈간격은 슬래브의 거동에 의해 발생하는 인장응력 줄눈채움재의 파손과 다웰바의 하중전달율(LTE)의 저하를 방지하여 도로포장의 장기 공용성 증가에 큰 영향을 미친다. 하지만 국내 줄눈간격은 경험적이고 획일적으로 이루어진다. 그러므로 본 연구는 국내 권역별 기후조건을 토대로 합리적인 줄눈간격 산정에 대한 방안을 제시하였다. 합리적인 줄눈간격은 초기거동에서 환경하중의 영향에 따른 건조수축과 수화열에 의해 무작위 균열 발생하지 않도록 산정하였다. 그리고 장기거동에서 줄눈폭의 과도한 움직임에 따른 LTE 저하로 인해 포장파손이 발생하지 않도록 줄눈간격을 산정하였다. 본 연구에서 산정된 줄눈간격 잠정안은 6~8m이며, 포장파손 예측 모델을 통해 줄눈간격을 8m로 증가시켜도 포장 공용성엔 큰 차이가 없었다.

Flour extraction was analyzed by milling different varieties of wheat with different gaps of break rolls of Buhler automatic laboratory mill MLU-202. Straight flour extraction increased with decrease in the roll gap, which was mainly due to increase in break-related flour extraction, especially the flour from the first break roll. Farina extraction also increased with decrease in the roll gap, which contained a large amount of shorts and relatively small amount of flour. Straight flour extraction of wheat with larger kernel diameter was higher, but their correlation was not significant. Meanwhile, the kernel hardness showed significant (-) correlation with the flour extraction and (+) correlation with the shorts extraction. Consequently, the effect of the break roll gap was significant on the flour extraction, and the kernel hardness influenced the flour extraction more than the kernel diameter.

In this paper, we present a temporal association rules based on item time intervals. A temporal association rules is an association rule that holds specific time intervals. If we consider itemset in the frequently purchased period, we can discovery more significant itemset satisfying minimum support. Because the previous study did not consider the time interval between purchased item, it could find itemset that did not satisfy the minimum support in case some item was frequently purchased in a specific period and rarely or not purchased in other period. Our approach use interval support which is counted by period with support and confidence in the association rule to discovery large itemset.
