        GFRP(Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer Plastic) has a superior corrosion resistance, high specific strength/stiffness, etc. Therefore, such properties can be used to mitigate the problems associated with the use of conventional construction materials. In this study, the various rib and pitch distance of hybrid fiber GFRP bars were evaluated by experimental method. From the test result, thirty two types of FRP hybrid bars such as spiral type with the dimension of rib geometry were fabricated. To evaluate the bond properties of them, direct pull-out test was performed. All testing procedures including specimen preparation, set-up of test equipment and measuring devices were made in accordance with the recommendations of ASTM D 7913. From the test results, it was found that cross type hybrid GFRP reinforcing bars showed the highest bond strength than that of the others due to the higher relative rib area.

        Structures of steel frame buildings getting vary depending on the development of construction technology. Fire-resistant steel beams and Columns accredited by accreditation bodies from the performance of various fire-resistant coating is applied to the current pillar method is most H-beams. H-beam has been proposed a non-load test specifications in the relevant regulations, its scope of accreditation to be granted without limitation of size H-beams from the performance of the test specification. However, in the case of the rectangular steel structure is to check its performance and to a separate one of the receive acknowledge and so take advantage of the cross-sectional shape factor in this study to test the performance of the fire-resistant structure proposed for standard test specimen.

        This report offers an economically reasonable seismic reinforcement to non-seismic mid/low reinforced concrete structures. Installed a slit in between the reinforced concrete frame and masonry infilled wall then inserted twist bar to prevent inversion and attached to the lower/upper beam. Confirmed the seismic reinforcement effect through static loading test. Total of 4 specimens were produced for the test, a masonry infilled wall without seismic reinforcement and with seismic slit or twist bar applied. As a result, applying the seismic slit and twisted bar was economically reasonable and seismic reinforcement effect was confirmed by showing stable failure, increase of maximum strength and yield displacement, increase of accumulated energy dissipation.

        Flexural capacity of a Textile Reinforced Mortar(TRM) was investigated by an experimental study. The test program was accomplished on reinforced concrete(RC) slabs consisted of concrete(average compressive strength of 22.23 MPa) and rebar(strength class of SD400). RC slab had 450 mm and 150 mm in size and 2,600 mm in clear span. Strengthening was accomplished by applying carbon-fiber mesh in layers of mortar. Control slab(unstrengthened) and six slabs strengthened with TRM were fabricated to confirm the reinforcing performance in this study. Test variables considered amount of reinforcement and use of anchorage. As a results, it was validated that the flexural capacity of slabs strengthened with TRM increased from 159.9% to 285.2% according to the amount of TRM compared with unstrengthened slab. Experimental results indicated that there are increase in ductility as well as load carrying and deformation capacities when using multiple layers of textile.

        Two types of connection between the abutment and CFT pile were proposed for the sub-structure of the integral abutment bridge. One was a bolt connection (Type-A) and the other was a hook connection (Type-B). To analyze the performance of connection Type-A and Type-B, a quasi-static experiment was carried out. According to experimental results, the destruction occurred at the connection point and so both type A and type B need to have a reinforced design as the link between the abutment and CFT pile. However, when the load resistance performance and energy dissipation capacity was analyzed, the performance of connection Type-B was superior to the performance of connection Type-A.

        The Membrane structure has a number of problems in the application of a fireproof code based on general buildings codes. Thus, the fireproof code of membrane structure is necessary to activate the construction of the membrane structure. Because it requires a systematic classification of fire retardant and flame proof performance of membrane material. Fire retardant and flame proof tests are conducted on membrane materials mostly used in current construction to propose the fire and flame retardant performance criteria of membrane materials. Fire and flame retardant tests results, PTFE membrane material with the glass fiber fabric have a limit-combustible performance. PVDF membrane material with the polyester fabric does not ensure the fire retardant performance, but this membrane material has the flame retardant performance of a thick fabric. Also, ETFE does not ensure the fire retardant performance, but this membrane material has the flame retardant of a thin fabric.

        This study was to investigate the firing method of limestone in Joseon Dynasty, and analyze the physical·chemical properties of lime mortars in Joseon Dynasty. This study was to manufacture and evaluate the firing experiment and mortar of Limestone by each sort in order to reproduce the traditional lime mortars in Joseon Dynasty, and investigate the behavior to improve physical properties according to the firing method of Limestone. This study has found out that there were screening criteria and standard of appropriate firing temperature about the Limestone in Joseon Dynasty. Accordingly, this study was to improve its strength through various additives and mixture. In particular, in case of Limestone, the black and blue Limestone were preferred, and most of domestic Limestones were low grade Limestone including the clay and took ivory white or blue with low whiteness. This study has shown that the low grade Limestone was mined by the surface mining compared with the high grade Limestone as underground mining method, and could be used because it was easy to mine relatively and there was possibility that Natural Hydraulic Lime(NHL) was used with the traditional lime mortars in Joseon Dynasty.

        Cap decks used in slim floor system for reducing floor height act as molds for forming floor slabs in structures with a span of up to 6m without temporary supports. When deep decks are employed in a structure with a span of more than 6m, the problem of defection occurs. This study suggests placing tendons at the ends of cap decks in order to create cambers and control defection when preload is applied. Uniformly distributed load was applied by an UTM to the two L/4 points of specimens to observe the deflection of preloaded cap decks. For the test, three 7.5m specimens were fabricated. One of them was a plain cap deck specimen and the others were those with tendons (PC strands or steel bars.

        These days, the Composite Slabs with Deep Deck plate was commonly used in domestic construction site, and, the application of the Slim Floor system was increased from the Enlargement and High-rise Building. But, Slim Floor system using the Deep Deck was shown safety problem caused by the deflection and local buckling in construction phase when used to more than 6m. Therefore, for solving the problem, the installation of the shores is essential. This study is realize the long span slab without shores from control the deflection through applied the pre-tensioning elements in CAP deck. In addition, by applying the pre-tensioning member as the tensile member of the CAP Deck slab, the pre-tensioning member for the shores tries to be used as the structural member. Accordingly, to determine the flexural performance of the CAP Deck slab through the pre-tensioning force in tensile member, and, the composite effect of the CAP Deck slab by the experiments.

        투수블록은 일반 콘크리트 블록과 다르게 블록 표면 전체에서 물을 투과시키는 블록 또는 특정 위치에서 물을 투과시키는 블록으로 정의된다. 국내 대부분의 도시지역은 불투수성 재료로 포장된 면적의 증가로 인하 여 빗물이 침투될 수 있는 공간이 줄어들고 이로 인해 빗물이 지표로 흡수되지 않아 좁은 우수관으로 빗물이 넘쳐 차량통행에 지장을 주는 한편 도심지 수해발생 증가 및 지하수 고갈의 문제가 발생하고 있다. 미국,일 본 등 국외에서는 수 십 년 전부터 투수성포장이 도입되어 도심 환경을 개선시키는데 일조하고 있다. 최근 국내에서도 투수성 블록이 가진 다양한 장점(도시홍수 예방, 열섬현상 완화, 지하수 함양, 지하생태 보전 등) 이 대두되면서 그 수요가 크게 증가하고 있지만 공용기간에 따른 투수성능 지속성 등에 대한 특성 분석 및 연구가 미진한 상태이다. 2013년「서울시 투수블록포장 설계, 시공 및 유지관리 기준(Ver 2.0)」에서는 차도 용 및 보도용 블록에 대하여 자체투수블록의 경우 보도용 휨강도 4 (MPa) 이상 및 압축강도 16 (MPa) 이상, 차도용 휨강도 5 (MPa) 이상 및 압축강도 20 (MPa) 이상 그리고 틈새투수블록의 경우 보차도용 휨강도 5 (MPa) 이상 및 압축강도 20 (MPa) 이상을 기준으로 하고 있다. 또한 모든 투수블록의 투수계수는 0.1 (mm/sec) 이상을 기준으로 현장에 적용 평가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 투수블록의 용도에 따라 현장 에 시공된 보도용・차도용 투수블록의 공용기간에 따른 현장투수성능 지속성을 평가하여 보차도용 투수블록 의 공극막힘 현상, 투수성능 변화 등 보도용 및 차도용 투수블록의 수명예측자료를 확보하고자 하였다. 보차도용 투수블록 투수성 수명예측자료를 통해 투수성능 유지시점을 도출하고 현장에 적용된 투수블 록의 기능을 초기상태로 유지하며 그 고유의 기능이 저하됨이 없이 유지될 수 있기 위한 방안을 검토하고 자 하였다. 또한 현장시험을 통하여 각각의 환경조건인 유동인구 및 가로수 유무, 차량통행 등 환경적인 요인으로 인한 공극막힘현상의 분석을 통해 지속성 검증시험의 효과를 분석하고 초기 투수성능과 공용이 후의 투수성능의 상관성을 분석하였다.

        Earthquakes is impossible to predict and occur within very little or no warning. They cause significant damage to property and inflict large human casualties. Seismic retrofit for non-seismic design RC frame has been studied over the years. Although there are many seismic retrofit methods, the seismic retrofit methods are increased weight and physical damage to structures. This study evaluates the seismic performance of RC frame retrofitted with velcro. The specimens were made scale down of actual steel structures, and displacement loads were applied in the trasnverse direction.

        It has been many efforts for reinforcement of existing structure since the number of earthquake has been increased world widely. Especially the occurrence of earthquake surrounding area of Korean peninsular is dramatically increased. Since the buildings in Korea have not been designed to carry the lateral and shear force caused by earthquake, the building will experience massive damages even under moderate earthquake. For this reason, the viscoelastic damper is proposed in this paper to enhance the earthquake resistance of a steel frame buildings. The viscoelastic dampers have been able to increase the overall damping of the structure significantly, hence improving the overall performance of dynamically sensitive structures. In this paper, Viscoelastic dampers designed are consists of FRP panel and viscoelastic material. In this paper, evaluate the performance of the viscoelastic damper through the experiment.

        PURPOSES: This study aims to develop a repair material that can enhance pavement performance, inducing rapid traffic opening through early strength development and fast setting time by utilizing MgO-based patching materials for repairing road pavements. METHODS : To consider the applicability of MgO-based patching materials for repairing domestic road pavements, first, strength development and setting time of the materials were evaluated, based on MgO to KH2PO4 ratio, water to binder ratio, and addition ratio of retarder (Borax), by which the optimal mixture ratio of the developed material was obtained. To validate the performance of the developed material as a repair material, the strength(compressive strength and bonding strength) and durability (freezing, thawing, and chloride ion penetration resistance) was checked through testing, and its applicability was evaluated. RESULTS : The results showed that when an MgO-based patching material was used, the condensation time was reduced by 80%, and the compressive strength was enhanced by approximately 300%, as compared to existing cement-based repair materials. In addition, it was observed that the strength (compressive strength and bonding strength) and durability (freezing and thawing, and chloride ion penetration resistance) showed an excellent performance that satisfied the regulations. CONCLUSIONS : The results imply that an emergent repair/restoration could be covered by a rapid-hardening cement to meet the traffic limitation (i.e. the traffic restriction is only several hours for repair treatment). Furthermore, MgO-based patching materials can improve bonding strength and durability compared to existing repair materials.

        In this study, the seismic performance of connections between filled composite beam (CG beams) and forming angle composite (FAC) column was experimentally evaluated. First, the bending tests were conducted on two CG beams and the axial tests were conducted on two FAC columns. Then, based on these preliminary test results, the cyclic loading test were performed on two interior connections between CG beam and FAC column. The main difference of two specimens is the plate shape of the CG beam. The test results showed that both specimens achieved the maximum story drift capacity over 0.04 radian which is required for special moment frame.

        본 연구에서는 인천공항 제2계류장 관제소에 설치될 예정인 AMD에 선형제어알고리즘인 속도피드백 알고리즘을 적용하여 제어효율 및 안전성을 평가하였다. 공장성능시험 결과와 수치해석 프로그램의 해석결과를 비교하여 AMD가 설계의도대로 제어를 수행하는지 여부를 분석하였다. 또한 제어알고리즘에 의한 순수제어력에 추가되는 게인스케줄링과 원점보정신호가 제어력에 미치는 영향을 실험을 통해 확인하였다. AMD의 성능시험 결과 게인스케줄링과 원점보정신호는 제어효율에 큰 영향을 미치지 않음을 확인하였으며, 구조물에 큰 외력이 작용하는 경우에 발생하는 AMD 질량체의 과도한 이동으로 인해 구조물에 손상을 입힐 수 있는 문제에 대한 안전성을 검증하였다. 추가적으로 제어효율지수를 도입하여 AMD의 제어 상태를 모니터링한 결과, 적용된 알고리즘이 효과적으로 구조물을 제어함을 확인하였다.

        본 연구에서는 전도성 직물을 기반으로 동작 센서로 구현하여 팔의 굽힘, 폄 동작에 따른 센서의 전기저항의 변화 를 측정, 분석함으로써 관절 동작을 효과적으로 측정 할 수 있는 직물 센서의 요건을 탐색하였다. 이를 위해 두 가지 편직물인 ‘L’직물과 ‘W'직물 양면에 Single Wall Carbon Nano-Tube(SWCNT) 코팅을 한 후 이를 다양한 형태로 후가 공하여 직물 센서를 개발하고 암 밴드에 부착하였다. 직물 센서는 코팅용 바탕 직물의 종류(2가지), 센서의 부착 방법 (2가지), 센서의 layer 수(2가지), 센서의 길이(3가지), 센서의 너비(2가지)의 총 48개로 구성되었다. Con-Trex MJ에 48개의 암 밴드를 입힌 인체 모형 팔을 대상으로 직물 동작 센서의 성능을 평가하였다. 인체 모형 팔에 입혀진 총 48개의 암 밴드 각각에 대해서 frequency: 0.5Hz, ROM: 20°~120° 에서 굽힘과 폄 동작을 반복하도록 조정하였고, 48개 각 사례 당 세 세트(set)씩 반복 측정한 전압값을 기록하였다. 전압값을 peak-to-peak voltage(Vp-p)의 base line 의 균일성, 동일 세트 내 Vp-p의 균일성, 세 세트 간의 Vp-p의 균일성을 기준으로 평가하고 분석한 결과, SWCNT 코팅된 ‘L’ 직물을 두 겹으로 구성하여 열고정 방식으로 부착한 50×5㎜, 50×10㎜, 100×10㎜ 크기의 직물 센서와, SWCNT 코팅된 ‘W’ 직물을 두 겹으로 구성하고 열고정 방식으로 부착한 50×10㎜ 크기의 직물 센서가 전체 변화율 5%이내의 가장 균일하고 안정적인 신호값을 나타내었다. 이상의 연구 결과를 통해 SWCNT 코팅 소재를 다양한 형태 로 가공해 직물 센서로 구현했을 때 인체의 사지 동작을 측정할 수 있는 센서로서 적합함을 확인하였고, 최적의 센서 형태를 규명하였다.

        도로의 악영향 및 악천후로 인해 교통사고 유발, 도로변 민원 등이 다수 발생하고 있다. 악영향 및 악 천후 요인별로 보면 기상상태 악화(폭우, 폭설, 안개 등)로 인한 교통사고는 1.4% 증가하였고, 치사율도 약 3배 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 도로교통소음으로 인한 사회적 비용은 연간 34조원(2012년)으로 2005년 대비 44% 증가하였고, 민원 발생 42,000건(2009년 기준)으로 인한 사회적 손실도 증가되고 있는 실정이 나, 실질적인 소음저감 혹은 소음 측정을 위한 정량적 실험시설은 부족한 현실이다. 야간 교통량이 전체 교통량 중 차지하는 비율은 약 30% 정도임에도 불구하고 야간 사고 발생건수의 48.5%, 사망자수의 53.5%를 차지하고 있어('11년 기준), 야간 교통량 비중 감안 시 주간대비 위험도 3배에 달하나 실규모 실 증실험은 거의 전무하다. 이와 같이 도로의 악영향 및 악천후에 의한 피해는 심각한 사고 또는 피해를 입히는 것으로 나타났으 며, 이를 예방하기 위한 관련된 연구 및 기술 개발이 진행되고는 있으나 산발적이며 실증실험 등이 없어 과학적인 효과 입증이 어려운 상황이다. 한국건설기술연구원에서는 이러한 사회적 문제로 대두되고 있는 교통사고 등을 근본적으로 해결하고, 국가 기준을 재검토하여 적정 기준을 정립하기 위하여, 기상환경 재현 도로 성능평가 실험시설을 유치하 여 국토교통부 국토교통기술촉진연구사업으로 경기도 연천에 구축중에 있다. 각 실험시설의 목표 사양은 표 1과 같다. 향후 실험시설 구축뿐만 아니라 실험시설 운영계획, 연구 활용계획 및 활성화방안을 수집하여 관련 연구, 성능평가 ․ 인증 사업에 활용할 경우 국내 도로 안전 및 시설 성능 수준이 한층 높아질 것으로 기대된다.
