        이 연구의 목적은 고등학생들의 광물과 암석에 대한 개념 이해의 특징을 알아보는 것이다. 연구 목적을 위하여, 광물과 암석에 대한 개념 질문지를 개발하였다 질문지는 4개의 영역으로 총 12문제로 구성되어 있었다. 고등학교 10학년 학생 93명, 11학년 학생 119명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료의 분석을 통해 고등학생들의 광물과 암석에 대한 이해 수준 및 특징은 다음과 같이 나타났다. 전체적으로 고등학생들은 절반정도의 이해 수준을 보였으며, 10학년 학생은 화성암 영역에서, 11학년 학생들은 암석 영역에서 평균보다 약간 낮은 이해 수준을 보였으나, 광물의 녹는점과 관련된 특정 개념에서 매우 낮은 이해를 나타냈다. 둘째, 10학년과 11학년 학생의 이해수준은 대체로 비슷하여 과학적 개념 형성 비율이 유사함을 나타냈으나, 몇몇 문항에 대해서는 학년이 올라감에 따라 과학적 개념 형성 비율이 증가한 경우도 있었다. 그러나 학년이 올라갔음에도 통계적으로 유의하지는 않았지만, 현무암의 표면적 특징을 묻는 문항에서 오히려 비과학적 개념의 빈도가 줄어들지 않고 늘어나는 경향을 보인 것도 있었다. 셋째, 학생들의 과학적 개념 형성에 지구과학 교과에서 배운 개념뿐만 아니라 주변 과학교과에서 배운 개념이 광물과 암석 개념 형성에 도움을 준 것도 있었지만 오히려 방해된 것도 있었다. 이 결과를 통해 학생들에게 지구과학 교과에서 사용되는 특징적인 용어들에 대한 교육을 할 경우 타 교과에서 사용되는 의미와는 별도로 이해되어야 한다는 것을 염두에 두고 가르칠 필요성이 제시되었다.

        본 연구는 암석, 지각, 판구조론 그리고 지구 내부에 대하여 학생들이 어떠한 대안 개념을 가지고 있으며 이해 수준을 보이고 있는지 분석한 것이다. 이를 위하여 설문과 드로잉 과제를 이용하였으며, 아울러 다양한 질문안을 통하여 면담을 병행하여 실시하였다. 연구는 고등학교 1학년 158명의 학생들을 대상으로 진행되었다. 결과에서 학생들은 연구 영역에 대하여 많은 대안 개념을 지니고 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 주요 대안 개념들은 암석의 정의와 생성 과정에 대한 이해, 대륙 지각과 해양 지각의 지형적 성분상의 구분, 해양 지각의 생성과 소멸과정에 대한 이해, 판과 대륙의 이동 여부와 원인, 화산 지진 활동의 발생 원인과 장소 등에 관련된 내용들에서 나타났다. 그리고 드로잉에서 분석된 대안 개념은 핵과 맨틀의 상태를 포함한 지구 내부의 물리·화학적 특성의 구분에서 나타났다.

        In general, it is fact that most educational institutions have lots of problems about shift of education facility and equipment because of insufficient budget. However, most high school girls live a lot of period in the school and most of them wear student uniform. Thus, it is necessary that educational environment has to be improved by actual body size of high school girls. The main objective of this study is to provide numerical guideline for the improvement of educational environment about high school girls (17~19 years) through comparison and analysis on physical standard of nation (report published in 1997). The sample for this work chosen from data which were collected and measured by Size Korea during two years (2003~2004). In order to analyze feature of the somatotype of high school girls, analysis was performed about 734 subjects on 25 body parts such as height (7 parts), width (4 parts), thickness (4 parts), circumference (5 parts), length (4 parts) and body weight. For the specific comparison on somatotype, Rohrer index and Mollison's comparison graph were used. The result of this study can be utilized in various fields such as design of classroom, student uniforms, facilities and equipments for education, etc.

        The purpose of this study is to collect and analyze their opinions to found solutions for reducing safety accidents since it is important to educate the students to recognize the importance of safety. We surveyed 350 students from mechanical and metal engineering departments of an engineering high school located in Seoul, and divided them in two categories and asked them about prevention of safety accidents in laboratories. It is found that further directions and educations are needed for the students as to emergency measures in case of safety accidents. Safety education before laboratory classes is crucial, helpful and effective for prevention of safety accidents. Facility factors that further education is needed for students who don't experiments in orderly manner.

        The main objective of this study is to suggest the new sizing system proper to the boys in the high school students by classifying their somatotype for the development of educational environment and uniform. The sample for this work was chosen from data which were collected and measured by Size Korea during two years (2003~2004). In order to analyze feature of the somatotype of boys in the high school students, analysis was performed about 479 subjects on 37 body parts such as height (9 parts), width (5 parts), thickness (6 parts), circumference (7 parts), length (8 parts), body weight and Rohrer Index. The result of this study can be utilized in various fields such as design of classroom, student uniforms, facilities and equipments for education at high school and university, etc.

        이 연구는 고등학교 지구과학 탐구활동에서 2가지 수업유형에 따라 나타나는 학생들의 반성적 탐구의 특징을 알아봄으로써 수업의 맥락에서 학생들의 반성적 탐구의 실제를 이해하고, 탐구활동 수업에서 반성적 탐구를 촉진하기 위한 시사점을 얻고자 하였다. 기존의 탐구활동수업과 본 연구에서 개발한 반성적 탐구활동수업에서 반성적 탐구의 차이를 조사한 결과 반성적 탐구를 촉진하기 위해 개발된 반성적 탐구활동수업은 자료맥락의 다양한 요소와 연결된 반성적 탐구진술이 많아, 반성적 탐구의 양적 및 다양성의 측면에서 학생들의 반성적 탐구에 긍정적인 효과가 있었다. 이러한 결과로부터 학생들의 반성적 탐구를 활성화시키는 탐구활동 수업개발의 시사점을 얻을 수 있었다.

        This study examined the relation between sports involvement and delinquency of youth, showed the role and benefits of participation in sports and provided data for establishing sports activity programs to lessen delinquency. Sports involvement was classified into behavioral, affective and cognitive involvement and delinquency into public order, property, position, relationship and seclusion to examine the level of Participation in Sports and delinquency according to demographical variables and to what extent Participation in Sports may influence in deterring delinquency. Research was conducted on 602 urban and rural middle school and high school students, and questionnaire survey from papers (Koo, Changmo(1991), Kwon, Soonyong(1992), Ryu Inwon(2003), Oh, Yonghwan(1998), Lee,Yongsoon(2002)) were referred to and modified for the purpose of this study. Collected data was computerized through SPSS program by One-way Anova and Multiple Regression Analysis to draw the following results. First, from the demographical aspect of sports involvement definitional aspect showed the highest involvement followed by cognitive and active aspects. In detail, boys than girls, junior-high than high schools, and urban than rural residents demonstrated greater participation in sports. Upper class students had higher level of involvement than in middle or low class, and students with parents who supported sports participation were more likely to be involved in sports than those without. Most number of students participated in sports whose parents had administrative occupation and least of those with specialized professions. Second, from the demographical aspect delinquency of position showed the highest level followed by that of public order, relationship, seclusion, and property. Boys showed higher level of delinquency especially in public order and position level. Compared to junior-high students high school students showed higher level of delinquency in all aspects, and rural residents appeared to be more delinquent than urban residents. The lower the living standard gets, the more it was likely for the students to be delinquent. Students with parents who opposed to sports involvement showed higher level of delinquency than students with those who agreed, and greatest level of delinquency showed on the students whose parents were unemployed and lowest level on the students whose parents had administrative occupation. Third, affective involvement aspect of participation in sports with mostly favorable effects had greatest influences on delinquency level bringing self-esteem for the youth, then followed the behavioral involvement and cognitive involvement. In detail, delinquencies of public order, position, property and seclusion were influenced mostly by affective involvement followed by the behavioral involvement and least by cognitive involvement. Whereas delinquency of relationship was mostly influenced by affective involvement followed by cognitive involvement and least by behavioral involvement. Collective results show that demographical aspects and participation in sports have influences on the delinquency level and that participation in sports plays an important role in deterring and lessen delinquency.

        This study was performed by questionnaire to investigate the preference and satisfaction on the menu of school foodservice of high school students. This study aims at providing useful information to establish subdivided menu developing direction. The subjects were consisted of 637 high school students(435 males and 202 females, 5 direct type schools and 5 trust type schools) in Gyeongju area. The results of this study were: The preferred school foodservice menu of subjects was 'seasoned roast chicken', 'steamed pork rib', 'beef rib soup', 'yogurt', 'sandwiches', 'boiled rice with assorted mixtures', 'boiled rice', 'watermelon', 'spaghetti' in that other. On the other hand, the preference for 'spinach soybean soup', 'steamed Mideodeok', 'boiled lotus root', 'roasted sweetpotato stalk', 'chopped and seasoned cucumber' was very low. Males favoured rice and meats, while females liked better noodles and vegetables. Direct type foodservice students' preference scores were higher than those of type foodservice students in side dish menu categories. The preferred and satisfied menu of subjects was meats and sweet foods, and but the preference and satisfaction for vegetables and tough foods was very low.

        The purpose of this study were to investigate middle and high school students' food habits and food attitudes, and to assess student's nutrient consumption. A self-administered questionnaire was developed based on review of literature. The questionnaire consisted of three sections (food habits, food attitudes, and food consumption). The questionnaires were distributed to 4,050 students enrolled in 34 middle and high schools located in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Gyeongnam provinces. A final response rate was 88.2% (3,570) excluding responses that had significant missing data. Data of the food habits and food attitudes were analyzed with descriptive analysis, 2-test, and t-test using SPSS WIN(ver.11.0). The student's self-reported food consumption data was converted into nutrient consumption using conversion factor. Many middle and high school students skipped breakfast and/or dinner. Approximately 29% of the students did not eat vegetables and fruits. Scores of the middle school student's attitudes(19.1) towards foods were significantly higher than those of the high school student's attitudes(18.7)(p〈.001). Student's nutrient intakes were estimated according to the student's self-reported food consumption data. The nutrient intakes were compared with DRIs(Dietary Reference Intakes: DRIs) for their age groups. The result of EAR(Estimated Average Requirement: EAR) cut-point method demonstrated 57.7% of middle school boys, 64.4% of middle school girls, 70.2% of high school boys, and 71.0% of high school girls did not meet EAR for Calcium. Additionally, it showed that 39.0% of middle school boys, 23.7% of middle school girls, 58.4% of high school boys, and 24.4% of high school girls did not consume EAR for Vitamin B1. 25.7% of middle school boys did not meet EAR for Vitamin B2, while 44.4% high school boys did not satisfy EAR for Vitamin B2.

        이 연구는 달의 위상 작도 모듈을 활용한 수업이 고등학생들의 달의 위상 개념 변화에 미치는 효과를 살펴보고자 한 것이다. 이를 위하여 고등학교 2학년 46명을 대상으로 달의 위상 작도 모듈을 활용한 수업을 실시하여 학습자의 인지구조 내에서 일어나는 개념 변화를 면담을 통하여 살펴보았으며, 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 수업 전에 학생들이 가지고 있는 달의 위상 개념에 대한 오개념 유형은 지구의 그림자가 달을 가린다는 S 유형, 위치 관계에 따라 지구의 그림자가 달을 가린다거나 관측자가 햇빛을 반사하는 달의 부분을 보기 때문이라는 과학 개념을 함께 가지는 SR 유형, 위치 관계에 따라 지구의 그림자가 달을 가리거나 주위 배경의 밝기에 따라 보이기도 하고 보이지 않을 수도 있다는 SB 유형, 지금까지 언급한 모든 경우로써 각 위치의 달의 위상을 설명하는 SRB 유형이 있었다. 모듈을 활용한 수업을 실시한 결과로는 수업 전 오개념을 가지고 있던 36명 중 26명이 과학 개념을 형성한 반면, 수업 후에도 과학 개념을 형성하지 못한 학생이 10명이었다. S 유형 11명 중 7명이, SR 유형 17명 중 3명이 과학 개념을 형성하지 못하였다. 특히 S 유형의 학생들은 지구의 그림자에 의해 달의 위상이 변할 것이라는 기존 개념을 쉽게 바꾸지 못하였는데, 이는 그들의 선개념이 너무 견고하였거나, 제공한 모듈에서 제시하는 위상 결정 방법이 그 학생들에게는 선개념 체계보다 문제 해결에 있어 보다 유익하지 않았기 때문으로 생각된다. 이로부터 학생들의 선개념은 수업에 의해 쉽게 과학 개념으로 변화되지 않는다는 것을 알 수 있다.

        본 연구는 한국산업안전공단에서 구축한 종합위험관리체제(IRMS)의 추진경과, 운영조직체계, IRMS 효과, 개선사항 및 향후 발전방향 등 IRMS 사업의 전 분야를 재검토하여 문제점에 대한 개선방안과 중 장기 발전방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 IRMS가 구축된 PSM 사업장에 대하여 설문조사를 실시하여 IRMS 효과를 분석하여 문제점을 도출하고, 이를 바탕으로 교육, 조직, 정보공유, 전산화, 기타 부문에서 개선방안을 제시하였다. 또한 선진국의 안전관리 실태를 전망하고, 이를 통하여 IRMS 중 장기 발전방안 수립을 위한 추진방향을 제시하였다.

        This study aims at investigating Korean high school students’ reading and writing relations in English with a focus on analysis of effects of reading journal writing which integrates reading and writing. Three groups (reading, writing, reading journal writing) had different treatments for 8 weeks. The results revealed that the reading journal writing group had the highest post-test writing scores compared with the two other groups. This group’s scores were statistically significant different from the reading group’s. The same results were also found in the higher-level group. As for the lower-level group, however, the scores of the writing group were highest. These results support the bidirectional hypothesis with a special emphasis on the interaction of reading and writing. The higher-level and the lower-level reading journal writing group had the highest post-test reading scores; however, no statistical significance was noted among the three groups. The results of the reading test do not seem to be clearly related to any hypothesis of reading-writing relations. The results of the questionnaire survey and interview and of the analysis of reading journal suggest that effects of reading journal writing can vary with reading texts and learners’ language proficiency level.
