        원자력발전소의 가동은 방사성폐기물을 발생시키고 있으며, 다른 산업폐기물과는 달리 방사능을 포함하고 있는 방사성폐기물은 처리에 오랜 시간이 걸린다. 방사성폐기물의 관리 및 처분의 주된 목적은 인간과 환경을 보호하는 것이므로, 이를 위하여 방사성폐기물의 처분은 완전히 격리된 영구적인 처분장을 필요로 한다. 이에 따라 우리나라는 단계별 발생하는 방사성폐기물의 안전한 처리를 위해 2015년 8월 28일 경북 경주시에 중·저준위 방사성폐기물을 처분할 수 있는 방사성폐기물 처분장을 준공하였다. 이 과정에서 방사성폐기물은 전용운송선박인 청정누리호를 통해 해상운송되고 있으나, 이와 관련된 법적 및 물리적 안전성을 확보하고 있지 못하여 시급한 대처가 필요한 상황이다. 이에 이 논문에서는 현 상황을 검토하고 방사성폐기물의 안전한 해상운송을 위한 선박입출항법상의 안전성 확보방안을 입법론적으로 제시하고자 한다.

        대부분의 온실가스는 에너지의 생성 및 이용으로부터 발생되고, 교통부문에서 배출되는 온실가스 중 약 95 % 이상이 수송용 연료에서 기인한다. 또한, IPCC 가이드라인에서 제시하는 배출계수를 사용하였을 경우 국가 고유의 연료특성이 반영되지 않는 단점이 있고, 기후변화협약 교토의정서에 따른 의무 감축국도 UN에 제출하는 국가 온실가스 배출량 보고서 작성 시 대부분 Tier 2나 Tier 3 수준의 배출계수를 적용하고 있 다. 본 연구에서는 국내 교통부문에 사용되는 휘발유, 경유 등의 수송용 연료에 대한 연차별 시계열 특성을 파 악하고, CO2 배출계수의 연도별 변화추이를 분석하여 실제 연료를 활용한 CO2배출계수 실측방법의 적용 타 당성을 평가하였다.

        OBJECTIVES: Currently, the market for carbon emissions trading has been increasing. In Korea, it is known that traffic mode rate in bike transportation is low. However, if bike transportation system is encouraged and the traffic mode rate is increased, it would be possible to reduce carbon emissions through the trading market. In this study, a practical policy to activate the bike transportation system in Korea will be proposed and verified. METHODS: Past studies regarding bike transportation system in international and domestic metropolitan cities were analyzed. Moreover, detailed reviews on recent carbon emissions trading market were performed. In particular, SWOT analysis on the bike transportation system in Korea and policy topology analysis were conducted. RESULTS: Based on the literature reviews and SWOT analysis, a new bike transportation policy was proposed. Several actual plans to adopt in Korea were proposed. In addition, a new bike transportation policy was analyzed using policy typology model, and a business model related to the cost of implementing the system and CERs were also proposed. CONCLUSIONS : It is concluded that the proposed bike transportation activation policy and several practical plans to connect CERs and a business model including bus, subway, T-money and bike riders to give some incentive were effective and reasonable. It is desired that this study will help Korea to get CERs through bike transportation activation in the future.

        경주 중·저준위 방사성폐기물 처분시설의 운영에 따라, 한국원자력연구원(대전)에 임시보관 중인 방사성동위원소폐기물 을 처분시설로 육상운반하였다. 본 연구에서는 방사성동위원소폐기물의 국내육상운반에 따른 작업자 및 일반인에 대한 방 사선 피폭선량을 평가하고 그 결과를 국내 방사선피폭 법적제한치와 비교하였다. 또한 방사성폐기물의 상하차 작업 시 작업 자와 드럼 간 거리 및 방사성핵종 누출율의 변화에 따른 예상피폭선량의 민감도를 분석하였다. 정상 및 사고조건에서의 예 상피폭선량은 국내 법적제한치를 충분히 만족하였음을 확인하였다.

        Luxury consumers are highly social online, and with approximately 80 percent of luxury shoppers using social media on a monthly basis (Mckinsey & Company, 2015), the experience luxury brands provide on social networking services (SNS) becomes imperative. Interaction through social streams is about building a relationship with people who may continue to use the luxury product for the next 25 years (The Guardian, 2015). Hence, from magazines to smartphones, luxury brands are seeking new opportunities to communicate with their customers. Brands such as Burberry and Gucci are becoming increasingly active by uploading visuals, narratives, and films that represent their brand, and others are slowly following suit. Although various contents are now being posted online, when it comes to luxury brands, what separates them from others is the rich and unique brand heritage (LinkedIn, 2015; Mckinsey & Company, 2015). Despite this strength, it is a not implemented effectively as a strategy (The Guardian, 2015). In this study, we want to emphasize the need for luxury brands to go digital and to spread their brand stories as a form of advertisement. Stories in advertising and their effects on consumer behavior has been dealt by previous research (Deighton, Romer, & Mcqueen, 1989; Escalas, 2007; Escalas, 2004; Wang & Calder, 2006). Deighton, Romer, and Mcqueen (1989) found that dramatization influenced viewers’ processing to become more empathetic than argumentative, which made dramatized commercials more persuasive than argument-oriented ones. Escalas (2004) showed that narrative advertisement processing is positively correlated with brand attitude and behavioral intention and that narratively structured advertisements persuade others through the experience known as narrative transportation. This experience has been explained by Green and Brock (2000) as “a convergent process where all mental systems and capacities become focused on events occurring in the narrative.” Narrative transportation theory explains the process of being lost in a story and that it takes place when a consumer experiences a feeling of stepping into a world stimulated by narratives due to the empathy with the characters and imagination of the story plot (Laer, Ruyter, Visconti, & Wetzels, 2014). This process can be effective in changing attitudes and beliefs of individuals who read stories (Green & Brock, 2000). For luxury brands, brand heritage can be transformed into stories that can transport readers to other worlds, and this can affect consumer attitudes, intentions, and behaviors (Laer, Ruyter, Visconti, & Wetzels, 2014). This experience is what this study pursues to delve into and understand.

        The popularity of visual communication in social network sites (SNS) can guide an important question about its effectiveness and the optimization for luxury brand advertising: How do visual communication messages via SNS work for consumer information processing and their evaluation of luxury hotels? To address this question, we examine consumer information processing in SNS in which visual communication messages work as narratives based on narrative transportation theory (Green & Brock, 2002; van Laer, Ruyter, Visconti, & Wetzels, 2014). Specific purposes are: (1) to identify key features of consumer information processing as narrative persuasion (i.e., narrative transportation), (2) to examine how consumers’ perceptions of fluency with visual messages (i.e., comprehension fluency and imagery fluency) influence the narrative persuasion process, and (3) to explore how the narrative persuasion process develops consumer responses with respect to positive affect and visit intention. First, we predict that increased fluency of information processing (comprehension fluency and imagery fluency) would increase narrative transportation. Second, increased narrative transportation would increase affective response and visit intention. Lastly, as for the two consequences, we predict that affective response would positively affect visit intention. A web-based survey was used for data collection. Measurement items of research variables were adapted from previous studies. A total of 193 usable responses were recruited from Amazon Mechanical Turk. Participants were directed to explore one randomly assigned luxury hotel Instagram page (Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton) and complete the questionnaire based on the experience. Results showed that comprehensive fluency, rather than imagery fluency, has significant impact on narrative transportation. Narrative transportation in turn influences affective response and visit intention; affective response influences visit intention. Additional tests suggest that narrative transportation and affective response play a mediating role in the narrative persuasion process. These findings highlight the power of narrative transportation in advertising for luxury brands, advising that marketers need to put efforts on enhancing visual storytelling in SNS communication.

        이 글은 삼척이 동해안의 교통 요지였음을 밝히고자 한 것이다. 삼척은 지리적 조건의 영향을 받아 농산물은 풍부하지 못하였지만, 해산물과 광산물 자원은 풍부하였다. 강원 남부 지역의 탄광은 지난 100년 동안 한국의 산업발전에 필요한 기초 에너지를 공급해 왔다. 한국경제의 발전 과정에서 삼척의 시멘트 생산은 기본 동력이 되었다. 삼척의 부족한 농산물을 풍부한 해산물과 광산물로 교환하기 위해서는 다른 지역과의 교류가 필수적이었다. 물자의 교환과 사람의 이동은 교통과 통신의 발달이 전제되어야 했다. 삼척으로 연결되는 육로와 해로는 근대 이후 더욱 확장되어 나갔다. 삼척은 군사 요충지로서도 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있어서, 삼척이 포항과 함께 동해안 방어를 위한 기지 역할을 맡기도 하였다. 물류 측면에서 보면 삼척은 부산↔원산 구간의 기항지로서 역할을 수행하고 있었다. 삼척은 지리적으로 한반 도와 일본, 러시아를 잇는 동북아 물류의 거점 도시로 발전할 수 있는 여건을 일찍부터 갖추고 있었던 셈이다. 그런데 남북 분단 이후 그 길이 끊기고 말았다. 앞 으로 삼척이 이른바 통일시대를 대비하고자 한다면, 과거에 삼척이 부산↔원산 구간의 기항지로서 담당했던 역할에 대하여 다시 주목할 필요가 있다.

        In this study, we investigated the concentrations of PM10 and CO2 in public transportation vehicles (express bus, train, KTX, and subway) reported by previous indoor air quality (IAQ) surveys carried out from 2005 to 2013 in Korea. The number of valid data for PM10 was 566 and for CO2 was 579, and all data were classified according to whether it was collected during rush-hour or non rush-hour. PM10 and CO2 concentrations in subway cabin during the rush-hour were 1.3 and 1.45 times higher, respectively, than those of non rush-hour (p<0.05) in terms of geometric mean value. PM10 and CO2 concentration of express bus and train during the rush-hour also were 1.23 times higher than those of non rush-hour with relatively weak correlations (p=0.246). Among all PM10 concentrations, 16.9% and 3.8% of PM10 concentrations exceeded the IAQ guidelines (200 μg/m3 for non-rush hour and 250 μg/m3 for rush-hour), respectively. In terms of CO2 concentrations, 10.5% and 3.0% of them exceeded the IAQ guidelines (2,500 ppm for non rush-hour and 3,000 ppm for rush-hour), respectively. As a result, concentrations of PM10 and CO2 were estimated to be dominantly influenced by the operation characteristics of public transportation, such as degree of congestion and type of vehicle. In order to improve the IAQ of public transportation vehicles, specific air purification and ventilation systems are needed, depending on the characteristics of public transportation vehicles.

        좋은 품질의 묘를 이용하는 것은 성공적인 작물 재배 및 생산을 위해 필수적이다. 그러나 구입묘 이용시에는 육묘장에서 재배농가로 운송하는 과정에서 묘의 품질이 저하될 우려가 있다. 본 연구는 토마토묘의 운송시 온도 조건이 정식 후 생육 및 수량에 미치는 영향을 검토하기 위해 수행되었다. 본엽이 9-10매 정도 전개하고 1화 방의 1번화가 피기 직전 또는 핀 토마토 접목묘를 이용 하여, 온도 조건을 각각 10, 25, 40oC, 처리시간을 2, 4, 6시간으로 조합 처리하였다. 처리 종료 후 10oC 처리구에 비해 25, 40oC 처리구에서 더 낮은 NDVI 값을 나타 냈으며, 40oC 처리구의 지하부 생체중이 가장 낮았다. 40oC 처리구 토마토묘는 정식 5-7일 후 아래잎에서 황화 및 잎마름 증상이 발생하였다. 1화방 착화절위는 처 리간에 차이가 없었으나, 착과수는 40oC/6시간 처리구에서 감소하여 착과수가 2개였다. 40oC/6시간 처리구의 경우 1화방 수량도 감소하여 대조구의 40% 정도였다. 따라서 묘의 운송시에는 온도조건이 지나친 고온 또는 저온이 되지 않도록, 단순 상온유통이 아닌 온도조절 장치 구비를 통한 온도조절이 요구된다. 6시간 이내의 단거리 운송의 경우 10-25oC 범위로 온도를 관리해줌으로써, 정식 후 장애 발생 없이 안정적인 착과 및 수량확보가 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

        This paper develops a two-echelon supply chain model with variable setup cost and environmental impact. A single-setup-multi-delivery (SSMD) policy is adopted to increase the efficiency of transportation in the supply chain in which it is assumed that the shipment lot size of each delivery is unequal and variable. Each delivered item goes through inspection process at the buyer’s end. After inspection, defective products are returned to the vendor for reworking process. Due to inspection process, end customers receives perfect quality items. Due to more transportations by SSMD policy, this model assumes carbon emission cost to help the world environment. An investment function is used to reduce total setup cost for the whole supply chain. Stackelberg leadership approach is utilized in this model to optimize the joint total cost of vendor and buyer. Finally, some numerical examples, sensitivity analysis, and graphical representations are given to illustrate more savings from existing literature.

        전 세계적으로 인구가 증가함에 따라 유전자변형(GeneticallyModified; GM) 작물의 생산 역시 가파르게 상승하고 있다.국내에서 GM 작물의 재배가 아직까지는 승인된 바가 없지만식품, 사료, 가공용으로 많은 양이 수입되고 있다. 1. 결과적으로 GMO의 수입이 매년 증가하여 수송과정이나가공과정에서 비의도적인 방출이 발생하며, 주변환경에서 자라고 있는 일반 재배품종으로의 유전자이동 등 국내 자연환경에 미칠 수 있는 영향이 우려되고 있다. 2. GM 작물 중 우리나라에 가장 많은 양이 수입되는 GM옥수수의 비의도적인 방출을 확인하기 위해 2009년 7월부터9월까지 국내 곡물항구와 사료공장을 중심으로 모니터링을 수행하였다. 3. 조사는 주로 개방된 항구의 곡물저장고 지역과 사료공장으로 가는 수송경로에서 옥수수 종자와 자라고 있는 옥수수식물체를 수집하여 진행되었다. 4. PCR 분석을 통해 14개의 GM 옥수수 식물체와 수집된종자를 발아시켜 얻은 식물체 샘플 26개에서 GM 옥수수 유전자가 발견되었다. 5. 낙곡에 의한 GM 옥수수 종자의 유출이나 식물체가 자연환경에서 자라고 있는 것이 우리나라의 생태계에 어떠한 영향을 줄지 예측하기는 어렵지만, 법적으로 GMO를 철저히 관리하도록 되어 있으며, 사회적으로도 수입 GMO를 안전하게 관리하고 있다는 인식을 높이기 위해 주기적인 GMO의 모니터링이 수행되어야 할 것으로 판단된다.

        Recently, the Korean government has been making efforts to achieve ‘creative economy’ based on science and technology. As part of these efforts, it has been promoted specific policies for innovation and performance enhancement of national R&D projects. They contains commercialization of research outcomes, technology transfer, technology based startup and support small and medium-sized businesses. The railroad transportation industry is a representative in the field of SOC and has own characteristics different from other industry areas. Especially, industry and market of railroad transportation are directly related to planning and implementation of government SOC policies. So in order to promoting commercialization of railroad transportation projects, it is very important to ensure consistency between government policies and R&D projects. In this paper, we investigate barriers of successful commercialization with typical researchers in the area of railroad transportation, and suggest problems and improvements of policy-based commercialization by giving specific examples.

        Enforced environmental regulations call for extending the domain of manufacturers’ responsibility to the entire product life cycle. To comply with the environmental regulations, manufacturers have constructed reverse logistics networks to re-collect their leftover waste for recycling consumed resources. However, the operational activities associated with storage, loading and transportation processes within the networks inevitably impose environmental burdens. Particularly, the transportation process largely influences environmental performance due to perpetual uses of transportation vehicles. Therefore, there is a need to develop an environmentally- conscious transportation model that can efficiently manage the uses of transportation vehicles. Additionally, it is vital to analyze its significances of environmental performance to compare quantitatively it with existing models. This paper proposes a transportation model for improving environmental performance in a reverse logistics network. This paper also presents a case study to perform its comparative analysis using Life Cycle Assessment that evaluates potential environmental impacts of a product system.

        Transportation problem is an optimization problem. In general, it was studied under random or uncertain condition. Considering the recent complexity, it is not enough to make should be a perfect transportation plan only based on. Usually, there is not only uncertainty but also randomness in many systems. In this paper, the aim is to investigate a transportation problem under uncertain and random environment. As a result, a conceptual uncertain random model is proposed for the problem, where the supplies are considered as random variables, and the costs and the demands are uncertain variables. By minimizing the expected value of uncertain objective function and taking confidence levels on constraints, transforming the model into a crisp mathematical form is the main conclusion. Then transforming the model into a typical mathematical programming model is the main conclusion by using uncertainty theory and probability theory. At the end, a numerical example is given to show the feasibility of the model.

        This study was a time activity pattern assessment focused on transportation in subpopulation groups using the ‘Time-Use Survey’ conducted by the National Statistical Office in Korea in 2009. The time activity patterns of transportation on weekdays were analyzed, looking at average travel time in Seoul, Gyeonggido and the whole country. Various subpopulation groups were classified such as students, the elderly, workers and housewives. The population of Gyeonggido had a higher average transportation time than that of Seoul. Workers showed the highest weekly average travel, while the students group showed the lowest tendency. The times spent in walking, bus, subway and taxi were the highest in areas other than Gyeonggido, where the use of private vehicles such as car was higher. Therefore, exposure to hazardous air pollutants may vary depending on the transportation method and time spent. This results indicate that time activity pattern assessment on transportation may be an important element of exposure assessment.

        The purpose of this study was the analytical safety evaluation on the super-structure of precast modular bridge using standardized modular members and robotic construction during the transportation routing and lifting conditions. In order to evaluate the safety performance of the bridge system, 3-D full scale Finite Element (FE) of 40 m standardized modular block was developed in ABAQUS, followed by the analytical study to classify the structural system according to steel girder structures: 1) modular bridge block lifting method including the steel girder system; 2) modular bridge block lifting method without the steel girder system. The results from the analytical study revealed that the maximum stress of each modular member was within the maximum allowable stresses during lifting condition. However, the stress concentration at the connected area was more critical in comparison to the behavior of 40 m combined modular blocks during lifting time
