In this research, we developed flag-raising machine operates smoothly even in the external environment such as slope and wind by 'guide' which guides inserted flag. In addition, even at the time of the output of this flag-raising machine, curling flag inside does not occur. to evaluate this machine, we develop system that can tilt the machine. and evaluate its performance by calculating difference between flag's right and left length after flag is output or inserted respectively. in this result, even in some slope, its input/output performance operates well, also curl doesn't occurred inside This system has the advantage that the flag-raising as well as can be applied for various advertising system.

This study investigates the development of an automatic lightening buoy that can indicate an aquaculture cage at night or in rough weather. The energy for the light is generated by the linear motion of a magnet along with a coil inside the buoy as the waves cause the buoy to oscillate up and down. The principle of the magnet motion is different between the magnet and body of the buoy because the movement of the latter is dependent on the surface wave, while the former is affected by the damper. To obtain a quantitative performance of the buoy, the voltage as well as up and down motion produced by several waves were measured in the wave tank. A shorter wave period, i.e., faster motion, of the magnet produced a brighter light. It is expected that this study can aid in deciding the optimum design of a buoy capable of producing a bright light at any aquaculture site affected by sea or fresh water waves.

We develop a new auto-guiding system for the Camera for QUasars in the EArly uNiverse (CQUEAN). CQUEAN is an optical CCD camera system attached to the 2.1-m Otto-Struve Telescope (OST) at McDonald Observatory, USA. The new auto-guiding system diers from the original one in the following: instead of the cassegrain focus of the OST, it is attached to the nder scope; it has its own lter system for observation of bright targets; and it is controlled with the CQUEAN Auto-guiding Package, a newly developed auto-guiding program. Finder scope commands a very wide eld of view at the expense of poorer light gathering power than that of the OST. Based on the star count data and the limiting magnitude of the system, we estimate there are more than 5.9 observable stars with a single FOV using the new auto-guiding CCD camera. An adapter is made to attach the system to the nder scope. The new auto-guiding system successfully guided the OST to obtain science data with CQUEAN during the test run in 2014 February. The FWHM and ellipticity distributions of stellar proles on CQUEAN, images guided with the new auto-guiding system, indicate similar guiding capabilities with the original auto-guiding system but with slightly poorer guiding performance at longer exposures, as indicated by the position angle distribution. We conclude that the new auto-guiding system has overall similar guiding performance to the original system. The new auto-guiding system will be used for the second generation CQUEAN, but it can be used for other cassegrain instruments of the OST.

A bake-out process using auto switchgear was carried out to evaluate the reduction effect of the concentration of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and formaldehyde in newly-built apartments for seven days. The reduction rate of VOCs was observed as followings: 19%, 38%, 89%, 90%, and 96% for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylene, and styrene, respectively, which satisfies at the indoor air quality standards of newly-built apartment houses in Korea. The reduction rate of formaldehyde was 75%. Those results proved that the bake-out process using auto switchgear was effective for reducing indoor air pollutants.

To perform imaging observations of optically red objects such as high redshift quasars and brown dwarfs, the Center for the Exploration of the Origin of the Universe (CEOU) recently developed an optical CCD camera, Camera for QUasars in EArly uNiverse (CQUEAN), which is sensitive at 0.7-1.1 μm. To enable observations with long exposures, we develop an auto-guiding system for CQUEAN. This system consists of an off-axis mirror, a baffle, a CCD camera, a motor and a differential decelerator. To increase the number of available guiding stars, we design a rotating mechanism for the off-axis guiding camera. The guiding field can be scanned along the 10 arcmin ring offset from the optical axis of the telescope. Combined with the auto-guiding software of the McDonald Observatory, we confirm that a stable image can be obtained with an exposure time as long as 1200 seconds.

This paper introduces an auto-feeding system to exactly control the feeding time and the amount to cultured fishes in aquaculture industrial field. To reduce expensive costs or labors in this field, it was designed by the concept of controlling feed quantity exactly on the basis of fish's feeding behavior pattern in water tank. A feed control method of this system was developed for controlling feed amount by rotor capacity and motor rotated number. Moreover, a scattering section was selected by rotate way of propeller wing to scatter dried feed to designated site, and then, the diameter of its wing was 250mm and maximum scattering distance was 7.6m for 600rpm. Furthermore, the scattering ways were embodied 2 types such as a simplified way and a multistage shift way looks like a manual scattering. As a results, the multistage shift way is more effective to discharge the dried feed widely than the simple way in the water tank.

폐기물의 높은 수분함량은 폐기물 에너지화에 있어 효율을 저해시키는 주된 요인이다. 기계적･생물학적 처리(Mechanical Biological Treatment, MBT)는 생분해성 폐기물의 매립량을 줄이고, 고형연료 생산을 통한 에너지회수를 위해 적용된 기술이다. 최근에는 고품질의 고형연료를 생산하고자 MBT 시설에서 생물학적 처리공정으로 Bio-drying 공정을 적용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재 가동중인 기계적 선별공정 중심의 생활폐기물 고형연료화 시설에서 배출되는 선별 잔재물을 대상으로 Bio-drying이 진행되는 과정에서의 수분제거 특성을 파악하였다. 또한, 특정 범위(45~50℃)로 배출가스의 온도가 유지될 수 있도록 송풍량 자동제어 방식을 적용하였으며, 단일방향의 공기공급에서 기인되는 수분함량의 불균질 분포를 해소하기 위해 송풍방향의 전환을 실시하였다. 2주 동안의 Bio-drying을 통해 폐기물의 40.3%이 감량되었으며, 초기 수분중량 대비 79.4%의 수분이 제거(건조)되었음을 확인하였고, Bio-drying 전/후 폐기물의 수분함량은 각각 43.0 및 14.8%로 분석되었다. Bio-drying 공정에서의 water balance 수립을 통해 송풍방향 전환시점에서의 평균 수분함량이 19.8%로 추정된 반면, 폐기물 상층의 수분함량은 39.0%로 분석되었다. 송풍방향의 전환 이후 실험종료 시점에서의 폐기물 상/중/하층의 수분함량은 각각 23.1, 13.3 및 16.0%로 분석되어, 송풍방향의 전환을 통해 폐기물 상층 수분함량의 효과적인 감소와 수분함량의 균질 분포가 유도될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 또한, 송풍량 자동제어 방식의 적용을 통해 배출가스 온도의 상승 및 하강 시점에서의 송풍량 증가 및 감소에 의해 배출가스의 온도가 특정 범위 내에 존재할 수 있었음을 확인하였으며, 송풍량의 변화가 수분 제거속도를 상승시키는 요인으로 작용한 것으로 분석되었다.

한국 스마트폰 게임의 빠른 성장과 함께 새로운 게임 시스템 등이 등장했다. 특히 인기 있는 장르인 RPG에 도입된 자동 전투 시스템은 기존 컴퓨터 게임의 이해에 큰 변화를 가져왔다. 이 변화를 이해하기 위해서는 어떤 환경이 자동 전투 시스템을 등장하도록 했는가에 대해 살펴볼 필요가 있다. 여기에서 중요한 것은 스마트폰 게임의 존재를 규정하는 기술적 장치, 즉 스마트 폰과 이 스마트폰의 사용 양식이다. 기술적 장치와 그것의 사용 양식은 게임을 플레이하는 유 저의 활동 방식에 영향을 미치고, 게임 개발자는 이 활동 방식에 맞춰 게임 시스템을 만들어 내는 것이다. 자동 전투 시스템의 이런 등장과 성장의 과정을 살펴봄으로써 우리는 게임 시스 템의 미시적 변화가 컴퓨터 게임의 존재 양식의 변화를 반영한다는 점을 확인할 수 있다. 이런 사실은 컴퓨터 게임의 역사를 이해하는 폭을 넓혀줄 것이다.

근해의 수질오염은 수산양식 산업에 큰 영향을 미친다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 근해에서 외해로 양식장이 이동하고 있다. 외해 양식장의 구축을 위해서는 자동먹이 공급장치 및 원격 관리 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문은 해상의 양식장에서의 자동 먹이 공급 시스템에 관하여 설명하고자 한다. 어류는 수온 및 어체 중량에 따라 먹이를 먹는 양이 변화하며, 해상 양식장의 경우 육상에 비하여 온도 변화가 크게 일어난다. 본 논문은 수온 및 어체 중량에 따라 먹이량을 계산하고 자동으로 먹이를 공급하는 시스템을 연구하였으며 모형 실험을 통하여 먹이 공급 장치의 성능을 검증하였다.
