본 연구는 한라산국립공원 및 주변 약 270km2의 면적에 서식하는 노루(Capreolus pygarus tianschanicus Satunin)의 개체수를 조사하였다. 조사는 1998년 11월(늦가을)에서 2001년 3월(이른 봄)사이에 이루어졌으며, 2006년 11월에서 2007년 1월사이에 추가 조사하였다. 조사결과 총 1,444마리가 확인되어 1km2당 5.33마리의 노루가 서식하는 것으로 나타났다. 지역별로는 돈내코 등산코스 주변에서 270마리로 가장 많았고 제 2횡단도로 주변이 12마리로 가장 적게 관찰되었다. 노루집단의 관찰빈도는 한라산국립공원의 가장자리에서 가장 높았는데, 이는 겨울철 한라산노루의 분포는 인위적인 간섭보다 먹이의 양과 질에 영향을 더 받고 있기 때문인 것으로 판단된다.

본 연구는 불암산도시자연공원의 친자연적인 공원관리계획 수립을 위한 연구로 자연생태계 현황, 과도한 이용과 공원시설물 조성에 따른 훼손 및 주변생태계의 영향 등 환경생태 현황을 정밀하게 조사분석하여 친자연적인 공원조성 및 관리방안을 제안하고 공원조성 기본계획 수립을 위한 기초자료를 제시하고자 하였다. 연구는 현황 조사, 분석, 생태적 평가, 공원관리계획 수립 단계로 진행하였으며, 조사분석 단계에서는 일반적 개황, 자연환경, 자연생태 등 현황을 파악하였으며, 생태적 평가에서는 조사분석 자료를 바탕으로 생태계의 기반이 되는식물생태계를 유형화한 비오톱유형, 야생동물 서식처, 자연경관 평가를 실시하였다. 관리계획 수립에서는 친자연적인 공원관리를 제안하고자 평가자료를 활용하여 양호한 생태계 및자연경관 보존지역으로 구분하였다. 생태계 및 자연경관 보존계획에서는 생태계 및 자연경관보존지역, 생태계 보호지역, 생태계 복원지역(이용가능)을 지정하였고, 훼손지 복원 및 복구계획에서는 훼손된 숲생태계 유형에 따라 식생복원 목표로 제안하였다.

한국형 위험기반검사 프로그램을 석유화학공장에 적용하여 사업장의 안전관리 이행수준, 공정 위험도 등급 및 분포 및 설비의 손상메카니즘 분포를 산출하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 검사주기 변경으로 설비검사를 수행함으로써 배관의 안전성을 향상시키고, 검사비용을 절감할 수 있었다.

In this regard, the Korean companies which were certified with the ISO 9000 or 14000 should endeavor to find new strategies and methods to be certified with IEC 60300. This paper introduces a Quantitative method of estimating the level of the reliability management system by applying the MIR(Maturity Index on Reliability) technique. This enables the estimation of the operation level of the system and can upgrade the maturity level of it.

In the future, all kinds condition of industrial safety is a primary need in all advanced countries in which workplace safety is an issue. Furthermore, the increasing complexity of production systems and the rapidity of technological innovation have consolidated the recognition of the strategic value of safety, alongside the traditional competitive factors such as quality, costs, delivery time and flexibility, In this paper, the some critical issues of changes and counter-plan in an adequate safety management were identified by above considerations as follows： needs of systematic identification and analysis of safety factors； requirements to define priorities and budgeting to support the decision-making process; and needs of audit activities and indicators which measure company performance in terms of safety improvements, and so on.

This study is designed to 1) understand customers' choice behavior and preference of foodservices in campus and 2) provide recommendation on management strategies for university foodservice manager. Individual interview and focus group interview were used to identify important selection attributes. The questionnaire was developed and distributed to 480 Yonsei university students and statistical data analysis was completed using SPSS WIN/7.5 for descriptive analysis, multidimensional scaling and conjoint analysis. The results of this study were summarized as follows: Students evaluated four foodservices in different ways, and strength/weakness points could be identified from the evaluation patterns. Most students(51.1%) were frequently used 'A' foodservice, though they preferred other foodservices, and cost, mainly, caused the difference. Perceptual map from multidimensional scaling showed that preference and patronage were close with different attributes. Cost was most relatively important attribute to select foodservice in campus from conjoint analysis. Therefore, relative importance of attributes should be considered in customer preference survey for constructing management plan.

It has been studied a lot to solve the problems concerning about the port management system in Korea. Since the international competitive power of port system in Korea is decreasing these days. This paper suggests that Port Authority should be given to the local government in order to not only properly meet the demands from worldwide change in port condition but also develop the major country which will lead distribution system of northeast Asia in 21th century. In this paper, I also acknowledge the following facts. 1. more power needed for local government to develop and manage port system 2. the harmony of port function and urban capacity needed in order to utilize the extending effect from port development.

Object of this study is to suggest the plan for natural vegetation restoration and management by ecological approach. The concept of biotope planting technique was introduced in order to restore the natural vegetation in the northern part of Mt. Nam in Seoul, and Quercus mongolica forests was surveyed so as to obtain the basic data. This study focused on the vegetational context between northern part of Mt. Nam and develop-reserved site. The results are following ; 1. It is suitable to plant 25~30 trees in 100m2 with trees of DBH 10cm and below at intervals of about 2m in canopy layer. In the case of subtree layer of DBH 2cm, about 30 trees were planted at an Intervals of 1.5~2m around in 100m2. 2. In the last step of nature vegetation restoration, it is desiable that canopy density is 5/100m2 and subtree one is 10~20/100m2. 3. Management plans was proposed to use the native species of Mt. Nam around and to investigate the ecological situation once a year such as species introduce, dead-tree, soil, fauna etc.

The national parks of South Korea take up an area of 6,726 km2, which accounts for 6.7% of the national land. They are national conservation areas with their area made up of 59.1% of land (3,972.6 km2) and 40.9% of seawaters (2,753.7 km2). And in 2019, the national parks are classified by type into 17 mountainous, 4 maritime or coastal, and 1 historical site. Here, the maritime or coastal nation parks are lately spotlighted as landmarks in maritime tourism. However, the area of the maritime or coastal national parks is continuously dwindling due to conflicts between the residents in the parks and Korea national park service, the continued pressure with respect to the regional tourism development and private investments, and the abolition of parks in relation to allegedly breached private properties. This study identifies the issues with the operation and management of national parks as caused by the abolition of parks and the reduction of areas, and goes from there to do research with the aim of suggesting an institutionalized improvement plan with a view to more useful operation and management of the maritime or coastal national parks. As a result, the natural resources in the sea and on land should be surveyed again to establish the standard for use-specific zoning and reorganize the park areas in adjusting the national park areas. Second, the use-specific districts need to be reviewed for their reorganization that meets the designation requirements by focusing on the characteristics of the different national parks with a view to ensuring reasonable natural conservation in the maritime or coastal national parks. Third, various support facilities for residents such as public path, lodgings, and rentals need to be created to reduce the conflicts between Korea national park service and those who live in the parks.

The purpose of this study was to propose an efficient management plan for purchased land considering the hydrological, watershed characteristics and ecological functions of the target land and surrounding area based on the result of monitoring the water quality improvement effect obtained by purchasing the land in the watershed area in the Geum river system. For this purpose, this study investigated through literature review, and examined ways to apply them to this research by deriving implications from a comprehensive analysis of previous research cases. After that, the components of assessment were derived to evaluate the ecological function of the purchase land, and the ecological function evaluation model for each land and area was proposed. In order to select purchase and restoration priorities of the land, this study analyzed the ecological status of the purchased land in main watersheds and tributaries using Arc GIS ver 10.1. Through this, a process to select restoration priorities was developed. And this study constructed the integrated management process with proposing a mid - to long - term plan by integrating the purchased land valuation and restoration priority selection process. Based on this process, this study suggested an effective management plan for purchased land through the integrated ecological management system of lands purchased. It can be used systematically in appraisal valuation, land purchase system, restoration project, and follow-up management of land purchase.

A primary goal of transnationals is to offer their vision for selling products or services so that they are relevant to local cultures. The purpose of this study is to provide a solution for how transnational companies face various environments and how they can utilize and overcome them and survive strategically. This study will present strategic recommendations for transnational organizations. First, transnational organizations should identify the core areas where organizational can invest or allocate its precious resources to get full advantage of the attractive opportunities form the market and focus on building strong networks with the key stakeholders. Second, they should manage the knowledge flows and provide strategic direction in cooperative venture for the long term successful future and ensure that every department has an effective coordination with other departments in order to bring about the organizational change. Lastly, they should overcome the challenges managers face in a transnational business environment when companies expand their operations into international markets. The managers need to assess the organization’s strengths and weaknesses and evaluate different forces which are present in the external environment. And then, Managers have to ensure that the company has sufficient resources, core competencies and capabilities.

To improve the management of the transboundary movement of waste, the management system for the transboundary movement of hazardous waste in both Korea (Republic of) and other foreign countries was reviewed. It was found that, for the improvement in the listed waste, the revision of the HSK code for waste and the strategy for international situation should be considered in Korea. The listed waste in Korea was found to be lacking the detailed classification to accommodate the listed waste of Basel Convention. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the listed waste in Korea in accordance with the listed waste of the Basel Convention. The HSK code for waste should be revised to identify the different type of items between a new item and a used item. Hence, it is necessary to subdivide the HSK code for used goods and wastes. Each country has amended its laws and management systems for securing resources globally and for protecting the environment in its own country. Finally, the strategy for the international situation should be intensified in the management of transboundary movement because the prohibited wastes in transboundary movement were suddenly expanded in China.
