        Allylaliphatic carboxylate oligomers were prepared from polymerization giving allyl aliphatic carboxylates in the presence of potassium persulfate in methanol and the α-sulfonation of these allyl aliphatic carboxylates oligomers were carried by direct addition of dry sulfur trioxide. The dispersing performance of oligomer type anionic surfactants and SDS in the aqueous suspension of Fe2O3 and Tio2 particles were evaluated by particle size distribution and ξ-potential measurement. As results, the particles of Fe2O3 and Tio2 were flocculated by addition of small amount of oligomer type anionic surfactants and SDS, then the flocks redispersed by more addition oligomer type anionic surfactants and SDS. The dispersion and flocculation were observed in lower concentration range of oligomer type anionic surfactants than SDS.

        The antioxidant effect and sensory evaluation of various concentration of dried insam on gangjung was investigated for 6 months. The results were as follows: 1. The antioxidant effect of each sample were in the rank order of 0$gt;0.5$gt;1.0$gt;1.5$gt;2.0$gt;2.5% of dried insam at 20℃ by acid and peroxide value but the effect did not increase proportionally with increasing concentration. 2. In 3 months, acid and peroxide values increased slowly showing, but after 3 months, acid and peroxide values increased remarkably. 3. The acid value(AV) and the peroxide value(POV) of dried insam gangjung increased according to storage term but there was no significant difference with the kinds of adding methods of dried insam. 4. Sensory evaluation of preference for flavor, texture, taste and total quality of six samples by multiple paired comparison test indicated that gangjung with 1.5% dried insam in maltose was the best among samples.

        Jeong-Gak is one of the Confucian architecture in Cho-Sun Dynasty. This study is founded on the architectural characteristics and the Confucian order of Jeong-Gak. The Cho-Sun Dynasty had put in operation positive Jeong-Pyo Policy for diffusion Confusion ethics and educate the people. Prize methods of Jeong-Pyo Policy are Jeong-Ryeo, Jeong-moon, remit corvee, present a post and present goods. Jeong-Moon and Jeong-Ryeo is red gate. Vocabularies of Jeong-Moon and Jeong-Ryeo have used mixing but I think that both meaning is different essentially each other. The red gate that elected in front of gate or gateway is Jeong-Moon and another red gate that elected an entrance a village is Jeong-Ryeo. Jeong-Moon and Jeong-Ryeo have no roof, so they are many problem for maintenance and management. Accordingly Jeong-Gak come out from the reign of King Jung-Jong because shelter of Jeong-Moon and Jeong-Ryeo. The function of the Jeong-Gak is shelter of the Jeong-Moon and Jeong-Ryeo, encouragement of Sam-Gang(三綱) ethics, and ostentation of a family. Besides it has a monumental characteristic. It has been distributed the whole country land that Jeong-Gak is closely related with the community of same family (rural community) the latter period of the Cho-Sun Dynasty. The architectural particularity of the Jeong-Gak is brilliance of building materials as compared with different Confucian architecture and appearance of various architectural type. It is that a type of Jeong-Gak appeared Jeong-Ryeo-Gak type, a lofty gate type, and Stone Jeong-Ryeo type. And there are keeping a rule that is to say Confucian order clearly.

        미역 (Undaria pinnatifida)의 엽상부, 줄기 및 포자엽 부위별 지방산을 분석하여 n-3 폴리엔산, n-6 폴리엔산. γ-linolenic acid (18:3, n-6) 및 α-linolenic acid (18:3, n-3)의 영양학적 의의를 규명코자 하였다. 총지방질 함량은 엽상부 3.37%, 포자엽 4.59% 및 줄기 2.50%였으나, 지방산 조성을 볼 때 엽상부는 총 폴리엔산 44.18% 중 α-linolenic acid (18:3, n-3) stearidonic acid(18:4, n-3), eicosapentaenoic acid (20:5, n-3) 및 docosahexaenoic acid (22:6, n-3) 와 같은 n-3계열의 폴리엔산은 29.69%였으나 γ-linolenic acid (18:3, n-6) 0.90%로 매우 낮았다. 총 폴리엔산과n-3계열의 폴리엔산 조성비율을 볼 때 엽상부는 44.18% 및 29.69%였으나. 포자엽은 23.63% 및 5.58%였고 줄기는 26.66% 및 7.37%였다. 한편 중성지방질, 당지방질 및 인지방질의 n-3 폴리엔산의 함량을 볼 때 엽상부는 22.40%, 35.82% 및 3.53%로 현저하게 높았으나 줄기는 5.26%, 9.51% 및 2.37%였고, 포자엽은 4.49%, 8.01% 및 2.14%로 가장 낮았다. 따라서 미역 엽상부의 총 폴리에산과 n-3 폴리엔산은 기능성 식품자원으로 활용이 가능한 것으로 시사된다

        We have investgated UV-Vis absorbance to observe the photoisomerization using the mixture solutions in chloroform and LB monolayers mixed with DLPE and 8A5H containing azobenzene which showed reversible cis-trans photoisomerization irradiated by alternate lights. We have found that the absorbance spectrums of the mixture solutions and LB monolayers were reversibly induced to cis-trans photoisomerization irradiated by alternate lights. In addition, the absorbance of both solution and LB monolayer mixed with 8A5H and DLPE were reversibly by alternate temperatures. As a results, the 1:1(by volume) mixture ratio of 8A5H and DLPE was more flexible and reversible cis-trans photoisomerization than the others.

        To investigate fatty acid constituents and relative compositions in the fluid of the follicles, oviducts, uterine body and uterine body in Korean native cow, the fluids of the reproductive tract were analyzed using gas chromatography. The samples were taken from various reproductive tract of 23 Korean native cows. q. Caprylic acid (C8:0), myristic acid(C14:0), palmitic acid(C16:0), palmitoleic acid(C16:1), stearic acid(C18:0), oleic acid(C18:1), linoleic acid(C18:2), arachidonic acid(C20:4) were found in the reproductive tracts of the cows, which made 8 kinds of fatty acid in total. 2. Palmitic acid, oleic acid, stearic acid were predominant with 35.67%, 24.98% and 17.52%, respectively. while low levels of fatty acids(<5%) were myristic acid, palmitoleic acid and caprylic acid with 1.75%, 1.28% and 2.69%, respectively. 3. Two kinds of polyunsaturated fatty acids, linoleic acid arachidonic acid were found in the reproductive tracts of cows. 4. Palmitic acid among saturated fatty acids and oleic acid among unsaturated fatty acids were the highest level in all of the reproductive tracts. 5. The Highest level of arachidonic acid was found in the uterine horn. 6. The sum of the palmitic acid and oleic acid were 61.72%, 63.72%, 57.66% and 57.65% for the fluid of follicle, oviduct, uterine horn and uterine body of the cows, respectively. 7. The relative compositions of palmitic acid, palmitoleic acid and caprylic acid were higher during the luteal phase than during the follicular phase. 8. The relative compositions of arachidonic acid was higher during the follicular phase in the fluid of uterine horn and uterine body of the cows. 9. The long chain fatty acid, the palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid and linoleic acidshowed higher relative compositions during the follicular phase(86.49%∼95.51%) than during the luteal phase(85.64%∼88.93%).

The samples were taken from various reproductive tract of 21 sows slaughtered. 1. Caprylic acid(C8: 0), capric acid(C10:0), lauric acid(C12:0), myristic acid(C14:0), palmitic acid(C16:0), plamitolele acid(C16:1), stearic acid(C18:0), oleic acid(C18:1), linoleic acid(C18:2) and arachidonic acid(C20:4) were found in the reproductive tracts of the sows, which made 10 kinds of fatty acid intotal. 2. Two kinds of polyunsaturated fatty acids, linoleic acid and archidonic acid were found inthe reproductive tracts. 3. Palmitic acid among saturated fatty acids and oleic acid among unsaturated fatty acids were the hihgest level in all of the reproductive tracts. 4. Palmitic acid, oleic acid and stearic acid showed higher rate with 44.89%, 23.69% and 14.36%, respectively, and lauric acid, capric acid, palmitoleic acid, arachidonic acid ad myristic acid showed lower rate with 0.62%, 1.13%, 1.65%, 1.97% and 2.24%, respectively in the reproductive fluid. 5. The highest level of arachidonic acid was found in the uterine horn. 6. The sum of the palmitic acid and oleic acid were 66.91%, 70.41%, 66.14% and 73.36% in the fluid of follicle, oviduct, uterine horn and uterine body, respectively. 7. The relative composition of arachidonic acid was higher during the follicular stage than during the luteal phase in the fluid of oviduct and uterine. 8. The long chain fatty acids such as the palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid and linoleic acid showed higher relative compositions during the follicular phase(93.18%∼96.83%) than during the luteal phase(82.56%∼88.37%). 9. Caprylic acid, luric acid and palmitoleic acid were undetected in the fluid of all of the reproductive tracts during the follicular phase. Low relative compositions of capric acid, myristic acid andarachidonic acid were found during the follicular phase, while the low relative compositions (<5%)of capric acid, lauric acid, myristic acid, plamitoleic acid and arachidonic acid were found during the luteal phase.

        This research was designed to develop a computer program and evaluate the nutritional balances especially the balance of fatty acids, amino acids and antioxidant vitamins for convenience foods. The Korean convenience food, Kimbab purchased from markets was evaluated by using the self-developed computer program. Contents of calories, protein and calcium were lower(1/3˚+1/2) than the recommended levels of Korean adult woman, and the carbohydrate/ protein/ fat(CPF) energy ratio was 70: 13: 17. The mean P/ M/ S ratio was 2.2/ 1.4/ 1 and that of Ω6/ Ω3 fatty acids was 17.9/ 1, which was higher than the desirable ratio of 4~8/ 1. Average essential amino acid balance of market-Kimbab samples was within the desirable range even though the absolute amount of protein was lower than the recommended level. Contents of antioxidant vitamins (A, C &E) were lower than recommended levels. Two kinds of nutritionally adjusted Kimbab menu were established by self-developed computer program. Some of major changes was adding food ingredients such as tuna fish and perilla leaf cooked with sesame oil and soybean oil to increase Ω3 series fatty acids. Some fruits and milk were also added to the menu. The adjusted CPF ratios was 63: 15: 22 and the new values for P/ M/ S and Ω6/ Ω3 fatty acids ratios were 1.0/ 1.2/ 1/0 and 6.1/ 1 respectively. In sensory evaluation of two kinds of adjusted Kimbab, the taste and overall estimation scores were higher than unadjusted Kimbab. The computer program developed in this study might be used as a tool for the evaluation of nutritional balance of other convenience foods and menu planning.

        2년제 대학에 재학 중인 대학생 72명과 그들의 부모 72명을 대상으로 3일-식이기록을 작성시켜 두 세대간의 영양소 섭취형태, 지방, 설탕 및 식이섬유 섭취량과 지방 섭취형태의 차이를 분석하였다, 조사대상자의 평균연령은 학생이 19.8세였고 부모가 48.2세였다. 평균 BMI는 학생이 20.9, 부모가 23.8이었으며, BMI 25이상을 비만으로 볼 때 학생의 9.7%와 부모의 29.2%가 비만으로 나타났다. 3일-식이기록으로 조사한 일일 열량섭취량은 학생이 1, 881.5kcal, 부모가1, 866.4kcal이며 이는 한국인 영양권장량의 85.0%와 85.9%로서 두 세대 모두 권장량에 미달되는 것으로 나타났다. 지방은 학생이 55.8g로서 48.0g인 부모보다 많이 섭취하고 있으며, 단백질은 부모가 학생보다 많이 섭취하는 것으로 나타났다(86.5 g과 75.2 g). 당질, 단백질 및 지방을 열량구성비율로 환산해 보면, 당질은 학생과 부모가 각각 57.6%와 59.4%, 단백질은 16.4%와 18.3%, 그리고 지방은 26.4%와 22.5%로서 바람직한 한국인의 열량구성비와 비교할 때 당질은 학생이 약 7%, 부모는 약 6% 적게, 단백질은 학생이 약 1%, 부모는 약 3%가 많게 섭취하고 있었으며, 지방은 학생은 약 1% 많이, 부모는 약 3% 적게 섭취하는 것으로 나타났다. 학생과 부모의 단백질 섭취량은 각각 한국인의 영양권장량의 110.5%와 132.1%로서 모두 권장량보다 많았으며, 부모가 학생보다 훨씬 높았다. 칼슘섭취량은 학생과 부모 모두 권장량에 못 미치는 75.2%와 81.0%였으며, 철분섭취량은 학생들은 권장량의 93.3%로 약간 부족한 반면에 부모들은 133.4%로 권장량 이상 섭취하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 섭유질의 섭취량은 부모들이 15.3 g으로서 학생들의 11.0 g보다 많았고 설탕의 섭취량은 학생이 부모보다 많았으며(28.6과 20.7g). 콜레스테롤 섭취량은 두 세대간에 차이가 없었다. 섭취한 식품을 식품교화군으로 환산해 보면 곡규군, 지방군 및 과일군은 두 세대간에 차이가 없었으나 어육류군과 채소군은 부모들이 학생들보다 많은 양을 섭취하고 있었으며, 우유군은 학생들이 0.52로서 0.19인 부모들에 비해 많은 양을 섭취하고 있었다. 포화지방은 학생이 부모보다 많이 섭취하고 있었고(15.75 g과 12.42 g), 다가 불포화지방은 두 세대간의 섭취량이 차이가 없었으나 이것을 지방 섭취량에 대한 백분율로 환산하면 부모가 학생보다 훨씬 많았다(23.37%와 20.02%). 포화지방산을 섭취에너지에 대한 백분율로 환산하면 학생이 부모보다 높게 섭취하고 있었으며(7.42%과 5.74%). P:S 비는 부모가 학생보다 높았다(1.13과 0.75). 콜레스테롤은 학생이 부모보다 많이 섭취하는 경향을 보였으나(263.3g 과 224.0g) 유의적인 차이가 없고, 미국 영양사협회와 미국 심장협회가 권장하는 300mg을 넘지는 않았다. 식이 동맥경화원성을 나타내는 콜레스테롤지표(CI)와 Keys score 및 Hegsted score 모두 학생이 부모보다 큰 것으로 나타났다.

        Lipid peroxidation is one of the main manifestations of oxidative damage and has been found play an important role in the toxicity and carcinogenesis of many carcinogens. This study was carried out to investigate the effects of aflatoxin B₁ co-administrated with antioxidant vitamins on lipid contents and fatty acids components of liver in mice. For this work, vitamin C and vitamin E, the major antioxidants, were administrated with 10 ㎎/㎏ and 63.8 ㎎/㎏ respectively, through intraperitoneal(i.p) injection to male ICR mice, and 0.4 ㎎/㎏ of the AFB₁ injected by i.p. lhr later. The results were as follows: two fold amounts of free cholesterol, triglyceride, and total cholesterol in serum and liver of mice treated with only AFB₁ were observed, when compared to those of mice co-administrated with antioxidant vitamins. However, the levels of phospholipids in serum and liver of mice treated with only AFB₁ were decreased. Concerning to fatty acids composition of liver from AFB₁-treated mice, P/S ratio was shown more low level in cholesteryl ester, triglyceride, total cholesterol and phospholipid than those of mice co-administrated with antioxidant vitamins. In these data which provide with a reliable evidence on their antioxidantal effects to aflatoxicosis.
