This study investigates H-shaped houses in 1930s and examines the characters and meanings of Kim, Jong-Ryang`s H-shaped houses as a new trial to urban Hanok of those days. He, who was concerned about the housing problem of Seoul, made an attempt to make various types of dwellings. Among them, this study focuses on Japanese-Korean Style H-shaped houses in Samcheong-dong. As the alternative housing type against other urban Hanok of Seoul in 1930s, the H-shaped houses of Kim, Jong-Ryang had characters as follows : 1) H-shaped house has two special characters. First, the whole space of a single house can be divided into a left region and a right region. Second, it can be divided to a front region and a rear region. In his H-shaped houses, the left/right division was expressed as folding of space-layers in parallel with urban streets. The front/rear division was used as classification of main-living space and sub-living space. 2) KJR`s H-shaped Japanese-Korean Style houses were proved to be designed as urban housing against the extreme housing shortage of Seoul in 1930s. 3) His houses however were not accepted broadly as a urban house type because the construction cost of those was higher than an average and the element of Japanese style house was not adapted to Korea. Kim, Jong-Ryang`s trial is valuable because it was the rare case of realization of many discourses as defects of existing house type. With more rigorous investigations on KJR`s experiment in modern house type, we could understand the housing condition of Seoul in 1930s and modern urban houses more than before.

The potato tuber moth (PTM, Phthorimaea operculella (Zeller)) is a serious pest of potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) plants in the field in regions with warm temperate to tropical climates, and of tubers stored under ambient temperatures post-harvest. Although PTM can be a minor to serious pest depending on the area and year, this pest is getting more and more serious to potato fields in Korea according to accidental surveys. Son (1979) represented 12.5℃ of average annual temperature as northern limit of distribution where corresponding to Youngdeog, Dalseong, Boseong and Jindo regions. Soon after, Choi and Park (1980) reported that the northern limit of PTM distribution coincided with -8℃ isotherm for average annual minimum temperature of January. In recent years, concerns on PTM occurrence and damage to potato are increasing due to climate change resulted in global warming. We carried out an extensive survey of PTM distribution using sex pheromone traps at 24 sites across the nation in 2009. As a result, we confirmed that the northern limit of PTM distribution climbed to southern Gyeonggi and middle Gangwon regions from Gyeongbuk and Chungbuk regions indicated by Choi and Park (1980). Hereafter, we are trying to investigate why drastic going northward of PTM happened in Korea. Here is one presumption that a sudden rise in average temperature has occurred during 30 years, from 6.34℃ in 1973 to 7.62℃ in 2007, especially around Daegwallyeong area where is a typical highland with 800 m high.

At the end of April, 2009, the number of mobile phone users reached about 46 million in Korea. Consequently, the mobile shopping market is growing rapidly, and fashion products are one of the most concerned categories in mobile shopping market. In the meantime, the growth rates of domestic fashion industry and fashion retail market are forecasted very slow. In this situation, however, the growth rate of on-line shopping market including internet shopping, TV home shopping, and mobile shopping is estimated more than 12% per year until 2010. Particularly, mobile shopping area is forecasted the most rapid growing field. The objective of this study were to confirm the factors which had influences on mobile fashion shopping and to examine the effects of these factors affect the attitude toward mobile fashion shopping and the using intention of mobile fashion shopping. With the results, marketing strategies for mobile fashion shopping companies would be proposed. Date were gathered from 125 respondents of 20's and 30's females and were analyzed by AMOS 7.0. The key points of the results are; 1) The 5 factors of instant access, individualization, amusement, usefulness and ease of use which extracted from preceding researches were confirmed as the characteristics of mobile fashion shopping, 2) among these factors, amusement and usefulness had positive influences on the attitude toward mobile fashion shopping, 3) reliability on mobile fashion shopping didn't had an influence on the attitude toward mobile fashion shopping significantly, but had a positive influence on the using intention of mobile fashion shopping directly, and 4) the attitude toward mobile fashion shopping affects using intention of mobile fashion shopping positively. With these results, mobile fashion shopping companies can establish marketing strategies from various angles.

Fe-Cr steels are the most promising candidate for interconnect in solid oxide fuel cells. In this study, an effective, dense and well adherent (LaSr)(CrCo) [LSCC] coating layer was produced onto 430 stainless steel (STS-430) by atmospheric plasma spraying and the oxidation behavior as well as electrical properties of the LSCC coated STS-430 were investigated. A significant oxidation of pristine STS-430 occurred at in air environment, leading to the formation of and scale layer up to after 1200h, and consequently increased an area specific resistance of . Although the plasma sprayed LSCC coating contained the characteristic pore network, the coated samples presented apparent advantages in reducing oxidation growth of STS-430, resulting a decrease in oxide scale thickness of at after 1200h. The area specific resistance of the LSCC coated STS-430 was much reduced to after exposure at for 1200h, compared to that of the pristine STS-403.

It is hot issue to get the competitiveness of product through reliability-growth as well as availability and safety in almost high-technology industry including military, chemistry, nuclear, telecommunication, transportation service and so on. In advanced countries, they experienced remarkable growth based on reliability technology in materials&parts industry as well as high-tech industry. It has become a symbol of national competitiveness and created a higher value added. This paper is taking on effectively developing ways to deploy IEC 60300 dependability management system and the base technology that are needed to improve competitiveness of industries in Korea.

It is hot issue to get the competitiveness of product through reliability-growth as well as availability and safety in almost high-technology industry including military, chemistry, nuclear, telecommunication, transportation service and so on. In advanced countries, worldwide leading companies have tried to improve and develop high-reliability product as well as reliability management system(IEC60300). We investigate reliability certification systems for product and management system. Additionally, we study the feasibility on the adoption of dependability management system(IEC60300) by empirical survey on companies with product-reliability certification(R-mark) in Korea.

Traumatic eosinophilic granuloma(TEG) of the oral mucosa is considered to be a reactive benign condition. Histology revealed diffuse mixed infiltration of eosinophil and atypical mononuclear cells. We have described an additional case of TEG simulating oral malignany where immunohistochemistry revealed the presence of CD30+ large atypical cells. The CD30+ lymphoproliferative disorder(LPD) of oral mucosa, although rare, has also been described. In this case, there was scattered distribution of CD30+ cells. After the incisional biopsy, the remainder of oral lesion got disappeared progressively and there is no sign of recurrence. We believe that this case could be a reactive rather than neoplastic process, and it has been suggested that a subset of TEG could be included within the spectrum of CD30+ LPDs. Therefore, oral surgeon and pathologists’ awareness of this condition will reduce the likelihood of misdiagnosis and inappropriate aggressive treatment for this benign, self-limiting lesion.

산느타리버섯(Pleurotus pulmonarius (Fr.) Quelet)은 담자균문, 주름버섯목, 송이과, 느타리 버섯속에 속하며 성숙한 갓의 모양은 폐모양이며 자실체는 여름에서 초가 을 사이에 침엽수의 죽은 부위에서 발생하며 항염증, 항콜 레스테롤, 항고지혈증의 생리활성을 가지고 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 실험은 새로운 유망 야생버섯을 개발하 기위하여 강원도 내·외에서 수집한 산느타리버섯 10계 통에 대하여 균사배양 특성 및 병재배시 자실체 특성을 검 정하여 수량 및 품질이 우수한 GWM-20107 등 4계통을 1차로 선발한 후 선발된 4계통의 단포자 분리 및 4계통간 교배를 하여 교배계통 600계통을 육성하고, 육성된 교배 계통에 대한 2차 선발을 하여 강원도 자생종 수집계통인 GWM20107와 GWM20148 과의 교배계통으로서 Ppm- 430 계통을 우량계통으로 선발하였다. 선발된 Ppm- 430계통의 주요 특성으로는 자실체 발생온도는 16∼ 18℃, 생육온도는 15∼17℃이며 850㎖ 병재배가 적합하 며 병재배시 군사배양기간은 32일이며 균긁기 후 초발이 소요일수는 3.4일이었다. 자실체의 발생형은 다발형, 갓 의 단면 형태는 얕은깔떼기형, 갓의 색깔은 흑갈색, 대의 색깔은 흰색, 갓에 대한 대의 부착형은 편심형, 수량은 850㎖병당 102.2g이었으며 맛과 색깔이 양호하였으며 적합한 배지조성은 미송톱밥25+면실박20+콘코브25+ 비트펄프30%이었다.
