        In this study, the behavior of column rebar in non-reinforced specimens (BF) was evaluated as part of the development of seismic retrofitting systems for public buildings such as school buildings. This is a very useful work because it can show the deformation state of the main bars according to the hysteretic behavior of lateral loads. When yielding the specimen, the main bar was yielded. and the deformation of stirrup at the inflection point position hardly occurred. These results will be used as a key index to evaluate the yield state of the structure from the deformation comparison of the reinforced specimens.

        Numerical behavior of GFRP(Fiber Reinforced Polymer) infill panel in steel frame structure was evaluated through the finite element analysis in this study. In order to numerical analysis, a experimental test results was used to develop a three dimensional finite element model of steel frame specimen. Based on the developed three dimensional finite element model of steel frame specimen, the behavior of GFRP infill panel in the steel frame specimen was evaluated. From the numerical analysis results, strength of the steel frame specimen with GFRP infill panel was governed by GFRP infill panel. Also, diagonal compression behavior governed the GFRP infill panel in the steel frame specimen in the numerical analysis results.

        Due to recent climate changes, damage to the soundproof wall due to typhoons and strong winds is on the rise. This study determine the fragility curve of aluminum frame, which is a weak member of the soundproofing wall, due to strong wind. The fragility was analyzed in term of aluminum frame thickness variation. Finite element analysis of the wall was performed with ABAQUS, a commercial program. Random wind loads applied to the structures were generated using the Monte Carlo simulation technique. Also, the limit state was set based on the analysis results. The fragility curves were developed with consideration of three influential factors which are installation location, wind exposure and thickness aluminium frame of soundproof wall.

        본 연구는 모바일 피트니스 게임에서 제공하는 메시지 프레임에 따라 사용자 경험의 차이를 검증한 연구로 지각된 혜택, 심리적 웰빙, 운동앱 애착, 운동 성취감의 변인이 분석에 사용되었 다. 이를 위해 반복측정설계(Repeated Measure Design)와 플레이테스트(Playtest) 방법론을 채 택하여 실험연구를 진행하였다. 연구결과 모바일 피트니스 게임에서 이득 메시지를 제시할 때 손실 메시지를 제시했을 때보다 지각된 혜택, 심리적 웰빙, 운동앱 애착, 운동 성취감 경험의 정도가 더 높게 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 건강 기능성 게임을 통해 설득 메시지를 제시할 경우 이득메시지가 손실메시지보다 건강 기능성 게임 사용자에게 좀 더 효과적으로 전달될 수 있다는 것을 강조하고 있다.

        This study proposed a seismic isolation system which uses the LM guide featuring high hardness and low frictional coefficient and a viscoelastic damper possessing high restitution force and damping force in order that existing seismic isolation systems using conventional sliding bearing way can be applied to a structure, and intended to analyze the proposed seismic isolation system's utilization possibility as a seismic isolation system for rescue through an experiment utilizing 6 earthquake waves being entered according to the reoccurrence cycle on the basis of performance-based design, and the case of Kyungju earthquake and to interpret the results of experiment.

        A finite element analysis modeling is proposed to evaluate welding joint part of steel-frame. Based on the experimental results, A finite element analysis model was proposed to analyze the welding joint of steel-frame specimens. The numerical results predicted the experimental behavior of the welding joint of steel-frame specimens well. Therefore, it is possible to use the proposed finite element analysis model to evaluate middleand low-rise steel-frame buildings constructed in South Korea.

        In this study, the shake table test of the damaged reinforced concrete frame was carried out and the damage and dynamic response characteristics were evaluated. The static lateral-cyclic test for the specimen was followed by the dynamic test. As a result of the shake table test, damage was concentrated on existing cracks and the maximum inter-story drift ratio was calculated as 1.94% at the final excitation step.

        As development of the construction technique, new composite material has been developed and research on structures made of this material is needed recently. In this study, curved composite laminated frame structure with four ply is analyzed using shell elements. There are six angle change cases and maximum vertical displacement with case 2 and 6 which have ±45 degree is smaller than other cases’ displacements.

        The water tanks are widely used for the safe storage of potable water, which are installed on either the basement or the top floor inside of the buildings. Therefore, the water tank systems assembled with many unit panels are generally adopted and the rectangular plan water tanks are most popular. To resist the water pressure acting on the side walls of tanks the internally reinforced system using metal tie-bars has been most commonly used. However, many problems related to the lattice internal reinforcement system require the development of the externally reinforced water tank, which does not have any latticed tie bars inside the tank. In this study two different systems have been developed using the external steel frames with either the SMC water tank panels or the PosMAC(coated steel) water tank panels. The experimental tests have been performed under the static hydraulic loadings as well as the seismic loadings through the shaking table test.

        본 연구는 MIDAS-Gen을 사용하여 골조-전단벽 구조에서 상부 전단벽의 미배치에 대한 구조적인 효과를 검토하였다. 본 연구에서 는 해석 변수로 상부 전단벽의 미배치 층수, 상하 기둥 단면 치수의 변화, 상하 전단벽 두께 치수의 변화를 설정하였다. 골조-전단벽 구조에서 상부 전단벽의 미배치에 대한 구조적인 효과를 검토하기 위하여 전단벽의 미배치에 따른 전단력/전도모멘트 분포, 전단벽의 변곡점, 수평강성 에 대하여 비교분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 골조-전단벽 구조에서 상부 전단벽의 미배치가 수평강성과 같은 구조성능에 미치는 영향을 정량 적으로 제시하였다. 더욱이 본 연구의 결과는 합리적인 골조-전단벽 구조를 위한 구조설계 자료를 제공하는데 도움이 된다고 확인하였다.

        최근 연구개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있는 철골 조립식주택은 공장에서 생산되고 현장에서 조립되는 건설방식의 특성으로 인해 일 반 건축물의 철근콘크리트 바닥판과 같이 일체타설 시공되지 못하게 되며 부재 단면크기 감소 및 경량화 등으로 인해 거주자의 활동에 의한 바 닥판의 수직진동 및 처짐이 사용성 평가 측면에서 중요한 문제가 될 수 있다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 대상 조립식주택에서 장변방향 보 중앙에 샛기둥이 설치된 모듈과 설치되지 않은 모듈을 대상으로 실무에서 일반적으 로 사용되고 있는 AISC 설계지침서 11의 계산식(이하 AISC 계산식)을 이용하여 바닥판의 진동성능을 평가하고 범용해석프로그램을 이용한 해석결과와 비교를 통해 AISC 계산식의 적용성을 고찰하였다. 이를 토대로 샛기둥이 설치된 모듈의 바닥판에서 AISC 계산식과 해석결과의 오차가 크게 발생되는 구조적 원인을 분석하고 이를 고려하는 방안을 제시하였다. 또한 대상 조립식주택 바닥판에 대한 진동성능 향상방안을 변수로 해석모델을 수립하고 진동응답해석 및 경제성평가를 통해 진동성능과 경제성이 우수한 방안을 제시하였다.

        This study assesses the adequacy of a critical value of the FEMA 273 for beams utilized in the present performance-based design. From the comparison the critical values of FEMA 273 with those of previous experimental result about beams, it was shown that FEMA 273 underestimated the critical values. Therefore, it is necessary to perform a research to find the hysteresis model for the performance-based design considering the hysteretic behavior of domestic reinforced concrete members.

        This paper describes the effect of steel frame on seismic performance of non-ductile reinforced concrete (RC) frame. To achieve the this objective, RC frames were made based on existing school building constructed in 1980s. Test results indicated that RC frame retrofitted with steel frame was improved the seismic performance than conventional RC frame.
