The construction industry in Korea after the Korean-war has evolved until these days. But the construction industry accident severity rate and frequency is over then the All industry rate. This study analyzed the 'Disaster Statistical Yearbook' of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, based on the factors that affect construction accidents that is selected and fined the some factors the construction Disaster Prevention Factors. This study will develop the methodology for analyzes that the national qualification is effected to the construction industrial machine disaster prevention status. It suggest two ways to the establishment of disaster trends. First way is the disaster quantitative analysis and second way is comparing the statistical data and the analysis of expert opinion

There are two kind of method to perform a safety management in industrial field. One is a management by safety manager employed in company and another one is safety management by acting agency. In case of the company that managed by the acting agency dose not coincide with the state of company and safety management performance because of the safety management is carry out by periodically. Therefore it is considered that the sufficient safety management is difficult. And a company that employ a safety manager also show a low level of safety management compare with the advanced country in view of safety and health. From the statistics of accident rate of the company, it is necessary that an improved safety management through the studying and analysing a coverall matters for the company that managed by acting company.

The occupational safety and health expenses in construction since 1988 has contributed significantly to the reduction of injury occurrence rate. But accounted basis and criteria used of the occupational safety and health expenses have been pointed out so many issues. The purpose of this study, perform analysis of the effectiveness of the occupational safety and health expenses through the reviewing of several issues about the current system and analysis of existing statistical data. Based on the result of the research, it is concluded that the contribution survey of the occupational safety and health expenses on the safety accident prevention program qualitatively evaluated as an average of 4.39(standard deviatin 0.652) on the five point scale based was very positive.

The efficient safety estimation for a business should analyze an accident data by considering every possible and potential factor. Thus, we consider several factors to build the safety estimation model to meet fairness and rationality. This paper present the yearly statistic data of accident from KOSHA analyze the data by industry, scale, year of service of a employee, age and other factors; build the safety estimation model for the business based on the accident report derived the analysis. The estimation model is established by the weights for accident type, degree, scale, industry, year of service, and age of the employee derived from AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process).

Since it's first adaptation in Germany in 1884, the industrial accident compensation insurance system has been on the most widely used social security systems, and in was first enforced in Korea in 1964. Today's society has been industrialized and number of business places for workers accident. As the welfare of workers improves in korea, the number of beneficiaries of industrial accident compensation insurance is increasing. Even though such trend is desirable in many respects, there is a growing social problem caused by abnormal insurance claims.

Garbage cause an environmental pollution, unsightly mess, fouls an odor, and unpleasant feeling. Various measures to solve the problems are studying. And the garbage are collected and treated by the street cleaner. Street cleaner is working for long time in the street from dawn to the night. And many kind of accidents are aroused, like traffic and crushing accident by garbage truck. This kind of accidents is increased every year. To prevent the accident, street cleaner wear a fluorescent light uniform But a count measures for the fallen accident and crushing accident from the garbage truck are insufficient. In addition, a street cleaner dose not like to wear a working uniform because of inconvenience. Therefore this study try to find a safety system of garbage truck for reducing measure of accidents of street cleaner.

This study was designed to analyse the performance and the mechanisms of workers' participation and communications in industrial accident prevention activities leading to the reduction of industrial accidents. This study also aimed to find out the causal relationship influencing the promotion of prevention activities of industrial accidents. Of the manufacturing businesses with more than 5 workers as the population of the survey, a questionnaire was conducted with 2,500 workspaces chosen by stratified sampling. Out of 2500 workspaces, 971 workspaces equipped with industrial safety and health committee were analysed in this study. According to the results of this study, the primary influential factors on safety activities were the management of industrial accidents and the cooperations between supervisors and workers on site. The secondary influential factor was the establishment of industrial safety and health committee. Regarding the effectiveness of industrial accident reduction, -0.01 was shown by workplace safety activities by themselves and -0.09 was shown by participation and communications through indirect safety activities. This indicated workers' participation and communications play an important role in the reduction of industrial accidents. By discovering the clue to the mechanism of the workers' participation and communications, this study is expected to stimulate the reduction of industrial accidents by emphasizing the importance of workers' participation and communications in resolving the safety and health problem in the workplaces.

목적 : 본 연구에서는 작업치료 서비스를 이용하고 있는 산업재해 환자와 일반 환자의 일반적 특성과 건강관련 삶의 질(SF-36)을 측정하여, 이들 두 군의 삶의 질 수준과 이에 영향을 주는 요소들을 조사하고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 산업재해 환자와 일반 환자의 일반적 특성 및 삶의 질을 알아보기 위하여 2007년 3월부터 8월까지 산재의료관리원 산하 3개 병원과 서울, 인천과 서산에서 4개 종합병원의 작업치료실에 조사를 의뢰하였다. 조사대상자는 사고나 질병발생 이전에 선천적인 장애가 없었고 직업을 가졌던 경험이 있으며, 설문의 문항을 이해하고 응답하는 데 인지적인 문제가 없는 산업재해 환자 121명과 일반 환자 74명이었다. 결과 : SF-36의 총점에서 산업재해 환자는 일반 환자에 비해 삶의 질이 유의하게 낮았고, SF-36의 8개 범주 중에서는 신체적 기능과 정신건강 범주에서 산업재해 환자의 삶의 질이 일반 환자에 비해 유의하게 낮았다. 일반적 특성이 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 산업재해 환자에서는 연령과 직업복귀 가능성이었으며, 일반 환자에서는 치료기간이 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 요인임을 알 수 있었다.

Ultimate goal of this research is to develop a web-based forecasting system of industrial accidents. As an initial step for the purpose of this study, this paper provides a comparative analysis of 4 kinds of algorithms including CHAID, CART, C4.5, and QUEST. In addition, this paper presents the logical process for development of a forecasting system. Decision tree algorithm is utilized to predict results using objective and quantified data as a typical technique of data mining. The sample for this work was chosen from 10,536 data related to manufacturing industries during three years(2002~2004) in korea.

The state and its proper countermeasures of unreported industrial accidents in Gyungbuk area was investigated throughout a survey research. The goal of the study was to identify major factors that affect the number and causes of unreported accidents. Results from the survey indicated that significant number of unreported accidents exists especially in the small and medium sized industries. Types of the accidents, amount of increase in the insurance cost and level of the governmental enforcement due to the accidents were the major factors for deciding whether to report or not. These results suggested more compromising actions have to be taken by the government for revealing the present but unreported industrial accidents. A more efficient way for preventing the industrial accidents can be considered on the basis of true understanding about real industrial accident statistics.

If you examine the Industrial Disaster Analysis Content that occurs every year in the small and medium enterprise, industrial disaster occurs because of manager's lack of safety and worker's unprepared safety education. Therefore effective safety education systems are needed to offer adequate knowledge and technology to the workers. On this research, to give an effective education way to decrease industrial disaster we administered to the workers who are in charge of 300 workplace in Incheon area to search actual condition of industrial disaster and to disclose a link between industrial disaster and industrial safety education. We put in effect on frequency study and examined x2 using SPSSWIN 10.0. On the research, the results shows that the industrial safety education and training are in effect regularly and the satisfaction are low. But the manager's satisfactions are high through safety education. So it shows that we need to find a way to put in effect safety education to satisfy the workers.
