        본 연구에서는 국립수산진흥원 소속 부산 851호에 의해 1987~1990년 (4개년)과 1992~1993년 (2개년)의 하계 (7~9월)에 북태평양 (34˚~47˚N, 150˚ E~170˚W)에서 오징어채낚기 (오징어손줄낚시)에 의해 시험조업하여 어획된 6종의 오징어를 대상으로 하여 분석한 오징어종류별 어획수충, 해양환경(수온, 염분) 및 어획률을 분석하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 문어오징어는 아한대영역의 위도 41˚~43˚N 인 71~80m 수층의 수온 6~11℃, 염분 33.2~33.6‰인 해역에서 높은 어획률을 보였다. 2. 갈구리오징어는 아한대영역의 위도 41˚~42˚N인11~20m 수층의 수온 10~12℃, 염분 32.9~33.6‰인 해역에서 높은 어획률을 보였다. 3. 살오징어는 아한대영역 및 이행영역의 위도 40˚ 및 42˚N인 11~20m 수층의 수온 15~18℃,염분 33.6~34.0‰인 해역에서 높은 어획률을 보였다. 4. 빨강오징어는 아한대수렴선 및 이행영역의 위도 39˚~41˚N인 표층~10m 수층의 수온 16~17℃, 염분 33.7~34.4‰인 해역에서 높은 어획률을 보였다. 5. 두줄무늬빨강오징어는 아열대영역의 위도 37˚~39˚N인 11~20m 수층의 수온 18~20℃, 염분 33.8~34.6‰인 해역에서 높은 어획률을 보였다. 6. 노랑점빨강오징어는 아열대영역의 위도 36˚~37˚N인 표층~10m 수층의 수온 24~25℃, 염분 34.2~34.4‰‰ 인 해역에서 높은 어획률을 보였다.

        This paper, examines the relationship between water temperatures and fishing conditions of common squid by the squid angling fishery from June to September in 1993-1995. The condition of the common squid fishing largely depended on the fluctuation of water temperature in the coastal area of Gampo. Monthly mean water temperatures during June m September in 1993 and 1994 were relatively higher than those in 1995 in Gampo area. But the values between July and August in 1995 were about 5℃ lower than those in 1993 and 1995. Coefficients of variation (CV) of water temperature showed the lowest value during July ~ September in 1993, however, the highest value was observed in July and August in 1994. Catch per unit effort (CPUE ; kg/angling) showed a peak with 73.7kg in 1993 when the CV was low. On the other hand, the lowest CPUE of 39.6kg was observed in 1994 when the CV was high. It was concluded that the high stability of water temperatures and the weak strength of cold water have caused the good fishing conditions of common squid.

        Microbial distribution as well as content of salt and preservatives in side dishes was investigated by analyzing cell count of viable cells, coliform bacteria and food poisoning bacteria of sliced squid bokum and anchovy bokum, purchased at 17 dift'erent department stores and 2 different traditional markets in Seoul, which are most preferred by many consumers to any other side dishes available in the market. 6.2 × 10³-1.2 × 10^5 cells/g of viable cells was detected in 19 different samples of the sliced squid bokum, among which samples collected at the traditional markets counted the highest number of viable cells. 16 samples of the sliced squid bokum and 14 samples of the anchovy bokum contained 10³-10^8 cells/g of coliform group. However food poisoning bacteria were not detected in all the samples tested. Salt content was 2.42-4.89 %w/w and 2.28-6.46 %w/w for the sliced squid bokum and the anchovy bokum respectively. Analysis of preservatives by HPLC such as sorbic acid, benzoic acid, dehydroacetic acid and another 6 kinds of esters resulted that 1.0× 73.8 mg/100 g of sorbic acid was detected in the 19 samples of the sliced squid bokum, while only 6 samples of the 15 anchovy bokum samples contained sorbic acid.

        제주도 연안에서 조업하는 오징어 채낚이 어업에서 수중 음향집어법을 개발하기 위하여 제작한 수중확성기의 주파수 특성실험을 행하고, 또한 이 확성기로 수중 가청음을 수중에서 방성하였을 때 오징어 어군이 유집 반응을 조사.분석한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 제작한 수중 확성기의 측정 주파수는 500Hz 측정에서 높은 음압을 나타내었다. 2. 제작한 수중 확성기의 육상 수조 및 해중 실험에서 측정 주파수 250~600Hz의 입력 파형과 츨력 파형은 거의 일치하였다. 3. 야간에 집어등으로 유집된 오징어 어군의 수중 소음의 중심 주파수는 300~400Hz 정도이었다. 4. 제작한 수중 확성기로 주파수 300Hz와 400Hz의 수중 가청 단속음을 수심 10m에서 방성하였을 때 오징어 어군은 유집 반응을 보였다.

        Drift gillnet fishery for neon flying squid in the North pacific was one of the major pelagic fisheries of Korea until 1992, its annual catch was 79, 000M/T as average during 1988-1992, but moratoriumed since 1993 according to the decision of UN. Therefore, for the developing of the new fishing gear for the squid, the seven types of rip hook by automatic squid jigging machine were experimented by the korean research vessel Pusan 851 (G/T 1.126, 2.600 PS) in the North Pacific (38 ˚30'-43 ˚N, 152 ˚E-178 ˚W) from July 6. 1993 to August 31. 1993. The investigation on catch rate, dropout rate, and catch condition of the rip hooks related to the fishing lamp power for aggregating the squid were carried out during the period. The results obtained are as follows: The composition of catch by automatic squid jigging machine was 83.9% for neon flying squid. 15.5% for boreopacific gonate squid. 0.6% for boreal clubhook squid, and 0.01% for luminous flying squid. The catch rate of neon flying squid was 94.6% in 13.6-18.3℃ of surface water temperature and 5.4% in others. The higher catch rate of neon flying squid was made in the range 13.6-18.3℃ of temperature at the surface and about 10℃ of temperature at the 100m layer. The CPUE of neon flying squid in the 13.6-18.3℃ of surface water temperature was ranged 0.8-11.8kg (8.7kg as average). The mantle length and body weight of neon flying squid caught in the experiment were ranged 18.3-51.3 cm, 140-3, 980g and mean mantle length and mean body weight were 29.4cm, 972g respectively. The catch rate of neon flying squid was the highest at dawn with a value of 25.0% of the total catch. The body weight of neon flying squid caught by the D type hooks was 1.7 times more than that of the A type hooks. The dropout rate of neon flying squid caught by the seven types hooks was 7.9-57.5% (19.0% as average), and dropout rate of the D type hooks was 7.9% with 2.7 times decrease than that of the A type hooks. The catch efficiency of small sized neon flying squid in case of using on-off switch method on fishing lamp in 15 minutes intervals was 2.6 times higher than that of the on-switch method with same fishing lamp power.

        In order to establish one of the forecasting model for the fishing conditions of squid angling fisheries in the Eastern Korea Sea, the catch data for the years of 1955~1991 and the water temperature data for the years of 1979~1990 were analysed, and then some parameters, that is, the water temperature normal year anomaly in the spawning and the rapidly growing season, the adult resource amount and etc were examined statistically correlation with the catch fluctuation of the main fishing seasons. From the result, authors suggested a formula as a forecasting model, Y=25785+1099X sub(1)+1074X sub(2)+6.033X sub(3)+3.95X sub(4)+1.330X sub(5)(M/T)(R super(2)=0.867, P<0.01) in the case that Y is the yearly catch, X sub(1) and X sub(2) are the water temperature normal year anomalies in October and December of the previous year and that in February and April, and X sub(3), X sub(4) and X sub(5) are the catches in October, in September, in November of previous year respectively. Because these parameters could be checked in earlier time of a half year before the main fishing season, this model was assumed to be very useful for the prediction of fishing conditions of squid angling fisheries.

        Lipid levels in the tissues of liver and intestines of O.bartrami amounted to 40.0% and 1.5%. The new compounds was found to be ethyl acylates, from a deduction of their detailed 1H-nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) and 13C-NMR as well as infra red spectra (IR). The fatty acid composition of total lipids were mainly composed of C16:0(19.0%), C18:1(16.2%) and C22:6Ω3(15.7%), followed by C20:1(9.4%), C22:1(6.4%) and C18:0(5.4%). New compound A and B were seemed to derived from the cleavage of glycerol moieties of triglycerides by microbial activities during storage in a frozen state. Compound A contained C16:0(38.2%), C18:1(13:4%), C20:1(13.3%) and C22:1(11.7%) as major components, while compound B predominantly comprised polyunsaturated fatty acid such as C20:5Ω3 (41.2%) and C22:6Ω3(36.1%). In both compounds small amounts of odd numbered fatty acids were also detected (3.8~2.2%).

        북태평양 오징어 유자망어장의 표면수온과 어획량의 변화에 의한 어장의 수평분포를 최근 4개년간(1986~1989)의 주어기(5~10월)에 한국 어업기술훈련소, 국립수산진흥원, 일본 북해도대학, 대림수산(주), 오양수산(주) 등이 작성한 해양관측자료에서 발췌한 표면수온자료와 한국 어업기술훈련소 실습선과 이 어업에 종사한 어선 5척에서 조사한 어획량의 자료를 위도 1˚, 경도 2˚ 간격으로 구획한 해구에 대하여 전질처리한 평균표면수온과 단위노력당어획량을 월별로 분석하면 다음과 같다. 1. 어장형성범위는 5월에는 35˚~40˚N, 178˚~166˚W , 6월에는 36˚~41˚N, 178˚E~166˚W, 7월에는 38˚~44˚N, 170˚E~170˚W, 8월에는 39˚~44˚N, 144˚~180˚E, 9월에는 39˚~44˚N, 144˚~170˚E, 10월에는 40˚~44˚N, 144˚~154˚E였다. 2. 어장의 분산은 5, 6, 10월에는 경도방향과 위도방향의 해구수가 거의 같았고, 7, 8, 9월에는 경도방향의 해구수가 많았으며, 특히 8월은 1년중 경도방향의 분산이 가장 컸고, 어장중심은 5월에는 3888해구, 6월에는 3884해구, 7월에는 4078해구, 8월에는 4154해구, 9월에는 4146해구, 10월에는 4044해구였다. 3. 어획수온과 어획적수온은 5월에는 14.0~18.5℃, 15.0~16.0℃, 6월에는 13.5~18.5℃, 14.5~16.0℃, 7월에는 14.0~20.0℃, 14.5℃, 19.0℃, 8월에는 16.0~21.5℃, 18.0~20.0℃, 9월에는 14.5~22.0℃, 17.0~18.5℃, 10월 14.0~18.0℃, 16.0~17.0℃였다. 4. 평균CPUE는 5월에는 3.2kg/sheet, 6월에는 4.5kg/sheet, 7월에는 4.3kg/sheet, 8월에는 5.1kg/sheet, 9월에는 6.4kg/sheet, 10월에는 5.8kg/sheet였다. 5. 한국정부의 1990년 북태평양 오징어 어업감시계획과 실제의 어장형성범위를 비교하면 5월에는 어장이 형성된 21개 해구 가운데 12개, 6월에는 24개 가운데 7개, 7월에는 25개 가운데 4개 해구에서 조업이 규제되고, 8월 이후의 어장에서는 어업규제수역에 해당되는 해구가 없는 것으로 나타났다.

        The fishing conditions of flying squid, ommastrePhes barsram(Lesueur), in the North Pacific Ocean was studied based on the horizontal water temperature data, satellite data from NOAA and statistical data of flying squid fisheries which were collected from 1980 to 1984. The obtained results were as follows; 1. Since 1979, the Korean drift giIlnet fishery for flying squid was launched in North Pacific. Number of operating vessel and catch of flying squid increased gradually every year. The number of vessels were 111 and their annual catches were 42, 977 M/T in 1984. Therefore, Korean drift giIlnet fishery for this species has played an important role in the products of Korean high-sea fisheries. 2. In the beginning of the fisheries, fishing grounds was formed in the west of long. 1800E. In 1982, in consequence of the center which extended eastward, the fishing ground was formed long. 166˚W in the central North Pacific Ocean. Since 1983, the fishing grounds were formed as far as long. 161˚W. The range of general fishing season in the central North Pacific was from June to August. After september, fishing ground was shifted to the west, in the Northwestern Pacific. 3. The Predominant fishing season for the flying squid was August through January of the coming year. Optimum water temperature for flying sguid at surface layer in the Pacific Ocean ranged from 11 ˚e to 17˚e in winter, 13˚e to 17˚e in spring, 12. 8˚C to 19.7˚e in summer and 1O.6˚e -18.7˚e in fall. 4. In summer, the Oceanographic condition in the North Pacific Ocean showed that the water temperature at surface layer was lower in 1980, 1983 and higher in 1981, 1982 and 1984 as compared with mean annual water temperature. 5. The characteristics df oceanographic conditions in the fluation, disformation, mixing and other factors of the Kuroshio and Oyashio currents, which have considerably influenced upon the water masses of the areas. 6. The data and information on surface thermal Structure interpreted from Infrared Satellite Imaginary from NOAA-7 and NOAA-8 are very available in estimating water temperature on the areas and investigating the major fishing grounds. 7. According to the fisheries statics of Japanese drift gilInet, the annual catches of flying squid considerably decreased from 225, 942 M/T in 1983 to 133, 217 M/T in 1984. 8. The fishing grounds in the central North Pacific in several fishing seasons were formed as follows: In June, the initial fishing season, the fishing grounds were formed in the vicinity of lat. 35 - 40oN, the central North Pacific east of 179˚E. In July, the fishing ground were formed in the wide arEa of the central North Pacific north of 400N and long. 174˚E-145˚W In Auguest, concentrative fishing operation carried out in :he central North Pacific north of 43˚N and East of 165˚W. On the other hand, in September, main fishing grounds were disappeared and moved to the west.

        The paper deals the fishing condition of the stern trawlers operated in the Atlantic coast of Africa. The datas are gathered from the Korean stern trawlers operated in the area from June, 1975 to May, 1976. The obtained results are summarized as follows: 1. The mean catch per haul are calculated as, cuttle fish 14.5kg, large size squid(more than :lOOg of body weight) 28.2kg, small size squid(less than 300g) 36.4kg, octopus 47.0kg. 2. Small size cuttle fish(less than5OOg of body weight) are caught much during after spring tide in July to September, yet, large size ClIttle fish(more than 500g) are caught much during neap tide in October to January. 3. Small size squid(less than 300g of body weight) are cBught much during after spring tide in October to December, yet, large size squid(more than 3OOg) are caught much during before spring tide in October to March. 4. Octopus are caught during neap tide in July to August.

        Catch data for the common squid (Todarodes pacificus), classified by squid-jigging fisheries per grid (size: 0.5° latitude × 0.5° longitude), and the water temperature values KODC (Korea Ocean Data Center) were collected for the 1980–2009 period to study the changes in squid distribution and migration with climate regimes (1980s, 1990s, and 2000s). The primary fishing period in the 1990s and 2000s was approximately 2–3 months earlier than that in the 1980s. Especially in the East Sea, the fishing grounds in the 1980s stayed longer at high latitudes than those in the other decades. Moreover, in the 1980s, centers of the fishing ground were located near the Yamato bank (central East Sea), whereas in the 1990s and 2000s, they were situated near the southeastern coast of the Korean peninsula.

        식품의 방사선 조사는 식품 저장을 위한 성공적인 현대기술의 하나이지만 매우 신중하게 이루어져야 한다. 조사된 식품의 확인은 국제무역에서 소비자의 안전한 선택과 보호를 위해 가장 중요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 건조된 오징어와 문어에 전자선을 조사하여 선량별로 유도 생성되는 hydrocarbon류의 함량 및 분해패턴을 확인하였다. 비조사 시료와 선량별로 전자선 조사된 시료에서 지방을 추출한 뒤 solid phase extraction(SPE)방법을 이용하여 GC/MS로 확인하였다. 1, 3, 5, 7 및 10 kGy의 선량으로 전자선 조사된 건조 오징어와 문어에서 유도된 hydrocarbon류는 동일 선량에서 시료들의 지방산 조성에 따른 다른 생성률을 나타내었으며, 조사선량에 따라 증가하였다. 시료들에 다량 함유되어 있는 palmitic acid와 stearic acid로부터 생성된 1-tetradecene(C14:1), pentadecane(C15:0), 그리고 1-hexadecene(C16:1), heptadecane(C17:0)이 전자선 조사에 의해 유도된 주요 hydrocarbon류로 확인되었으며, 건오징어에서 hydrocarbon류 생성량이 건문어의 hydrocarbon류 생성량 보다 더 많음을 확인하였다. 이는 시료의 지방산 함유량에 따라 hydrocarbon류 생성량이 비례함을 알 수 있었다. 전자선 조사된 건오징어와 건문어에서 분석된 hydrocarbon류 중 1-tetradecene(C14:1), 1-hexadecene(C16:1) 그리고 heptadecane(C17:0)은 전자선 조사여부를 판별할 수 있는 지표로 활용될 수 있을 거라 사료된다.

        Baechu kimchi without cuttlefish (control), baechu kimchi with cuttlefish (CK), cuttlefish baechu kimchi with yogurt (CK+Y), and cuttlefish baechu kimchi with vitamin C (CK+VC) were prepared, and the fermentation characteristics of the prepared kimchi samples were investigated during 28 days of fermentation at 4℃. The levels of moisture, crude lipid, and crude ash did not differ much among the samples, but the crude protein levels of CK, CK+Y, and CK+VC were greater than that of the control. The pH values of CK+Y and CK+VC slowly decreased compared with those of the control and CK during fermentation. The acidity increased sharply until 21 days then gradually increased thereafter. The total microbial counts achieved maximum levels at 21 days, and the kimchi to which yogurt and vitamin C were added showed values lower than that of the control. The number of Leuconostoc sp. in CK+Y and CK+VC was higher than that in the control. In our sensory evaluations, cuttlefish kimchi with yogurt or vitamin C scored highest in terms of texture, sour taste, ripened taste, and overall acceptability.
