        The present study was conducted to investigate effect of dietary protected amino acid on milk yield and composition in dairy cow using meta-analysis. Total 21 research papers were employed in analysis, and mixed model was used for the analysis of effects. Effect of protected methionine (PM) and combination of protected methionine and lysine (PML) were investigated under two different levels of dietary crude protein (CP, <18% and >18%). For performance of dairy cow, milk yield, milk composition including milk fat and protein content and yield and 4% FCM (fat corrected milk) production were used for analysis. In case of milk yield, a trend of increment was found at PM supplementation at low CP (P=0.055). However, the effect of PM at high CP was detected as not significant (P>0.05). In case of milk protein, inclusion of PM at low CP showed significant decrement (P<0.05). However, there was no significant effect of MP on milk protein at high CP (P>0.05). Supplementation of MP at high CP level showed significant increment of milk fat (P<0.05). MP supplementation represented significant increment of 4% FCM production (P<0.05) regardless of dietary CP levels. Effects of PML on milk yield and composition at both of low and high dietary CP were not significant in this study. However, it seem to be that there was a possible positive effect of MPL application at high dietary CP on performance of dairy cow.

        The aim of the present study was to determine the effect of dietary cultured wild ginseng root (CWGR) supplementation on goat milk composition and ginsenoside profiles. Sixteen Saanen dairy goats were allocated to two balanced groups based on lactation period, body weight (38.6 ± 3.2 kg), and dairy milk yield (2.85 ± 1.2 kg), and were kept in separate pens. Goats were fed a total mixed ration (TMR) feed (2.3 kg/d, dry matter basis) and 1.5 g of CWGR powder was supplemented in the experimental diet. The total feeding period was 3 weeks, and milk and blood samples were collected on the last three days of the experimental period. There was no effect of CWGR on daily milk yield and milk composition (fat, protein, lactose, and solid-not-fat). However, the CWGR-treatment group had significantly higher plasma IgG and protein contents than the control group (P < 0.05). Significant amounts of ginsenosides were observed in the milk of the CWGR-treatment group, whereas ginsenosides were not detected in the milk of the control group. In conclusion, dietary CWGR was a useful regimen to produce functional goat milk enriched in ginsenosides.

        High temperature impairs rice grain yield and quality. To understand the effect of high temperature on leaf physiological activity and grain filling, two cultivars of rice that Dongan and Ilpum were exposed to high temperature during ripening stage. Grain filling rate, perfect grain ratio and grain weight of high temperature (27℃±4℃) treated both rice cultivars were decreased than those of control temperature (22℃±4℃) treated. The reduction rates of grain filling ratio, perfect grain ratio and grain weight of high temperature treated to control treated rice were higher in Ilpum than Dongan. Chlorophyll contents of rice leaves under high temperature at early ripening stage were higher than those of control temperature, but those were slowly decreased with no difference between temperature treatment since at mid ripening stage. Although chlorophyll a/b ratio under high temperature was decreased from heading to 15 days after heading, that was gradually increased since 15 days after heading. Protein concentrations of rice leaves for ripening stage was a similar pattern with chlorophyll changes. The rate of photosynthesis at 14 days after heading under high temperature was higher than those of control temperature, but there was no difference at those of 7 and 34 days after heading between two temperature treatment. Free sugars under high temperature treated leaves were lower than control temperature. Consequently, these results exhibit that high temperature accelerate leaf physiological activity as chlorophyll synthesis and photosynthesis rate unlike the deterioration of grain filling.

        This study was performed to evaluate the drying characteristics of food waste in oil vacuum evaporation system withdrying conditions and composition of food waste. The food waste was collected and separated into 4 categories such asvegetables, fruits, grain (rice), meats and others. which composition were 41.9%, 26.7%, 2.8%, 25.5% and 0.4%,respectively. Each food waste separated was dried and compared its characteristics in the same condition of vacuumpressure (−450mmHg), temperature (110oC) and mixing ratio (oil:food waste=1:1) for 90min of drying period. Theexperimental results showed that the moisture contents of dried vegetables, fruits and meats were less than 10%. Howeverthe grain was hard to be dried which moisture content was much high as 24.5%. This high value of the grain was thoughtdue to the viscosity of grain which prohibit oil penetration and water vaporization during drying process. In order tocompare drying characteristics with operating parameters, vacuum pressure, temperature and mixing oil type were changed.The operating temperature and vacuum pressure were major sensitive parameters. As the temperature increase and thepressure lower, the drying rate of food waste was increased and its efficiency was also improved. Especially, the moisturecontent of dried food waste was lower than 5% which was satisfied SRF standard 10% at the temperature over 110oC.Compared the effect of mixing oil type, waste cooking oil was more effective than refined oil in viewpoint of dryingefficiency. However, there is no difference of drying efficiency between fresh and waste cooking oil.

        The antioxidant activity and amino acid composition of various Cheonggukjang extracts, such as the water extract from Cheonggukjang (CWE), the alcohol extract from Cheonggukjang (CEE), the water extract from Cheonggukjang with black garlic (BWE) and the alcohol extract from Cheonggukjang with black garlic (BEE), were examined to investigate the effect of black garlic on the sensory quality and functional properties of Cheonggukjang. The total polyphenol contents of various extracts were 7.03 mg/100 g (BWE), 3.64 mg/100 g (CWE), 2.88 mg/100 g (BEE) and 0.81 mg/100 g (CEE). The radical scavenging activity of the DPPH radical was highest in BWE (91.83%), followed by BEE (37.35%), CWE (25.54%) and CEE (14.80%), in that order. The SOD-like activity was highest in BWE (20.20%), followed by BEE (9.22%), CWE (7.91%) and CEE (6.45%). The thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) were highest in BWE (35.18%), followed by BEE (28.33%), CWE (17.40%) and CEE ((14.93%). The total amino acid content of Cheonggukjang (CC) was higher than that of Cheonggukjang with black garlic (CCWB), but the essential amino acid content of CCWB (43.18%) was higher than that of CC (42.27%). The 27 kinds of free amino acid were found in CC, but only 23 kinds were found in CCWB. The L-lysine content was highest (9.23%) in CC, and the L-phenylalanine content was highest (23.14%) in CCWB. The free amino acids (L-threonine, L-serine, L-sarcosine, L-proline, L-alanine, L-valine and D,L-β-aminoisobutyric acid) were found in CC but not in CCWB. The γ-amino-n-butyric acid (GABA) was found in CCWB but not in CC. These results suggest that the addition of black garlic has beneficial effects on the functionality of Cheonggukjang without decreasing its sensory characteristics.

        본 연구는 바이러스 무병묘의 대량 증식을 위한 기초 자료를 얻고자 포도 '자랑' 품종의 신초와 뿌리의 형성 및 생장에 미치는 배지조성물질과 생장조절제의 영향을 구명하고자 수행되었다. 배지의 무기염 농도가 낮을수록 신초의 형성은 많아지는 경향으로, 특히 1/2MS배지에서 신초의 형성 및 생장이 가장 양호하였다. 부정근의 형성은 무기염의 농도가 높아질수록 양호하여 2MS배지에서 부정근의 수가 2.1개로 가장 많았다. Sucrose의 경우, 신초의 형성은 1%, 부정근의 형성은 3%, 생장은 1% 농도구에서 가장 좋았다. 활성탄의 0.05% 첨가에 의해 신초의 생장은 양호했으며, 특히, 부정근의 형성 및 생장에 효과적이었다. '자랑'의 대량 증식을 위한 배지의 pH는 6.8이 가장 적합하여 신초의 마디수와 길이가 각각 3.9개와 1.3 cm로 가장 좋았다. 기내 대량증식에 미치는 생장조절제의 영향으로 BA 1.0 mg/L에서 신초의 생장이 가장 왕성하였으며, NAA 1.0 mg/L에서 절편체당 16.9개의 신초가 형성되어 양호한 결과를 얻었다.

        This study has been carried out to verify curative effect of lavender and lawn, a green space composition factor. Thus, the physiological index value of blood pressure, heart rate and salivary amylase were measured with object of 16 women in their 20~30s for stress relaxation effect at lavender garden and lawn square, and impression assessment upon SD method as for psychological value was performed in this study. And a survey was conducted on necessity and reason of urban green space with object of 345 men and women urban workers. As a result of variance analysis between groups and multi test of Turkey upon object place, the blood pressure was lowered the same at lavender garden and lawn square, and especially, high blood pressure was greatly lowered to 30 mmHG at lavender garden. On the other hand, low blood pressure group showed the tendency of a little increasing at the same places. And for the pulse, there was difference between high blood pressure group and normal group at the same places. To conclude, at lavender garden and lawn square the blood pressure was made to be lowered when it’s high, and when it’s low, the effect of returning to sound status, the function of increasing, was verified. In case of impression assessment upon SD method, the lawn square was assessed as resting place and lavender garden diversional place. And over 90% of urban workers responded to the green space’s necessity and curative effect, diversion and resting place were adopted for the reason in high-ranking items. As above the green space pattern that urban workers require and curative effect of lavender garden and lawn square were verified. Therefore, the functional green space plan is required, which curative effect, diversion and resting place are considered, for the future green space plan design.

        콩의 파종시기 및 생육온도를 달리하였을 때 생육반응, 수량성 및 isoflavone 함량과 지방산 조성에 미치는 영향을 검토하여 밭작물의 안정생산을 위한 재배기술개발에 활용하고자 수행된 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 5월파종구는 6월파종구에 비해 콩 식물체의 생육이 왕성하고 식물체의 수분함량이 개화후 약 40일까지 비교적 높은 상태가 유지되지만, 6월파종구는 개화 후 등숙이 빠르게 진행되면서 식물체의 수분함량이 개화후 30일부터 급격히 감소되었다. 2. 6월 파종구는 5월 파종구에 비해 100립중이 상대적으로 감소하였고, 생육온도가 높으면 100립중이 증대되었으나 control + 5℃ 에서는 오히려 감소되어 파종시기 및 생육온도별 등숙 반응이 달랐다. 3. Isoflavone 함량은 5월파종구의 평균이 1201.8ug/g 이었으나 6월파종구는 1479.8ug/g 으로 5월파종구 대비 약 278ug/g 함량이 높았다. 생육온도에 따라서는 5월파종구 Mc + 3℃ 및 Mc + 4℃ 처리구는 isoflavone 함량이 증가되었으나, Mc + 5℃ 의 isoflavone 함량은 오히려 낮았고, 6월파종구는 생육온도가 높을수록 isoflavone 함량이 감소하여 파종시기별 온도처리 효과가 달랐다. 4. 생육온도가 높을수록 oleic acid의 조성이 증가되고 linoleic 및 linolenic acid가 감소되었으나 palmitic 및 stearic acid의 조성도 생육온도가 높아질수록 증가되는 경향이었다. 5. 주경절수는 isoflavone 함량 및 불포화지방산 조성에 모두 관여하는 변수로 나타났는데, 주경절수와 isoflavone 함량과의 상관분석 결과 부의 상관관계(r = -0.661)가 있었고, 불포화지방산과는 정의 상관관계(r = 0.775)를 보여 주경절수가 증가되면 isoflavone 함량이 낮아지고 불포화지방산의 조성비율의 증가에 관여하는 형질로 판단되었다.

        Influences of different seeding dates on growth, seed yield, fatty acid composition and oil content were investigated in flax plants for two years. The results indicated that plant height in early seeding date was higher than that of delayed seeding dates during first season. Furthermore, seeding date also significantly affected the ripened seed rate and the rate increased with the delay in seeding date in first season. Seed yield in the first crop season was significantly higher than the second crop season. Palmitic acid showed variation in different seeding dates. Contrarily, stearic acid was stable and did not changed by different seeding dates. Linolenic acid was found in highest amount in all seeding dates consecutively in two cropping years. Highest oil content was recovered from the seeds of flax sown at 29 Apr. and May 9 in first and second cropping year respectively.

        This study was conducted to determine the effects of the humidity and gas composition on the quality of satsuma mandarins during their heat treatment, in an effort to reduce their acidity. To come up with different humidity and gas conditions, various plastic films were used. The fruits were wrapped with an 18-μm high-density polyethylene (HDPE) punched film, a 30-μm low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film, or a 100-μm LDPE film just before treatment at 30℃ for 55 hours. After heat treatment, the titratible acidity (TA) was significantly reduced while the soluble-solid content (SSC) showed no differences, which resulted in increased SSC/TA ratios in all the treatments. The fruits that were not wrapped with a film, however, which had low RH, developed higher ethanol and acetaldehyde contents than those wrapped with an 18-μm HDPE punched film, which had high RH and a similar gas composition. Among the films, the higher the CO2 concentration in the film was, the more the ethanol and acetaldehyde contents increased, which induced more off-flavor. It was thus concluded that high humidity and normal gas composition are favorable conditions for heat treatment to reduce the acidity of satsuma mandarins.

        Morus alba (Mulberry) leaves were exposed to fermentation for varying amounts of time: no fermentation (0 min, MANF), medial fermentation (10 h, MAMF), and full fermentation (24 h, MAFF). The chemical compositions of the teas were determined and compared with those of commercial Camellia sinensis teas. The results showed that mulberry leaf teas contained significantly higher amounts of ash and fat than Camellia sinensis tea. Compared with Camellia sinensis teas, all mulberry leaf teas contained significantly more total free amino acids (24.26~54.25mg L-glutamic acid equivalent g-1), but the concentration of caffeine was relatively low for mulberry leaf teas. High thiamine, riboflavin, and niacin contents were found in all mulberry leaf teas, but ascorbic acid and pyridoxine were found at higher levels in Camellia sinensis teas than in mulberry leaf teas. Color measurements demonstrated that mulberry leaf tea infusions generally had lower a* (greenness) and b* (yellowness) values than Camellia sinensis tea infusions. All infusions exhibited low turbidity levels (less than 10%). The contents of total phenols were measured as 71.8 and 74.9mg 100 ml-1 infusion in MANF and MAFF, respectively, but the MAMF tea infusion showed significantly lower total phenols (64.6mg 100ml-1 infusion). The total flavonoid contents of mulberry leaf tea infusions were lower (8.9~20.6mg 100 ml-1 infusion) than those of Camellia sinensis teas and thus had lower antioxidant capacities (DPPH: 326.8~526.9 μm trolox equivalent g-1 and FRAP: 364.6~387.6 μm trolox equivalent g-1) than Camellia sinensis teas. The amounts of γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and rutin were higher in fermented mulberry leaf teas; the level of GABA increased with increasing fermentation time and the content was highest in MAFF, but rutin content was highest in MAMF.

        이 실험의 목적은 유채 F1 종자 생산시 종자친과 화분친의 재식비 및 수확시기별 종자의 지방산 함량에 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 실험을 수행하였다. 안정적인 종자 생산을 위해, 두 가지의 실험을 노지에서 수행하였다. 실험 1은 F1 종자 생산을 위한 종자친과 화분친의 재식 비별(4:2, 10:2, 10:1)로 정식하였고 유채 개화 후 40, 45, 50, 55, 60에 지방산 함량을 조사하였다. 실험 2는 F2 종자의 개화 후 등숙시기별로 종자를 수확하여 지방산을 분석하였다. 실험의 결과, 종자친과 화분친 재식비에 따른 등숙시기별 유채 종자의 지방산 조성 및 함량은 차이를 보여 주었으나 지방산의 오염 정도 척도인 erucic acid는 재식비에 따라 영향을 미치지 않았다. 종자친과 화분친의 비에서 얻어진 F1 과 F2 종자 비에서 palmitic acid, stearic acid과 linoleic acid은 등숙 시기에 따라 감소하였다. 그러나 oleic acid는 두 실험 모두에서 개화 후 55일까지 상대적으로 증가하였지만, 개화후 60일째 영향을 미치지 않았다. 지방산 생합성 관련 유전자인 SAD, FAD1 및 FAD2의 발현양상도 등숙 시기별 지방산 조성 및 함량과 일치하였다. 이런 결과는 종자친과 화분친의 비에 따른 재식비과 F2 종자의 비에 따른 지방산 조성이 큰 문제가 되지 않음을 보여주므로 F1 종자의 안정적인 생산을 위해 종자친의 파종비는 늘리고 화분친비를 줄이면 유채 종자 생산량이 높아질 것으로 사료가 된다.

        숙성액 조성을 달리하여 양파장아찌를 제조하고 이화학적 품질 특성 변화를 조사하였다. 숙성액과 양파장아찌육의 당도(가용성 고형분), 염도, pH는 숙성기간이 경과함에 따라 간장배합비율이 높을수록 당도도 높게 나타났다. 양파장아찌육의 표면색도는 백색도의 경우 숙성기간 최종일까지 완만히 증가하였다. 적색도 및 황색도의 경우 모든 실험군과 대조군에서 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 양파장아찌의 견고성은 숙성기간 16일째에는 모든 실험군에서 급격히 감소하는 현상

        아미노산 자동분석기(amino acid auto analyzer, AAA)를 이용하여 모발의 탈색 및 퍼머넌트 웨이브 시술에 의한 모발시료의 17가지 아미노산(aspartic acid, threonine, serine, glutamic acid, proline, glycine, alanine, cystein, valine, methionine, isoleucine, leucine, tyrosine, phenylalanine, histidine, lysine, arginine) 함량변화를 조사하였다. 시료는 30대 남성 10명의 모발을 채취하였으며 110 ℃ 24 h 동안 6 N 염산 10 mL로 가수분해 후 분석하였다. 실험결과 처치별 모발의 아미노산 함량은 정상모발 73.9 %, 퍼머넌트 웨이브 모발 71.5 % 및 탈색모발 69.3 %로 분석되었고, 탈색효과에 의한 아미노산 함량 감소가 퍼머넌트 웨이브 효과에서 보다 크게 분석되었다. 특히 lysine과 tyrosine의 조성은 탈색이나 퍼머넌트 웨이브 모발에서 25 % 가량 현저히 감소하였다. 반면에 serine, cystein, leucine 및 histidine의 함량변화는 일어나지 않았다.

        LED (light smiling diode)를 가정용 냉장고에 부착하여 양배추의 선도 유지에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 가정용 냉장고에 부착된 LED의 조사가 저장 중 양배추의 품질변화에 미치는 가장 큰 효과는 엽록소 합성, 비타민 C 및 페놀성분의 함량 증가였다. LED가 부착된 냉장고에 저장된 양배추는 절단면이 흰색에서 녹색으로 변화하였으며, 따라서 절단면의 Hunter a값이 일반 냉장고에 저장된 양배추에 비해 현저히 낮은 수치를 나타내었

        마황 추출액이 흰쥐의 혈액내 지질구성, 간장기능 및 혈구성상에 미치는 영향을 검토했다. 혈장내 FFA 농도는 처리군 간에 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 그러나 triglyceride 농도는 마황 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 감소하였다. 총콜레스테롤량은 마황 첨가군에서 현저하게 감소했다. 그러나 HDL 및 LDC-cholesterol 농도는 처리군 간에 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. GOT 활성치는 마황 첨가군에서 높은 경향을 보였으나, GPT 활성치는 처리군 간에 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. RBC는 마황 첨가군에서 높은 수치를 보였으나, Hb 및 PCV는 처리군 간에 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. WBC 총수는 처리군 간에 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 백혈구 구성비는 neutrophils의 비율이 마황 첨가군에서 증가하는 경향을 보였으나 나머지 종류들은 처리군 간에 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았다.

        본 연구는 포자체 배양을 통하여 참쇠고비의 효율적인 번식방법을 구하고자 수행되었다. 배양절편의 기원(근경, 엽병, 엽신)과 절편의 균질화가 신초 계생에 미치는 영향을 조사한 결과, 오직 근경 조직에서만 기관발생능력이 관찰되었고, 식물체 재생은 배양재료를 균질화함으로써 더욱 촉진되었다. MS배지의 무기물 농도를 2배로 첨가한 배지에서 신초의 증식과 생장이 활발히 이루어졌다. 신초 재생에 적합한 배지의 질소함량은 MS배지의 1/2배 수준 이었고, 적정 sucrose농도는 1%였다. 또한 배지에 NaH2PO4를 첨가함으로써 재생된 식물체의 생육이 전반적으로 촉진되었다. 근경절편의 기관형성능력은 kinetin과 IBA를 혼용 처리함으로써 촉진되었으며, 0.1~0.2%의 활성탄과 생장조절물질을 혼용 처리한 결과, 다수의 싹이 뭉친 듯이 보이는 primordia 형태의 발달이 억제되었고, 포자체의 정상적인 형태형성이 향상되었다.

        본 실험은 꼬리고사리과에 속하는 3종의 양치식물들(꼬리고사리, 거미고사리 및 변산일엽)에서 배지의 조성물질과 물리적 조건 및 생장조절물질이 전엽체 생장에 미치는 영향을 구명하기 위하여 수행하였다. 3종 모두에서 전엽체 배양에 적합한 배지는 MS배지로 확인되었다. 배지 내 NH4+:NO3-의 적정 농도비율은 꼬리고사리와 변산일엽의 경우 20:40mM(1:2 비율) 이었으며, 거미고사리는 30:30mM(1:1 비율) 이었다. 전엽체 생장에 적합한 당 농도는 1~2%였으며, pH는 3.8~5.8이었다. 배지에 첨가된 agar 농도는 전엽체 생장에 별다른 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 6종의 생장조절물질(NAA, IA4, 2,4-D, BAP, kinetin 및 2ip)을 배지에 첨가하여 3종의 전엽재를 배양한 결과, 시토키닌류의 경우 생장촉진효과가 관찰되었으나 옥신류는 농도가 높아질수록 전엽체의 생장을 저해하는 것으로 확인되었다.
