        This study evaluates the performance of three theoretical models for correcting dynamic pressure affected by tube length. The experiments involved measuring sinusoidal pressure waves with varying frequency bandwidths, using tubing systems ranging from 20 cm to 300 cm in length including multiple tubing systems connecting three or more tubes. The results showed that the Bergh and Tijdeman models, with constant and variable polytropic parameters respectively, had superior correction performance for various tube lengths, while the Whitmore & Leondes model showed discrepancies. The Bergh & Tijdeman model, with a polytropic parameter of 1.4, is recommended due to its convenience and accuracy. Furthermore, including the inner volume of the pressure transducer in the theoretical model was found to be crucial for accurate correction, as not doing so caused significant errors. The Bergh & Tijdeman model was also found to efficiently correct tube length effects in multiple tubing systems, eliminating the need for time-consuming and laborious experiments.

        실버 페이스트는 상대적으로 낮은 열처리로 공정이 가능하기 때문에 전자 소자 응용분야에서 유용한 전극 재료이다. 본 연구에서는 은 페이스트 전극에 대기압 플라즈마 제트를 이용하여 전극 표면을 처리 했다. 이 플라즈마 제트는 11.5 kHz 작동 주파수에서 5.5 ~ 6.5 kV의 고전압을 사용하여 아르곤 분 위기에서 생성되었다. 플라즈마 제트는 대기압에서 수행함으로써 인쇄 공정에 더 유용할 수 있다. 플라즈 마 처리시간, 인가된 전압, 가스유량에 따라 전극의 표면은 빠르게 친수성화 되었으며 접촉각의 변화가 관 찰되었다. 또한, 대면적 샘플에서 플라즈마 처리 후 접촉각의 편차가 없었는데, 이는 기판의 크기에 관계없 이 균일한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다는 것을 의미한다. 본 연구의 결과는 대면적 전자소자의 제조 및 향후 응 용 분야에서 적층 구조를 형성하는데 매우 유용할 것으로 기대된다.

        This study aims to explore the appropriate water pressure control of water supply pipeline to reduce water losses of water supply network in Jinan-gun. The current water pressure status of each 5 blocks and the impact of optimized water pressure on improving revenue water rate were investigated. In order to obtain the flow rate and water pressure data of each small block, a smart hub is set in the pressure reducing valve chamber at the inlet of the small block, and a smart water pressure meter is installed in the fire hydrant and the faucet of the customer. For the pressure reducing valves installed for water pressure management system of each block, the diameter calculation standard and type of the pressure reducing valve are determined, and the application reasons are put forward. The analysis results of water pressure management for each small block in Jinan-gun show that the pressure control equipment and water pressure management need to be improved in four small blocks. The water flow rate in Jinan-eup and Sangjeon-myeon increases from 57.2% to 87.6% when the water pressure control is completed.

        Sensory evaluation of shucking pressure, pressure holding time, seeding method, difference in full shucking rate in the aquaculture area and shucking oyster was performed using an ultra-high pressure oyster shucking machine. The reaching time for each target pressure is 2.2-2.4 MPa/sec in the range of 180 MPa to 240 MPa. had a rate of pressure rise. There was a difference of 0.5-1.7℃ in the range of 24-27℃ in the seawater temperature before and after the pressure treatment inside the pressure vessel, but there was no specific increase or decrease in seawater temperature. When only the shucking pressure is increased without the pressure holding time, the critical shucking pressure at which the oyster shell is opened and the flesh is peeled in the range of 200 to 220 MPa. When the critical shucking pressure is reached, the oyster sample in the closed vessel is expected to be shucked by about 40%. If there is no pressure holding time when judged only by full shucking, an increase in pressure of about 1.5 MPa is required to further shuck 3% of the oyster population. The oyster samples cultivated in the south coast of Korea were subject to full shucking under the conditions of 220 MPa shucking pressure and two minutes (120 seconds) of pressure holding time, and the difference in the pressure of the oysters according to the oyster seeding method and the farming area was minute. Finally, the condition of 220 MPa of shucking pressure and three minutes of pressure holding time was the best at 1.52 when the result of the sensory evaluation performed manually was set to 1.0. Next was 1.4 under the conditions of 220 MPa of shucking pressure and one minute of pressure holding time (60 seconds), and 1.3 under the condition of 220 MPa and two minutes of pressure holding time (120 seconds). Therefore, it is considered that the most desirable shucking conditions, considering the efficiency and sensory evaluation results, are the conditions of 220 MPa shucking pressure and two to three minutes of pressure holding time.

        In this study, a graphite block is fabricated using artificial graphite processing byproduct and phenolic resin as raw materials. Mechanical and electrical property changes are confirmed due to the preforming method. After fabricating preforms at 50, 100, and 150 MPa, CIP molding at 150 MPa is followed by heat treatment to prepare a graphite block. 150UP-CIP shows a 12.9% reduction in porosity compared with the 150 MPa preform. As the porosity is decreased, the bulk density, flexural strength, and shore hardness are increased by 14.9%, 102.4%, and 13.7%, respectively; and the deviation of density and electrical resistivity are decreased by 51.9% and 34.1%, respectively. Therefore, as the preforming pressure increases, the porosity decreases, and the electrical and mechanical properties improve.

        본 연구는 아로마 롤온 흡입법이 경로당 이용 노인의 스트레스, 통증, 우울 및 혈압에 미치는 효과를 확인하기 위한 원시실험연구이다. 대상자는 경기도 S시에 위치한 경로당 2곳에 등록된 노인 가운데 선정기준에 부합한 33명이 참여하였으며 자료수집 기간은 2022년 11월 14일부터 2022년 12월 19일까지 시행하였다. 아로마 롤온 흡입 전후에 경로당에 직접 방문하여 혈압 측정 후 자가설문으로 구성된 스트레 스, 통증, 우울을 조사하였다. 실험군에게 적용한 에센셜 오일은 마조람, 제라늄, 페페민트, 오렌지 스위트 를 캐리어 오일인 호호바오일에 희석한 것으로 하였다. 중재는 4주 동안 1일 3회 시행하였다. 연구결과, 아 로마 롤온 흡입법은 대상자의 스트레스(t=2.63, p=.013), 통증(t=2.46, p=.019), 수축기 혈압(t=3.01, p=.005)에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 따라서 아로마 롤온 흡입법은 경로당 이용 노인의 스트레 스 감소 및 통증 완화, 혈압 관리에 유용한 간호중재로 활용가능할 것으로 기대된다.

        This study was conducted to evaluate the filtration performance according to the feed temperature composed of NaCl and the operating pressure of the brackish water reverse osmosis (BWRO) process. The temperature is known that decides the filtration performance of reverse osmosis (RO). It is noted that temperature increase activates the permeate of salts due to augment of diffusivity and mass transfer. Filtration of the lab-scale RO system was performed with constant pressure and the constant flow was simulated. The salt rejection measured by the concentration of the feed and permeate was compared with water permeability and salt permeability in the conditions containing various temperatures (5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30℃) and pressures (10, 12, 15, and 18 bar). An increase in feed temperature from 5 °C to 30 °C caused a 4.65% decrease in salt rejection in CSM, due to an increase in salt permeability (4.06 times) rather than an increase in water permeability (2.62 times). Specific energy consumption (SEC) was calculated by using an electricity meter set in the RO system. It was expected that the SEC by the increases in temperature and pressure decreased due to the viscosity decline of the feed and the permeate flux augment, respectively. The SEC decreased by 63.4% in CSM and by 54.3% in Nittodenko when the feed temperature increased from 5 °C to 30 °C. It discussed how to operate the optimal RO process through the effect of temperature and operating pressure and the comparison of SEC.

        High-pressure sodium (HPS) lamps have been widely used as a useful supplemental light source to emit sufficient photosynthetically active radiation and provide a radiant heat, which contribute the heat requirement in greenhouses. The objective of this study to analyze the thermal characteristics of HPS lamp and thermal behavior in supplemented greenhouse, and evaluate the performance of a horizontal leaf temperature of sweet pepper plants using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation. We simulated horizontal leaf temperature on upper canopy according to three growth stage scenarios, which represented 1.0, 1.6, and 2.2 plant height, respectively. We also measured vertical leaf and air temperature accompanied by heat generation of HPS lamps. There was large leaf to air temperature differential due to non-uniformity in temperature. In our numerical calculation, thermal energy of HPS lamps contributed of 50.1% the total heat requirement on Dec. 2022. The CFD model was validated by comparing measured and simulated data at the same operating condition. Mean absolute error and root mean square error were below 0.5, which means the CFD simulation values were highly accurate. Our result about vertical leaf and air temperature can be used in decision making for efficient thermal energy management and crop growth.

        본 연구의 목적은 12주간 수중걷기운동이 비만 노인 여성의 신체조성, hs-CRP, HOMAIR 및 혈압에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 실시하였다. 체지방률 30% 이상인 비만 노인 여성 중 운 동군(10명), 대조군(10명)으로 총 20명으로 실시하였으며, 모든 검사항목은 동일한 방법과 조건으로 신 체조성, hs-CRP, HOMA-IR 및 혈압을 사전, 사후 총 2회 측정하였다. 수중걷기운동은 12주간, 주 3 회, 1회 50분, RPE 11-14 강도로 실시하였다. 측정변인에 대해 평균값과 표준편차(M±SD)를 산출한 후 사전 운동군과 대조군의 신체적 특성과 각 측정변인에 대한 동질성 검정을 위하여 독립 t-test를, 집 단 내의 사전·사후 평균치 변화에 대한 차이 검증은 종속 t-test를, 집단 간 차이에 대한 주효과 검정 및 집단 간 시기 간 상호작용 효과는 반복측정 분산분석을 이용하였다. 본 연구결과 운동군에서 신체조성, 체지방률(p<.05), 인슐린(p<.01), HOMA-IR(p<.01) 및 수축기 혈압(p<.05)이 유의하게 감소하였다. 따 라서 수중걷기운동이 비만 노인 여성의 비만 및 심혈관질환의 개선에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 사료 된다.

        To test a flameproof enclosure for the safety certificate, a reference pressure of explosion needs to be determined. However, the explosion pressure may be changed according to relative humidity of explosive gases. Therefore, the guideline on relative humidity should be recommended for measuring the explosion pressure for accurate and reproducible testings. This study examined the relationship of explosion pressure with relative humidity of hydrogen (31 vol %)-air and acetylene (14 vol %)-air mixture gases. The explosion pressures were measured by increasing the relative humidity of the gases by 10 % from dry state to 80 % in a cylindrical explosion enclosure of 2.3 L. on ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure (1 atm). The maximum explosive pressures were remained almost constant until the relative humidity reached 10 % for the hydrogen-air mixture and 20 % for the acetylene-air mixture. However, the maximum explosive pressures linearly decreased as the relative humidity increased. Based on the results of the study, it would be recommended to use 10 % relative humidity for the hydrogen-air mixture and 20 % for the acetylene-air mixture as the critical value in testing a flameproof enclosure.

        There are various types of level gauging method such as using float, differential pressure, hypersonic, displacement and so on. In this study, among them, the method utilizing the differential pressure was reviewed. The strengths include: the differential pressure type level gauge can measure the level without direct contact of the sensor with media. That is to say, the level can be measured even if the sensor is far away from the tank. And regardless of the size of the tank, the level can be measured if the pneumatic pipes are installed. The weaknesses include: the sensor needs intermedium to recognize the level. The intermedium utilizes a fluid, which is compressed air. It is difficult to handle that compressed air has the properties of a gas. And to make compressed air needs compressor, tank and pneumatic pipes. So if you have many tanks, you need to install exponentially the pneumatic pipes. As well, level measurement range is limited to the points where the pneumatic pipes of the tank is installed. And if a compressed air that supplies to the sensor leaks, uncertainty will increase. A compressed air is colorless and odorless, so it’s difficult to pinpoint the leak. Finally, events like cracks and clogging can cause inaccurate measurement. Rather than using only differential pressure, it is better to use another measurement method according to the situation of the facility.

        In case a spent nuclear fuel transport cask is lost in the sea due to an accident during maritime transport, it is necessary to evaluate the critical depth by which the pressure resistance of the cask is maintained. A licensed type B package should maintain the integrity of containment boundary under water up to 200 m of depth. However, if the cask is damaged during accidents of severity excessing those of design basis accidents, or it is submerged in a sea deeper than 200 m, detailed analyses should be performed to evaluated the condition of the cask and possible scenarios for the release of radioactive contents contained in the cask. In this work, models to evaluate pressure resistance of an undamaged cask in the deep sea are developed and coded into a computer module. To ensure the reliability of the models and to maintain enough flexibility to account for a variety of input conditions, models in three different fidelities are utilized. A very sophisticated finite element analysis model is constructed to provide accurate response of containment boundary against external pressure. A simplified finite element model which can be easily generated with parameters derived from the dimensions and material properties of the cask. Lastly, mathematical formulas based on the shell theory are utilized to evaluate the stress and strain of cask body, lid and the bolts. The models in mathematical formula will be coded into computer model once they show good agreement with the other two model with much higher fidelity. The evaluation of the cask was largely divided into the lid, body, and bottom, bolts of the cask. It was confirmed that the internal stress of the cask was increased in accordance with the hydrostatic pressure. In particular, the lid and bottom have a circular plate shape and showed a similar deformation pattern with deflection at the center. The maximum stress occurred where the lid was in the center and the bottom was in contact with the body. Because the body was simplified and evaluated as a cylinder, only simple compression without torsion and bending was observed. The maximum stress occurred in the tangential direction from the inner side of the cylinder. The bolt connecting the lid and the body was subjected to both bending and tension at the same time, and the maximum stress was evaluated considering both tension and bending loads. In general, the results calculated by the formulas were evaluated to have higher maximum stresses than the analysis results of the simplified model. The results of the maximum stress evaluation in this study confirms that the mathematical models provide conservative results than the finite element models and can be used in the computer module.

        A rod internal pressure increased by fission gas release is major factor that causes degradation during dry storage of spent fuel. Because rod internal pressure is greatly affected by fuel design, operation power history, it is essential to perform complex calculation using performance code to accurately predict rod internal pressure as function of burnup. However, because it is difficult to apply a complex method into dry storage design and to determine rod internal pressure based on conservative way this study presents a simple correlation that can predict an approximate rod internal pressure as function of burnup For the development of simple correlation, rod internal pressure and fuel rod void volume data measured through about 400 PIE (Post Irradiation Examination) data were used. The developed simple correlation can cover various fuel rod arrays, discharged fuel average burnup, operation history, cladding type, burnup range, and information on Westinghouse type fuel rods such as Spain ENUSA, USA EPRI/ANL/ORNL/PNNL, WEC, etc. In this paper, the data of simple correlation determination is briefly introduced, and the data analysis process and results are summarized. Two correlations that can conservatively determine rod internal pressure and free void volume in fuel rod according to fuel rod average burnup were presented, and the effect of initial He fill pressure was evaluated. In particular, the results of Post Irradiation Examination for 46 fuel rods conducted in Korea are also included, so it is expected that newly presented correlations can be used easily in various ways in the domestic research, industry, and academia.

        국내에서는 ‘태양광 발전 사업‘을 지원하여 태양광 발전소를 늘려나가고 있다. 태양광 발전기는 옥외에 있어 바람에 직접적 으로 노출되어있기 때문에 태풍과 같은 강풍에 큰 영향을 받게 된다. 최근 태풍의 강도와 빈도가 증가하면서 이에 따른 피해가 증가하 고 있다. 태양광 발전기는 유지 관리 및 보수 작업의 용이성 때문에 동서방향으로 배치한 태양광 어레이들 좌우 사이에 이격거리를 두 고 설치된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 동서방향 이격거리를 변수로 특정하여 태양광 어레이에 작용하는 풍압분포와 피크순압력계수를 산출하였다. 이를 위해 이격거리를 0.3m, 0.5m, 1.0m로 선정하여 풍압실험을 진행하였다. 모든 변수에서 어레이의 양측 상부 모서리에 서는 상방향, 하부 모서리에서는 하방향의 피크순압력계수가 지배적이었다. 어레이 내단부에서는 상방향과 하방향의 피크순압력계수 가 이격거리 0.3m일 때 가장 크게 나왔으나, 외단부보다 전체적으로는 값이 작았다. 어레이 좌우 이격거리에 대한 내단부에서의 수속 효과보다 외단부에서 생긴 와로 인한 피크순압력계수가 크게 나타났기 때문에 외단부에 대한 안전성을 더 고려해야 할 것으로 판단된다.
