This study was conducted to determine the efficiency of the distribution process of the abalone industry, that is, whether there is market dominance. In addition, it was intended to find out whether there is an asymmetric price transfer phenomenon between the distribution stage of the abalone industry. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, the asymmetric price transition effect on the abalone price between producer and wholesale market was found to be positive. It means that the distribution structure is incomplete between the producer and the wholesale market and the abalone market is operating inefficiently. Second, as a result of estimating the market power between the producer and the wholesale market, the market power coefficient between the producer and the Hanam wholesale market, and the producer and the Incheon wholesale market were 0.0618 and 0.0735. Summarizing the analysis results, the abalone market has an asymmetric price transition between producer and wholesale markets, but the market dominance coefficient is relatively low. These results suggest that the asymmetry of price transition is mainly caused by market dominance, but can also be caused by other factors such as information asymmetry. In the future, in addition to the market dominance of the abalone market, it is judged that research on factors related to the asymmetry of price transition is necessary.
The introduction of the wholesalers system is being considered from various aspects in order to improve the problems of the listed auction system of wholesale corporations. The wholesalers system is a corporation that receives designation from the creator and purchases or consigns agricultural and fishery products to wholesale or broker sales, and has the advantage of reducing the distribution stage and distribution costs. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the wholesalers system introduced to improve the problems of the listed auction system of wholesale corporations through a case study of market wholesalers handling fishery products.
The purpose of this paper is to empirically investigate whether asymmetric price transmission exists in the distribution stage of farmed olive flounder market. For the analysis, time series data were used for the producer prices of Jeju and Wando, and the wholesale prices of Incheon, Hanam and Busan. Through the Granger causality test, the causal relationship from the producer price to the wholesale price was derived and the asymmetric price transmission was analyzed using the autoregressive distributed lag model (ARDL). As a result of the analysis, it was found that there is a phenomenon of ‘positive asymmetric price transmission’ from the producer price to the wholesale price. This result can be one evidence that excess profits are received in the intermediate distribution stage, and can be said to be a result showing the incompleteness and inefficiency of the distribution structure of the farmed olive flounder. In the future, it is required to establish an information-sharing system in all stages of production, distribution, and consumption that can create a competitive environment for distribution participants and resolve information asymmetry. Also, it is necessary to review the distribution center specializing in live fish from the viewpoint of the establishment of new distribution channels and sales diversification strategy under the rapidly changing fisheries environment.
국제적으로 신품종과 품종 육성자의 권리가 지적 재산권으로 보호됨에 따라 화훼작물의 경우 국내 민간종묘에서 품종 개발이 거의 이루어지지 않아 농촌진흥청 원예시험장(구 국립 원예특작과학원) 화훼과에서 1992년부터 본격적으로 품종육성 연구가 시작되었다. 2017년 재배면적 44ha, 판매액 93.6억원 인 주요 난류의 하나인 심비디움은 다른 화종에 비해 육종년 한이 길어 2002년에 ‘뷰티프린세스’ 등 4품종이 육성된 후 2017년까지 51품종이 육성되었고, 농촌진흥청 연구비 지원으로 지산영농조합법인에서도 ‘핑크레이스’ 등 26품종이 육성된 바 있다. 이렇게 개발된 품종은 농가에 보급되어 분화나 절화 로 유통되고 있어 최근에는 국산 품종에 대한 재배농가의 인지도가 높아지고 있다. 2009년부터 2017년까지 aT화훼공판장 에서 거래되고 있는 국산 심비디움 품종들의 분화 거래내역을 조사한 결과, 농촌진흥청 개발 51품종 중 21품종이 지산영농 조합 개발 26품종 중 7품종이 1년에서 5년동안 거래된 것을 확인하였다. 국산 품종 거래 수는 2010년과 2015년을 제외하고는 2,568~5,693분으로 총 심비디움 판매량의 1.5~2.1%를 차지하였다. 심비디움 거래량의 65.2~97.6%를 차지하는 꽃대 2, 3, 4대 가격을 비교한 결과, 국산 품종이 외국산 품종에 비하 여 최고가는 낮았지만 평균가는 높았고, 최저가는 훨씬 높았다. 결론적으로 aT화훼공판장 거래가를 기준으로 국산 품종이 외국산 품종과 비교할 때 품질이 양호하였음을 알 수 있었다.
이 논문은 한국 쇠고기 시장을 대상으로 도매 단계와 소매 단계에 초점을 맞추어 유통업자들의 시장지 배력 정도를 측정하였다. 다양한 유통 채널상에 존재하는 가격들을 보면 유통비용 외에 추가적인 가격 차 이가 있음을 보게 되는 데 이러한 비용을 넘는 가격 차이가 시장지배력을 보여주는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 연별 가격과 물량 자료를 이용하여 도매 단계와 소매 단계에서 유통상인들의 시장지배력을 측정하였다. 추정 결과를 보면, 소매단계는 완전경쟁에서 멀리 떨어져 있음을 알 수 있고, 도매단계는 상대적으로 완 전경쟁에 가까운 것으로 나타났다.
This study was practiced to survey food-borne bacterial aspects of Escherichia coli and Bacillus cereus etc. from 210 processed seasoned marine products in Garak fishery wholesale market in Seoul, 2009. Distributions of these bacterial isolates were 28 coliforms, 32 Bacillus spp., 71 Staphylococcus spp., 11 Listeria spp, and 10Enterococcus spp. in 157 dried squids, 23 dried file fishes, and 20 dried pollacks etc. respectively. Results in 16 kinds of antibiotics susceptibility test by disc diffusion method, special multiple drugs resistance patterns were NOR + LVX + CIP + SAM+ VA + S + TE + CF, SAM + C + VA, VA + S + TE, and VA + S in 9 E. coli strains, also,AMC + SAM + CF, SAM + CF, and VA + CF in 21 Bacillus cereus strains respectively. On the basis of the results above, many seasoned dried fishes had multiple drugs resistances, conclusively, we suggest limited guideline and special management on use of antibiotics in floating net cages of fishery farms.
서울시 가락농수산물시장에서 수거한 총 2,066건의 해산물(어류 573건, 패류 721건, 갑각류 208건 그리고 연체류 564건)을 대상으로 대장균을 분리 동정한 결과 10.3%(212/2,066)의 검출율을 보였다. 분리된 212주의 대장균의 월별 분포를 살펴보면, 1월 4.0%, 2월 1.0%, 3월 0.7%, 4월 9.5%, 5월 4.4%, 6월 9.4%, 7월 30.5%, 8월 42.1%, 9월 21.2%, 10월 6.6%, 11월 0.7% 그리고 12월 4.6%의 검출율을 보여, 6-9월 등 하절기에 많은 대장균이 분포됨을 알 수 있었고, 검체별 분포를 살펴보면, 어류가 7.0%(40/573), 패류 12.8%(92/721), 갑각류 8.7%(18/208) 그리고 연체류 11.0%(62/564)의 검출율을 보여, 패류, 연체류가 어류, 갑각류에 비해 대장균 분리율이 비교적 높게 나타났다. 또한, 지역별 분포를 살펴보면, 강원 21.3%의 검출율을 보였고, 인천 15.6%,경남 12.1%, 전남 11.5%, 전북 22.2%, 충남 11.6%, 제주 6.7% 그리고 우리나라 이외의 지역에서 9.0%의 검출율을 보였다. 212주를 대상으로 혈청형 동정을 실시한 결과, O6은 소라, 키조개, 그리고 건해삼에서 각각 1건씩, O25는 문어, 멍게에서 각각 1건씩, O29는 소라, 키조개에서 각각 1건씩, 그리고 O8, O25, O26, O27, O55, O78, O126, O158, O168은 문어, 갈치, 미더덕, 바지락, 낙지, 쭈꾸미, 소라, 오징어 알에서 각각 1건씩, O167도 소라에서 1건 확인되어 총 16주 (7.5% = 16/212)의 O 혈청형이 동정되어 어패류 등 해산물에 대장균이 분포되어 있음을 알 수 있었다.
서울시 가락농수산물시장에서 2001년 1-12월 수거한 총 742건의 수산물에서 장염비브리오균을 분리 동정한 결과 12.5%(93/742)의 검출율을 보였고, 월별로는 2월 7.14%(2/28), 5월 5.7%(3/53), 6월 5.1%(4/79), 7월 24.0%(18/75), 8월 48.0%(24/50), 9월 26.7%(23/86), 10월 11.1%(10/90), 11월 8.3%(6/72), 12월 5.7%(3/53) 등, 7-9월 검출율이 높아 하절기 장염비브리오균에 의한 식중독의 주요 원인균이 될 수 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 검체별로는 어류 8.3%(16/192), 패류 15.3%(37/242), 갑각류 8.5%(18/212) 그리고 연체류 22.9%(22/96)로 나타나, 연체류가 분리율이 비교적 높았다. 또한, 지역별로는 경기 23.2%(16/69), 경남 6.6%(9/136), 경북 33.3%(1/3), 전남 13.6%(31/228), 전북 14.7%(10/68), 충남 15.6%(5/32), 제주 11.8%(2/17) 그리고 수입수산물 8.8%(11/125)의 검출율을 보였다. 93주 가운데 66주에서 K-type 혈청형을 살펴본 결과, K24, K28이 갑오징어와 징거미에서 하나씩, K47, K53는 홍합에서, K34는 바지락살과 한치알에서, K42는 갑오징어, 꽁치, 대합 그리고 오징어에서 각각 확인되어 15.2%(10/66)의 동정율을 나타내었다.
A study was conducted to determine contamination status of fish sold at wholesale market in Seoul. A total of 79 samples (35 different kindry fish) were collected from the wholesale market. E. coli and coliform group bacteria were cultured and tested for sensitivity against antibiotics. The results are summarized as follows; 1. E. coli was isolated from 23 out of 79 samples (29.1%), and coliform groups from 53 out of 79 (67.1%). 2. Of coliform group, Citrobacter freundii was the most common and Enterobacter cloacae was the next. 3. 23 E. coli strains isolated from fishes were resistant to Oxacillin, Erythromycin and Lincomycin, meanwhile 23 E. coli strains were sensitive to Cefoperazone, Ceftazidime, Imipenem, and Ciprofloxacin.
Purpose: At a time when the distribution industry is dominated by capital and technology, win-win growth among businesses groups (BGs) in wholesale market is becoming a social issue. Therefore, through analysis of market growth, market concentration (MC) and market power (MP), we want to identify the structure of the wholesale market and the competitiveness of the BGs in terms of market share (MS), sales-profit ratio (SPR), and labor productivity (LP) to explore the possibility of win-win growth. Market situation: Wholesale and Retail sales ratio (W/S) continues to increase, which also means inefficiency in distribution channels or opportunities in wholesale markets. Wholesale sales have grown 8.3 percent annually over the past 15 years, while the number of companies and workers has declined since 2017, which is why some restructuring is believed to begin in the wholesale industry. In terms of MC and MP, the growth potential of SBG can be found in FCB, ARM, FBT and CME BTs. Methodology and data: Through ANOVA and Regression Analysis, the 2015 Economic Census Data of KOSTAT was analyzed. Results: The results of ANOVA show that statistically significant SBG has a larger MS than LBG. The SPR was not different among BGs. LP is higher for LBG than for other BGs. Regression results show that the employment weight (EW) and the company size (SC) have positive effects on the MS, but the company weight (CW) and employment size (SE) have negative effects. In the case of SPR, the CW is positive and the EW is negative. In addition, LP appears to be more positive as SC in the BGs is larger. Conclusions: Although there is sufficient potential for SBG in the wholesale market, there is a problem that needs to increase LP. Therefore, the SBG needs to restructure in terms of number of companies and SC to improve the efficiency of employment. In terms of MC and MP, the SBG looks for possibilities in FCB, ARM, FBT and CME BTs. In addition, SBG that seeks higher returns with human services rather than simple sales is found to be competitive in the HHG, MES and CME BTs.
It is possible to use pallet for forwarding as chinese cabbages and radishes are general large-scale trading items at the agricultural wholesale market though, however, most of these are forwarded as it have packed in net bags or in P·E bags. Thus, it is still hard for palletizing. The type of packing the product in the net bag makes it difficult for palletizing. It is not a stable shape enough and easily collapsed for pallet loading. Because of this collapsibility, the corrugated cardboard box is being used to enhance forwarding efficiency, but the existing corrugated cardboard box could be crushed easily by moist what is from the agricultural product’s property and it also could be squashed by the mass of the loaded box layers on itself. In contrary, the functional waterproof corrugated cardboard box is not collapsed through palletizing and it is efficient for product management with it’s ventilation function in respond to pre-cooling effect. Furthermore, because it has various functional shapes as the open type, the partition type and so on, it is effective for maintaining freshness of the product and standardizing the distribution of agricultural product. It is well-known that it is possible to introduce this box to cargo-works of agricultural product. Consequently, the recognition of main distributors about the pallet distribution of the chinese cabbage and the radish was apprehended in this study for activating mechanization of loading and unloading. The survey was conducted to the main distributors such as the forwarder, the auction dealer and the commission merchant with Garak-dong wholesale market as the center. The appropriate packing materials and problems of the existing method for loading and unloading were derived through the survey. Especially, it was focused on analyzing the difference of recognition between the subject groups for the way of using waterproof cardboard corrugated box to deal with the difficult product for packing in normal corrugated box because of the box’s absorption of moist from the agricultural product like a chinese cabbage and a radish. Total In the cases of the forwarders and the commission merchants, the net was highly responded as 45%, 74% from each groups for the best packing material for mechanization of distribution and the waterproof corrugated cardboard box was responded as 20%, 22% from each groups as much preferable than multi-stage wooden box. However, for the radish, the waterproof corrugated cardboard box was the best material as 56%, and the auction trader group supported it for 80%. So, the using the waterproof corrugated cardboard box for mechanization of distribution was negative for the chinese cabbage, but it was positive for the radish. The average was 2.42, the standard deviation was 1.24. The negative response(about 55%) was prevailing more than positive response( about 23%). It could be analyzed that even there was the positive recognition for using the waterproof corrugated cardboard box for the radish though the preference for low price of net bag in the chinese cabbage forwarding procedure. Still now, it seems that is a burden for using the waterproof corrugated cardboard box with high price. In the analysis on the recognition differences about using the waterproof corrugated cardboard box for the chinese cabbages and the radish between the forwarders and the commission merchants, generally the negative recognition was prevailing, but the forwarders( 2.696) were more positive for using the waterproof corrugated cardboard box than the commission merchants(2.145).
