In this study, manufactured of cement mortar using high early strength cement(10 ~ 50 wt%) and blast furnace slag powder(50 ~ 90 wt%), according to compressive strength and flexural strength of hardened cement mortar. XRD and SEM were evaluated utilizing the initial cement hydration properties.

Domestic expressway are exposed to damage of combined deterioration by excessive use of deicer and a lot of cost is required for maintaining damage structures. Therefore now is the time that durability of subsidiary concrete structures is required to enhanced in order to reduce maintenance cost of structures and to promote road safety. In this study measured scaling resistance of concrete using the 4% CaCl2 used in the ASTM C 672 and 3% NaCl used in the MTO LS-412.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate bond strength between sulfur polymer coating material and old concrete. The melted sulfur polymer was sprayed on surface of the concrete which is controlled by four types of temperature such as 0, 30, 50 and 100 ℃. The test result showed that the higher the temperature degree of concrete surface, the higher bond strength be obtained.

Fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) reinforcing bars for concrete structure, as a non-corrosive material, has been extensively investigated by many researchers. However, it has not been practically used as the reinforcement or structural material in civil engineering structures due to its low elastic modulus if glass fibers were used. This study was motivated to overcome this shortcoming of FRP bars to be used for concrete structures. Material hybridization was applied to enhance its elastic modulus. The effect of material hybridization was evaluated by comparing the results of tensile test with those of non-hybrid FRP bars.

This study was performed an evaluation of mechanical properties of cold in-place road pavement using waste asphalt aggregate and green binder. As the results of study, The difference between marshall stability and flow is insignificant according to binder and admixture type. Thus, use of GBC and admixture is possible as using material of cold in-place asphalt concrete for road pavement.

For hybrid fiber reinforced UHPC with two kinds of steel fibers, variation of the flexural behavior with different fiber distribution characteristics was estimated by experiments, and a prediction of the flexural behavior using smeared crack model. it was found that adopting a crack bandwidth considering the fiber distribution characteristics enable to predict the fractural behavior of UHPC beam.

In this study, concrete fracture energy was obtained using Hillerboug's three point notched beam test. Total of 12 notched concrete beams were tested under the two different loading conditions: constant stroke control and constant CMOD control. Even though individual fracture energies obtained from two different loading condition show some of variations, averaged fracture energy from both loading condition were very similar.

In this study, the tensile properties of FRP in the oceanic environment were compared. The tensile properties at room temperature and sea water temperature were compared and the tensile properties according to the the salt stress permeation duration are compared. It is appeared that the difference in the tensile properties of composite materials due to the temperature difference very little, and it is appeared that the tensile difference due to salt stress permeation by the types of glass fiber has a difference.

When concrete is exposed to sulfate attack, ettringite is produced to cause internal expansion and crack. In this study, the sulfate resistance of remicon latex-modified concrete was compared with latex and admixture ratio. From the results, when latex content was increased, the sulfate resistance of remicon latex-modified concrete was improved.

The objective of this study is to suggest an equation of development length of GFRP rebar. A regression analysis was performed based on the experimental results failed by splitting failure. By regression analysis, this study can suggest to development length and it is possible to make more efficient design than the equations of ACI and JSCE.

Based on Measurement of the dynamic Modulus of Elasticity Lightweight Aggregate Concrete using USPV. Depending on the materials used absolute difference in dynamic modulus of elasticity was verified, but increasing load was caused Ultrasonic velocities increase, and accordingly the relative value increase in dynamic modulus of elasticity identical trend was confirmed.

This study investigates strength development of magnesia-phosphate cement considering curing temperature and W/B ratio. The results revealed that it showed an excellent strength development at early ago and the influence of curing temperature was within 25% on strength.

Concrete structures known that relatively safe for the fire, but the fire damage at different depending on the materials used will be affected, depending on the strength of the concrete damage situation appears different. In this study compared to compressive strength properties acooding to different type of concrete strength fire damege through about concrete structure is utilized as a basis for maintenance.

In this study, it was developed eco-friendly zero cement fiber reinforced concrete using ground granulated blast furnace slag and alkali activator(water glass, sodium hydroxides). Also, it was evaluated the flexure capacity of the RC beams using zero cement concrete. The eco-friendly concrete using zero cement encouraged alkali activation reaction has rapid hardening speed and showed possibility as a high strength concrete. Also, the RC beams applied this showed similar movement and destroy tendency with RC used previous cement.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the corrosion protection properties of Zn/Sn metal spray method according to the contents ratio of Zn and Sn by CASS test. Also, the corrosion protection life of Zn/Sn metal spray method is evaluated by the comparing between the corrosion properties of Zn metalizing method and Zn/Sn metal spray method using CASS test. As a result, it was confirmed that the optimum content ratio of Zn/Sn in metal spray method is 60:40(65:35) (Zn : Sn volume ratio) in aspect of corrosion protection properties and construction properties. Also, it was confirmed that the Zn/Sn metal spray method had more than 3 times of corrosion protection properties cmparing the Zn matalizing method.

This study is based on the electrochemical theory which aims to get the quantitative evaluation about corrosion protection of Zn-Sn metal spray method. The various existing corrosion resistance method and various mixture ratio of Zn-Sn metal spray method is applied with structural steel which is measured change of polarization resistance and corrosion potential. So corrosion protection of Zn-Sn metal spray method is tested. Consequently, coating side of Zn-Sn metal spray method was lower than electric potential of a structural steel adhesion side. So, Galvanic Protection of Zn-Sn metal spray found that structural steel advanced system. Accordingly, Zn-Sn metal spray method is expected as corrosion protection technology excellent in corrosion prevention of structural steel.

A method to measure rheological properties of cementitious materials through mini slump test has been previously suggested. In this study, experiments were performed to verify that method. As the mini slump test proceeds, the spreading diameter of the material were measured by using a digital image processing technique. From the measured spreading diameter versus time curve, the rheological properties were estimated and compared to the properties measured from the viscometer.

In this study, high-ductile and low-fiber composites have been mixed using Alkali-activated cement-free binders combined with PVA fibers of the volume fraction of 1.0~1.5%. From the direct tensile test of the composites, the low-fiber cement-free composites could exhibit high-ductile tensile behaviors about 4.0~7.0% tensile strains after cracks.
