The objective of this study is to investigate the relationship between anaerobic・aerobic exercise intensity and hand steadiness. Based on physiological analysis the conceptual model explaining that both increased anaerobic and aerobic exercise intensity reduce hand steadiness is suggested, which is verified through the experiment with 20 subjects. Hand steadiness is the critical contributor to having an effect on the job performance just as in the rifle shooting and archery in sports, and the microscope-related job requiring hand steadiness in industries, and so forth. In anaerobic exercise experiment the hand steadiness is measured through hand steadiness tester having 9 different diameter holes after each subject exerts 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% of maximum back strength measured by back muscle dynamometer. In aerobic exercise condition after they do jumping jack, it is evaluated at each time heart rate reaches 115%, 130%, and 145% of reference heart rate measured in no exercise. The findings are that an increased intensity in both types of exercises tend to decrease hand steadiness, but hand steadiness at 25% of maximum back strength and 115% of reference heart rate is rather higher than at no exercise. Just as the association between cognitive stress and job performance has upside-down U form, so does the relation of physical loading to hand steadiness, which means that a little exercise has a tendency to improve hand steadiness compared to one in no exercise condition .

When it comes to designing a product or a process, the robust parameter design (RPD) methodology devised by Taguchi is recognized as a way to produce products or processes with less variability, while the specifications of products or processes are met, so that the ratio of nonconforming products can be as minimized as possible. Nevertheless, as a matter of fact, there have been many pros and cons concerning the RPD method, mainly because of the use of signal to noise ratio as the measure of quality characteristic. Meanwhile, the variability analysis method has been highly recommended as an alternative of the RPD in the literature. In this paper, it is demonstrated that RPD can also be implemented within the framework of the variability analysis, which is sounder in the statistical sense. In light of an example of RPD approach, the modeling and estimation procedure is discussed in some detail with a view to a comparison of the two methods.

Computerized dementia-prevention training program is the cognition training program to improve and maintain cognitive function for the middle aged and the old. The program consists of many different types of training program based on categorization of complex cognition area. It is basically a self training program with a type games for people with MCI (Mild Cognition Impairment) and for normal people as well. Then this program should be validated by a group of experts for the uniqueness compared to other cognition training games.

This research is to improve the cultural-welfare of seniors by vitalizing the limited cultural-contents area and letting them overcome feeling of being left out and of lethargy through development of indoor functional Gateball system. This system makes it possible for senior people enjoy Gateball regardless of space or weather, the disadvantages of outdoor Gateball, and the game is identical to outdoor games and even it has on-line game function s well. The indoor Gateball is safe for seniors to play and the required physical power is just reasonable for seniors. It also has good for preventing dementia and recreational system.

It is crucial that the manufacturing companies should consider reducing environmental impacts of the products in the early design phases. Life Cycle Assessment method is one of the most widely used and important tools for assessing the overall environmental impacts of products across the entire lifecycle. Based on the Life Cycle Assessment method, we provide a systematic guideline for eco-product design. The proposed guideline is primarily aimed at product developers or engineers, as a insight to the integration of environmental thinking into the early design phase, and therefore into products. This guideline has several steps: select the target product, describe the product structure, quantify the environmental impacts, identify meaningful underlying environmental impacts, and develop an environmental strategy. The usefulness of proposed guideline is also demonstrated through the application to an actual vacuum cleaner.

In recent years, Prognostic Health Management (PHM) has caught the attention of lots of researchers in a wide range of applications. Thus, many researchers from research institutes, universities and companies have published and patented their findings in various fields of PHM. PHM is a method or technique that can be used to detect performance degradation and forecast remaining life of a system based on the health monitoring information. A number of review papers discussing on PHM methods and techniques have been presented by other researchers but mostly in maintenance of manufacturing equipments, aerospace systems and structural monitoring. This paper focuses on the trend and direction of PHM especially in the automotive industry through published research papers and also patents. The purpose of this paper is to recognize the trend and to provide suggestions for potential future research in PHM for automotive. Accordingly, this paper should offer opportunity for the manufacturers or researchers to get information on current trends and also potential areas that can be further explored in PHM for automotive.

In this research, customized management performance index for small and medium enterprises in solar energy area was developed. To acquire management performance index, first Delphi technique is applied and secondly, AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) used to give weight to each main index and then final management performance index was achieved. By developing management performance index, top management could manage their company more efficiently.

The purpose of this study is to propose an organizational project competency assessment model that is suitable for evaluating small and medium enterprises. First, the assessment areas and items for each area are determined through extensive investigation of previous models including OPM3, CMMI, and PMBOK. Next, the weights of assessment areas and items are decided by AHP analysis of experts response in the field of the project management. Finally, a project competency assessment model with assessment sheets is proposed. The model proposed in this study might support managers of small and medium enterprises to find pros and cons of project competencies and to establish improvement plans.

This study were analyzed based on the core competencies that Small Giant enterprises to foster the goals of growth of SMEs mid-sized businesses rather than Global Small Giant enterprises of the business model for a causal relationship. As the result, the average age, sales and number of employees of Korean small giants were 20.6 years, 148.8 billion won and 312.1. This research investigated that Korean small giants were realizing the sustainable growth with the firm shares in the target markets, based on added values in groups and technical powers, although their average age is one third younger than global small giants. The further research needs to develop and select small giants more precisely and strictly. It is expected that small giants will be new growth engines to improve global competitiveness of Korea

When manufacturing die casting mold, generally, the casting layout design should be considered based on the relation between injection system, casting condition, gate system, and cooling system. Also, the extent or the location of product defects was differentiated according to the various relations of the above conditions. In this research, in order to optimizing casting design of an automobile part (Gear Box) Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) was performed by using the simulation software (Z-Cast). the simulation results were analyzed and compared with experimental results. During the mold filling, internal porosities caused by air entrap were predicted and reduced remarkably by the modification of the gate system and the configuration of overflow. With the solidification analysis, internal porosities caused by the solidification shrinkage were predicted and reduced by the modification of the gate system. For making a better production die-casting tool, cooling systems on several thick areas are proposed in order to reduce internal porosities caused by the solidification shrinkage.

Cleanroom could be largely classified into industrial cleanroom that can be contaminated by particlesand bio-cleanroom that can be contaminated by biological particles. Electrical manufacturing companies such as precision machines and electrical parts essentially have industrial cleanroom facilities and clean technologies to produce defects free products due to particles.Industrial cleanroom should be controlled in respect of 4M1E to prevent from foreign materials of submicro unit and to keep out contamination sources from outside. In this paper, a concept for a quantitative methodology to measure the particles from running components was suggested by combining both newly making clean booth such as wear tester and laser particle counter.

절삭가공에서 가공양의 과다 및 가공부위와 형상은 절삭저항에 의한 절삭 열을 발생시키고 이 열로 인해 가공품의 정밀도에 변형을 가져온다. 절삭가공 시 공작기계에서 발생하는 오차의 40~70%는 열 변형 오차에 의해서 발생한다. 박판 박판 블레이드는 절삭 열을 받아들이는 공작물의 두께가 얇기 때문에 열 변형 오차에 쉽게 정밀도가 저하된다. 이때에 뒤틀림이 발생하면 정밀도는 매우 큰 오차를 포함하게 된다. 본 연구의 목적은 박판의 절삭가공에서 열 변형이 발생함을 예측하고 발생 부위에 따라 어떤 변형이 발생하는 지를 측정하여 파악하고자 한다. 또한, 측정된 결과를 통해 열 변형을 최소화하는 가공방법을 제시한다.

This paper proposes a software development evaluation index for the productivity related to Spring 2.5 and EJB 3.0 with same lightweight container architecture. Spring is a known successful open source standard model for lightweight container architecture. EJB in an enterprise environment as a standard framework is most commonly used in production. However, there is no comparison research about the performance of Spring 2.5 and EJB 3.0 with same identical platform. Quantitative analysis is supported as a part of LoC(Line of Code) analysis. There is a limit to develop the updated software with no the specific evaluating index for the productivity of the software. In this study, the development platform environment based on the same database schema system Spring 2.5 and EJB 3.0 is in the design and implementation. In addition, comparison and standardization of software development productivity assessment is to provide guidance.

최근 클라우드 서비스의 혁신은 정보통신기술에 기여한 가장 큰 잠재력을 가진 기술 중에 하나이다. 그러나 클라우드 서비스의 잠재력을 발휘하기 위해서는 서비스 제공자와 소비자관점에서 서비스의 보안, 성능, 가용성 등 다양한 이슈들에 대한 명확한 이해가 필요하다. 점점 더 많은 개인과 기업의 정보들은 물론 공공부문의 정보들도 클라우드 서비스에 놓이게 되면, 주된 관심은 어떻게 안전하고 신뢰할 수 있는 클라우드 서비스를 제공할 것인가에 맞추어지게 된다. 이러한 상황에 대응하기 위하여 한국에서는 클라우드 서비스 인증제도가 시행되고 있고 미국에서는 FedRAMP가 시행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 두 인증제도의 비교분석을 수행하고 두 인증제도간의 차이점에 대하여 기술한다. 궁극적으로는 두 인증제도간의 비교연구 결과를 토대로 한국의 클라우드 서비스 인증제도의 발전방안에 대하여 제안한다.

전 세계적으로 IT분야에서 클라우드 컴퓨팅에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으며, 많은 기업들이 조직의 경쟁력 향상을 위해 클라우드 서비스 도입을 고려하고 있다. 클라우드 서비스는 클라우드 컴퓨팅에 기반을 두고 있으며 서비스 유형에 따라 SaaS, PaaS, IaaS로 구분할 수 있다. 본 연구는 실증적 연구를 통해 기술수용모델(TAM: Technology Acceptance Model)을 적용하여 기업의 B2B 클라우드 서비스 이용의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하는데, 국내에서 클라우드 서비스 중 PaaS를 서비스 기업과 동시에 이를 이용하는 기업이 거의 없으므로, B2B 클라우드 서비스중에서 SaaS와 IaaS를 그 분석 대상으로 하였다. 이를 위해 클라우드 서비스에 대한 지식을 보유한 IT 기업의 의사결정자, IT 기술 지원 담당자 등을 대상으로 설문조사하고 통계적 분석을 실시한 결과, 지각된 유용성, 사회적 영향력, 마케팅 노력 순으로 기업의 클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스 도입의도에 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 분석된 결과를 토대로 클라우드 서비스 유형인 SaaS, IaaS에 따른 조절효과를 검증하였다. 본 연구는 기업 사용자들의 클라우드 서비스 이용의도 분석은 물론 기업 클라우드 서비스 제공자들이 그들의 새로운 서비스 모델 개발 및 마케팅 전략 수립에 있어 의미 있는 도움을 줄 것으로 기대한다.

This paper presents development processes of a smart work for After business especially for the elevator industry. We called developed smart work for A/S work. A/S work using iPhone has some advantages compare to previous A/S system: 1) Before/After photo management. 2) The assessment process to customer satisfaction. 3) The work history management using app. 4) The inquiry and confirmation function to current status of all workers. 5) The group SMS function sending selected workers. A/S work was used ‘M’ elevator A/S business and found to be a efficient smart work system.

The purpose of this paper is to present Smart Virtual TRS(Trunked Radio System) service that gives the TRS function in mobile network with smart phone application and server. TRS is essential equipment of logistics vehicle so, most of trunk drivers uses TRS frequently. Developed service is based on smartphone without TRS equipment. Therefore, Smart virtual TRS included in TMS(Transportation Management System) has some effects for logistics company. i) Smart Virtual TRS gives better communication environment between office and drivers. ii) Smartphone App gives flexibility to TMS functions. iii) Smart Virtual TRS gives cost reduction effect.

F-Measure is one of the external validity indexes for evaluating clustering results and has been widely used.Though it has clear advantage over other widely usedexternal measures such as Purity and Entropy, FMeasure has inherently been less sensitive than other validity indexes in some cases. This insensitivity owes to the definition of F-Measure that counts only most influential portions. In this research, we define a new validity index based on F-Measure, called Fn-Measure and show that it can detect the difference in the cases that original F-Measure cannot detect the difference in clustering results.

Recently real-estate investment business is standing out as a new plan for creation of source of income. In this paper, we suggested appropriate real-estate investment strategy through the reconstruct case study of existing one-storied building. That is, we showed the efficient process of decision and propel to reconstruct and the key points for lease business and post management after building completion. Also, we analyzed the rate of return of commercial building investment in order to find its optimum dealing time.
